Season 2 of Deal or No Deal Island serves up shocking twists left and right. And I’m here for it! There are 11 players left on the Banker’s private island. Each guest wants to take on the Banker and play against her for all the cash in the final case.
Last time, The Temple was “rocked” when Charles “Rock” Carlson took on the Banker. While he added $250,000 to the final case, he made a bad deal and was eliminated. So, let’s jump into the Season 2, Episode 4 recap of Deal or No Deal Island, “Throw and Tell.”
Is there a love connection on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2?
As everyone else went to bed, Storm told MG that they would have a “breakfast date” in the morning on the pier. La Shell has also noticed the connection between the duo.
“So, it’s actually added like a whole nother element. I’m playing Deal or No Deal Island and I’m playing Love Island together,” MG said in a confessional.
Meanwhile, Dr. Will is concerned about how much CK hates him. She just met him, and she wants him off the island immediately. That is an enemy that Dr. Will doesn’t need.
At breakfast, Dickson tried to figure out where he stands in the game. His island dad, David, reassured him that if someone targets him, they will go to “battle stations.” For some reason, Dickson’s real-life father told him that he wasn’t “entertaining” or “special” enough to land on TV.
While MG and Storm were trying to enjoy their date, the rest of their cast members looked on. Hilariously, Dad David and Mom Parvati sat down with MG to discuss the “new boy in her life.” And Parvati was perched on David’s lap. Well, that is interesting. Now, Seychelle stated that the common enemy amongst everyone is the “family” of Parvati, David, Dickson, and now possibly MG.
How do the contestants rate on Deal or No Deal Island?
Host Joe Manganiello let the players know that for this excursion, they must figure out who the biggest threats are and then target them. Each player must create a ranking of all the contestants. The biggest threat will be at the top, with the least threatening guest at the bottom.
Once they were finished, Joe stated that the Banker appreciated “boldness.” As he was asking for one volunteer, Dr. Will raised his hand. Now, Dr. Will must reveal who he selected as his biggest threat. Naturally, he listed himself. Oof. Then the group headed to the beach to find out Dr. Will’s reward.
There were round targets, each with a player’s face on it. Each target has been given a value, based on the group’s rankings. And the value went up to $5 million. The largest threat in the game has the highest value case, while the smallest threat has the lowest.
And for this challenge, the contestants must throw their axes at the two biggest threats and the two smallest threats. If a player hits one of those four targets, they have immunity at The Temple.
However, the guest who hits the largest threat and secures the $5 million case will decide who plays against the Banker. There will be two rounds of competition. If multiple guests hit a target, the person closest to the bullseye wins that case.
Dr. Will offers someone a deal
Dr. Will went first, and he threw an ax at his own face. Brutal! He nailed it, just outside the bullseye. Next, Phillip tried for Seychelle and barely hit her target. Then Seychelle targeted herself and hit inside the bullseye. She was no joke!
Of course, CK targeted Dr. Will. But before she could throw her ax, Dr. Will offered her a deal. He wouldn’t put her up to play the Banker if she picked another target. But if she targets Dr. Will, and misses, then he will figure out a way for her to play the Banker. In the end, CK agreed and shook his hand, but the hatred was real.
If someone didn’t claim a target, they were at risk of facing the Banker. Storm had to hit the final target, and it happened to be MG’s. She went over to give some advice and rubbed Storm’s shoulders.
“I feel like I’m a chaperone right now,” Joe said. Truth! Storm managed to hit MG’s face, so everyone had a case. Huzzah!
Who has the highest value case on Deal or No Deal Island?
Everyone opened their cases. As he predicted, Dr. Will had $5 million. It turned out that he was listed as the highest threat, followed by Parvati. At the other end of the spectrum were Seychelle and La Shell.
So, Dr. Will and Parvati are safe, as are MG and Seychelle. And Dr. Will will decide who faces the Banker from the rest of the cast.
Dr. Will wants to get rid of CK, but he can’t put her up to face the Banker. So, he chatted with Storm, Phillip, and Seychelle. They came up with the idea of convincing Dickson that CK wants him out. But will Parvati and David have an issue with their island son playing the Banker?
Storm approached Dickson with the idea of facing the Banker and sending CK home. Finally, Dr. Will told Dickson that guests were mentioning his name. Now Dickson is ready to make a big move.
Who will face the Banker in The Temple?
Dickson Wong faces off against the Banker in Deal or No Deal Island Season 2, Episode 4.
Dickson chose number four for his case. He picked the next cases by the numbers of his favorite Deal or No Deal models. Then he picked number seven to pay homage to Luke, who was the first player eliminated from the game.
In the first round, he knocked off three numbers from the left side. The Banker called and gave an opening offer of $421,000. He decided to play on. Even Joe admired his “big Dickson energy.” After this round, Dickson knocked off all the low numbers on the left side except for one.
The Banker was upset and offered him $1,450,000. A cocky Dickson refused the offer and kept going. Finally, he had two large numbers remaining on the board.
The Banker’s offer was $3,200,000, but Dickson declined it. If he has the $5 million in his case, then he stays in the game. If not, Dickson will go home. He has the $5 million, and the crowd goes wild!
In a Deal or No Deal Island record, $5 million will be added to the final case, making the value $5,531,001.
Who was eliminated in Deal or No Deal Island, Season 2, Episode 4?
Storm Wilson was the fourth player eliminated in Deal or No Deal Island Season 2.
Dickson said, “I feel like I’m one of those people that came to play, and I think what’s best for my game … the best chance for me to win this game is to, unfortunately, take out Storm. So, I’m really sorry, dude.” He added, “But at the end of the day, I came to play this season. So, let’s go.”
Everyone was shocked, including MG. “Brother, did you see that coming?” Joe asked Storm. He admitted that he didn’t. “I’m shocked because I thought y’all were friends,” MG said.
“I had a great time on the island, you know? It would have been great to win the money, but I came here for the experience,” Storm said. “See you guys on the other side.” Then, Dickson told Storm that he was still coming to visit and hang out. Sure, dude.
In his final confessional, Storm said, “I can honestly say that I don’t think anybody saw that coming. It blindsided me.” But before Storm left, MG crashed his confessional, asking, “Can I get something before you go?” And they kissed.
However, Dickson just put a giant target on himself and the “family.” Dr. Will is furious that Dickson lied to him, and he wants payback.
Deal or No Deal Island continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
