Jeff Bezos’ Former Wife Announces Billions of Dollars of Donations in 2025

Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife Mackenzie Scott announced that she gave $7.1 billion to nonprofit groups in 2025. This is a sharp increase from recent years and one of the largest single-year totals in philanthropy. In a short essay on her website, Scott framed the number as only part of the story. She said the gifts reflect her view of generosity.

MacKenzie Scott confirms donating $7.1 billion to charity this year

Jeff Bezos‘ ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott, wrote in the essay, “This dollar total will likely be reported in the news, but any dollar amount is a vanishingly tiny fraction of the personal expressions of care being shared into communities this year.” The 2025 gifts follow $2.6 billion in 2024 and $2.1 billion in 2023. It brings her total giving since 2019 to about $26.3 billion.

A large share of 2025 funding by Scott went to historically Black colleges and universities. More than a dozen HBCUs have received $783 million in gifts tracked so far this year. Rutgers professor Marybeth Gasman praised Scott’s impact. They said, “One of the things that I really admire about Mackenzie Scott is that she is like an equity machine.”

In her essay, Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife Mackenzie Scott continued by writing, “Generosity and kindness engage the same pleasure centers in the brain as sex, food, and receiving gifts, and they improve our health and long-term happiness as well.”

She added, “The peace-fostering byproducts of one unexpected act of kindness toward a stranger of a different background or beliefs might inspire a beneficial chain reaction that goes on for years. Respect, understanding, insight, empathy, forgiveness, inspiration – all of these are meaningful contributions to others.”

Scott also said she is moving more of her wealth into investments that align with her goals, not only into vehicles that chase returns. She said, “There are many ways to influence how we move through the world, and where we land.”

Howard Stern has blatantly denied Kim Kardashian’s claims, accusing him of ridiculing her Paris robbery. The broadcaster set the record straight on the long-standing, controversial statement during the Tuesday, November 8 episode of “The Howard Stern Show.”

Stern played a visibly emotional Kardashian’s statement from a recent episode of “The Kardashians” before playing the one he made on October 5, 2016, following her robbery. “So, we went back and looked up what I said, and nothing could be further from the truth”.

“If this woman was robbed at gunpoint by a bunch of dudes, and they threw her in a bathtub and tied her up or whatever they did, then that’s frightening”, he says in the clip, sympathizing with the reality star. However, Stern had also voiced hopes that it wasn’t a setup. “If it is a farce, then really they should go to jail for that”, he further adds.

Further in the video, Stern cracks a joke saying, “One time the Kardashians don’t have a camera, something interesting happens.” Confirming Stern’s statement, the video shows the 71-year-old’s neutral stance on the sensitive topic while assessing all possibilities.

The rumor began circulating after multiple outlets reported Swift and Kelce were eyeing a June 13, 2026 ceremony — a date fans quickly noted aligns with Swift’s long-standing love of the number thirteen. The date also coincidentally falls during peak wedding season in Rhode Island, where Swift owns a well-known oceanfront property.

Once fans learned the rumored date was already reserved, speculation spread that Swift could allegedly attempt to negotiate her way into securing the slot. A source close to the situation says that the narrative is exaggerated. “Taylor Swift would never, ever steal someone else’s wedding date. That’s just not who she is,” the insider claimed. Meanwhile, another added that the idea she would “swoop in and push someone aside” is “completely false.”

“Kate’s decorating skills have long been admired,” one source said. “Now that she has this much larger space, everyone around her is saying she could easily turn this talent into a brand that overshadows any lifestyle business Meghan has tried to launch.” Kate, 43, and Prince William recently settled into Forest Lodge, their eight-bedroom residence in Windsor Great Park.

“It’s exactly the sort of venture that would fit her understated but impeccable aesthetic.” Her eye for detail has even been praised publicly by Prince Harry, who wrote in his memoir Spare that the Kensington Palace renovation Kate led was “magnificent,” describing the “peaceful colours,” “priceless works of art,” and walnut bookshelves that made the home feel like “a museum.”

Insiders say she has already begun thinking about how Forest Lodge can serve as a space to experiment with her vision. “Forest Lodge gives Kate room to experiment with her vision,” one insider explained. “There’s real potential for her to turn this into something lasting beyond just the royal family’s needs.”

Now that the family is comfortably established, palace insiders say the timing is ideal for Kate to expand her creative pursuits. “Kate has always been quietly ambitious with her interests outside royal duties,” a palace source said. “Now the combination of her visibility, credibility, and taste means she could take on a serious commercial project and everyone around her knows it would eclipse any comparable lifestyle endeavor.”

RHOA’s Drew Sidora Accused of ‘Coercing’ Woman in Dismissed Lawsuit

While Drew Sidora navigates her contentious divorce from Ralph Pittman, she’s also been busy battling another bizarre case in court. A woman named Claudia Gregory accused the Real Housewives of Atlanta star of refusing to pay back a loan. It’s a messy situation, and the women at the center of the lawsuit claimed that Drew used “scare tactics” in an attempt to settle the debt.

According to court documents reviewed by Us Weekly, this mess started in February when Claudia filed a lawsuit against Drew. She claimed that she loaned Drew $23,543 with the expectation of full repayment in January.

Adding another wrinkle to the story, Claudia and Drew know each other through Drew’s sister, Allison. Her husband is Claudia’s brother. It remains unclear what this alleged exchange of money was for, but Claudia claimed Drew only repaid $12,543. Therefore, her lawsuit sought $11,300 in damages.

In the court docs, Claudia claimed that Drew and her assistant tried to “coerce” her into settling for less on the debt. She attached a letter that Drew’s assistant allegedly sent on November 9, 2024.

“Your repeated calls, text messages and threats directed at Drew Sidora, her team, family members and friends are unacceptable and must cease immediately,” the letter read.

It continued, “We are aware of breaches you have committed against [the NDA]. While we will address these violations in detail once the [loan is paid off], please understand that your conduct has irreparably damaged the relationship between you and [Drew].”

In January, Claudia hit back at Drew. She sent a letter threatening a lawsuit and “public embarrassment” if she didn’t receive the money back. Her court docs also included a string of text messages from April where she repeatedly asked for updates on the money. Drew appeared to cite her busy filming schedule for the delay.

“I wrapped at 3am and back heading to set. I wrap on this movie on Friday and will have my life back. It’s been long hours,” one of the alleged texts read.

Drew’s text continued, “I’m working on things to take care of you for sure,” to which Claudia replied, “I hope that means payment because you have no idea what I am and have been going through.”

In a statement, Drew’s lawyer said that she “categorically denies all allegations” related to the lawsuit. She filed court documents in September asking to have the case dismissed. Her wish came true, and the entire thing got tossed out of court. That means Claudia isn’t seeing that $11,300 anytime soon.

Survivor 49 Winner Predictions: Final Six Contestants Ranked

Survivor 49 is getting down to the wire, with only six contestants left in the game. With only one episode left until the season finale, it’s time to rank the final six players. While some of the remaining castaways have played excellent and well-rounded games, others have fallen short when it comes to making big moves. Regardless, every player in the final six has earned their spot by using different strategies to stay in the game.

We rank the final six contestants of Survivor 49

The final six of Survivor 49 features contestants from each of the three starting tribes. Sophi Balerdi is the lone representative of the original Kele tribe, which had a disastrous start to the game. Kristina Mills and Steven Ramm are the last two Hina members standing, after Sophie Segreti placed seventh. The original Uli tribe has the strongest presence in the final six, with Sage Ahrens-Nichols, Rizo Velovic, and Savannah Louie all reaching the last third of the game. 

While any of the final six players could win Survivor 49, some have a better chance than others. Here are our official rankings of who we think could win the million-dollar prize, from least to most likely. 

Kristina Mills

Out of the six remaining players, Kristina has had the fewest resume moves. She has been on both the right and wrong sides of votes, but has never been a target herself. While Kristina had the potential for a big move with her idol, she misplayed it on Steven when he received no votes. Kristina had played a good social game, but her strategic resume is lacking in comparison to her competitors. 

Sage Ahrens-Nichols

Sage has played a decent game; however, she hasn’t been the mastermind behind any game-changing moves. While she and her number one ally Jawan Pitts helped to flip the two core alliance groups against each other, her game took a hit when he was sent home. Sage was insistent on blindsiding Sophie as revenge, but the move was instead led by Rizo. While Sage could’ve added a big move to her resume by voting out Savannah, she has been playing it safe. As a result, her strategic moves haven’t been as strong as some of the other players.

Sophi Balerdi

Sophi has played an impressive game after surviving the disastrous Kele tribe. She aligned herself with Savannah and Rizo after the first tribe swap and has been loyal to them since. However, as Sophi has noted, she is number three in the trio. Sophi has voted consistently with her alliance, but hasn’t made any big moves herself. During the next Tribal Council, however, Sophi could use her Knowledge is Power Advantage to make a big move. Sophi could steal an advantage from any player, which could potentially change the course of the game. If Sophi uses her advantage correctly, she could possibly have the biggest resume move of the season.

Steven Ramm

Steven has been one of the biggest threats this season, and he has a well-rounded resume to show for it. He has been brought up as a name to vote out several times, but has consistently avoided elimination. Steven has also won two immunity challenges and secured a block-a-vote advantage by successfully completing a difficult journey. If Steven makes it to the final three, he has a decent chance of winning. However, it all depends on who he ends up sitting next to.

Savannah Louie

Savannah is another huge threat this season, who has an excellent shot of winning the season. While she’s been perceived as a villain at times, she’s a well-rounded player. Like Steven, Savannah has managed to evade elimination on several occasions. She’s also established herself as a challenge threat after winning two immunity challenges. If Savannah gets to the final three, she could very well win the game.

Rizo Velovic

Out of the remaining six players, Rizo arguably has the best chance of winning the game. Rizo is one of the most likable players on the cast and has played a great social game. Strategically, however, Rizo outshines the rest of the cast by a long shot. For weeks, Rizo has had a public immunity idol, but has avoided elimination. This is almost unheard of in Survivor, as players typically want to flush idols immediately. The fact that Rizo has been able to hold onto his idol so long could be enough to help win the game. To add to his resume, Rizo has been the driving force behind several blindsides, which could also help him secure the win.

Em uma segunda gravação, Eli mostrou a preocupação da pequena com o lanche. "Precisa de uma fruta para comer", disse a futura aluna, ao ter o pedido atendido com uma banana para colocar na lancheira. "Ela só pensa em comer [risos]. Ensinamos para ela que tem hora do lanche e ela só quer saber dessa parte", brincou o pai.
Em entrevista recente ao gshow, Eliezer falou da expectativa para, em breve, oficializar a união com Viih Tube, com quem divide a vida desde 2022 e é pai de duas crianças.
"Eu estou superfeliz que, finalmente, a gente vai casar. A gente vive como casado, mas a gente não é casado no papel, né? A gente tem uma união estável. Então, a gente vai casar realmente", explicou ele.
"Não vai ser festão no quesito quantidade de pessoas, tipo mil pessoas, não, não vai ser. Os convidados vão ser realmente só quem esteve com a gente. Mas vai ser um festão do nosso jeito", garantiu.

Tudo começou em uma entrevista ao podcast Bonita de Pele, quando a ex-BBB afirmou que "não estava dando conta" de se entregar à carreira musical. Agora, nas redes sociais, Juliette explicou aos fãs que não pretende exatamente deixar a carreira como cantora de lado.
"Eu já falei isso inúmeras vezes, só que, dessa vez, pareceu [que] ''Juliette deu pausa na música'. De fato, não é isso", disse.

During a recent episode of her podcast, Turning the Tables, Teresa shared that she reached out to her cousins, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri. Kathy and her husband, Rich Wakile, and their two children appeared on Seasons 2 through 7 of RHONJ. Meanwhile, Rosie was a fan favorite in a guest role.

“I mean, my brother’s like my only family, besides Kathy and Rosie, in New Jersey,” Teresa explained. “Like, that’s the only family I have.” She continued, “So, did I want to make up with my brother? Yes. He’s my blood, you know. I mean, I did reach out to Kathy, too. She was very nice,” Teresa added. That is curious, as there were rumors that Teresa allegedly attempted to make up with Kathy, instead of Melissa, to secure her job on RHONJ.

Still, it is great to hear that this family is making amends. “Her daughter’s having a baby, so I was so happy for her. It was very nice, and then Kathy sent a beautiful text to both of us, to me and my brother, saying, ‘I’m so happy you guys made up,'” Teresa stated.
