Here’s Which RHONJ Stars Would Pair Well in Couples Therapy

There is no shame in admitting you need a little help every now and then. Especially when it comes to communicating with your peers, perhaps this is why the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast could benefit from a little Psych 101. Season 14 has shown the women at a major crossroads. There is a lot to work on between communication breakdowns and physical fighting. It often feels like the ladies of the Garden State are yelling at the top of their lungs in hopes that anyone will validate their feelings. Where is Fraiser Crane with his famous motto “I’m listening” when you need him? Here’s who I think would benefit from a moment on the couch from RHONJ.

RHONJ Couples Therapy #1 – Rachel Fuda/Tre Giudice

We’ve already seen one sit-down between Rachel Fuda and Teresa Giudice go terribly wrong. The two mothers met up to try and work out their differences when, in all reality, Tre just needed to apologize for running her mouth. The chit-chat led to a walkout, and nothing was resolved. If Tre and Rachel were to sit down, I feel as if their therapist might explain the meaning behind the Behavioral Theory.

This theory explains that human behavior is learned and shaped by environmental stimuli. I would argue Rachel learned to fight with Teresa because of Teresa. For seasons, the mother of four has been acting out, and it was only a matter of time before someone picked up on those personality traits.

Any therapist worth their hourly pay would also try to explain to Tre that she was in the wrong for spreading such devastating slander about Rachel’s husband, John Fuda, and his history with drugs in the past. I would wager that the therapist might conclude that Teresa has narcissistic tendencies and thinks very highly of herself, often forgetting to think of others in her path.

RHONJ Couples Therapy #2 – Margaret Josephs/Jackie Goldschneider

It is hard to watch Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider interact nowadays because they used to be such good friends. But before Season 14, these two women were close confidants. However, with Marge’s recent villain move, I don’t know how the two will ever bounce back. Jackie has been giving everyone whiplash, especially after revealing she was no friends with Tre, Marge’s arch nemesis. Honestly, Jackie has been insufferable this entire season, leaving Marge with few options.

After talking out of both sides of her mouth, Jackie found herself in deep waters with Dolores Catania when Marge forwarded screenshots of some pretty nasty things the lawyer had said. It very much feels like Jackie is going through an identity crisis. It feels like she wants to be in the cool group so badly that she forgets who her real friends are. Maybe the famed Erik Erikson could help these two get their egos in check.

RHONJ Couples Therapy #3 – Jenn Fessler/Margaret Josephs

Jennifer Fessler says Margaret Josephs never asked her to leave #RHONJ in the event of Louie Ruelas’ return while Jackie Goldschneifer reveals… ?

Jenn Fessler and Marge were best friends for years before the show. But leave it to a reality TV series and some fame to change all that. The main crux of the issue is Teresa. The OG is always the nucleus of almost every problem. After Marge’s son was allegedly threatened at his palace of work, the blonde in pigtails cut all ties with Tre. At the time Marge was under the impression that her friend had promised never to meet up with Teresa or Luis Ruelas ever again.

But Jenn claimed via ET that wasn’t the case, saying, “Maybe you saw me saying to Margaret, you know, ‘I told you that if you don’t want to be around these people again, neither will I.'” In my opinion, these two should look into Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Both are motivated to keep their fame train rolling, but at what cost? If these two former friends were in therapy together, they would be told to prioritize their safety, security, and self-esteem. Right now, both are trying to survive in the harsh climate of reality TV, and it is tearing them apart.

RHONJ Couples Therapy #4 – Joe Gorga/Luis Ruelas

All Joe Gorga wanted was a brother-in-law he could get along with. Sadly, he got stuck with Luis, the second coming of Joe Giudice. Both these fathers have extreme issues with needing to be the alpha male when they should have the sigma male mentality. As alphas, Joe and Luis are assertive and the epitome of masculine who thrive in a competitive environment. But this same competitive environment is probably what has them butting heads. Alpha males love having a sense of power.

While Sigmas are mentally strong, assertive, and confident, these types of men often inspire those around them. The main issue is that Joe has been burned too many times by Luis, and he no longer trusts him. I think that to have these two men make up, we would need all the best therapists to work with them at once, and even then, it would be a long shot.

The Real Housewives: 100 Best Moments Ever (50-41)

The Real Housewives franchise is one of a kind when it comes to reality television. Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 recently made history as the 100th Real Housewives season. Given this huge accomplishment, we have compiled 100 of the franchise’s most iconic moments. Continuing down the list, here are moments 50-41!

50. “Downward spiral like Anna Nicole Smith” – Real Housewives of New York

Our first moment is from Real Housewives of New York Season 6. During a heated conversation, Heather Thomson lost her patience with Aviva Drescher and her controversial comments. To defend Sonja Morgan, Heather exclaimed “You said Sonja was on a downward spiral like Anna Nicole Smith”. Anna Nicole Smith was an actress and model before she tragically passed away from a drug overdose.

In response to Heather’s statement, Aviva claimed that her comment had been a compliment towards Sonja. Heather then nailed it by replying “She died Aviva, that is not a compliment”. Oh, Aviva, choose your words more carefully next time, please!

49. Adriana de Moura’s “Spanglish” at the Season 2 reunion – Real Housewives of Miami

Coming in next is one of the funniest moments in Real Housewives of Miami history. During the Season 2 reunion, Adriana de Moura roasted Joanna Krupa and it was pretty hilarious. Adriana explained that she spoke Spanglish and as a result, called Joanna “HO-ANNA”. This was pretty savage of Adriana, and it went on to become one of her most memorable moments on RHOM.

48. Tamra Judge demanding a divorce from Simon Barney – Real Housewives of Orange County

Our next all-time favorite moment is from iconic RHOC star Tamra Judge. During Season 5, Tamra got into a heated argument with her then-husband Simon Barney in the backseat of a car. After Simon accused Tamra of not being there for him and their kids, she exclaimed that she wanted a divorce. Not long after this, Tamra and Simon did end up getting a divorce. Tamra has always cut straight to the point and she never holds back!

47. Sonja Morgan’s dog funeral – Real Housewives of New York

I feel terrible calling this next one of the best Real Housewives moments since it’s so sad. Sonja hosting a funeral for her dog Millou was touching and showed how much she loved him. This was ultimately an important moment in Sonja’s RHONY storyline, as it demonstrated how she never hesitated to be her authentic self. As a dog lover myself, I completely understand where Sonja was coming from here. Dogs deserve the world, and it’s clear that Millou had a wonderful life with Sonja!

46. Mary Cosby’s “Women” Comment – Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Mary Cosby is one of the funniest women on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. One of Mary’s most hilarious moments was when she watched Whitney Rose walk out, following a heated argument. After Whitney was out of earshot, Mary smirked before remarking “Women…”. This was way funnier than Mary probably intended it to be and the look on her face was priceless. The best part is that Mary’s a woman herself, oh the hypocrisy.

45. The second dinner party from hell, Erika Jayne vs Sutton Stracke – Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The Real Housewives franchise has seen more than one disastrous dinner party. Of course, one of these was the dinner hosted by Kathy Hilton during Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11. Erika Jayne had been on edge all night and was emotional over the legal troubles involving her and her husband Tom Girardi. While Erika was snippy with all of the women, she clashed with Sutton Stracke in particular.

Sutton seemed to be the only one who was willing to call Erika out, which was honestly refreshing. Erika’s behavior had been sketchy, and she didn’t seem concerned about the victims of Tom’s embezzlement. After being called out by Sutton, Erika began verbally attacking and cursing at her. Sutton remained fairly calm, but the fight was intense enough to go down in Real Housewives history.

44. Vicki Gunvalson will be sad when someone dies – Real Housewives of Orange County

Another classic Real Housewives moment was RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson worrying about one of her friends dying. While the women were planting trees, Vicki randomly wondered out loud that it was gonna be sad when “one of us dies”. The rest of the group was confused, as Vicki’s comment came out of nowhere. While Vicki wasn’t trying to be funny, this one-liner turned into one of her best moments on RHOC.

43. Kim Richards giving Lisa Rinna the stuffed bunny back – Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Another iconic RHOBH moment was during Season 7 and involved a stuffed bunny of all things. Kim Richards was feuding with Lisa Rinna at the time, who had previously given her a stuffed bunny for her grandson. The bunny seemed to be a genuine gesture from Lisa, but Kim felt otherwise. During the reunion, Kim returned the bunny to Lisa as she didn’t feel it was given to her with “good energy”. I guess no argument is too silly!

42. White House party crashers – Real Housewives of DC

This next moment might actually be the craziest on our list. If you remember Real Housewives of D.C., you know that it only had one season. This was mainly caused by White House “party crashers” Michaele Salahi and her husband Tareq Salahi. At the end of the season, Michaele and Tareq snuck into a White House event that they hadn’t been invited to. When the media found out about this scandal, it understandably erupted into chaos.

41. Kenya Moore’s hair care marching band – Real Housewives of Atlanta

Last, but certainly not least is one of our favorite moments from Real Housewives of Atlanta. After all, who can forget the moment when Kenya Moore turned Marlo Hampton’s wig event into a promotional moment for herself? Kenya went all out, and hired a marching band to crash the event while chanting “Kenya Moore hair care”. This was petty of Kenya, but it will also go down in Real Housewives history as an incredibly iconic moment.

Harry Jowsey’s Worst Moments on Reality TV

Harry Jowsey has had some horrible moments on reality tv.

Netflix star Harry Jowsey made headlines after the Season 2 finale of Perfect Match for his f*ck boy behavior. At the end of the episode, secret footage of him kissing Melinda Melrose was revealed, exposing him as a liar. He denied the kiss in a previous episode, telling his co-stars that Melinda was chasing her 15 minutes of fame. Fans were shocked by the secret footage and blasted Harry on social media for lying to his “perfect match” Jessica Vestal about the kiss.

His recent scandal has a lot of fans re-examining his past behavior on reality television. The 27-year-old has had plenty of face-palm moments throughout the years. Let’s take a look back at some of his worst moments on reality television.

Harry Jowsey Blaming Francesca – Too Hot to Handle

In Season 1 of Too Hot to Handle, Harry and Francesca Farago couldn’t deny their natural chemistry and broke the “no physical contact” rule. The two shared a kiss, which cost the whole group money. Harry didn’t want to own up to the violation, so he blamed the whole thing on Francesca. He told the guys that Francesca was the instigator but in reality, he made the first move. Sigh. She was understandably upset and he looked like a jerk.

Harry Jowsey’s Breakup with Elys – Perfect Match

Before Jess came into the picture, Harry was paired with Too Hot to Handle star Elys Hutchinson. She fell for Harry on night one, ignoring her friend’s warnings. Things went well for a while but after Harry went on a date with Jess, his head was turned. When he returned to the villa, he ignored Elys completely and headed straight to the bar with his buddies. Not a great look dude. Eventually, Elys confronted him and asked for a conversation, which didn’t go well. He dismissed her feelings and told her “If you love something, let it go.” She responded perfectly to the over-the-top comment, telling him, “I’m not in love with you Harry.”

He admitted that he handled the situation poorly on the June 11 episode of his podcast Boyfriend Material.

“I was a little bit drunk,” he said. “We can all agree that I was a bit of a tit…Watching it back, I cringed.” He said that in retrospect, he wished he had been more open and upfront with Elys about how he was feeling.

Harry Jowsey talked about Holly’s sex life – Perfect Match

When Too Hot to Handle star Holly Scarfone entered the Perfect Match villa, Harry celebrated her arrival by revealing intimate information about the villa newbie. In a confessional, he shared that both he and co-star Stevan Ditter slept with her before the show.

Fans felt it was inappropriate of him to reveal private information about Holly on the show. He expressed regret about the comment on his podcast,

“Looking back, absolutely not okay,” he said. “In that moment, I should’ve just kept it to myself…Highly inappropriate. Millions of people are going to see this. Her family is going to see this. I should’ve spoken in a better regard.”

He also cleared up that Holly and Stevan did not sleep together and apologized for the comment.

Harry Jowsey lied about kissing Melinda – Perfect Match

Throughout Perfect Match, Harry continuously professed that he was all in on Jess but that didn’t stop him from making a move on Melinda the second his match wasn’t in earshot. After he and Melinda returned to the main villa, she came clean about the kiss. Harry, desperate to preserve his relationship with Jess, denied the kiss and accused Melinda of lying. Not cool.

He addressed the situation on his podcast, telling listeners he felt pressure from producers to create drama. He also revealed there was no limit on the alcohol, stating he was not in a sober headspace when he kissed Melinda.

“[Producers] tell us, ‘Hey Harry, you need to do something crazy or else we don’t have a show. We hired you because we want you to be this character and you’re not doing that,'” he shared.

He expressed that producer pressure was not an excuse for his behavior but said he felt a certain responsibility to make “good TV.”
