House of Villains Season 2, Episode 3 Recap: Double Housewives Trouble

It’s time to be bad! House of Villains returned this week with a brand-new episode, and the competition has already heated up. The gamers are gaming hard right out of the gate.

In last week’s two-part premiere, Safaree became the first Supervillain of the season and threw Kandy, Victoria, and Larissa on the Hit List. It was a short-sighted decision for a few reasons but mainly because he wound up getting read for filth by Kandy. We wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

Ultimately, the villains voted out Larissa, but the episode ended on a cliffhanger teasing that a new villain could enter the competition. It turns out that wasn’t a tease, and they brought in another villain whose name almost sounds like Larissa! Here’s the full rundown on House of Villains Season 2, Episode 3, “Don’t Disrupt the Pecking Order.”

What happened in House of Villains Season 2, Episode 3?

After Larissa’s 5-2 elimination, a new player entered the competition ready to shake things up. Victoria stumbled upon a little secret, and then, a disco-themed Battle Royale Challenge shined a spotlight on all of the alliances in the house. By the end of the episode, three more villains wound up on the Hit List.

Welcome to the competition, Larsa

What’s better than one Real Housewife on House of Villains? Two Real Housewives on House of Villains! Episode 3 kicked off by revealing that Larsa Pippen from Real Housewives of Miami has entered the competition!

Of course, Larsa said in her confessional interview that she didn’t understand why people consider her a villain. Cue the montage of her messy moments from RHOM and Season 2 of The Traitors.

The other villains had mixed reactions about someone new joining the competition, moments after kicking someone else out of it. Camilla seemed unsure, and Safaree noted that the men were suddenly outnumbered in the competition. Meanwhile, New York said that she was afraid that the Housewives would “team up” and “disrupt the pecking order.” Valid concern.

On the other hand, Teresa said she was excited to see someone else from the Bravo family. Also, it turns out that Victoria and Larsa knew each other from Miami. For the most part, the villains gave Larsa a warm welcome, until she decided to throw a fit over her sleeping arrangements.

Kandy and Larsa face off

Less than five minutes after being in the house, Larsa started complaining about her bunking situation. She said she didn’t want to sleep in a room with men, and she needed someone to switch. That’s easier said than done. Tiffany and Camilla already switched beds on Day 1, and it’s literally like a game of Tetris trying to figure out who would sleep where.

Somehow, Larsa decided that Kandy would need to be the one to switch. She didn’t ask nicely, and Kandy didn’t like the tone. Ding ding ding, it’s time for another villain face-off!

“What you’re doing is being an asshole on Day 1,” Larsa told Kandy, who is actually on Day 3 of the competition.

Kandy replied, “I am an asshole. I am a f-cking asshole!”

“Well, I don’t think you move the masses, my love,” Larsa clapped back at Kandy.

The other villains just sat there in silence, watching the drama unfold. In a confessional, Teresa warned Kandy “not to f-ck” with a Housewife, because she would lose. However, we think that a drag queen versus a Housewife seems like a fair fight.

Once the two villains went to their separate corners, Victoria wound up sacrificing her bed for Larsa. Kandy got out of drag, decompressed, and apologized to Larsa in a sitdown with the women of the house. There’s clearly a gender divide happening in the game, and as a drag queen, Kandy is caught in the middle.

“I respect women and understand where you were coming from with not wanting to room with the men,” Kandy told Larsa, in front of the rest of the women in the game.

Victoria’s secret Knock Blocker

The next morning, Joel went all Mission: Impossible on us and snuck a little envelope inside the refrigerator labeled “Top Secret – Open in Private.” They say that the early bird gets the worm. Victoria was the first one to come across it.

She snuck away into a confessional and revealed a tiny little golden rooster, which they have hilariously called the Knock Blocker. It can be used to take one person off of the Hit List and the person who holds the power can swap out any other villain. That’s a powerful little prize to stumble upon in the fridge, right?

“I’ve never been happy to see a cock quite so small but this might be my favorite cock I’ve ever had in my hand,” Victoria teased in her confessional.

She declared, “We’re going to shake some things up with this little cock!”

A battle at the disco

For this week’s Battle Royale, Joel had the villains dress up in their best 1970s costumes for a disco-themed challenge. It was basically like musical chairs. Boogie down the dancefloor, and get ready for instructions when the music stops.

Joel explained they had to break off into groups of various sizes each round. Two groups of five, and three groups of three, and so on and so forth. The odd man out in each round gets kicked out of the challenge, and the last villain standing wins. It seemed easy enough, but it immediately got awkward when they realized the game was less about speed and more about their alliances. They could choose who would be the odd man out each round.

In the end, it came down to Camilla, Richard, and Kandy as the last dancers on the floor. They had to decide amongst themselves who would be the Supervillain of the Week, and they picked Camilla. Congrats to her!

Naturally, she chose Richard and Kandy for the villain outing because after all, they helped her win! Unfortunately for Richard, that allegiance didn’t last for very long.

Richard’s strategy backfired

Richard did a lot of heavy lifting in this episode. He went toe to toe with Tiffany and somehow left her speechless. He sat around naked for the majority of the episode, but most importantly, he tried to get people to talk about gameplay strategy.

Obviously, Richard isn’t new to this, and he can see what Wes is doing with his cult. Richard wants to squash it, but he needs people to help him do it.

During the Supervillain outing to Top Golf, where they made sure to say “Top Golf” no fewer than one hundred times, Richard tried to explain his thought process to Camilla. He told her that Wes, Tiffany, and Safaree would be the best people to put up on the chopping block to start dismantling the cult.

Watching from home, it’s so clear that Richard’s strategy makes sense. However, you can’t tell a Bad Girl what to do. Camilla wound up getting spooked by Richard, and she put him on the Hit List! Plot twist. Is a Bad Girl going to take down a Survivor legend?

Who is up for elimination this week?

At the Stronghold, Camilla also nominated Wes and Safaree. She explained that these guys were her biggest threats, and she wanted to win the grand prize to support her kids. Clearly, Camilla is here to play, and not just get more TV time like some of these other villains.

Unfortunately for Camilla, Victoria threw a wrench into her plan with the Knock Blocker. Everyone seemed shocked, especially Tiffany. She was like, “Is this really a part of the show?”

In a sign of allegiance to the Wes cult, Victoria decided to use the little Knock Blocker cock to save him from the Hit List. Instead, she put up Mr. Pecs, who seemed completely blindsided. In a confessional, he said he regretted not sending her home the previous week.

Next time on House of Villains, Jessie, Safaree, and Richard will battle it out in a Redemption Challenge for a chance to stay in the competition. But for one of them, the game is about to come to an end.

House of Villains continues on E! every Thursday night at 10/9c.

Jenna Lyons Gifts Jessel Taank Christmas Tree Costume in Hilarious RHONY Throwback

In Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York, the ladies took a girls’ trip to the Hamptons. In an attempt to break the ice with her new friends, Jenna Lyons brought a gift of lingerie for each of the women. Sadly, Jessel Taank was very unhappy with her green satin and black lace nightie. Admittedly, it was way too big for her and wasn’t anything she would normally wear. She complained loudly about it making her “look like a Christmas tree.”

In the end, Jessel had the notorious nightie framed and gifted it to Andy Cohen to add to his Watch What Happens Live collection of Housewives memorabilia. But now, Jenna’s throwing it back. Who said Housewives can’t have fun?

Jenna Lyons has a surprise Christmas gift for Jessel Taank

Apparently, Jessel has gotten over herself these days and is able to laugh at her initial indignation over the Christmas tree nightie. Despite it being the wrong size and not something she would normally wear, a gift is a gift. The proper response is to say thank you and move on, even if you’re not happy with the gift.

But Jenna sees the humorous side, too. When the RHONY ladies once again take a girls’ trip to Erin Lichy’s Hamptons home, the fashion icon brings gifts to share. After Erin brings out welcome gifts for her guests, Jenna says, “I have gifts, too. Here comes more gifts!”

Jenna’s brought all the ladies more sexy lingerie. Very pretty! But Jenna explains that she brought “a special gift for Jessel.”

“Last year I gave you a hard time about wearing multiple labels,” she says. Jenna then hands her a very large Bottega-branded shopping bag. Jessel’s eyes light up.

“Wait a second,” she says. “I cannot with you, Jenna Lyons!” But when she rips open the bag and sees what’s inside, it’s a full-on Christmas tree costume. I hope it’s the right size, at least.

“Oh, my God!” Jessel laughs, taking it in stride. Everyone else is highly amused. Sai calls it “epic.”

“But wait, everyone else got lingerie?” Jessel realizes. Come on, Jessel. Just take it in stride.

But fortunately, Jenna whips out a red heart-shaped box, “Here you are.”

“Now we’re talking, Jenna Lyons,” Jessel says, pulling a black lacy bra and undies from the box.

Merry Christmas, Jessel!

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 5 Recap: Heather’s ‘Trail of Lies’

Photo Credit: Joshua Applegate/Bravo via Getty Images

Welcome to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 5 recap. In last week’s episode, the ladies took a tour of the Miller Brewing Company, where Heather spilled the beans to Whitney that Meredith’s been talking about her business. At the Harley Davidson Museum, Whitney drove them all to Crazy Town, but the night ended happily at Trixie Mattel’s drag club. Keep reading to see exactly what went down in the RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 5: “Whitney Drew and Her Clues.”

In this week’s episode, Bronwyn drops a huge reveal about her daughter’s father. Whitney uncovers the alleged culprit behind the rumors surrounding her jewelry business, and Britani and Jared break up for good – but she still wants to be friends. Finally, Mary accuses Heather of “leaving a trail of lies” wherever she goes. Here are some of the highlights from RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 5.

Bronwyn shares the story of her daughter’s birth with Lisa

Waiting at the airport in Milwaukee, Lisa and Bronwyn bonded over how her daughter looks like her. When Bronwyn pulled out her phone to show a picture of Gwen’s dad, Lisa realized that she knew him. She knows his parents really well. Bronwyn explains that she got pregnant when she was only 19. Her daughter’s dad actually passed away when she was two.

When she found out she was pregnant, she and her boyfriend went to see his parents. They were devout Mormons and blamed Bronwyn for the pregnancy. They called her horrible names and wanted her to just “go away” until the baby was born and put the baby up for adoption.

But Bronwyn was determined to “do it by myself.” Her boyfriend “wanted no part of it,” so she dropped out of college and moved home with her family. They accepted it as best they could.

Tearfully, Bronwyn tells Lisa, “It is a total mind f*ck to think this is the best thing I’ve ever done, and so many people thought it was the worst thing I’ve ever done.”

Lisa has known the family for years. She remembers the devastation of their son’s passing.

But Bronwyn’s having a hard time “reconciling this ‘wonderful family’ that you know with the family that has not made time in 18 years” to meet their granddaughter. That’s shameful.

Lisa told the grandmother Bronwyn’s story. She says there’s regret there and that her grandparents would like to be a part of Gwen’s life.

“Gwen wants to know about her dad,” Bronwyn says. “I think she should know everything she wants to about him.” Nevertheless, it will be painful for her because of the way they treated Bronwyn initially.

Britani got love-bombed by Jared while she was away

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 5

Heather shares a video with Whitney that she got from Britani the night they got back from Milwaukee. “I just walked in from Milwaukee,” Brit says. When she got home from the trip, she walked in to find four dozen roses along with a “beautiful card from Jared.”

Of course, he wants to meet up, and Britani’s tempted, but Whit and Heather both encourage her to stay away from him. She thinks he needs closure, and she “owes him” that much. Don’t do it, girl. He’ll suck you right back in.

Britani mentions that Lisa was “way too invested” in her relationship and was the one who talked her into breaking up with Jared in the first place.

Then Whitney brings up that the necklace she gifted Lisa in Milwaukee was found in the trash. The manager from the guesthouse they stayed in called her and told her. She’s really upset that Lisa would just toss her gift like that. And it turns out that Lisa was supposedly the one who started all the talk about Whitney’s jewelry line being from Alibaba.

Angie and Mary go to a hip-hop class together

Angie pulls up in front of Mary’s house. “Your charity awaits, my lady,” she says on her phone. Um, I think you mean “chariot,” hon. Angie and Mary are going to a hip-hop class where they run into Georgia Gay, Heather’s daughter.

Meanwhile, Heather and Lisa are meeting up at the salt caves. The room is made out of 16 tons of Himalayan salt. It’s supposed to be calming and healing.

Back at the dance class, Angie tells Mary she’s still irritated with Lisa for bringing her daughter Elektra into their conversation. She points out that Lisa has had a problem with every single one of her friends. Could Lisa be the problem?

But over at the salt cave, Heather and Lisa are talking about Angie. Heather’s stirring the pot, telling Lisa that Angie was throwing “out some jabs” about her. She tells her that Angie said she doesn’t let her daughter sit and play video games until 2:00 in the morning. Ouch. I have a son, too. That’s what they do. But mine’s in college and has a 4.0 GPA, cooks dinner now and then, and does his own laundry. I’m not gonna complain.

Angie says Lisa is using the computer as a “f*cking babysitter” for her 12-year-old son. Lisa’s not crazy about that. Stay in your lane, Angie. Kids are off-limits. And you just don’t criticize your friends’ parenting skills. Lisa’s hurt. She might have asked for some drama when she randomly brought up Elektra, Angie’s daughter, last episode. But this felt like a step too far.

Detective Whitney discovers the source of the rumors

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 5

Whitney and Justin are in the car driving their daughter Bobbie to soccer practice. After they drop her off, Whitney gets a call from a podcaster friend. Adam knows the person who posted the rumor that Whitney’s jewelry line comes from Alibaba. So Whitney asked him to find out who fed the story to the site. She has suspicions, but she needs proof.

The culprit seems to be Lisa. No big surprise there. Now she knows she has a friendship with someone who really isn’t her friend at all.

Meanwhile, Britani’s meeting Jared for lunch. “I know that when I get in front of Jared, he’s very convincing,” she interviews. “I have a really hard time standing my ground and staying broken up.”

Apparently, on the way back from the Bucks game in Milwaukee, Lisa grabbed Britani’s phone and started texting Jared “really mean things.”

“This is what I have a problem with,” Jared says. “Private conversations between people that love each other are private.”

Britani’s insecure due to Jared’s behavior. Even though he claims to be publicly affectionate, “He doesn’t post about me on social media, he won’t get off dating apps, and when we walk by cute girls, he’ll drop my hand,” she says.

Britani just wants to feel “safe” and like he feels they’re in a relationship. Instead, he says, “I’ve given you everything I can.”

There you go. He’s just not willing to give her what she needs. He says, “I don’t want to lose the relationship, but you and I just don’t understand each other. So let’s just put a pin in it.”

What does that mean? Are they going to revisit the topic at some point? Sounds pretty clear that he doesn’t really want to be her boyfriend.

Gwen’s not so sure she wants to meet her grandparents

Bronwyn says as soon as she got home from Milwaukee she told Gwen about the info Lisa had told her about Gwen’s grandparents. They both needed time to process, so Gwen spent a couple of days in San Francisco with Bronwyn’s parents.

Since her dad’s parents expressed wanting to see her, Gwen feels the communication has gone a little cold. She was excited at first, but now she doesn’t think they’re all that excited to meet her. She didn’t feel their response was very “loving.”

Bronwyn says they sent a text saying they were ready to meet Gwen, but only if she was “in a place where she’s ready to accept them.” Sounds to me like they don’t want to be held accountable for the sh*tty way they treated Gwen’s mother.

Even though the text threw some cold water on the situation, Bronwyn says she knows Gwen wants them so badly “to want her.”

“They had nearly 18 years to reach out,” Gwen says. “[But] they woke up every day and chose not to.”

“I just want to feel like I know something about him,” she continues. “But I can’t do that unless I meet them and have a relationship with them.”

Bronwyn explains that she always thought if she was just a good enough mom, Gwen wouldn’t miss what she never had. She tried very hard to fill that missing piece. But now she realizes it wasn’t fair to her daughter.

“Of course, you’re going to feel that absence,” she admits. Gwen is the only one in this situation who never made any choices, and now she’s feeling the weight of all the choices everyone else made for her. That’s something Bronwyn says “will keep me up at night.”

Mary accuses Heather of leaving a “trail of lies”

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 5

Britani confronts Lisa over her grabbing her phone when they were in Milwaukee and texting Jared “mean things.” She worries they won’t be able to remain friends because of it. Jared is not your friend, Britani. He’s manipulative, and he’s chatting with other girls.

The conversation moves on to Mary running into Georgia at the dance class. Mary doesn’t want to talk about it, since she was there with Angie. She knows Lisa and Angie are on the outs.

Next Mary challenged Heather for always “championing Lisa.” Even though she’s known Angie since high school, in this case, Heather’s on Lisa’s side.

“I feel like you leave a trail of lies,” Mary says. “Like the black eye. Then the fact that you champion body positivity, and now that’s a lie, too.”

Lisa comes to Heather’s defense: “Why are we saying she was lying, because she said ‘body positivity’ was a lie? She didn’t say, ‘I was lying.”

Heather clarifies that the whole “body positivity” thing is a lie, because people say all bodies are beautiful, “when they really just want you to be skinny.” Heather has been very open about her use of Ozempic to lose weight, and she looks great.

“The entire world is criticizing the way that I’m losing weight … or what I look like,” Heather says in a confessional. “Mary, I don’t need it from you, too. I’m just trying to live my … life, and have it not be about my body for once.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
