Ramona Singer Vacations In Aspen – Photos; Final RHONY Reunion Episode Tonight!

When Ramona Singer got the invite to join Bethenny Frankel’s ski trip in Vermont during the last Real Housewives of New York season, it would make sense for to feel grateful that she was included since she and Bethenny were feuding all season long. Instead, she didn’t seem impressed and had the nerve to remark, “I only ski Aspen.”

So it’s only fitting that Ramona returned to one of her favorite places for a little rest and relaxation.

Ramona did not mention or photograph any staff members unpacking her bags, but she did document other aspects of the Aspen trip in posts on her Instagram page. She revealed that she scored a new pair of sunglasses right when she got to Colorado with the caption “#aspen ready with new ray-bans polarized bought at Denver airport.”

Ramona shared a photo of her and a bicycle writing, “Hunter Creek bike ride ! nothing like #aspen.”

Tonight is part 3 of the reunion episodes. “The reunion concludes when the housewives look back on their fun-filled trip to Mexico, from Lu’s tipsy topple to the tequila-drinking marathon. Tinsley and Sonja attempt to clear the air and salvage their friendship. However, the reunion takes a turn when Bethenny questions the sincerity of Ramona’s tearful apology. Meghan Edmonds Shocked & Happy To See Kelly Dodd And Shannon Beador Share a Heartfelt Moment

Now that she’s actually back in the mix with (some of) the ladies of The Real Housewives Of Orange County, Meghan Edmonds has a front row seat to the shifting alliances and drama that are plaguing this group. But this week offered up a surprising moment between Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd, which Meghan admits she was shocked to witness.

Before discussing that St. Patrick’s Day miracle, Meghan celebrates the idea of throwing herself back into the modeling world, even if it is somewhat of a pipe dream. She jokes, “It’s fun to (pretend to) be a model sometimes and for me, it’s so important for my mental health to work and play outside the home.”

“It was also so fun to go out and celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with the girls,” continues Meghan, who even put up with Shannon’s horrific Irish accent for the day.

“I didn’t know how it would go having both Kelly and Shannon there with the mix of alcohol, but it couldn’t have gone better! I love that we got along all day and then to see Kelly give Shannon and heartfelt apology?! So shocking and heartwarming! By the way, shout out to Brie Leach for my awesome makeup!”

Shocking and heartwarming moment aside, it will be interesting to see how Vicki Gunvalson reacts to this new temporary truce between Shannon and Kelly. Prediction: Screaming and arm-flailing will occur. Also, Satan will cause confusion. Hey – while he’s at it, maybe he can force these chicks to film TOGETHER at some point too? Just a humble request!

Moving on to the Spartan Race that Tamra Judge and Lydia McLaughlin ~~nearly puked at~~ ran in, Meghan comments on Shannon’s absence. Although David Beador joined in the race too, Shannon didn’t show up to support him which, according to some, seemed suspect.

Meghan argues, “I don’t really understand why they were shocked that Shannon didn’t go along and insinuated that she should want to join David at an out of town event such as the Spartan Race. It’s always great to support your spouse when you can but let’s take into consideration that Shannon and David have three, school-aged children with a lot of extracurriculars. Additionally, this was a weekend trip to Las Vegas so I completely understand why she couldn’t go along, let alone participate.”

Although this week was fairly drama-free, Meghan closes her blog with a warning to “stay tuned to see if the happiness continues next week or if it was too good to be true…” Well, unless this cast can figure out how to drop some of this old baggage and keep it moving, I’ll remain somewhat skeptical. (But always hopeful!)

Stephanie Hollman Glad She Made Up With Brandi Redmond; Not Surprised At LeeAnne Locken’s Shady Costume

Last year’s Real Housewives Of Dallas was all about the true-blue friendship between Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond. So when season two began with a pretty serious rift between the ladies, it seemed like a glitch in the Matrix. Thankfully, not too many weeks had to roll by before Stephanie and Brandi talked through their issues, and now all is right in the world again!

Stephanie describes her relief at starting anew with Brandi and her total lack of surprise that LeeAnne Locken is up to her old tricks. But first, she expresses gratitude to the viewers for their virtual love. “Thank you all again for another week of kindness and support! Your out pour of support and encouraging messages truly do make a huge difference while going through this experience! If I could reach through the computer screen and give you all a big hug, believe me, I would!”

Some wondered why Stephanie would even invite LeeAnne to her Halloween party, but she had her reasons. She explains in her blog, “She is a friend of Brandi Redmond’s, Cary Deuber is trying to turn over a new leaf with her, so I thought this would be my way of giving her a chance. Isn’t that what she wants?”

Before the party, Stephanie had some fences to mend. She describes the anxiety – and relief – of facing Brandi alone for the first time in months. “Driving to Brandi’s house to talk with her for the first time in four months was probably the most nerve wracking thing I have ever done. I felt like I was driving to a divorce hearing, trying to give my plea to save the marriage. I went into this conversation expecting the worst but hoping for the best. I didn’t know where our friendship stood, where to go next, or how we could ever move on.”

Eager to hear Brandi’s side of the story, Stephanie describes her remorse in hurting Brandi, whose friendship she values. “I do cherish her thoughts and feelings, and if I ever hurt someone or made them feel less than the incredibly special person they are then I have an apology to give. I never felt embarrassed to call Brandi my friend, nor was I ever looking to trade her in. Hearing her say that now, and in the moment, hurt my heart deeply because I am so proud to call that girl my friend! She is an incredible mother, friend, wife, and sister. She brings out a fun side in me that no one else can tap and that is just one of the many reasons why I love her.”

After the ladies shared tears and hugs, Stephanie vowed this would be their last “big” fight – ever. (Here’s hoping! But they are on a Real Housewives franchise together, so…) Stephanie gushes, “I don’t ever want to lose my best friend again, which is why I am sticking to my promise to show up at your doorstep with a bottle of wine next time you don’t answer my phone call! I love you, Brandi!”

As for LeeAnne? Well, Stephanie plans to have plenty more fights with her! When LeeAnne showed up at her Halloween party dressed as “Two-Face” in honor of Stephanie, no one was shocked. Least of all the hostess.

Stephanie admits, “I wish I could say I was surprised, but as you could see from my reaction, I wasn’t. What did surprise me was that instead of staying home for the night, she chose to go out of her way and make a costume to try and completely humiliate me in front of my friends and family in my home. Talk about trying to poke the bear! Is anyone starting to see what I meant in that text now when I said, ‘LeeAnne Locken is up to her old tricks again’?”

When Steph’s hubby Travis suggested throwing LeeAnne out of their home, Stephanie realized this might have been just what LeeAnne wanted. So she allowed her to stay.

Stephanie posits, “I knew what her purpose was in coming to my party, she wanted to be kicked out and cause a huge scene, but if that was her plan then clearly she does not know who her opponent is – that is not who I am. I believe at the end of the day, you’re responsible for your own words and actions. I stand by what I did at the party because her costume said a lot more about her character than it did mine. Is being kind and trying to make her feel welcome in my home two-faced, or me trying to give her a chance?”

Well, Stephanie did win points for not playing into LeeAnne’s hands at the party. But we’ll see if she can avoid drama in the coming weeks. And if previews are to be believed, it looks like RHOD is serving up plenty!

Kelly Dodd Says Tamra Judge Has “Chronic Bitch Mouth;” Defends Friendships With Shannon Beador And Vicki Gunvalson

Kelly Dodd has found herself between a rock and a hard place. That rock is Vicki Gunvalson, her old pal; and the hard place is Shannon Beador, the enemy she’s now bonded with. I mean Kelly saved Shannon from Stockholm Syndrome at the hands of Tamra Judge.

After dedicating her blog to the people of Houston, Kelly launches right into breaking down the Real Housewives Of Orange County drama. One such gem is Kelly’s observation that, “If Peggy has resting bitch face, then Tamra definitely has chronic bitch mouth.” True! “I didn’t understand why Tamra said she wanted to give Peggy a second chance,” continues Kelly, “then insults her by saying she has a ‘resting bitch face’?”

Moving on, Kelly reports that her relationship with Shannon is “moving beyond reconciliation with Shannon to real friendship” and “starting to show signs of resilience.” Does Shannon agree with this opinion? Well, nothing like booze to bring broads together, right?!

“I believe Shannon and I were meant to be friends. It’s just a shame that it has taken over a year for our friendship to blossom, but, as you can see, we are both happy to have moved on,” Kelly writes in her Bravo blog. “Twice now we have tackled difficult topics and conversations, calmly talked about our tumultuous past and ended up in a much better place. We agreed that false rumors, regardless of the source or messenger, are extremely hurtful to us and our families.” I believe this is called growing up, and I’ve heard it’s hard to do!

One thing Kelly can’t get over, though, is Shannon’s “hideous” green blouse. “I hope to God she retires it, or better yet, burns it.” DITTO.

Kelly also makes it clear that her friendship with Vicki is staying put – and Meghan’s “comments about me being manipulated by Vicki, nothing could be further from the truth.”

“I decide who to befriend, and who to trust based upon the chemistry I have with that person, and how they treat me,” Kelly insists. “With the notable exception of Vicki playing it safe in Ireland by not coming to my defense, Vicki has always been a fun, loyal, trust.”

So just to get this straight – Kelly thinks Shannon is manipulated by Tamra; yet it is inconceivable to consider that Vicki has manipulated Kelly? I think Kelly is right – she and Shannon are birds of a loony feather!

Kelly also mentions that she’s confused by Peggy’s cancer situation and warns there’s more where that comes from. Could Kelly become the Nu-Meghan? Maybe, but she vows not to be the Nu-Tamra! “We are all a little perplexed trying to understand Peggy’s health situation. It seems the cancer sleuths are on the case again. Stay tuned to see if we can figure out what’s really going on.” [HUGE GROAN]

Big Brother 19 Week 8 Power Ranking–Two New Players Take Paul’s Power

We’ve still have about a month left of Big Brother 19, believe it or not, and things are shifting as they always do. The Big Brother 19 house imploded on Monday once again, but thing haven’t changed that much as a result. Unfortunately, much remains the same despite some shifting dynamics. Without further ado, here are this week’s Big Brother 19 power rankings:

8. Matt – With Matt’s penalty vote and insistence on going home, it’s hard to see the houseguests going against his wishes. Before the Power of Veto ceremony it was discussed that maybe taking out Raven Walton is the better move, but seems to have dissipated. It will most likely fall back on voting out Matt. He showed a bit of life this week when Kevin Schlehuber wasn’t backdoored, but that was probably it; he still doesn’t realize what a fool he was all season long. Good riddance.

7. Kevin – Poor Kevin is the new Mark Jansen. He really cannot catch a break and somehow gets blamed for everything despite not really having had the chance to do much in the Big Brother 19 game. It would be interesting to see him win power, though he’d probably just do what others want and gun for Raven. It’s gotten nasty seeing Paul wind everyone up about Kevin. And really, they are all going to feel awful when they realize that Kevin has pretty much been loyal and upstanding all season long. The only deceptive things thathe really did were what Paul requested. If only he would out that, but would they even buy it at this point?

6. Jason – If not for his Head of Household win this week, Jason was primed to be the main target. This week, Jason took all of the blame for not backdooring Kevin and lying about his plan. Instead of letting the others take some of the heat, he took it all, and it’s going to hurt him one way or another. I don’t think he’ll make it to the end unless he goes on a major competition run, but with just accepting blame from Matt and Raven, it’s not a great look.

5. Raven – Raven got fired up on Monday as expected, though the others want to use her to go after targets like Kevin and Jason. And it makes sense, because she’s really not a threat to win many competitions or the game overall. If things don’t go her way, she can easily go out next. Some of them actually want her out before Jason or Kevin, but it will depend on who wins what competitions and how she fits into everyone else’s plans. It seems like she’d just end up working with Paul, Christmas, and Alex.

4. Alex – Alex is seen as the more innocent of the Jason/Alex duo, especially with what’s gone down this week. But her attitude and kicking people when they are down is not going to earn her much respect. Despite being a competitor, I’m not sure Alex is capable of earning the votes to win the game, if she even makes it that far. Most of them want her out at five anyways as they see her as too big of a threat to take deep. I think she’ll be very bitter when her or Jason are finally taken out, especially if it’s before Kevin or Raven.

3. Paul – Paul is still running this game, but as I say almost every week, it only takes a few conversations for his house of cards to come tumbling down. It just isn’t happening. These people are too scared to compare notes or say anything against Paul at all, it seems. I’ll keep up hope that things could change, but I’m not sure. He has these people doing what he wants and not seeing the bigger picture. It’s baffling how this has been maintained and beyond frustrating to watch, especially with the way he riles people up to get involved in arguments.

2. Christmas – Despite Christmas argument with Kevin, she’s still in a great spot. Paul and Josh are protecting her and she’s made good inroads with Alex, Jason and Raven too. I wish she didn’t so quickly discard her relationship with Kevin, but she’s been quick to turn on people when the house turns on them. She maintains that Paul is loyal to her and Josh (and he is) but that doens’t mean they should risk taking him to the end. She needs to listen to Josh a bit more and wake up to see that taking Paul out when they have a chance is the best thing for her game.

1. Josh – Josh seems to be the only one expressing real doubt in Paul. He confides this in Christmas but she has shot it down recently for the most part, which is odd considering Christmas used to be the one voicing these concerns. While he still gets involved in arguments far too often, he does his apology tour and ends up in a fine spot. Nobody is targeting him anytime soon and he could get very lucky and end up having the chance to take out Paul at the very end, which may actually earn him the victory.

Nominees For The Fourth Annual Real Housewives Awards Are Announced!

Bravo is bringing back the Real Housewives Awards for the fourth year in a row. This time, the ladies from across the franchise will compete for fans’ votes in various categories within the back-to-school theme.

Fortunately, it seems like this list was compiled with the intention to make sure everyone feels included, which is nice. Unfortunately, it seems like this list was compiled with the intention to make sure everyone feels included, which means that many of the nominations do not make sense. Nevertheless, the fandom will (hopefully) make the right decisions. Either way you slice it, nominating every housewife is a good way to ensure that a lot of them show up when the awards are handed out. So at least that’s good.

The fans have until October 4 to vote for the winners at Bravotv.com/RHAwards or the Bravo Now app.

These are the categories (and my corresponding opinions):

The first category is “Most Likely to Live in A Mansion.”

The first thing I notice after reading the list of nominees is that New Jersey is excluded. Shade thrown – for sure. It also doesn’t make sense to include anyone from New York City since they all live in apartments, but then again they are luxury apartments so carry on. Obviously this whole category is designed to reignite the Atlanta mansion war between Sheree Whitfield and Kenya Moore, who are both nominated, of course. The other nominees include Lisa Vanderpump (duh), Shannon Beador, Stephanie Hollman (her husband bought a home with a pool in the living room so she had to make the list), Bethenny Frankel, and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan (she did not put in that champagne room for nothing). This should really just be about the Beverly Hills cast in all honesty.

The “New Girl” category is pretty straight forward. It’s everyone who joined the franchise this year: Dorit Kemsley, Peggy Sulahian, Kameron Westcott, D’Andra Simmons, Tinsley Mortimer, and Monique Samuels. This one is most likely going to Dorit or Tinsley since they are on the veteran shows and pretty much everyone in Potomac or Dallas is at “New Girl” status in the franchise, so there’s no point of being the “newest” among a whole cast of new girls.

The “Most Likely to Surprise Everyone at the Reunion” category is a juicy one.

It is obviously referencing the biggest reunion episode revelations. Without question this should go to Porsha Williams for outing Phaedra Parks as the one who started the date rape rumors about Kandi Burruss. That was beyond shocking. Kim Richards giving Lisa Rinna that bunny is a close second place. Teresa Giudice accusing Jacqueline Laurita of calling the Feds was also pretty outrageous. Ashley Darby surprised the fans when she announced that she was living separately from her husband. Tamra Judge, Brandi Redmond, and Bethenny are also nominated.

Of course a “Class Comedian” category had to be included with high school themed awards.

I have no idea why Phaedra Parks was nominated. She didn’t end her last season on a “funny” note. Sure, she threw in some humorous shade en route to her demise, but including her is awkward at this point. Lisa Rinna asking if people were doing coke in Dorit’s bathroom was one of the funniest moments ever, even though she was asking in a serious manner, but I’m really not here for any of her “intentional” jokes. The other nominees include Vicki Gunvalson, LeeAnne Locken, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Monique Samuels. Why isn’t Dorinda Medley on this list? She should not only be on this list, but she should be winning this award. Hopefully it goes to another New York lady in her honor. Luann and Sonja are hilarious so either would make sense.

“Most Likely To Never Age” is going to be a tough category. I feel like it’s a tie between nominees Cynthia Bailey and Ramona Singer if I’m being honest. The other nominees include Lisa Rinna, Kelly Dodd, D’Andra Simmons, and Karen Huger. Tamra Judge and her perfect face lift should definitely be on this list. Shaking my head, Bravo.

Things get a little odd with the “Best Friends” award.

Erika Girardi and Kyle Richards are grouped as a pair. Sure, they are friends, but there are definitely closer duos in the 90210 that would make sense for this award. Then again, it’s clear these awards are more about making sure everyone is included than actually making sense and pleasing the fans.

The pair formally known as Frick and Frack – Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams – scored a nomination, which is awkward considering that they are not friends anymore. It could be interesting TV to see them accept the award together though. Nevertheless, I really don’t want to see Phaedra on Bravo ever again after what she did to Kandi, so I feel conflicted about that.

Brandi Redmond and LeeAnne Locken were nominated in a move that I feel was designed to get a rise out of Stephanie Hollman. And then there are pairs that actually make sense: Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice, Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon, and Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson. There were some obvious exclusions though: Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador, Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania, Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill. Those are some “attached at the hip” bonds that I expected to see in this category for sure.

I have no idea why, but they decided to give out awards for “Most Athletic.”

This seems a little bit off-brand to me. Maybe if it was skewed toward being in shape it would be more applicable. But anyway, it includes Kenya Moore, Dorit Kemsley, Tamra Judge, Dolores Catania, Siggy Flicker, Carole Radziwill, and Ashley Darby. Carole has been complaining about exercise for years so I don’t get why she’s on this list just because she decided to run a marathon. Kenya works out a lot and Dolores and Tamra own gyms. The rest of this doesn’t make sense.

The “Prom King and Queen” category is full of polarizing choices: Dorit and PK Kemsley, Lydia and Doug McLaughlin, Melissa and Joe Gorga, Karen and Ray Huger, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, Mark and Cary Deuber, and then the wildcard of Sonja Morgan and “Frenchie.”

The contenders for “Best Style” are Shereé Whitfield, Erika Girardi (but not Erika Jayne?), Meghan Edmonds, Kameron Westcott, Ramona Singer, and Karen Huger. Once again New Jersey was completely snubbed (and subsequently shaded) by being excluded from this race.

This award for “Most Likely To Succeed (in Reading)” is actually a tough contest. It really should be between all of the Atlanta ladies and Dorinda Medley, but the actual nominees are Porsha Williams, Erika Girardi, Kelly Dodd, LeeAnne Locken, Teresa Giudice, Gizelle Bryant, and (thankfully) Dorinda Medley.
