Pierce Brosnan Dismisses Question About James Bond’s Christmas Plans

Pierce Brosnan, best known for playing the iconic James Bond, had an interesting answer to Bond’s Christmas plans. Notably, Brosnan played the role of Bond in four movies before passing the baton to Daniel Craig in 2006.

Pierce Brosnan has this to say about James Bond’s Christmas plans

Pierce Brosnan couldn’t care less about James Bond’s Christmas plans. In an interview published on December 19, the interviewer asked Brosnan whether he thinks Bond would enjoy Christmas or not. To which, the 72-year-old actor replied sharply, “Of course he would enjoy Christmas!” (The Times).

However, when the interviewer asked whether Bond would skip the holidays, the actor responded with a nonchalant attitude. He said, “I don’t really want to answer the question, and I’m not going to answer the question. Because I couldn’t give a f***! Why would I waste my time thinking about where James Bond would be at Christmas?”

Moreover, the 72-year-old Irish actor instead detailed his own holiday plans. He remarked, “I know where Pierce Brosnan’s going to be spending Christmas! At home with my wife, in my little island retreat in Hawaii!”

However, as the MobLand star moved on to talking about his Hawaii home, he suddenly realized he may have crossed the line. He retracted a few steps back and apologized to the reporter for his reaction to the Bond question.

He shared, “I’m sorry for not being able to help you with James Bond. It’s something that’ll go on until the day is done.”

Continuing further, he confessed that he’s equally excited to see who will step into the iconic 007’s shoes next. He explained, “[Sean] Connery was the same: ‘Don’t ever ask! Don’t ever ask!’ But, you know, I’m as excited as the next man or woman to find out who’s going to play that role again. It’s always exciting. I loved Sean, I loved Roger [Moore], Daniel [Craig] is amazing, and Tim Dalton was amazing, too. There are many great candidates out there, and I’m sure they’re going to make it a spectacle of delight.”

Additionally, the Irish actor admitted that he has never watched the James Bond movies with any of his sons. He said, “I don’t look at the movies. I’ve never seen the Bond movies with my boys. I don’t know why. They’re just tucked away.”

Kelce continued that whatever role he ends up playing, he’s just ecstatic for the couple and happy to be part of their big day.

The Kelce brothers have always had each other’s backs. Jason famously served as Travis’s best man at his previous wedding. “Time will tell if there is one or anything like that. I’ve been given no details on that front. But, you know, I think however I’m involved, I’ll be happy to be. And I’m just happy for those two,” Jason shared.
