Who Won Head of Household on Big Brother Last Night? 8/24/2017

This is the first Big Brother 19 week where almost everyone needs to win the Head of Household competition. For weeks, the Big Brother 19 houseguests have been throwing competitions to each other,  mainly Paul Abrahamian. Now, any of them (except maybe Paul and Raven Walton) could leave in the upcoming Big Brother 19 live eviction.

Big Brother 19 Head of Household

The house is divided into three sets of pairs, and Kevin Schlehuber and Paul as the only players playing as singles. Cleverly, Paul has made himself the third wheel in all those pairs. Therefore, no one will be trying to take Paul out of the game in this upcoming week.

Matt Clines and Raven will be working to evict Jason Dent and Alex Ow. Alex and Jason will be working to take out Matt or Kevin. Josh Martinez and Christmas Abbott will likely lay low because they know that they won’t be anyone’s main or secondary targets this week.

So this Big Brother 19 week basically comes down to Raven and Matt against Alex and Jason. If Paul gets his way, anyone but Jason or Alex would win the Head of Household and take out Jason. This week’s Head of Household competition is all about endurance.

So who out endured everyone in the 9th week of Big Brother 19? Read below to find out.

It was a hotdog themed competition. A few minutes after the Feeds returned, Kevin fell off. Only a couple minutes later Matt dropped too. Josh fell about 10 minutes later. Raven and Paul fell off at the same time. Alex then fell off next.

Jason Dent won this week’s Big Brother 19 Head of Household competition.

Who Was Evicted on Big Brother Last Night? 8/24/2017

Tonight on Big Brother 19 either Mark Jansen or Matt Clines leaves the game. Matt has played a very lowkey Big Brother game, so low that it doesn’t even feel like he’s playing. Matt has spent the majority of his time fraternizing with Raven Walton.

Big Brother 19 Cast

He also has been sucking at competitions, being Paul Abrahamian’s most loyal minion, and claiming complete bewilderness when up against any opposition. Basically he’s been playing a great Big Brother 19 game.

Usually, based on his decent social skills and physical appearance, Matt would be a huge target. If Matt had stayed in the original bro alliance with Cody Nickson and Mark Jansen, his Big Brother fate might have been a lot different. He could be in Mark’s spot.

Mark also ditched the bro alliance once things became complicated. However, his friendship with Jessica Graf and Cody clouded Mark’s judgement; he wanted to continue to be friends with them and also stick with the Paul alliance. In Paul’s Big Brother 19, you are either with Cody or you are with him. There is no both.

Due to Mark’s actions, there was no hope for him in the Big Brother game. He just won enough competitions to stay alive for four weeks. Mark is finally no longer safe, and the house plans to take him out of the game.

Did they succeed? Read below to find out.

MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD. PROCEED WITH CAUTION

Brandi Redmond Discusses The Text Message Debacle With Stephanie Hollman, LeeAnne Locken, & Cary Deuber

brandi rhod

brandi rhod

Even though most of the Real Housewives shows are full of women who solely know each other because they were selected for the same cast, there actually is a true, longtime relationship between Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman. That’s why it is surprising that the main story line from Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dallas so far is the feud between them.

It’s different than the other Housewives beef because they are both clearly hurt, yet they both feel sad that the other person is hurt. There is a realness to this one that isn’t always present. There hasn’t even been that signature Housewives shade throwing for sport. They both actually seem like they want to be friends and resolve the issues even though they are so upset.

It has to be tough for Stephanie and Brandi to relive this whole situation. They’re either cool these days and the episodes are reopening old wounds or they’re still at odds and they’re getting even more upset. No matter how you slice it, it has to be uncomfortable to watch and discuss all of this months later.

In Brandi’s Bravo blog about the last episode, she admitted, “I must say, I was shocked to see Stephanie Hollman mention she started seeing a counselor as a result of our falling out. I am not a mean girl, nor do I condone mean girl behavior. (I do, do humor though). I think that Stephanie overreacted to her counselor and it left me in tears myself.”

She also explained why LeeAnne Locken told Stephanie that Brandi would “check her calendar.” It wasn’t just LeeAnne fulfilling her villain role from last year – there actually is some back story there.

Brandi explained, “There are always two sides to every story and if you will recall, LeeAnne Locken told Stephanie that I needed to check my calendar etc. well this is what I was told when I tried to make things right before I cut her off.” That makes so much more sense now, but it’s apparently easier to just portray LeeAnne the same way she was last season.

She continued, “It is upsetting to me because of watching, I feel like Stephanie wasn’t in tune with me when I was desperately trying. But now the role feels reversed and I’m seeing how much pain she is in. It kills me because I hate seeing her like this, I honestly want to jump through the screen and tell her it can be the same. I’m sorry I didn’t think I could hurt my best friend like this.” The hurt is definitely real here (on both sides). This is not for the show, for sure.

Brandi admitted, “I thought that by her social media and relationship with Cary Deuber, she didn’t need or want me. I went through months of pain and hurting and didn’t feel loved or respected by her and now I have purposely caused this pain and I’m sorry. All I can do is ask myself, how do we meet in the middle, now it hurts, even more, knowing I hurt her.”

Then Brandi addressed the text message drama: “As far as the text, I wasn’t trying to throw Stephanie under the bus, I did, however, feel like if Cary said these things, LeeAnne should be cautious of her relationship with Cary. I didn’t know that they were speaking about Stephanie and I. So watching it makes sense. Stephanie was trying to warn me and I was trying to warn LeeAnne. It’s the circle of caution when it comes to these relationships and you’re not quite sure where you stand. So being honest is the most important thing.”

Brandi wrote, “Having lunch with Cary and her denying saying these words made me feel as if Stephanie might be trying to play me. I know that’s not who Stephanie is but in that moment I just thought she shouldn’t have sent this and put the target on Cary for saying these things. It just felt so intentional and for what reason?”

At this point in the season, Brandi and Stephanie still haven’t had any one-on-one time. Brandi recalled, “However, I was also wanting to see Stephanie and talk but once again, we are around a bunch of bitches. (No pun intended).” Probably not the best setting to resolve a problem.

One person who had no problem addressing her issues in a group setting was LeeAnne. Brandi said, “LeeAnne confronting Stephanie about the text was awkward and hostile. I know LeeAnne knows she can’t treat Stephanie like this, but LeeAnne is pissed and wants her to know. I feel like I made a mistake because of the way that LeeAnne is handling the situation. I should have probably asked how therapy was going before telling her about the text because clearly, she needs to keep going.” Shade thrown. Still, Brandi did show her some love when she wrote, “I do love her as a hot dog though, AMAZING!”

Meghan Edmonds Thinks Peggy Sulahian Was Out Of Line With Tamra Judge

Meghan Edmonds Thinks Peggy Sulahian Was Out Of Line With Tamra Judge

WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE WITH ANDY COHEN -- Episode 14134 -- Pictured: Meghan King Edmonds -- (Photo by: Charles Sykes/Bravo)

Since she’s gotten back into the mix on The Real Housewives Of Orange County, Meghan Edmonds has been carefully aligning herself with Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador – no surprise to anyone. Except, perhaps, to newcomer Peggy Sulahian, who perpetually has no idea what’s going on, nor what show she signed up for.

In her blog this week, Meghan calls Peggy out for sticking her nose into business she knows nothing about, namely anything involving Vicki Gunvalson. Before Meghan breaks that situation down, she takes some time to celebrate positive ventures, including her “personal care line” called The King Collection, by K.Hall Designs. “I’m so passionate about my new collection and all of my work endeavors, so I know exactly how Shannon feels when she is talking about opening up a restaurant. She’s so excited to finally be living out her dream and I can’t wait to see the final outcome!”

Meghan is also happy for Lydia McLaughlin’s Nobleman magazine enterprise, praising the launch party Lydia threw with hubby, Doug McLaughlin. “I know Lydia has put a lot of work into perfecting the magazine, so it was great to see it all come together and be able to help celebrate the launch. The party was beautiful and the spread featuring Peggy and Diko was very classy and chic. And Doug truly knows how to celebrate and spoil Lydia – her birthday celebration was amazing! ”

Yes, Lydia’s birthday was amazing. But one wonders: Does a fledgling magazine about overdressed dudes actually generate enough coin for two fancy cars – plus jewelry and a helicopter, to boot? My Spidey sense is tingling, people. And it’s telling me that old family money is buried somewhere in the cracks of Lydia’s sparkly rainbow!

Now, on to the drama between Peggy and Tamra. Meghan comments, “I couldn’t believe Peggy was still standing behind pinching my lips shut and laughed about it while talking to Tamra! That was one of the worst first impressions I’ve ever encountered, so wouldn’t you want to try to forget that moment, Peggy? Her first impression with Tamra was equally as bad. The two of them had just met that night, so for Peggy to tell Tamra that she’s dwelling on a situation that she doesn’t know anything about is out of line and Tamra had every right to get defensive.”

RELATED: Lydia McLaughlin Will Not Give Up On Vicki Gunvalson & Tamra Judge’s Friendship

Because she’s gotten a lot of heat for her online comments about cancer – and compassion – Meghan takes time in her blog to defend her stance, especially when it comes to Peggy’s choice to have a double mastectomy.

She writes, “I feel that I also need to address that I have been so used to seeing breast cancer in my life (three aunts, my grandma all had breast cancer and my mom a preventative, bilateral mastectomy) that I think I have become slightly numb to hearing about cancer. Overall, my reaction to anything abruptly tragic, cancer or otherwise, is to take a deep breath, assess the situation and try my best to attack it from a factual standpoint. I feel that is one of my greatest strengths, but also a weakness because it masks my deep compassion and often times, brokenness. My defenses go up immediately and at times my reactions may come off misunderstood.”

Another “misunderstood” issue in Meghan’s life, according to her, is the emotional connection she and Jim Edmonds share. Though he basically looks like he wants to give Megan a lip-clip of his own during 99% of their scenes together, Meghan defends that “despite what you see on camera, Jimmy is actually SUCH A SOFTIE…Yes, he’s grumpy and yes, he is great at avoiding anything whenever he’s hungry or stressed (which is often), but I’m madly in love with that grump and he is with me!”

Big Brother 19 Eviction Predictions: Week 8- A Marked Man

On Friday, current Big Brother 19 Head of Household Christmas Abbott set a ‘big’ plan in motion to backdoor Mark Jansen. Christmas and Mark have never really been friends within the game. In fact, they have sort of been rivals throughout Big Brother 19.

Big Brother 19 Mark Jansen and Matt Clines

It all started when former Head of Household Cody Nickson put Christmas on the block. Mark was one of the few houseguests who was unsure if they should vote against her or not. That week, Mark went back and forth about it. Ultimately, he decided to betray Cody and vote to evict Jillian Parker instead of Christmas.

Since then, Christmas and Mark have had a few arguments. It seems like Christmas takes every opportunity to argue with anyone, but especially Mark. Christmas’s Big Brother 19 ride or die happens to be Josh Martinez, who is also one of Mark’s major foes.

It seemed like a no-brainer for Christmas to get rid of Mark this week. When her backdoor plans failed, but he still didn’t win the Power of Veto, she made the move and nominated Mark.

Mark is the safe choice for Christmas and all the current Big Brother 19 houseguests. It creates no waves and leaves everyone happy. Safe moves rarely win Big Brother. However, is anyone at this point, besides Paul, really planning to win?

Big Brother 19 Mark Jansen

We don’t expect anything but the predictable this Big Brother week. Mark Jansen will be evicted by a 6-0 vote. He becomes the third member of the Big Brother 19 jury, joining his former ally and possible friend Cody, and showmance partner Elena Davies.

Teresa Giudice Refutes Divorce Rumors

Teresa

Teresa

As expected, there’s another story circulating about the state of Teresa Giudice’s marriage right after the Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 trailer is released. Once again, a “source”  is claiming (again) that her marriage is in trouble.

At this point this is a headline every few months. Nevertheless, there is never any new information and the source is either anonymous or the infamous Kim D, yet this rumor always makes headlines and Teresa always denies the story.

Teresa refuted the story in an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. She declared, “I am not getting divorced. The truth is I miss my husband and cannot wait for him to come home.” Unfortunately for Teresa and her four daughters that’s going to be a while.

She maintained that they are not on the rocks even though he is in prison “away,” when she said, “We talk everyday on the phone and I go and see him a few times per month. My daughters miss their daddy just as much as I do. We all love him very much.”

Of course this will end up being a major story line next season since Kim D did everything she could to spread rumors that Teresa was cheating on Joe while he was locked up. With that said, it’s probably not a coincidence that this story broke the day after promotion for the next Real Housewives of New Jersey season has began.

Teresa said, “Being apart isn’t easy, it’s not ideal, but it is something that we deal with. We are still a family and we still love each other very much.”

Peggy Sulahian Thinks Tamra Judge Telling Her To “Watch Yourself” Was “Very Rude And Uncalled For”

Tamra Feuds With Peggy

Tamra Feuds With Peggy

Once Tamra Judge realized that new Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Peggy Sulahian was fond of Vicki Gunvalson, she made it clear that Peggy needed to switch sides if they were going to be friends. By that I mean she literally asked, “Do you want to be friends?” during the last episode when she was discussing her drama with Peggy.

Even though Peggy has zero bonds with anyone in the cast coming into this show, she honestly does have a point about them dwelling on the same issues forever and ever. Then again, she clearly hasn’t seen this show since the crux of Real Housewives is drudging up issues from the past over and over again. Not only that, but it’s just such a dicey situation with tough accusations and Peggy has no idea what she’s talking about since she didn’t know any of these people before joining the cast. She didn’t even watch the show beforehand.

Peggy opened up about the last episode in her Bravo blog.

She wrote, “Even though the Sip-and-See was an awkward and intense exchange, I was glad to see Meghan [Edmonds] at the event. I think Meghan and Jimmy [Edmonds] are a sweet couple, but it threw me off when she mentioned him being an ‘a**hole’. I think he’s an amazing guy.” That was an awkward comment to make. Obviously she was lead to answer some questions about Jim during her on-camera interviews and it just looks bad without context, but it just came out of nowhere to the viewers.

Peggy wrote, “At Lydia’s [McLaughlin] Nobleman party, my intention wasn’t to discuss Vicki and Tamra’s past. Tamra volunteered to inform me about the accusations made by Vicki and when I told her that she was dwelling on it, she became very defensive.” It’s basically come to a point where we are stuck watching two different shows that share the same one hour episode: one with Vicki Gunvalson and one without.

Peggy continued, “Her defense turned into attack, while my goal was not to make her feel uncomfortable. Rather, I was trying to tell her that their differences should be left in the past, and no longer be discussed in order to avoid feeling hurt over the lost friendship.”

Peggy wasn’t done discussing that confrontation with Tamra since she also said, “On another note, I don’t appreciate Tamra speaking out of anger and telling me to ‘watch myself.’ I feel that it’s very rude and uncalled for, considering I had no malicious intent by offering my advice.”

Honestly, as annoying as Peggy has been so far this season, she didn’t seem to be mean or a shit stirrer in that scene. Sure, she was speaking on a topic she knows nothing about, but she did just seem like she was trying to have a positive attitude in a very grey situation.

Vanderpump Rules Jax And Brittany Take Kentucky Recap: You Can Take The Boy Out Of L.A.

Jax Taylor & Brittany Cartwright Confirm They're Still Together; Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky Premieres Tonight!

Jax Taylor & Brittany Cartwright Confirm They're Still Together; Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky Premieres Tonight!

For those of you Vanderpumpers who are having withdrawal until the next season, Bravo has the perfect fix in Vanderpump Rules Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky. Try saying that after a few shots of bourbon. But between all the ATV riding, cow poop shoveling, and being sprayed with deer piss, Jax Taylor has a lot more to contend with than just Brittany Cartwright‘s frog leg –eating family grilling him about his marriage plans.

We start at SUR, hipster music blaring and lights dimmed, watching Brittany serve tables and Jax mix up some Pumptinis. I would be lying if I didn’t say that this was making me miss Vanderpump Rules even more. Lisa Vanderpump swans in, leather jacket clad and questioning if Jax and Brittany have their shifts covered for their vacation. OK, but can we not pretend they actually have to get their shifts covered for a whole Bravo production of their spin off? Like what would happen if Katie Maloney had a Pucker and Pout party or Tom Sandoval had garage band practice and no one could cover for them? I’m assuming we would still have a show. Anyway, I digress. When Brittany walks away, Lisa slyly asks Jax how he is going to manage to pull the wool over the family’s eyes for two whole weeks then makes a cock joke about chickens and we are off and running, folks!

The next day, Jax and Brittany (plus their dog, whatshisname), arrive in Kentucky. Brittany’s mom Sherri is there to pick them up, all smiles and frosted lipstick. Despite her past concerns about Jax and his past, Sherri seems to genuinely like him, although I’m not sure why after her last visit to L.A. when he acted like a complete a**hole right in front of her.

Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky recap

They arrive at the family farm, where most of Brittany’s family members still live on the 400+ acre land. The first to roll out of the welcome wagon (just an expression this time, not an actual wagon, although I was kind of expecting one) is Aunt Peggy, also known as “Mamaw.” She immediately announces to Jax that it’s been a long time since there has been a man around the farm and she’s happy he’s here to do “man things.” Well, unless Mamaw needs to know where to get a great spray tan in L.A. or how to get the closest possible shave on your chest, I don’t think Jax is going to be much help to her in the “doin’ man things” department.

Mamaw is hosting a large dinner and we get to meet some other family member, who have come to join them. There is Brittany’s sister Tiffany, sister-in-law Melisha (which is a fun play on the word militia), her brother Wes, and finally, her Stepdad, Joel, who is Sherri’s fourth (we think) husband. They all seem nice enough and bemused by what the cat dragged in to Kentucky. But as they say in the South, bless them, because they go along with it all.

Naturally, they start dinner with a prayer and Mamaw asks Jax, who wouldn’t know a church if it was floating in a martini glass, to lead them. Of course Jax stumbles. He can barely even understand what she’s asking for and someone else has to do it for him so they can all dig into their spread of burgers and baked beans. Mamaw is all about order on the farm and issues a stern warning to Jax that there will be no alcohol, per the late Papaw’s rules. Jax swallows hard but she’s not done – when are they going to get married? Clearly, the whole family has been waiting around for two years, ready for the signal to clear out the barn and hang up some Chinese lanterns to make it all official! But Jax thinks living with a girl in L.A. is the equivalent of just meeting her so hold your horses, Mamaw.

Once dinner is over, Jax and Brittany head back to Sherri’s house and find out they will be sleeping in bunk beds. Despite the fact that they live together, Sherri would be more comfortable with them not sharing a bed since you know, they aren’t married and all. Maci, one of the dogs, immediately jumps on the bed and pees right on the pillow, which feels oddly appropriate right now.

The next day, the cows are mooing, the sun is shining and Jax is gelling his hair, all so he can go shovel some horse poop. When he emerges from Sherri’s house to go with Mamaw, he is clad in denim overalls but is quick to point out he unhooked the one strap so he can bring some fashion to the farm. I guess, if you take your fashion cues from New Kids on the Block, circa 1989. While Jax gets to shoveling, Brittany and Sherri fix breakfast in the kitchen and talk about what Brittany is going to do if Jax hasn’t proposed in three years. Give an ultimatum, of course! Because the last thing Brittany is going to do is be ring-less by the age of 30, which is really 45 in Kentucky time.

After breakfast, they head out to meet Brittany‘s Dad, Don at his house a few miles down the road from the farm. Jax is worried that his workouts will suffer while in Kentucky and he will have to get more plastic surgery on his boobs so he requests an axe to chop some wood. Don is amused, but obliges and watches Jax chip away at a tree for 30 minutes, commenting that he looks like Tarzan but acts like Jane. Don finally puts Jax out of his misery and uses a chainsaw to get the tree down in less than a minute.

Once done, they head inside for some more home cooking, this time with Brittany’s other side of the family which includes her stepmom, other brother and nephews. Frog legs are on the menu tonight and Jax goes for them, commenting that they actually do taste like chicken. But before Jax can even finish his frog legs, Don wants to know, YOU GUESSED IT, when Jax and Brittany are going to get married. Jax admits it’s going to be a long two weeks if every dinner is full of marriage talk and I don’t blame him on this one – I’m bored already.

jax-brittany-kentucky

After dinner, it’s time for a big farm bonfire and Brittany’s friends show up to get on TV meet Jax and hang out. Of course, Jax, the L.A. bad boy that he is, has alcohol stashed in a truck and just can’t wait to bust into it. But being the true man child that he is, he makes a big scene about how all of Brittany’s friends should come and look at his truck and they all hover in the backseat, pouring out giant bottles of alcohol into red solo cups. Smooooooth. Jax whines that he isn’t about to sneak around like a little kid to have a drink but that’s exactly what he does until Mamaw, used to smelling bulls**t all day, wanders over to see what they are up to. They all scatter and Jax runs like a chicken with his head cut off, or a Jax with his nuts cut off, and heads straight for Mamaw and Sherri.

To distract them from his rule breaking, Jax throws them both a bone by saying he is planning on proposing. He even has a ring designer and everything to prove he’s serious. He pulls out his phone and shows them a design of a huge diamond solitaire, which doesn’t really require that much designing if you ask me, but of course they are nothing but thrilled at the prospect. They don’t realize this is a way for Jax to get them off his back for the remainder of the trip and Sherri chirps over and over about how Jax Taylor is going to be her son-in-law. Both Mamaw and Sherri give their blessing, not realizing a Jax in the family would be more like a curse.

Hang onto the second strap of your overalls because this is going to be one hell of a trip!

TELL US – DID YOU WATCH THE PREMIERE OF JAX AND BRITTANY TAKE KENTUCKY? WILL YOU TUNE IN NEXT WEEK FOR MORE? DO YOU THINK JAX AND BRITTANY WILL ACTUALLY EVER GET MARRIED?

Big Brother 19 Spoilers: Live Feeds Day 54 Highlights: One Final Battle of Mark Versus the House for the Road

With less than a month left of Big Brother 19, the game has slowed a lot. Currently, the Big Brother house won’t even humor the possibility of keeping Mark Jansen over Matt Clines. We see no path where Matt walks out the doors over Mark tonight. Due to the house’s pure blind loyalty, we have no hope for an exciting live eviction episode this Big Brother 19 week.

Big Brother 19 Cast

If any excitement comes from this week, it could be with who wins the Head of Household competition. Paul Abrahamian used the week to set targets on everyone but himself. This is a good strategy, but if he doesn’t handle these next few evictions with care, he may suffer a similar fate to the one he experienced on Big Brother 18.

Mark Campaigns Some More

Big Brother 19 Mark Jansen

Anyone who complains about a Big Brother houseguest fighting for their life until the very end, is not a true Big Brother fan. As fans, we want to see them pull out every move to win the game. All the weeks prior to this one, Big Brother 19 houseguests have not really campaigned to stay in the game. They either let their egos get in their way, or rightfully realized that the house was too blind to Paul’s deceptions to keep them.

Paul and his minions decided to laugh and make fun of Mark for trying to not go out without a fight. However, Mark continued on this path and tried the entire day to campaign to one person after another. They just repeated his information and mocked him.

Mark Versus Paul…Over Cody!?

Big Brother 19 Mark Jansen and Paul Abrahamian

Paul has continuously talked badly about Cody Nickson since he left the game. Mark, being a sort-of friend to him, decided to tell Paul to stop it. Mark’s argument was that Cody is out of the game, so why does any of this matter now? He didn’t feel like Cody did anything to warrant this much hatred and discussion.

Paul disagreed. He basically berated Mark for defending Cody. He claimed that Cody wouldn’t do the same for Mark, and that he wasn’t a good person. Mark just didn’t want to discuss it anymore. However, Paul continued. Once Paul got in a room without Mark, he said how Mark was a bully just like Cody.

Mark just felt drained by the whole house and their continuous hypocrisy and drama. We are too, Mark. We are too.

The Real Housewives Of New York Reunion Recap: Part Two

Bethenny-Frankel-Head-Tilt-Open-Mouth-Reunion-2-RHONY

Sonja-Morgan-Ramona-Singer-Boob-Adjust-Reunion-2-RHONY

Get yourselves adjusted and comfortable, because it’s time to rehash the drama from last night’s Real Housewives Of New York Reunion, part two. Bethenny Frankel breaks down over the custody hell she went through this year. Carole Radziwill and Tinsley Mortimer are actually permitted to speak (whoa!), and Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer – well, they continue to be the national treasures they are. And I can’t help wishing these two would totally change, yet not change at all. The same goes for the entire cast, when it comes down to it. Their brand of crazy just…works.

Last week left us with Luann de Lesseps on the hot seat, justifying her marriage to Tom D’Agostino for all of the ladies, Andy Cohen, and America. Alas, watching that sh*t back had to be awful for her, no matter how delusionally she walked into that marriage. Luckily, Lu only has to defend herself 47,000 more times before the reunion can move on.

The first issue Luann has to get past: Missy. Though Ramona claims she hasn’t been inviting Missy to Every. Single. Party. This. Year. Luann suspects foul play. She also lashes out about Mario having an affair right under Ramona’s nose – which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in terms of an argument about why Missy is peachy keen with her, but whatevs!

Luann-Delesseps-Shoulder-Up-Reunion-2-RHONY

Then Luann goes to her third tier defense, explaining that Tom (who’s been caught on RHONY cameras since season one) is not “a TV person,” and that he just needs to de-mic now and then. Mmmkay. Also, she likes their lifestyle. Bethenny butts in with her newly minted adage that you can make a lifestyle out of a life, but not a life out of a lifestyle. This will never sell as many t-shirts as Dorinda Medley’s “How am I doing? Not well, b*tch!” Because that is how you coin a phrase, ladies and gentlemen.

But back to Bethenny’s issues with Luann. She doesn’t like Lu referring to Tom’s one-bedroom apartment as a “penthouse,” so she explains what an actual penthouse is for us common folk at home. I’m not sure who’s supposed to be more insulted over this – Tom, Luann, or us? In any case, Bethenny’s got some serious arm flailing going on as she tries to drive her point home. Luann’s like, meh. Okay, I’ll call it an apartment when I’m around YOU.

Carole-Radziwill-Bethenny-Frankel-Reunion-2-RHONY

Andy brings it back full circle, congratulating Luann on her marriage of three more weeks and praising everyone on the cast for being “happy” at the moment. (Emphasis on the moment.)

It’s time to move on to Tinsley, who is apparently still here. After talking a walk down Tinsley’s winding road of self-actualization (still in progress) this season, Andy asks about her look. Will she stop wearing ruffles and curls and bows and sparkles? Short answer: No. “I didn’t come back here to reinvent myself,” argues Tinsley, who just wants to be her! Carole says she never meant to change her, and found that their polar opposite personalities and looks worked for them as friends.

Tinsley-Mortimer-Carole-Radziwill-Reunion-2-RHONY

Tinsley says she’s still living in a hotel (LIES!), and is looking for a place she and Scott can shack up together this Fall. She also admits this season showed her at some of her lowest moments, but she feels like she’s bounced back now. Confessing that her past relationship involved physical and emotional abuse, Tinsley explains how she hid most of these facts from her family, let alone the public. Drinking also played a part, which she’s trying to change. Though she doesn’t think she has an issue with alcohol, Tinsley does think she used it as a crutch during hard times. The rest of the ladies sort of side eye her on this, but who are they to judge? #Mexico

Now it’s time to relive Carole’s election journey. Since we’ve already lived through it – twice! – let’s just leave it at this: Carole was bummed out. She’s still bummed out. She’s also very, very informed – she’ll have us know! But she is decidedly NOT bummed out about Adam un-shacking himself from her place. Though they’re still semi-together (at the time of filming), Carole would classify herself as “free.” But she did travel with Adam on a couples trip to Spain with Tinsley and Scott, so…??? And she’s not on the election loop anymore, so Bethenny has accepted her back into their friend circle. Which is more of a hard line.

Full-Cast-Bethenny-Frankel-Arms-Out-Reunion-2-RHONY

Since Andy doesn’t want to leave the political poop alone, he throws a viewer question at the ladies: Who knows either political candidate from 2016? And who did each of them vote for? Ramona says she’s met both Clinton and Trump, but pleads the fifth on who got her vote. (She also looks like she might have a wee accident in her underpants while answering this question.) Sonja knows some of the Trumps, but won’t reveal her vote either. Dorinda voted for Clinton, who she knows socially through her late husband, Richard. (WHAT!?) Lu has been introduced to both candidates, but also pleads the fifth.

Bethenny met Bill Clinton once in Barney’s and told him he had spinach in his teeth. She also ran into Trump on the street, who allegedly recognized her first, then made a YUGE deal about it. Because her show must go on! (She’ll be here all night.) Bethenny does interestingly admit that she voted for Clinton, something she’s been entirely tight lipped about on social media. Carole, of course, voted for Clinton. And Tinsley doesn’t know what an election is wasn’t able to vote.

Sonja-Morgan-Head-Tilt-Pursed-Lips-Reunion-2-RHONY

Since Sonja had little else going on this season except for pretending to be mad at Tinsley, Andy grants her a segment dedicated to the battle for Sonja’s bidet-laundered lingerie: Rocco versus Frenchie! Although the ladies basically think Sonja has created a big ole’ mess out of her romantic life, Sonja claims she’s got it all under control. It comes down to this: Frenchie is the short fix, Rocco is the long game. Since she married her ex-husband after seven years of being friends (without benefits?), Sonja thinks the back burner approach is the road to glory.

But this Frenchie dude has Smarmy with a capital S written ALLLLLLLL over him, and even Luann isn’t afraid to point out how “natural” he seems on camera. So, he’s an actor, eh? Playing the part of Sonja’s boyfriend? OF COURSE HE IS. Carole says as much, which seems to baffle Sonja. She thought he loved her for her brown ice! And free rent and television exposure and on-demand nookie. Dorinda thinks Frenchie moving in is a huge mistake too, but Sonja is not hearing it. She loves having Frenchie in her bed, and his box in the basement. It’s a European thing. It’s also too much for Sonja’s breasts to handle, which valiantly try to wrest free of her dress as she drones on and on without end.

After Ramona and Sonja make sure their girls are firmly taped to the underside of their dresses, Andy turns his lens on Bethenny’s love life. Though her time with Dennis Shields was but a brief flicker on the screen, the real drama was going on behind the scenes. Ex-husband Jason Hoppy, who was arrested for harassment and stalking during this season’s filming, seemed invisibly ever-present. Now, Bethenny says she’s back with Dennis again. Since “things” were dealt with (which we can guess had to do with Jason), Bethenny says they’re giving it another shot.

Tearing up, Bethenny admits she has a difficult time getting close to people. And she didn’t allow Dennis in as much as she could/should have. She also wanted Dennis to make some changes, which she says he has. And her new feeling of freedom is helping her try to make this relationship work again. (Well, as of today, they’re still together – so maybe a corner has been turned?)

Bethenny-Frankel-Head-Tilt-Open-Mouth-Reunion-2-RHONY

But Bethenny pushing people away isn’t just reserved for her romantic relationships. Andy mentions that some viewers see Bethenny as not really wanting to be around her cast mates most of the time. Bethenny stands by her “I gotta go!” behavior when dealing with these women, though. She also doesn’t want to elaborate on the charges Jason’s been slapped with, especially to Ramona, who tries to add commentary. Since she can’t do the I-gotta-g0 schtick here, Bethenny just shuts Ramona down with an “I don’t want to talk to you” and “Thank you so much.”

Andy wonders what Bethenny and Jason’s daughter, Bryn, knows about what’s been going on. Since she’s only seven years old, the answer is: not much. Bethenny says she doesn’t discuss her situation with Jason in front of Bryn – ever – and Carole backs her claims up. But Andy wonders if the same tight lipped approach is going on at Jason’s house? Bethenny doesn’t know, nor does anyone. So it’s not really worth speculating about. Plus, Bethenny isn’t concerned with what the tabloids report. She knows Sonja’s nip slip or Lu’s divorce will make headlines the next day and usurp any juicy news about her particular drama.

Because Andy hasn’t rattled Bethenny quite enough yet, he harkens back to last year’s reunion, at which Bethenny said she called her mother for the first time in years. Since that call, Bethenny hasn’t taken Bryn to see her. It might have something to do with the fact that Bethenny’s mom has contacted the press to trash her repeatedly over the past year.

The interesting part about “the dark side of Bethenny” is that viewers don’t get to see the same level of detail as we do with the other ladies, mainly because she keeps it hidden (or is court ordered to do so). Andy alludes to this, asking if what we don’t see affects her behavior on the show more than we know. (Um, DUH.) Tearing up again, Bethenny says of course it does. “You can’t even imagine the torment that this has been,” she cries. And to be fair, no, we can’t. Because we haven’t been allowed in.

Ramona-Singer-Gold-Reunion-2-RHONY

Attempting to have a sincere moment of connection (that Bethenny clearly does not want), Ramona confesses she felt similarly when Mario “forced his way” into living with her two seasons ago, post-divorce. She didn’t tell any of the women the truth then either because she didn’t want to fall apart. Carole pipes up that she knows how much of a toll this Jason drama has taken on Bethenny, and it’s not manufactured for sympathy. In her opinion, it’s real. But the rest of the group had little idea what Bethenny was dealing with behind the scenes.

So, where are Bethenny and Jason at with resolution these days? Bethenny has faith that she’ll live a “normal, free life” one day, but it will be with “zero contact” with her ex. Dorinda echoes that it’s important for women to have options, which segues into Bethenny plugging her charity for abused women. She knows she’s a woman of means who has options, so she wants to help others who don’t. And I don’t care if it makes me sound naive, but I think that’s great. And love her or hate her, at least Bethenny is doing one thing with her money for the good of others in need. And something that doesn’t involve the words “Skinny” or “Girl.”

TELL US: DO YOU THINK BETHENNY SHOULD HAVE OPENED UP MORE THIS SEASON ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES? IS FRENCHIE A PAID BOYFRIEND? WERE YOU SURPRISED BY THE POLITICAL CONFESSIONS?
