Welcome to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15, Episode 10 recap. Last time, Rachel invited Kyle and Dorit for a Hamptons getaway. Meanwhile, Amanda hosted a manifestation party that manifested bad energy. And Dorit’s meeting with Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, to discuss her ex, PK Kemsley, did not go well. What happened in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 Episode 10?
Kyle, Dorit, and Rachel finally had a Hot Girls Summer moment in the Hamptons. Meanwhile, RHOBH alum Denise Richards told Sutton and Erika about her messy divorce from Aaron Phypers. And Erika revealed a shocking secret.
Is Amanda manifesting bad feelings from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast?
After her disastrous dinner party, Amanda and her fiancé, Eddie Tsivislavsky, downloaded the event. “If I offered to do a manifestation journaling exercise for free, anyone I know would jump at it,” the “Money Queen” stated. Lordy! Meanwhile, Eddie called the guests’ behavior “annoying.” I’m pretty sure that is how Amanda’s RHOBH co-stars feel about her at this point.
When Amanda explained how the ladies blamed her for Dorit and Kyle’s argument, Eddie opined that Amanda doesn’t know Dorit well yet. “Maybe she’s intimidated, ’cause you’re younger,” he said with a laugh. Then Amanda went low. “’Cause I’m young and successful and I’m not financially dependent on a man, and she outsourced her financial wellbeing to a man and it didn’t go well?” she remarked.
Meanwhile, Sutton and Boz met up at a park. And Boz was enjoying the new Sutton. “I’ve noticed such a stark difference between Sutton this year and Sutton last year. She listens. She’s logical,” Boz said in a confessional interview.
When they discussed the subject of manifesting, Boz stated, “Here’s the thing. What she’s doing is mostly telling people how to manifest money by taking their money.” Plus, both ladies agreed that Amanda is constantly bragging about her wealth, as if trying to prove that she belongs in the group.
Hot girls in the Hamptons in RHOBH
Kyle FaceTimed Erika from the Hamptons. Both agreed that it must be confusing for Amanda, as she was told to have an opinion, yet when she does, she is slammed for it. “I think the women are being hard on Amanda,” Kyle said in her confessional. Then Erika shared that she was meeting Sutton and Denise for dinner. Headlines about Denise’s nasty divorce from Aaron flashed on the screen.
“Then there’s that clip going around of him saying, ‘I will crush your f*cking hand,’” Kyle stated. Cue the RHOBH footage from 2020 of Denise telling Aaron to be quiet because they were on camera, and him making that disturbing comment.
Later on, the single ladies hit up a club in the Hamptons to dance the night away. It’s been years since Kyle and Dorit have had fun together. Dorit said in her confessional, “I feel like the last few years, Kyle has just started to take herself too seriously. But now she just feels lighter, like the fun Kyle is back.”
However, at dinner, Rachel saw an article about Erika heading to trial over $25 million allegedly spent during her marriage. “I’m worried about her,” Rachel said. “What do they think? They’re going to get $25 million from her back?” Kyle asked. “I’m very worried for Erika. It is a lot of weight to carry,” Kyle added in her confessional.
Much ado about the cult in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Erika showed up to visit Amanda at Kyle’s former abode. Naturally, Erika asked Amanda about the cult. So, Amanda revealed that she was very involved in a Christian youth group during high school. However, Amanda’s parents weren’t religious. “Growing up in the literal buckle of the Bible belt, in a family that wasn’t religious, I was always curious about God,” she explained in her confessional.
Amanda told Erika that she moved to Florida after the person who was involved in the youth group started a church there. “But the longer I was there, the more controlling things got. So, he like, tells people who to marry, who to date, who to be friends with,” Amanda explained. A producer asked Amanda, “Do you feel like the church was trying to isolate you from your family?” She replied, “Absolutely. My whole agenda became not to get in trouble, not be called into the pastor’s office ….”
Amanda told Erika, “Before you know it, you’re isolated. You’re controlled. You’re cut off from people.” She added, “Well, you’re giving money to the church. After about a year and a half, I started to like, think for myself. Talk to people outside the group I wasn’t supposed to talk to. Call home.”
So, on October 31, 2008, she drove from church to her sister’s house. In the end, Amanda just wanted more for her life. “I’m going to get my degrees. I’m going to make my own money, and I’m going to help people,” Amanda explained. “This is what this group needs to hear about you,” Erika stated.
Denise Richards detailed what happened during her marriage to Aaron Phypers in RHOBH
Denise joined Erika and Sutton for dinner to discuss her divorce. Both ladies reached out to Denise when the news broke. “I lost 200 pounds and got a facelift,” Denise announced. “Oh, I haven’t had that done. No, I had a lower done,” Erika stated.
Then, Erika revealed that she is still struggling amid her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s legal scandal. “I am being sued by Tom’s bankruptcy trustees. Both his personal bankruptcy and the Girardi-Keese bankruptcy trustees,” Erika explained in her interview. She claimed the action was “designed to break me, designed to drive me into bankruptcy, designed to be annoying.”
Meanwhile, Erika asked Denise about the photo of her with a black eye. “I’m going to say this. That can’t be a one-time thing,” Erika said. “No,” Denise admitted.
Naturally, Sutton asked when the abuse started. “It started, umm, I mean, a while ago. It was a slow burn, though,” Denise explained. “You know, my dad asked me, ‘Why didn’t you tell me?’ And I said, ‘I can’t share this and stay with a person.’”
Meanwhile, Denise detailed what happened the night of her breast surgery. Denise had some “fat taken out and put in my boobs,” so she also had a drain post-surgery. Following the surgery, she was still under the effects of the anesthesia. According to Denise, Aaron helped her to the bathroom.
She stated, “While I was sitting on the toilet, he was trying to get my phone and f*cking hit me on the side of my head. My drain hit the toilet paper thing. And I’m like, I start crying, I’m like … that’s when I really knew there’s no hope at ever … at ever salvaging this marriage at all.”
Erika drops a bombshell on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
When Erika asked what happened on July 4th, headlines flashed on the screen. A statement from Aaron claimed that “he never physically or emotionally abused Denise – or anyone.”
Erika remarked, “So, he’s hit you post-op – twice.” Denise said, “With a facelift. Well, that’s why I filed a restraining order and why we’re getting divorced.” Erika said, “I’m really sorry that this has happened to you.”
The singer continued, “It’s a lonely, isolating feeling. Just so you know, I went through this, too. Not with any of my husbands, but recently.” Both Sutton and Denise were shocked by Erika’s heartbreaking secret.
“It’s okay. No one knows,” Erika said. “It’s all water under the bridge.” In her confessional, Erika explained, “I met someone, and it started out fun.” However, “several months” after meeting, “it turned into chaos.”
Meanwhile, Erika wouldn’t reveal the person’s identity. “It had happened more than once. Yeah, and like the third time, I was just like, ‘This is not for me,’” Erika stated.
Then she shared one final thought. “You have no idea how shameful it is to be the mother of a police officer, and have to pick up the phone and call 911,” she said. “And then call your family member and say, ‘I think you should hear this from me first before you hear it from anyone else.’”
