Bethenny Frankel Addresses Dating Married Man And This Week’s Episode of Real Housewives of New York

bethenny

bethenny

Bethenny Frankel is explaining why she’s turned into a chronic bolter this season on The Real Housewives of New York. The reality star took to her blog to give some insight to where her head was at during the insanity of the past few episodes.  And she also touches on that whole “dating a married man” thing.

Bethenny starts, “That argument was insane. I meant it all. I am not a slut shamer. I am a hypocrite and dishonesty shamer.  Many of you noticed that Luann spelled my name incorrectly on her phone. Perhaps I would have been softer on her or forgiven her if she knew how to spell my name after eight years.” Eric(k)a Jayne feels your pain, Bethenny.

She admits in her blog that she fled Dorinda’s in haste and should’ve thanked her. “To say that I couldn’t get out of that house fast enough would be a massive understatement. In a perfect world, I’d want to thank Dorinda for her graciousness but having to see Luann again was the last thing I wanted to do. Carole was right that we had to say goodbye, especially given my exodus at Jules’ house. So that was definitely bitchy.”

And again, bolting because she didn’t want to deal with more confrontations with Lu or Sonja. “Then we’re at Ramona’s party. I really had had my fill. I didn’t want to revisit the situation with Luann. I was genuinely satisfied with her apology, and I believe I made it clear that I wasn’t happy with my delivery. I own my sh–.”

“As far as Sonja, this stupidity caused me unnecessary aggravation. While I didn’t have major animosity for her, I definitely didn’t need any more altercations. I was chock full. I guess I’m always running out of places on this show. Life is too short to hang out where you don’t want to be and to argue with who you don’t want to see. Sorry. My daughter, my best friends and my business are my priorities. Zero F—s on the rest of it.”

“Hopefully my tone settles a little bit. I was under a lot of stress, dealing with a major health issue, and Luann may be right that I was sexually deprived and wound up. Who knows. It was so long ago.”

“I have a soft spot for Luann and most of the Housewives. We have been through work, love and war together, and honestly, none of it matters. We’re healthy, fortunate, beautiful women. I say it in the moment and not behind people’s backs. I left it all on the court, as always.”

She ends with, “This season is our best ever. People are obsessed, and that is because it is real and the truth. The truth does sometimes hurt.”

On Bethenny’s dating life – she Tweeted last night to explain that her new guy – seen here house shopping  – is “married” just like she is still “married” – but legally separated and going through his own divorce.

TELL US – IS BETHENNY RIDICULOUS FOR CONSTANTLY DASHING OFF FROM EVERY EVENT/GET-TOGETHER THIS SEASON? OR WOULD YOU DO THE SAME IN HER SITUATION?

Heather Dishes On Her Book, Her House, Botched, And RHOC On Heather Dubrow’s World

Heather talks Botched Post Op on Heather Dubrow's World

Heather talks Botched Post Op on Heather Dubrow's World

This week on Heather Dubrow’s World, Heather Dubrow gave fans an update on her new book, announced the return of Botched: Post Op, talked (almost) moving into her shopping mall new house, and more.

A few announcements: Heather reveals she is singing the National Anthem at Angel Stadium on July 20th. She says it is on her bucket list but admits she is really nervous. Also, Terry and Heather’s new book, Dr. and Mrs. Guinea Pig Present The Only Guide You’ll Ever Need to the Best Anti-Aging Treatments, is available for pre-order on Amazon. The book comes out September 6th, and in case you were wondering, there will be a book tour. So, prepare yourselves for a whole lot of Dr. and Mrs. Guinea Pig come September. 😉

CLICK CONTINUE READING FOR MORE!

Heather ecstatically announces that Botched: Post Op returns August 9th. She will return as host, of course, and it will once again feature the docs, Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif, as well as fan favorites and behind the scenes stuff from Botched and Botched By Nature.

Next up, Heather reminds us about the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8 Uncensored special that airs Monday, June 13th, one week ahead of the Season 11 premiere.

“It’s crazy and amazing,” says Heather. “It’s cool because it’s not just behind the scenes. The fourth wall is totally broken. We get to talk about producers and what really happened behind the scenes.” Heather previously said someone from Season 8 – Gretchen Rossi? Alexis Bellino? Lydia McLaughlin? – will be outed as being fired for self-producing her own story lines.

Heather shares that they have finally moved out of their rental home…into a hotel. Ha. The 20,000 square-foot monstrosity that is Chateau Dubrow isn’t quite ready yet, but Heather’s still happy to be out of the rental. “It’s kind of like a relationship that you’re in that you know really isn’t right for you and you’re just kinda hanging on – waiting – and it disintegrates at exactly the right time to where you really really hate it.”

Moving out was a whirlwind, “It’s a holiday weekend, we’re moving out, it’s the final party for Real Housewives of Orange County – we, Terry and I, literally got dressed for the party, I put my makeup in the suitcase, we zipped it shut, we put it in the car (the kids were already gone at the hotel), and we went to the party.”

Heather teases that the finale party was “interesting,” laughing, “You’ll have to wait and watch on that one.” After the party, “We went to the hotel that we hadn’t been to yet – there was just luggage there. I opened the suitcase, found some pajamas, and went to bed. I woke up at 3 a.m. and was like, ‘Where am I? How did I get here?'”

About the house, and the sneak peeks she’s shown on social media, Heather admits her new closet (which is probably as big as the whole first floor of my house) is too big. So, she will have to shop to fill the empty space, but ugh! she hates shopping! #richpeopleproblems

Heather goes on to say that no matter what she does – leaves the empty space, fills it up, shows off the house, doesn’t show off the house – the people on social media will complain. Especially about having too much stuff and giving some to charity. Heather’s assistant chimes in, “If they only knew how much you give.”

“I don’t feel the need to tell everyone how much I give to charity,” says Heather. “I’m just going to assume that you understand that Terry and I are good people. We work hard and we are real grateful for everything that we have and we give back in a big big way. I just don’t feel the need to show everyone what we are doing. Then that is just showing you what we are doing. We are very confident in how we give back.”

Heather bemoans moving “like 12 times in the last 15 years” but gives her kids credit for rolling with the punches.

Terry drags us around,” jokes Heather. “We’re just moving in, the furniture is in, we’re living in a hotel, trying to wrap everything up in the house – and in the middle of doing all this, Terry texted me yesterday and wanted to know if the real estate agent could come over to show someone the house. I’m not kidding you. Dead serious. I said, ‘Are you out of your mind? We’re not even in yet and you want me to be out?'”

“We are moving in. I have spent three years designing and building this house. We are moving into this house. I almost went insane. I called him, and he goes, ‘I got it. I got it. I got it.’ I go, ‘I want to just be clear so there’s no miscommunication – we’re moving in; we’re not selling the house; no real estate agents are coming in.'”

Heather says she would like to stay in one place for at least five years, adding, “I wouldn’t mind staying in this house until the three older kids graduation high school. How long is that…nine years…he will never stay nine years. That is too long for Terry. He’s a nomad. He’s a wanderer.”

Ramona Singer Has A Lot To Say About Not Trusting Luann de Lesseps Around Men

Ramona and Luann

Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps

I have been watching Real Housewives of New York since the show started. So I am still in shock by the evolution of Luann de Lesseps as a character on this show. I know these are real people and not characters, but I just couldn’t imagine someone who initially was so stuck in her prim and proper image being the one who has to defend herself from man-stealing accusations and debatable slut shaming. One of the women who has no trouble slamming Luann is Ramona Singer.

Even though Ramona was (attempting to be) the peacemaker during the ladies trip to the Berkshires, she has no problem coming for Luann in her blog and backing up Bethenny Frankel’s words from the nasty fight she had with Luann. Not only does Ramona agree that the women can’t leave their men around Luann, but she also cites multiple examples to bolster her claims.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE

Although it was sort of unclear whose side Ramona was on when I watched the show, Ramona really went in on Luann in her Bravo blog. Ramona wrote, “Luann, though, tends to lie and is not forthcoming. We all know this, and that’s why Bethenny lost it on Luann.” Well so much for that countess etiquette… at least according to Ramona.

I can’t help wondering if Ramona is just going against Luann since she got with a guy that Ramona previously dated, but Ramona was more definitive about her issue with Luann when she wrote: “Luann knew I was dating Tom [D’Agostino] as she told me she saw the article in the press.” Watching these episodes, it seems like Luann goes back and forth about whether or not she knew about Tom and Ramona previously being a thing. Sometimes she acts like it didn’t matter and others she acts like she honestly had no clue.

Then Ramona hit Luann where it hurts and cited her own girl code mantra (in a nod to Luann’s admittedly catchy song): “Since Luann and I are supposed to be friends, there is no reason in the world she could not have told me she was dating Tom. I could care less she was dating him but thought it was disrespectful not to mention it. So much for girl code.” Whether Ramona actually has hard feelings or not about Tom and Luann dating, she really does have a valid point about the situation.

But then the blog entry really got juicy and Ramona dished on the dirt that didn’t make the show- and my jaw dropped when Ramona gave multiple examples about Luann (allegedly) going after women’s men:  “A year ago I was speaking to a man at the bar of a restaurant in NYC. He later came to the table and sat next to me conversing with me exclusively for an hour. When I came back from the ladies’ room, Luann was snuggled up to him and refused to move. I just climbed over the booth and pushed her away, LOL.”  This is something that I wish happened in front of the Bravo cameras. It would have been TV gold- for sure.

Then Ramona decided to kill two birds with one stone and throw her recent frienemy Sonja Morgan into the controversy when she wrote: “Sonja has tons  of stories of how Luann would be with the men Sonja was with…” OMG. THIS is the show that I want to watch. Why can’t the camera crew follow these ladies around all the time?

Ramona wasn’t done though. She kept going and I am still in awe from her claims: “As far as Luann goes, everyone is open game, whether they are married or not. Luann has kissed married men, and everyone has witnessed this. The most notorious was when she was still married and attended the Rome wedding in Southampton, which was reported by New York Magazine. She kissed a woman’s husband in front of his wife and actually said to the wife,  ‘Get over it’ when the wife asked what Luann was doing.” Again- this would have been amazing footage for the show. I wish this stuff was recorded. I cannot handle it.

And Ramona threw another housewife into the mix with her next example about Luann’s alleged man stealing: “Bethenny had a date at the wedding. We told Luann he was wealthy and next thing you know she was all over him and grabbing his crotch on the dance floor.” Oh my god. I can’t even imagine the Countess grabbing someone like that in public- but I guess my mind is just stuck back in season 1.

I wonder how Luann is going to react when she catches wind of this blog. I am just dying to know if any of this is true. Ramona did not hold back- at all.

Yolanda Hadid Awarded Lifetime Achievement Award For Advocacy of Chronic Lyme Disease; Says She’ll Prove Chronic Lyme Exists In Her New Book

Reality TV Stars - Yolanda Foster IV Selfie

Reality TV Stars - Yolanda Foster IV Selfie

On the heels of her book title and cover reveal, Yolanda Foster has been honored with another award for her efforts to bring awareness about chronic Lyme disease. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award by ProHealth, Inc.

The founder of the company shared in a press release, “We’re honored to award Yolanda Hadid with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her efforts to foster awareness about chronic Lyme disease and for her courage and willingness to share her story publicly, as she also battles to recover from Lyme.”

Yolanda gave a long and interesting interview to ProHealth, Inc writer Connie Strasheim. A few excerpts are below and you can read the full interview here. It’s absolutely worth the read. Below Yolanda explains the timeline of her initial diagnosis of Lyme and even claims that her book will prove the existence of chronic Lyme.

Yolanda:  “Before I got sick, I was a hardworking multi-tasking butterfly that could do anything. Nothing was ever too much for me! I was a single mom raising three kids in Santa Barbara. I was a busy bee, always going, 24-7.

Then, I started to have flu-like symptoms that were cyclical; I would have severe joint pain, and it was as if I would get a bad flu every two weeks. But when you are such a high functioning person, as I was, you always find an excuse for the symptoms. I told myself that I was working too hard, or that I was driving too much, or that I wasn’t getting enough sleep—things like that. So I went through a whole denial stage at first.

I went to Germany and tried lamb stem cell therapy, which ended up helping me remarkably. Literally overnight, the joint pain disappeared. But I continued to have severe fatigue, as neurological and brain symptoms started to set in.  For instance, I started to not recognize people, was suddenly bothered by noise and began to have memory issues—that sort of thing. I saw many doctors, all of whom tried to treat the symptoms rather than get to the root cause of what was wrong with me.

I did that for maybe a year before moving to Malibu in 2011, right before I got married. Then, I remember being in the gym one day, getting ready for my wedding, and all of a sudden I realized that I couldn’t do one more push-up. I looked at my husband-to-be (David Foster) and said, “You know what? I’m done. I can’t work out one more day.” Five years have passed, and I haven’t been to the gym or worked out like that since.

In the meantime, while I was in Malibu, I continued to see doctors but everyone around me was saying things like, “You are (feeling badly because) you’re doing too much; between getting ready for your wedding, doing your show in Holland, and so on…you are overworked.” But I knew this wasn’t true, because I used to thrive on that kind of lifestyle. I told them, “That’s not what is wrong with me.”

The doctors at that time gave me a whole rundown of antidepressants and medications; things like Ritalin and Adderal, to try to speed up and improve my brain function, but none of their treatments resonated with me or made me feel better. Yet I knew something was really wrong, because I would get circles, or rings, under my eyes every 3-4 weeks that would come and go. I would tell the doctors that it was as if something like a bacteria, was growing in my brain. But the doctors would tell me that I was wrong.

At times, I would go to the hospital with severe migraines, but the doctors would always just send me back home and tell me that I had chronic fatigue syndrome.  However, I knew that because of the cyclical symptoms that I had, that it wasn’t chronic fatigue syndrome; that there was something in my brain that was causing symptoms to come and go.

Then I went to Belgium to see one of the top chronic fatigue syndrome specialists in Europe, and he ran some tests on me. Six weeks later, he called me and said, “You have chronic neurological Lyme disease. You need to get a port and start intravenous antibiotic therapy.” And that’s where my healing journey really began. This was in 2012.

At the time, I didn’t know much about the difficult detoxification reactions that could happen with intravenous antibiotic treatment. These reactions occur when microbes die in the body and release neurotoxins into the bloodstream. If I had known then what I know now, I’m sure it would have been a totally different experience for me (because I could have prepared for those reactions).

Once I started the antibiotics though, it was as if my body just shut down. I would be sweating on bathroom floor, feverish, sick, and in the end, the medications didn’t really get me much better. And, as I started researching—and I’m a pretty matter of fact kind of person—I realized that there is no cure for Lyme.

Once I really started educating myself about it, I thought, okay (the research shows that) they can’t kill Lyme in a test tube, which means that popping antibiotics for long periods of time doesn’t make sense. Doing antibiotic therapy never really felt right to me, anyway.”

On her current health status, “I’ve pretty much traveled the world and exhausted every possibility of being able to figure this disease out. In the end, I took the road of “underground medicine” and studied and tried just about any and every (treatment) out there outside of conventional medicine that I thought could rebuild my body and make my immune system better. Those were a crazy five years, but now, I’m pretty stable compared to where I once was.”

“I continue to see a renowned integrative Lyme specialist, Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD, every six weeks, for treatment. I also have a health advocate who works with me daily. I do a variety of treatments to eliminate the infections and rebuild my body; drips, shots, homeopathy, low-dose immunotherapy—many different things. I feel that if I keep hitting the infections from different angles that it will be beneficial and I hope and pray that one day, I will just wake up and be ready to get on with my life.”

On her book: “I am writing a book right now about my healing journey. This book is backed up with facts, research, lab tests, DNA testing, etc.—proving the existence of chronic Lyme disease.  I continue to travel a very smart and intelligent journey because I’m neurotic about keeping records, test results, etc.” She adds, “It’s hard to wrap your mind around how big this disease is, though. Fortunately, I think I am about 70% of the way in my healing journey. What that means is that I have good and bad days. On the good days, I have maybe 4-5 hours where I can function, and the rest of the day I rest. I just keep on with my treatments, hoping that one day I will wake up and be better.”

Connie asks about the cancer comparisons:  I have interviewed over 100 integrative Lyme disease and cancer doctors and those who treat both conditions will sometimes tell me that Lyme is just as serious and damaging to the body as cancer (sometimes even more so), and that the treatment regimens for Lyme can be even more complex. What do you think, based on the treatments you’ve received?

Yolanda: “I think that all of these diseases are bad. I never like to compare though; this is not a race, and I’m not in this to say that Lyme is worse than cancer, and I can’t give an opinion about it because I’ve never had cancer. But Lyme disease is definitely a struggle. This is not an illness for “pussies,” that’s for sure.”

“On my worst days, I sometimes think, I wish I had cancer because at least then I would understand it. I would know what to do. I would treat the cancer and then rebuild and rejuvenate my organs, and it would have an end. With this disease, there seems to be no end. It’s a trial and error disease. I pray every day that one day things will all just fall into place. But it’s not as clear of a journey as being diagnosed with cancer. That’s just a fact.”

Yolanda on the impact she’s made on others: “Honestly, I don’t really know. I live under a rock. I’ve tried to keep my job these last four years, but besides that, I don’t really have a normal, functional social life or anything. So I’m not really “out there.” But when I do get out—for instance, last night I went to the book signing for Ally Hilfiger’s new book—I realize how much impact I make on people. Because people who are crying and desperate will come up to me and thank me for sharing my story, so those are the moments when I will say to myself, Okay, I know why I’m doing this, so I need to stay focused and take this journey until the end. I have the power to take it to the finish line.   So it’s in those moments that I realize the impact that I can make upon the lives of others with Lyme disease. Last night at the book signing, a young girl came up to me, and hugged me and said, “You know, because of watching you on TV, I now know what’s wrong with me, and I have been able to get the right diagnosis and treatment. I’ve been sick for half my life, but it hadn’t been for you, I would not have known I had Lyme.” These are inspiring moments for me, along with the thousands of emails and letters that I receive daily.  When I look at all of these things, I realize that I need to keep going to get well, to be able to help others.”

On Bella and Anwar: “They are doing good. They are also under the care of Dr. Klinghardt. Looking at them keeps me extra motivated every day. They are young, and much more resilient than I am, fortunately.”

On what keeps her motivated: “When I get words of ignorance from the world, it makes me stronger and just creates in me a desire to fight harder.  I feel very strongly that God gave me the gift of being able to deal with all of the adversity, criticism and nonsense around me. It doesn’t make me angry. Somehow, I have the ability to just let it roll of my back and keep trekking forward.”

“If I could be remembered for anything, it would be that I was able to help find a cure for Lyme. I also want to be known as someone who gives hope to others.”

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON YOLANDA’S INTERVIEW?

The full press release about her award:

CARPINTERIA, Calif., June 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Yolanda (Foster) Hadid may be best known as the star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but her advocacy for the chronic Lyme disease community deserves as much recognition. To that end, ProHealth, Inc. is giving the Dutch-American actress and model a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award. Connie Strasheim – editor of ProHealth’s Lyme disease page and author of four books on the subject – interviewed Hadid to learn more about her five-year journey with this chronic and debilitating condition.

“We’re honored to award Yolanda Hadid with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her efforts to foster awareness about chronic Lyme disease,” says ProHealth Founder Rich Carson, “and for her courage and willingness to share her story publicly, as she also battles to recover from Lyme.”

Hadid’s story began with a string of misdiagnoses and inappropriate treatments. Even when Lyme disease was finally identified, the standard treatment left her feeling even worse. That’s when she turned to alternative solutions. Today, her treatment regimen provides her with the best quality of life she has experienced since before her illness. Sadly, two of her children have been diagnosed with Lyme – an unfortunately common occurrence with this disease.

Each year in the U.S. alone, there are about 300,000 new cases of Lyme disease, and millions worldwide battle the disease. Lyme is indeed a pandemic, yet it doesn’t receive the attention warranted by the numbers.

Diagnosing Lyme disease is challenging because it mimics other chronic diseases like Parkinson’s, ALS, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Many bacterial strains have yet to be identified, and testing is often inaccurate. Relatively modest research funding compounds these challenges.

Hadid intends to flip the script on Lyme disease funding and research. Despite her symptoms, she continues to work diligently to be a voice for the millions who don’t have one. She has participated in charity fundraising events, including Stand4Lyme’s Catalyst 4 The Cure concert and the Lyme Research Alliance 2015 gala. Her goal is to raise awareness today, while laying the groundwork for a cure tomorrow.

“If I could be remembered for anything, it would be that I was able to help find a cure for Lyme,” says Hadid. “I also want to be known as someone who gives hope to others.”

Sonja Morgan Thinks Dorinda Medley Loves Being In The Center Of Drama

rhony-sonja

Sonja and the ladies

Say what you want about Sonja Morgan and her attempted business ventures, but you have to admit that she is very endearing. Sonja might lack some etiquette in certain business and social situations, but Sonja has never ever been a mean girl. Sure, she has offended some people, but she was never malicious. And that is why I can’t help feeling bad that Sonja is left out a lot this season on Real Housewives of New York.

Dorinda Medley purposely didn’t invite Sonja to the Berkshires because she said she wanted to prevent drama, but it really just hurt her feelings and there was a shit storm of drama anyway (as per usual). And Sonja is still understandably miffed by the whole thing.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE

Poor Sonja. It always sucks to feel excluded and I’m sure that especially burns to be left out of a social gathering when its being taped for a reality television show. So even though Sonja wasn’t even present for that weird Berkshires holiday party, she did write about it in her Bravo blog entry.

In fact she opened the entry with this gem: “Like I couldn’t play a game of twister with Dorinda and Jules [Wainstein]? That would have been fun! I miss heart to hearts with Carole [Radiziwill]  too.” Right, I’m sure Sonja is a huge fan of Twister…. I can’t tell if she feels left out of playing that game or if she’s upset to be in less of the episode if I’m being honest.

She also defended her comments about Luann de Lesseps‘s dating life: “BTW I never said Lu was bringing guys back to the house. Not sure where that rumor started. Probably Ramona [Singer] put that in Bethenny‘s ear like she did the garbage about me, my partying and my businesses since I haven’t seen B. And now Ramona and Dorinda are making sure of that.” What does Dorinda have to do with anything? I’ve never ever seen Dorinda gossiping about anyone. Unless Sonja is saying that Ramona gossiping about her is Dorinda’s fault since she excluded her from the holiday party… because that is A MAJOR stretch. I really get that Sonja is hurt because I would be too, but she just needs to let it go. You can’t invite everyone to everything.

Then Sonja explains that she feels the drama would not have gone down if she was present: “If I were there, no one would be going to bed early. I could have defended myself and some other friends. I’m used to it and always find a way to lighten things up.  It would have been a paaaartay!” No offense to Sonja, but I’m sure the shit was going to hit the fan regardless. I’m sure Sonja would have added some much-need comic relief, but Dorinda’s parties always doomed.

And Sonja just won’t let up about the rescinded invitation: “Now you know it was all disingenuous, the ‘concern’ for me, or they would have had me near.” I honestly agree with her. I don’t think that a good friend would push someone away if they are going through hard times.  A good friend would want her around to help keep Sonja in good spirits. Instead, they just hurt Sonja for some bullshit reason. SMH.

And just in case Sonja’s feelings were not clear enough, she was pretty blatant when she wrote, “Dorinda saying she wanted a weekend bringing out the best in each other is so fake again. She knows us by now, and she loves being in the center of the drama.” Oh shit. I have to assume that Twitter war is on the way since that’s how Dorinda tends to roll.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK DORINDA LOVES TO BE IN THE CENTER OF DRAMA?

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: Get Off Luann’s Jock!

Bethenny and Carole argue with Luann

Bethenny and Carole argue with Luann

Yeah, I’m just gonna admit it – I didn’t want to write this Real Housewives Of New York recap. I had to rally and force myself, because last night was just so icky, fake, mean, desperate, and scheming. I wish for Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel to take a good, hard, long inventory of their lives before they judge one more person.  That display last night was, again, all kinds of hypocrisy and person-shaming, and lady bashing. I don’t care how much they boast about how it was one of the greatest episodes of all time – it wasn’t, in my opinion. So it’s round two of Get Crass With The Countess.

Bethenny and Carole have a problem with Luann de Lessep. After Bethenny proceeded to call Luann every name in the Burn Book, and complain about her to all the other ladies behind her back, Luann is in the kitchen venting to Dorinda Medley that she doesn’t understand Bethenny’s motivation. Bethenny storms in – wearing a droopy ass onesie (’cause nothing screams ‘mature person who has the right to lecture others!’ like wearing an adult-sized version of kiddie PJs!) – to ream Luann out again, because it’s obvious that Luann sent her an insincere apology text, because someone can’t be sorry for their portion of a disagreement and still upset by the other person’s disgustingly outsized over-reaction to it.

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

Luann

Bethenny is now pissed that Luann remains a hypocrite and didn’t learn anything after the first time Bethenny verbally assaulted her 2 hours prior. Did you know Luann still can’t own her shit! Also she better never let the words Skinnygirl cross her lips again, unless of course she’s promoting the wonders of Skinnygirl and extolling its FABULOUS pro-women, all around awesome creator Bethenny. That was SAAAAAAARCAAAASM, people.

The entire second time Bethenny was ripping Luann a new-new one – before Luann could even adjust to the first new one –  about how Luann steals people’s men, is a bad friend, judges others, should read the tabloids for the gossip about Ramona Singer‘s love life, and how everyone says she’s untrustworthy, I was just willing Luann to snap, “Yeah, but Bethenny, wasn’t it just in the tabloids that you were having an affair with a married man? Should I believe that? Cause that would imply that YOU also sleep with married men. Now get off my jock and my hair!” Cause that would have been righteous and awesome! Instead what Luann said was, “That’s not what people think – that’s what YOU think. And Carole.”

Instead Luann actually cries – she leaves the room to dab away tears, and at that moment my husband walked into the room and said, “Luann’s a$$ looks great in those jeans.”

Bethenny

To fuel their arguments that Luann is a man-stealing hussy, Carole and Bethenny actually claim that Sonja Morgan told them about it. Luann snapped, “But isn’t Sonja a liar?” Because isn’t that what Bethenny loves to tell everyone?

Oh, and Carole wants a 400th apology over Luann calling her pedophile. Exactly when did this happen? Someone please illuminate me because, I have heard 3 different accounts from Carole (it was on twitter, it was on the reunion, it was at Kristen Taekman’s denim and diamonds fundraiser), and I don’t recall. Since it is my profession to micro-analyze the lives of Housewives on and off camera, and even behind the scenes from the plethora of ‘sources’ who come to us with information we do not reveal, yet I have never seen proof of this “pedophile” comment. If Luann said it, then yes – gross, and absolutely she owes Carole a sincere apology, however Carole needs to figure out a way to either accept one of these apologies, or accept that Luann’s not sorry and she should get over it especially since she claims to be happy in love with Adam and doesn’t even LIKE Luann!

Also, Carole (and Bethenny) are being intentionally obtuse: Luann never had a problem with Carole dating younger men – she had a problem with Carole dating her niece’s reportedly NOT ex-boyfriend, hiding and lying about it, and then acting like she had done absolutely nothing wrong, but Carole is awfully defensive for someone who is the paragon of virtue.

Twister!

Meanwhile, Dorinda and Jules Wainstein decide that playing Twister is far superior than observing more of this f–ked up nonsense. Apt choice since it was a truly twisted evening

I truly don’t think Luann cares what these women think, but I do think she’s aware that there is something greater at play here then merely embarrassing her; there is an ulterior motive. Of course, the mention of Sonja had to then include a rampage about how “laughable” it is that Luann would be claiming to mentor Sonja. Luann clarified she’s worried about Sonja who is unhappy, and lonely, and making bad choices, and AS A FRIEND, she wants to help.

But because Bethenny only cares about Bethenny she rants and raves about the Skinnygirl/Tipsy Girl mess, not about having concern for Sonja. Dorinda decides it’s time to serve the lasagna because presumably if Bethenny has food stuffed in her mouth she won’t be talking.

Finally Santa shows up to hand out engraved wine glasses. Poor Dorinda – she tried so hard and it was all in vain an Bethenny truly felt not one qualm about ruining the party.  Luann joked that hers should say “Slut” or “Whore” and Carole storms away from the table because she can’t handle this kind of fakery. Oh puh-leaze. Now go Skype Adam and whine to your disinterested man-child about how the mean girls are making you cry. And don’t forget to make excuses for Bethenny!

Carole fleeing promoted another round of “Anything The Countess Does Is The WORST Thing Ever.” Did you know that Luann let her dog poop all over Dorinda’s house? And that Luann put barf in the kosher lasagna. And it’s all Luann’s fault that Bethenny’s marriage ended – cause Luann totally stole Jason and had her way with him right on the Skinnygirl buffet! This time Bethenny uses Ramona to illustrate how Luann nabbed Tom. Ramona tries to have a moment with the Countess about her attention-seeking man-eating, but Luann just brings up the time Ramona tried to get all the menz eyes on her macrame. Bethenny shrieks that it’s not about Ramona – it’s about Luann being awful and not getting it. Luann looks drained, Ramona looks exhausted, Bethenny looks as unhinged as ever and like she’s worn out from being the selfless tyrant forcing the will upon the people who don’t realize they needed it.

Worse, Bethenny keeps apologizing to Luann by saying thing like, “I’m sorry I had to say those things. I’m sorry those words came out of my mouth – I just couldn’t stop. Sorry I acted that way – it was about the Skinnygirl.” [eye-roll] Luann tells her over and over again she misspoke, and was never trying to take credit for Skinnygirl anything – she just happened to e THERE when the moment of Bethenny idea aired on screen. Bethenny never says, “I’m sorry I hurt your feelings.” Don’t worry though – Bethenny likes Luann. She thinks she’s a fun, intelligent, intellectual, and well-cultured punching bag! Someone – either Countess Collection or Skinnygirl needs to market a Housewives punching bag! Look – Luann has many faults: she is elitist, imperious without cause, fake, and bossy, but for the most part she’s hilarious TV and fun, and doesn’t do or say anything outrageously hurtful to the other women. Bethenny is clinging irascibly to slights from 5 seasons ago and still hollering about Luann Countess years. GET OFF LUANN’S JOCK!

Everyone finally goes to bed – it’s only 9:30, but the day was so emotionally exhausting, that not even lasagna could save it. When only Luann and Dorinda remain, Lu lets her guard down and you can feel her shock. She apologizes profusely to Dorinda for everything being ruined and agrees that it was wise to uninvite Sonja

The next morning Bethenny wakes up next to her sycophant Carole and complains about having an “argument hangover.” Carole strokes her arm and her ego, and they decided to “ghost” by fleeing without saying good-bye. Someone needs Class With The Countess!

They rush-packed, shoved shoes over their PJs and attempted to sneak out – Bethenny even was rude to the chauffeur. The other ladies are making breakfast (Ramona wearing heels with her nightshirt!) when Luann notices them running out the door. Reluctantly Carole and Bethenny are forced to come back inside and mumble goodbye like they were caught doing the walk of shame. Carole even gives Luann this super long hug. The whole scene is so awkward even the bacon feels soggy.

Back in the city Sonja packed a sad care package for her daughter which included such necessities as already opened snack packs, and something that she guessed was a sex toy (it was a cord keeper). Sonja confesses to her skeleton crew of Team Sonja interns that she was so depressed about missing Dorinda’s that she wore the same clothes for three days. Sonja does need Luann

AD (After-Dorinda’s), Bethenny again requires ego stroking from Carole, who apparently has nothing else to do but mope around alongside Bethenny in drab colors and tell Bethenny how amazing she is. Bethenny and Carole are depressed that Bravo wouldn’t give them their own show, and now they have to attend Ramona’s holiday party where the double-whammy of awful Luann and Sonja will also be.

Ramona - Christmas Party

At Ramona’s party Luann wears a lace-encrusted Countess Collection jumpsuit, and it was not her best look. Ramona is all in white, but don’t let the virginal get-up fool you, because she was practically trying to hump the chef on top of a hot plate. I don’t know if Ramona read like Friendship for Dummies, or The Secret, or has been seeing a counselor for her raging megalopinotmania, but she sits Luann down to request that she officially apologize to Carole – but this time make it sound sincere. All Ramona wants for Christmas is for everyone to get along, and that includes Luann kissing Bethenny and Carole’s flat butts. Luann rolls her eyes but agrees.

Luann apologizes

Bethenny and Carole are huddle on a sofa judging and being boring  when Luann sidles over, plops down, completely ignoring their grimaces. It’s almost like Luann is doing it on purpose. Which would be hilarious. Luann totally knows how uncomfortable she’s making Carolenny, as she dumps a bunch of fake, hollow compliments and apologies into their laps, while smiling and fluffing her hair. Luann visibly ignores Bethenny’s snarls as she describes how happy she is with Tom and that it’s serious. Luann appeared to be beating them at their own game, or I have a serious case of the wishful thinkings!

After Luann’s latest apology, Carole insists she realizes that she and Luann are different people who won’t be friends, but that’s OK. Carole, aged 50, not 15, finally recognized that it’s OK to be civil to people. Imagine that! Real Housewives: Teaching the vital life lessons high school failed to address.

rhony-ramona-dorinda

In less successful redemption schemes, Luann and Ramona have been coaching Sonja on how to approach Bethenny. They want her to promise to drop the Tipsy Girl thing. Apparently Sonja said she would. Sonja arrives, late, and Bethenny immediate stands up to run towards the door. Ramona and Luann want Sonja to chase her down, but Sonja refuses – and good for her! Sonja denies that she agreed to dump Tipsy Girl, and if Bethenny doesn’t want to talk to her, then Sonja is going to force it.

Sonja and the ladies

Carole insists Bethenny doesn’t have hard feelings towards Sonja, it’s just a matter of business. We all know that’s not true, but it was a nice sentiment.

Sonja yells at Dorinda that the right time to approach Bethenny would have been at her house. Her feelings are super wounded over being excluded and ostracized by her friends over one person not wanting her there. Dorinda stands by her decision and a furious Sonja storms out. Luann chases after her, down a back stairwell.

On the stairs, Sonja accuses Luann and Ramona of trying to force her into confronting Bethenny but there’s no point because Bethenny’s feelings were demonstrated when she fled. “Carole says there’s no hard feelings, but what are these – soft boiled?!” she shrills storming down the stairs, leaving Luann standing there mouth agape.

Sonja and Luann

After that everyone bails. Some party. I think the lesson here is – just stop socializing with Bethenny Frankel

Also, after being remiss for weeks, I finally must mention Luann’s new overly-tanned, frosted, and feathered Golden Girls confessional look. Luann was visibly wearing the Housewives version of Tarred and Feathered. Yikes!

TELL US – WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH BETHENNY AND LUANN? DOES BETHENNY OWE LUANN AN APOLOGY? SHOULD SONJA DUMP TIPSY GIRL?

RHOA’s Kenya Moore Is Cooking Up A New Product!

reality TV stars

RHOA Kenya Moore

We all know that being reality stars isn’t enough for most reality stars. They like to see their name and likeness on a bevy of products! This phenomenon goes double for any lady in a housewives franchise and triple if that housewife isn’t actually married.

As y’all are very aware, some of the go-tos are hair extensions, clothing lines, and fruity alcoholic beverages that my college age self would have thought was delicious because, I mean, mango moscato! Of course, the most savvy of housewives knows that the kitchen is the place to be, so it’s no surprise that Kenya Moore is cooking up something for her fans!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star posted the above-picture of herself on Instagram. Apron? Check. Delicious looking treats? Done! That wonderful green screen? You betcha!

Kenya, not surprisingly, wants to keep her fans guessing about the new project. Gotta keep that buzz going on social media, right? The twirling dynamo captioned the photo, “Something up my sleeve…”

Hmm…cookbook? Frozen burrito line (are those tarts or tacos? I can’t tell!)? Whatever it is, Kenya is certainly acing Housewives Hocking 101!

Little Women: NY Recap: Contradictions and Contractions

Little Women: NY recap

Little Women: NY recap

We last saw the Little Women: NY in the midst of some serious baby shower drama. If you weren’t keeping up, an uninvited Lila Call decided her drama desire to be there was more important than an actual invite to frenemy Katie Snyder’s special day. Jessica Capri, who planned the whole thing, was left to try and kick Lila out on her own while Katie was unexpectedly called in by the doctor and thus, missed her own baby shower.

We resume with Jess storming out of her own house and the party she planned, with the shower guests looking on, totally bewildered. Jason Perez does his best to explain to Lila that this is just like the time when he brought Terra Jole to their apartment and Lila threw a hissy fit because she wasn’t invited. Nice try, Jason, but that wilted purple feather covering half of Lila’s head is not going to allow any logic to sink into her brain right now. Dawn Lang tries to jump in but Jason shuts her down immediately as the guests look on. Someone pop some damn popcorn already!

CLICK CONTINUE READING FOR MORE!

Lila argues it’s not the same and tries to deflect the blame on Jess but quickly follows up with saying us little people need to stick together. Jazmin Lang is totally embarrassed at the scene they are making and just when it starts to get even more heated, Jess walks back in and says she will stick it out for Katie, who isn’t even there.

Katie Snyder baby shower

Katie and good for nothing baby daddy, PJ, come back and poor Katie looks exhausted. Jess speaks with Katie privately about the fact that Lila wouldn’t leave and Katie looks like she would just rather just go into labor than deal with this nonsense. Dawn immediately starts in on PJ, condescendingly asking him if he’s ready to be a father and how he’s prepared. How would Dawn know how to prepare anyway? Katie goes over her doctor’s visit and luckily, her baby girl is a healthy weight of 6 pounds, not the 3 pounds they were previously told.

Katie goes about opening her gifts and while she opens Jess’s gag gift, Lila just can’t help herself by picking apart each item. Once done, she pulls Katie aside to give her an apology for being there and for everything else that she has done. Lila was doing well until she tries to throw Jess under the bus again by claiming she is standing between their friendship and drinking Jameson. Katie couldn’t care less but Lila persists in that Jess shouldn’t be drinking around a baby. Katie is still unfazed but I really wish she would just tell Lila to stay in her lane. The premise of Lila being worried to the point of overstepping her bounds is wearing thin.

Little Women: NY recap

The next day, Jason and Jazmin try and discuss what happened with Lila at the baby shower like two normal adults but Lila immediately storms out of her room to yell at them for even talking about it. She swears up and down that Jason’s comparison of Lila being upset over Terra coming uninvited to their pajama jam is TOTALLY different than Lila showing up uninvited at the baby shower. Why? Because Lila cares about baby Kingsley! Jazmin stops the screaming and they go about cleaning. The fight is over for now, but I don’t think we have heard the end of it.

Jason and his boyfriend, DJ, head out to dinner for some much needed alone time. DJ knows that the drama in the apartment is mounting and asks if Jason has thought about moving in with him. Jason isn’t thrilled about this idea, mainly because he feels like Connecticut is just too far. DJ takes it like a grown up and says that he will either have to find a job closer or eventually, Jason will have to figure out the next step. He also points out that Jason might not want to deal with the roomie/friendship drama much longer.

Little Women: NY recap

Katie and PJ go to a newborn care class and we quickly find out that they really don’t have anything purchased or prepared for bringing the baby home. Like, really. The teacher asks them to pick up the baby dolls used for demonstration so they can learn how to hold them. PJ grabs his by the foot and then proceeds to look pretty bored the rest of the class. Katie should take a class on how to deal with deadbeat boyfriends! After class, Katie questions how they are going to pay for everything and PJ just keep mumbling something about how the man upstairs will take care of it all. This doesn’t placate Katie at all and I don’t blame her.

Dawn’s friend Doris is in town and she brings Lila over to meet her. Doris is a paralegal too and Lila shades by guessing how much fun her conversations with Dawn must be. If Lila would just stick to this type of lighthearted shade, I would love her every episode. The talk turns to dating and Lila goes into WAY TOO MUCH detail about her escapades from the night before. Naturally, Dawn has concerns. Sigh… now she has a problem with Lila’s online dating. Is there anything she doesn’t have a concern with?

Little Women: NY recap

Dawn and Lila go out to lunch with Katie’s mom, Kathie. Dawn has been “friends” with Katie since they were young, so she knows Kathie and therefore, justifies their meeting as something that isn’t designed to further insert herself where she doesn’t belong. Kathie doesn’t deny she has worries about PJ but stops short of saying anything outright negative. Lila wants to know how PJ is bringing in money and when she doesn’t get the answer she us looking for, she outright asks Kathie if she is giving them money. Kathie laughs instead of bitch-slapping her. Dawn won’t let up and says she will tell PJ that he needs to get his shit together.

Not sure how and why Kathie is possibly agreeing to this lunacy but she probably doesn’t want to be bothered anymore. I guess if Dawn and Lila are willing to take one for the team, even though it’s completely not their place or even remotely close to their business, then they might as well be the bad guys.

Jazmin and Jess meet up with a trainer in the park to get their sweat on. Once the workout is over, Jess admits that it’s been tough to live with Katie and PJ while they wait for Kingsley to arrive. It’s clear that Jess is legitimately worried about Katie for the right reasons, unlike Lila and Dawn.

Little Women: NY recap

Speaking of, the goon squad of Lila and Dawn meet up with Katie at the laundromat so they can “school her on priorities”. Can these two make it a priority to worry about themselves and not everyone else? Katie hopes they are actually here to help and not piss her off but she quickly finds out that’s not the case.

Dawn starts with PJ not being helpful enough. When Katie defends him, Dawn insinuates that Katie isn’t being honest with herself. Lila interjects with her opinion on safety and then they start in on PJ not having a real job. Katie has had enough, says she is sick of them nitpicking her, and storms out of the laundromat. Lila and Dawn just won’t give her a second to recover and run off after her. Dawn is annoyed that Katie doesn’t want to hear her completely unsolicited advice. Seriously, the nerve. I don’t know where Lila and Dawn get off thinking they can bully a pregnant woman they barely know into listening to their advice and then get mad when she doesn’t want to sit there and listen.

Katie Snyder labor

Katie breaks down and calls her mom – her cramping might be labor and her mom suggests going right to the hospital. Kathie, Jess, and PJ pick up Katie, rush her to the hospital and save her from having to go back and face Lila and Dawn’s firing squad. I’m all for looking out for your friends, but this went way too far.
