OH, goody goody GOODY! My beloved Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills will soon be returning! All I want for Christmas is some Lisa Vanderpump, y’all! And just in time, season 8 premiers Tuesday, December 19th at 9/8c.
Changes are in the salty, sparkly Beverly Hills air – Eileen Davidson is out (and it doesn’t even look like she makes a cameo?), and it’s confirmed that Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is stepping into Eileen’s tall blonde heels. The fitness coach and married mom of 2 is also the daughter of John Mellencamp, and is not at all shy about flexing her guns!
Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Lisa Rinna, and Dorit Kemsley are all back, with lots of appearances by Camille Grammer. But thankfully no Brandi or Yolanda.
The preview showcases plenty of fabulous trips from NYC for Fashion Week, Japan for Lipsa’s daughters’ modeling careers, and finally to Berlin for the relaunch of Dorit’s bikini collection. And then there are the costumes, and the parties, and the celebrity special guests…

Of course, there’s also plenty of arguing! Erika warning prophetically that you have to “cut the head off the devil” and that all the fighting “boils down to three bitches who are competitive over friendship.” It appears that Teddi will definitely butt heads with Rinna, Dorit, and, also Erika, but surprisingly after all their fighting last season, Erika and Dorit have finally put panty bomb-bomb behind them and are friends! Yay. Oh, and even Vanderpump throws a hissy fit.
Well, I cannot wait. Bring on the diamonds, rose, many mini-ed pets, ridiculous fashions, and make it RAIN Beverly Hills drama.

There is some more relationship drama in store for Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright next season on Vanderpump Rules.
As someone who has been diligently (and pathetically) watching Brittany unfollow and then follow and unfollow Jax on Instagram, I’ve been very curious about the story behind it. Jax and Brittany teased the upcoming drama in a recent interview.
Jax and Brittany spoke to Us Weekly about the season. Unfortunately, they did not mention any specifics, but there is supposed to be a lot of drama. Jax said that there will be “a lot of drama” and “a lot of chaos,” but what else is new? This is Vanderpump Rules, after all.
Jax said, “There’s a lot of ups and downs. Every relationship’s tested I think every year, but I think this year, ours was definitely tested a little bit.” But, how so? We all saw that commercial about Jax talking about Brittany in some recording, but what was he saying? We just want answers.
Brittany admitted, “He definitely made me mad on the Kentucky show. There’s a lot of stuff that happens this year that isn’t connected to the Kentucky show that much.” But, what happened? Obviously they’re not allowed to share, but I really want to know. And of course the intended effect of this (not-at-all-revealing) interview has been successful. They shared pretty much nothing while drumming up some curiosity.
When asked about the possibility of proposing, Jax revealed, “I have ideas. I’ve got plans. ” He also said, “I always have something going on upstairs, believe it or not.”

Boo Hoo – Jenelle Evans and David Eason don’t like people saying they suck! They’re tired of everyone accusing David of being abusive towards Kaiser. And well, everyone else.
By now we all know that the drama during the latest Teen Mom 2 reunion was out of control – mostly because of Jenelle and David, of course – but in Monday night’s segment the terrible twosome stormed off the stage (ignoring the producers) when Dr. Drew confronted them about David’s aggressive behavior, including how controlling he is towards Jenelle. Jenelle’s mother also shares these same concerns!
However it was Nathan Griffin‘s mother Doris, a former child welfare worker, who shared that she’s “terribly frightened” by what she perceives as David abusing his step-son. Doris claims Kaiser told her that David punched him. Nathan echoed that he had also seen bruises and questioned how much David is “overstepping his boundary” with Kaiser. Of course now JENELLE is turning it around to insinuate that Nathan and Doris are the ones leaving marks on Kaiser.
In a statement to People Jenelle said, “I doubt my husband would punch a kid in his face. For weeks I asked Doris every time Kaiser came home and if there was marks she always got super offensive in texts when I would ask her what happened to my son.”
Perhaps if Jenelle didn’t get knocked up with every guy she met on Tinder she wouldn’t have so much baby daddy drama. But too late now, right?!
Jenelle also shared a rather disturbing photo of David taking Kaiser and Jace hunting. Um, they’re 3 and 7… really?

It’s pretty clear that we have reached the part of the game where those who have a great chance of winning in the end find themselves being targeted. That’s what happened this week on Survivor, where an all-around strong player was sent out of the game over what many considered to be a more obvious target.

Desiree Williams was just a victim of the numbers. “Desi,” a 27-year-old physical therapist from Peachtree City, Georgia, started off on the dominant Healers tribe and didn’t have to go to a Tribal Council until after the tribe switch. That switch stuck her with Healer tribe pariah Joe Mena, who she had no choice but to team-up with on a tribe that also included two former Heroes and one former Hustler. When Joe played his Idol correctly to blindside Alan, Desi had a brief spell where she contemplated turning on Joe and possibly teaming up with Devon and Ashley.
But her true loyalties to Joe were never tested. She made the merge and just proved even further how big of a threat she was in the game when she won the very first individual Immunity Challenge. When Jessica was blindsided last week – following a failed attempt at using the Idol by Joe – Desi quickly became one of the biggest targets in the game as the majority alliance began targeting the remaining Healers. She was the last woman left standing and almost won her second straight Immunity Challenge, but lost out to Cole. When the vote basically came down to her or Joe, many still thought she’d survive another week since Joe was such a big target and is disliked by many.
But Joe‘s persona at this point in the game is an exact reason to keep him. A player like Desi – who is well-rounded and is a huge threat in all aspects of the game – is usually the kind of player that is sent home post-merge. After a tie vote between her and Joe (presumably to flush out any potential idols), the re-vote send Desi out of the game, and she became the first member of this season’s jury.
I had the chance to speak to Desi today on the FilmSurvivor Podcast (the full audio of which you can find and download at the bottom of this article). But here were some highlights:
DESI INTERVIEW HIGHLIGHTS:
On what exactly happened at last night’s Tribal Council:
Desi Williams: We talked about who we were voting for, I was told we were voting for Lauren. I totally thought that all of the Healers would be voting together. We sort of had an inkling that they might be splitting the votes, so there’s that. I sort of have to take it as a compliment that I was voted out opposite of Joe. It sort of became clear after the first two individual Immunity Challenges that Joe was not an Individual Immunity threat. And on top of that I think he had pissed off enough people in the game, even at this point, where people felt like even if he somehow happened to make it to the end, like nobody likes the guy, nobody would vote for him [to win]. Where it was clear that I was a challenge threat.
On becoming the “Mayor of Ponderosa” (first jury member):
Desi: I very much wanted Ponderosa to be a place of positivity. I like to refer to myself as the “Queen of Ponderosa” (laughs). I would say maybe the first 12 hours I went back-and-forth about the game, and there were some tears involved. But after that I was like you know what? This was a good experience, let me just journal about this and then let me just live. So for me I wanted Ponderosa to be a space where you could re-integrate back into life.
On whether or not anybody noticed that there was one vote missing (due to Lauren’s secret advantage being played):
Desi: I admittedly and embarrassingly did not [pick up on the fact that there was a vote missing]. I did not realize until another person was voted off and reveals that to me, that only ten votes were read and Lauren didn’t vote. I didn’t think twice about it, I was still in shock that the Healer votes were all over the place and what the hell had happened there. So no, I was totally shocked.

Production of Veep's final season has been delayed as the HBO show's star Julia Louis-Dreyfus continues her breast cancer treatments. The 56-year-old Emmy-winning actress had...In comparison to seasons past, this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey has been a breeze for Melissa Gorga. She has just enough drama to get screen time, but she’s really not in the thick of it. Plus she gets to promote her store Envy at every possible second. She really is in the best spot out of all the Jersey ladies at this point.
This is a stark contrast from the woman who joined the show in the middle of a feud with Teresa Giudice after Danielle Staub infamously brought up the family drama during the Season 2 reunion. Apparently Danielle and Melissa were talking about their (former) shared enemy years ago, but apparently they only met this season.
Melissa (sort of) addressed her unclear past with Danielle during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live when a viewer called in and said, “Danielle and you are becoming really good friends. I wanted to know, years ago Danielle said that you went over her house and you denied it. Did you two ever talk about that?” Melissa appeared to be thrown off by the question- or for all I know there’s just poor audio quality in the Bravo clubhouse.
Melissa said, “Wait. That I went to her house?” She eventually said, “I actually met Danielle for the first time filming this show. We exchanged emails and had met through the internet or whatever, but we never met before I filmed with her.” Andy Cohen read my mind when he interjected with “I want to dig a little deeper into that at the reunion, I think.” YES, ANDY. Please do that.
That was by far the juiciest part of the interview, but there were some standard questions before that. Andy asked, “How are things at the restaurant now?” Melissa said, “Gorga’s is packed. Actually there’s a line every single night going out the door.”
Andy asked two questions that many viewers wanted clarification on: “And what is your involvement? And what’s Teresa’s involvement?” Melissa admitted, “So it’s mainly Joe [Gorga]. This is Joe’s thing. This is what he wants and we came in as a family to kind of do it together and help him out with the menu. I can’t be there twenty four hours a day and Teresa can’t either, but we’re there and we help him. We go there with the recipes with my father-in-law. It did cause problems. It makes us argue and I don’t like that.”
Andy also asked Melissa about the comments she made about Teresa’s parenting style. Melissa said, “I think Teresa even says throughout the episode that I was right about it and it’s not a negative thing at all. She gives them so much love. It’s not a negative thing. It’s like sisterly advice. She doesn’t have a sister. Sometimes she can be a little too lenient, which is not a bad thing.”
One caller asked Melissa, “What would you have done and you had been at the retreat and Siggy [Flicker] called you out the way she called Margaret out at the retreat, knowing that we already know she called you out in front of a bunch of people and it was humiliating.”
Maybe Melissa didn’t hear the second half of the question, but she did respond with, “She actually did call me out at her house in front of about eighty women and I stayed. I feel like she’s different this year than the Siggy I knew last year. Watching it back, I’m actually frustrated at myself for not walking out of that party because she was really rude to me at her house.”
And the best question of all was finally addressed: Will Melissa make any new music? Melissa immediately said, “No,” which breaks my heart. There is nothing I love more than a Real Housewife original song. She later added, “I don’t think so. Joe would like me to though. He asks me all the time.” And of course Melissa pointed out, “I’m really into Envy right now.”

It has been a very difficult time for Jill Zarin’s husband Bobby Zarin in regard to his health. After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009, Bobby has struggled greatly and has even had some periods of improvement in between.
It seemed like things were finally looking up for Bobby this past year, but it’s being reported that he is struggling a lot these days.
For the record, this is information that a “a close friend” of the couple conveyed to Us Weekly. The person was not identified and there is no confirmation from Jill or Bobby that the relayed message is accurate.
This Us Weekly article reports that “the couple is keeping their heads held high during this difficult time. The source said, “Jill redid their apartment so he could be comfortable. She focused on it for the last year — spent the whole year renovating, got him an electric bed that goes up and down — to make sure that when this time came he’d be very comfortable.”
This same friend alleged that Bobby “is putting up the fight of his life.” This person also said, “Bobby is really strong. He’s really fighting. But this was inevitable and Jill knew this would eventually happen.”
Understandably, the source stated, “Jill just wants to bring him home.” As expected, Jill is doing everything she can to take care of her husband during his time of need. The pal revealed, “Jill has private nurses around the clock, and aides, plus a great doctor who comes over. Bobby’s not giving up but there’s not much more fight left.” This is just all so sad to hear. It has to be such a tough time for the Bobby, Jill, and their family and friends. Our thoughts are with Jill and her family!

We knew it would happen. Siggy Flicker threatened to test out her “empowerment and healing” techniques on innocent victims friends and family before she unleashed it on the paying public – and she did just that to The Real Housewives Of New Jersey this week. It was, as expected, a splendid sh*t show. And maybe I’m a glutton for punishment, but I’ll openly admit I loved every messy minute of it!
I still can’t help thinking this season’s cast has stepped it up a notch. Maybe it’s been Siggy losing her effing mind (which, though bizarre and troubling, has been strangely entertaining!), or perhaps it’s the reintroduction of wild card Danielle Staub, who Dolores Catania sees as a snake in the grass. In any case, we’re lucky that cameras finally stepped back from the heaviness of Teresa Giuidice’s family drama this week, instead entrapping gathering the women together for a forced getaway – always a solid gold Housewives move. Even though the trip is to Siggy’s retreat, at least Margaret Josephs is there to provide comic relief! Plus, Melissa Gorga brought three Hail Mary’s in her pocket just in case Satan caused confusion.
Margaret and her husband, Joe #3, are shopping for wallpaper. Marge doesn’t trust Joe’s style, but she brings him along for sh*ts and giggles. She will have her statement rooms and fabulosity whether he likes it or not! Margaret fills him in about her conversation with Dolores, which went well. She hopes it’s also a start to mending fences with Siggy, who was last seen sticking her tongue out at adults and doing the shimmy-shake behind Margaret’s back.
In an emotional moment, Margaret talks to Joe about her stepkids not speaking to her. They resent her because she cheated on her husband with their father (Joe) but she’s been in their lives since they were little and feels like a piece of her family has been ripped from her. Joe comforts her, hoping they’ll all come to a peaceful place soon.
Speaking of peaceful places and fake namaste zen-ishness, Teresa decides to finally get Dolores‘ side of the story on the whole Danielle accusation. They meet for drinks and, first of all, I am LIVING for this natural look Dolores is rocking! She looks beautiful in a simple bun and neutral makeup palette. Love it. Dolores is concerned that Teresa is believing Danielle over her, a loyal friend of twenty years.
Out of the gate, Teresa asks why Dolores hasn’t been loyal lately – but Dolores doesn’t see it this way. Just because she has Siggy’s back doesn’t mean she’s disloyal to Tre! Also, she says Danielle is just a “crazy b*tch” who imagined a conversation that never happened. Maybe it’s drugs, muses Dolores. Tre dumbly replies, “But she does yoga…?” as if thrusting one’s legs over one’s head precludes a person from a little medicine cabinet cocktailing.
Dolores mostly takes issue with Danielle (and to a lesser degree, Teresa) coming after her relationship with Frank. Yeah it’s a mess, but it’s HER mess! Teresa doesn’t understand it, though, and isn’t trying to. Lashing out, Dolores reminds Tre of her own prince charming, Joe Giudice, who’s currently locked up in a penitentiary – and who’s allegedly been stepping out on Teresa for years! At this insinuation, Teresa balks. “I can handle my own husband,” she flatly defends, next assuring Dolores that she will still be her friend no matter what Danielle is saying about her. Annnnnnd how did we gloss over that Joe bombshell so quickly?! Was that trick editing? Dolores insinuated he cheated, and zero tables were flipped? #Stunned
Later at Siggy’s house, Dolores listens to the many stresses of Flicker-ing. Siggy’s speaking engagements are becoming too stressful to balance with motherhood, so she’s going to start hosting retreats. Um, because this is a time saver? Does. Not. Compute. Anyhoo…the girls will all be invited as Siggy’s guinea pigs on her first dry run! Even Margaret! And Danielle! YES, ma’am. Let the healing begin. But no hugs – at least not between Dolores and Danielle.
At lunch elsewhere, Melissa and Margaret catch up a bit on kids and business, then discuss Siggy’s upcoming retreat. Margaret isn’t sure what to expect after Siggy’s batsh*t crazy behavior at the tasting, and Melissa’s still reeling from Siggy laying on the floor of her own party trying to cake-shame her. But they’re still up for going to this alleged “women’s empowerment” nonsense. Maybe Siggy will jump out of a helicopter with a brand new, un-smashed cake to start the festivities? In any case, Melissa plans to pray a lot beforehand. “And I’m the virgin Margaret,” laughs Marge.
At home packing, Siggy is planning to win Margaret over with her amazing empowerment skills. And if Margaret doesn’t love her after a weekend of having “KNOW YOUR WORTH!!!” screamed in her face, “then f**k her,” says Siggy. As Teresa and Melissa pile in the van, they wonder how Dolores and Danielle will coexist for the next 48 hours? Magic Eight Ball says: Outlook Poor. Exhibit A is offered when Danielle hops in the van and is greeted by an icy cold stare from Dolores. She is not up for this fakery.
On other fakery-fronts, Siggy has invited all of the women to her self-help weekend under the guise of peace, love, and understanding – but her Instagram post from the previous day (in which she’s holding a drawn bow and arrow!) is a rant about haters coming for her and getting revenge. Huh?
When the ladies arrive, Siggy greets them warmly then launches into her first session with Vikki (divorce lawyer, friend, co-conspirator in nebulous empowerment pyramid schemes). This class is about getting “naked” – emotionally. It’s filled with cliches about looking inside, surrounding yourself with positivity, being your own best friend! It’s essentially a fortune cookie come to life, times two.
Questions from the audience liven things up a bit, causing Siggy to launch sideways into a personal tirade against Margaret straight from the public speaking pulpit! Holy sh*t. In front of everyone, Siggy whines that she doesn’t understand why no matter what she does, this “one person” still doesn’t like her! Marge sits in the audience, mentally willing her eyes not to fully roll back into her head in disgust. “That’s f**ked up,” whispers Teresa, who even understands the nuance of publicly shaming a woman who you literally invited to a WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT RETREAT. (Omg. Siggy, girrrrrrrl. Come on! Let’s huddle up and rethink your persona this season. I want to like you, mama. But you are virtually making it impossible with this level of ridiculousness.)
Instead of checking herself, Siggy continues by then calling Margaret out directly, claiming that being bullied over her name in childhood triggered her anger about being called “Soggy.” Surprisingly, this move works. Margaret actually takes her point to heart, and because Siggy does finally admit that – yes – she has issues too, Marge also admits she feels sorry for hurting her with the name calling. Okay – we’re getting somewhere! Wait? Is this a Jedi mind trick? Did Siggy’s bizzaro empowerment/shaming speech just perform some sort of friendship miracle? I am so confused. But Margaret seems happy enough – even when she hears that she’ll be bunking with Dolores and Siggy for the weekend! Wowza.
Next, the group is headed to the “Zone Room” where you can one-stop-shop for makeup, boob jobs, and head shots! And just in case you are fresh out of “Love Yourself” Siggy (TM) t-shirts, well, those are available too. The ladies take it all in stride, actually enjoying themselves in the goofy vibe of the day. Until Teresa pulls Danielle aside to tell her she spoke with Dolores and, if push comes to shove, she will side with #TeamCatania in the end. Danielle understands her allegiance, but reiterates that she is not lying about Dolores making the comment that Tre “only cares about money.”
Just in case there isn’t enough bad blood between them yet, Teresa decides to make things worse between Danielle and Dolores by repeating the drug accusations. Danielle is no stranger to being called a druggie, prostitution wh*ore, scumbag, etc…so she let’s it roll off her back for the moment. She’ll find her time for payback later, as we well know.
After everyone settles into their rooms, Margaret and Siggy share a nice moment. They agree that their rough start sucked, but they’re willing to try again with fresh perspectives. Hmm. Jury’s still out on that until further evidence is submitted for review. But for now, it’s all good. Marge even calls Joe back home to tell him how well the trip is going. Famous last words.
At dinner later, Melissa tells Siggy and Vikki she enjoyed the session earlier, but secretly hopes the next day goes deeper than lip gloss and t-shirts. After a little banter, Danielle decides to take this moment to confront Dolores about the drug comment. Dolores stands her ground. “I don’t know, are you [on something]?” she snarks, having no time for this chick. She thinks Danielle is delusional, if not an outright liar, about what she said/didn’t say about Teresa. After a bitter back and forth about who has character, who’s still a scumbag, and who needs to back slowly away from the spray tan machine, everyone just sort of runs out of steam.
Siggy reminds them that “it’s not over!” which could be a promise or a threat, depending on how you look at it. Vikki encourages everyone to look on the bright side! There’s role playing in their futures! Kill. Me. Now. (Please…?)
The next morning at breakfast, Danielle, Teresa, and Melissa talk about Siggy making up with Margaret. Danielle calls bullsh*t on it, musing that Siggy had to use herself as an “object lesson” of mended relationships to show what an expert she is! Tre and Melissa don’t seem to care why they made up; they just need more coffee at the moment.
Outside later, Margaret tries to avoid swamp a$$ while Siggy and Vikki introduce their first group activity: The dreaded role play. Everyone must choose someone they have an issue with, tell the group why they have an issue, then pretend they are the other person. Okay, obviously this is a producer driven recipe for dumpster fire-level disaster, but…let’s proceed!
Margaret and Siggy go first, with Margaret mimicking Siggy in her best “Soggy” character, whining about cakes and pastry chefs and screeching “Joshua! Joshua! Joshua!” in a pretty spot on impression.
Of course, everyone laughs their a$$es off at Marge’s performance. Everyone but Dolores and Siggy, that is. Maybe Vikki might want to rethink the next activity…? Because this one just got flushed down the crapper.

Wow, lots to digest this week! I have been continuing to tell people to stick with this season, and I have to say that this week’s installment of Survivor was an all-around solid episode? Am I right? It had an interesting Reward that led to some pandemonium back at camp, there was a lot of strategizing going on, a secret advantage was found and played, a player that HAD to win the Immunity Challenge to survive did just that and a Tribal Council ended with a re-vote and then a surprising vote. What more can you ask for as a Survivor fan?
We’ll dig right into tonight’s episode (in a nice and calm way, not in a Chrissy/Cole sort of way…). But first, please remember that this recap assumes that you have already seen this week’s Episode 8 of Survivor: HHH, so if you have not and don’t want to be spoiled, please come back later! It’s important to add too that while we WILL hit on all of the important developments of the episode, this is not a linear “blow-by-blow” recap, and is more of a discussion and reaction of what we just witnessed together.

So I’m looking forward to hearing from all of you on your thoughts from tonight’s episode! For me, it hit all the spots – checked all the boxes – and was a very entertaining episode. Although I dislike Cole as a player, it was good to see him at least try to throw people off the scent of his Idol clue (even it putting a napkin over the plate was a pretty lame attempt) and you always have to respect when a player who absolutely needs to win Immunity does so. So kudos to Cole. I was also happy that Joe stayed in the game, although I was also a big Desi fan. Desi seemed like the sort of player worth rooting for, and a person who could have most definitely won the game had she found herself sitting at the end. We did get confirmation that she will become the first member of the jury this season, also known as the “Mayor of Ponderosa.” What’s Ponderosa? I’m glad you asked!
As I always do around this time of each season, I URGE each and every one of you to check out the Ponderosa Videos on CBS.com here. Ponderosa is the lavish resort area where the jury members live in-between appearing at Tribal Councils, and each week CBS chronicles the latest person voted out as they arrive at Ponderosa and begin to unwind from the game. The Ponderosa Videos have become absolute MUST-SEE videos for true fans of Survivor, and usually each one is under ten minutes in length. But they offer a lot of insight into the mind of the jury and are a great supplement to the actual show. So go watch the Ponderosa videos (of course, only after you finish this recap!).
But Desi is now out and Joe was spared. Why? Most likely because Joe has become the hated “villain” of this season and the majority probably agrees that Desi was much more of a threat in the game. She has proven she is a challenge beast, and she’s likable as hell…pretty much the opposite of Joe. Now don’t get me wrong, I love Joe (but as Rudy Boesch would say, not in a homosexual way). Joe is a needed element in the game, in my opinion, as without him we lose tons of opportunity for drama. Just look at how Joe was able to get underneath Ben‘s skin tonight with the whole “swearing on the Marines” thing. Joe threw something out there and it stuck, but even if in a subtle way, it exposed a side of Ben that nobody in the game has seen before. Time will tell if this may be an important development in the game, but I love that Joe is not afraid to stir the pot…but he will need to stir a bit more briskly if he wants to go deeper into the game.
As the Healers continue to get picked off, there are some very interesting developments going on elsewhere. Ryan finds an Idol, making his alliance with Devon and Chrissy even more powerful…however, from the look of the preview next week, Ben may be starting to shift his focus away from the Healers and on to Ryan. Ben targeting Ryan will put Chrissy in a very interesting predicament, but all of a sudden you have the spotlight off of both Joe and Cole. Will the alliance stick together for a bit longer to get Joe and Cole out, should they lose Immunity? The fewer Healers there are in the game, the more likely it is one of the others will turn on their own.
In what appears to be a great spot moving forward, we have Lauren. She is seemingly the smallest threat of the three remaining Hustlers, and she is obviously tight with Ben. Her “double vote” strategy may definitely come in handy moving forward and it was great watching her pull that off at Tribal right under everyone else’s noses. What did you all think of the new twist? I think it was very interesting, because it involved a player needing to take a risk in order to get a reward. She took the risk, and now will reap the benefit of the secret advantage.
We have officially entered the jury phase of the game, so it will be important for every remaining player to keep in mind that this group of people that you need to vote out will also be the ones that will be voting for you to win the million dollar prize. Of all the remaining players, I think that Cole is the only one left with no reasonable chance of winning the game…even if he were to win every single Immunity Challenge until the end (which would be an impressive, unprecedented feat), he is the rare player that I think people STILL wouldn’t vote for to win the game. Even Joe, although he is annoying everyone else, I think has the social savvy and the know-how to turn his game around. Time will tell.
Episode Take-Away: Again, I felt like this might have been the strongest episode yet this season. Tell me why I’m wrong (or why you agree with me!) in the comment section! With just three Healers remaining, the Heroes are now the majority original alliance, and time may be running out for the Hustlers to make a serious move if they plan on coming out on top. Dr. Mike, who has mostly been comic relief much of the season, has now quietly made jury and poses no threat to anyone. However, should he make it to the end, there would potentially be three fellow Healers on jury (Joe, Cole and Desi), and add those to a bitter juror or two who might want to vote for anyone other than the person that sent them out of the game (likely not Mike), I am seeing a path for Dr. Mike to possibly become the unlikeliest of Survivor winners. Could it happen?

Next Week’s Episode: Lauren does some gloating after she was able to pull off the first part of her secret advantage. Ryan has loose lips when it comes to his new-found Idol, as we see him tell both Devon and Ben…but there may be even more pandemonium next week because we are then shown Ben going to Devon with that piece of information, putting Devon in a real tight spot.
