Welcome to the recap for Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 9. Last week, Ashley put her best foot forward performing her new pop song. And the cast gave golf claps. It was D-Day for Karen’s courtroom appearance until it ended up getting postponed. Wendy’s 40th birthday celebration continued, with things getting tense between Stacey and TJ at the party. Gizelle confronted Mia about posting photos with Inc and Gordon after she told everyone they were on pause. In typical Mia fashion, she left the group stunned with her response. Here’s exactly what went down in RHOP Season 9, Episode 9: “Mediation Nation.”

Mediation was the word of the day on this week’s episode of RHOP. Things were about to get messier than expected for Stacey during her divorce proceedings. Ashley also had her mediation, and it didn’t go as well as she had hoped. Keiarna and Greg seemed to have troubles brewing under the surface of their relationship. Mia was not going to let the mouse go on Gizelle calling out her social media post to the group. So she spilled some tea about Gizelle’s daughters to retaliate. This was so not going to end well for Mia.

Wendy received a citation from the Governor … and that’s a good thing

We rolled right back to where we left off at Wendy’s birthday party. Mia shocked the group when she said, “The fathers of my children can get along.” A perplexed Stacey asked, “I thought Gordon was your children’s father?” Mia dished she had been married before. This seemed to calm things down until Jacqueline interjected to defend her. However, Mia was not pleased with her number one response and told her to go back from whence she came.

Wendy got her citation or proclamation, depending on who you asked, from the Governor of Maryland. Karen joked citations were reserved strictly for her. But Stacey was sure it was a proclamation. She said, “It is not a citation! How does Wendy have four degrees?” Stacey throws shade and doesn’t even know it, bless. But Wendy was thrilled with the moment. And just as thrilled when she introduced her children to Eddie’s sisters.

Meanwhile, Ashley called the cavalry over to talk with Stacey about her upcoming mediation. Stacey was sure it was going to be all unicorns and rainbows regarding their financial discussion. In her confessional, Gizelle shared she knew where all the bodies were buried. She said, “So getting divorced, I wasn’t going into it blind. Because these men try to make sure you have nothing. Stacey girl, you’re in danger.” But Stacey was positively positive her man was not like the rest.

Gizelle caught up with her daughter Grace over some boozy ice cream. She was ok being an empty nester, but what hit her hard was losing her father at the same time. However, she and Grace were closer than ever before. Gizelle asked if she thought the twins would crack during their first year of college, and Grace predicted it would only take two weeks. But Grace was proud of herself; she successfully completed her first year.

Meanwhile, Ashley dropped off her kiddos at camp. She had to go to her mediation with Michael. And she was truly frightened that the worst-case scenario of not seeing her kids for weeks at a time might come true.

Keiarna went to visit Greg at his work. And he immediately put her to work. She said, “Greg thinks he’s my boss, but I don’t really take that serious. I think it’s kind of cute.” But Greg’s comments were anything but cute. After being asked when Greg would make it official with her, he said, “If she start acting right, man, she can become a Diggs.” Then he sat down at his desk and said, “I like to boss you around.” As Gizelle previously said, “Girl, you’re in danger!”

She then told Greg her personal injury case was going well. In her confessional, Keiarna shared that the altercation with Deborah had made him hesitant for her to be a part of this friend group. Well, time to buckle up. She is holding that flute now!

Ashley and Stacey met up with Wendy, Gizelle, and Karen for lunch to discuss their mediation meetings. Stacey thanked the group for their advice back at Wendy’s party. She admitted she hadn’t paid a bill in fifteen years and was shocked to learn about various accounts during their financial discussion. Stacey added this was the first of several mediations to come.

Ashley’s was a long nine-hour session, and the only thing they could agree on was custody of the kids. The blocker was Michael did not want Ashley to talk about him on the show. This was a no-go. Karen advised, “She got a bargaining chip; he wants her silence. Well, that’s called alimony. Ding, ding, ding, Ashley! Get paid!”

Karen’s daughter, Rayvin, flew in from NY just to have lunch with her. In her confessional, Karen said, “Every day I look at Rayvin; I could not be happier for her. She’s living her best life and thriving in her marketing career. I want to be in her purse and go with her.” Karen loved that Rayvin was taking care of herself first.

And that’s what she realized she needed to do as well. She told her some of the girls had been “messy and judgmental” about the accident. Rayvin concluded that if they aren’t worried about her well-being, then they are not her friends. However, two things can be true at once.

Mia and Jacqueline were doing their best Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle impressions when Mia took her shopping. According to Mia, Jacqueline was “a country girl” who may or may not have worn shoes growing up. But Jacqueline was happy with her “sugar mommy” and her rom-com outfit change montage. Mia then let her get in one word about Patrick before bringing it back to herself. She was not pleased with Gizelle asking her about her social media post at Wendy’s party. There would definitely be a conversation to be had between the two.

Ashley invited the group to watch her rappel down a building for charity. While she let out her inner Spider-Man, Mia told Gizelle she didn’t think it was appropriate to question her social media posts in front of the group. Pot calling kettle much? Mia then brought up that Gizelle’s daughters were “sneaking in boys,” and she didn’t post that on social. In her confessional, Gizelle said Mia was “losing her mind,” and she was not going to “lash out on me and my daughters.” Mia looked satisfied with her dig, but she really just made things worse between them. Gizelle concluded, “I’m actually just taking it all in. Because after it’s all in, I will react.”

Real Housewives of Potomac continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.

Why Sister Wives’ David Woolley Testing Christine Brown in Moab Was Cringey

Christine Brown Sister Wives

For Christine Brown, her love story with David Woolley is nothing short of a fairy tale. She returned to her Utah roots after a toxic marriage to Kody Brown. It was there she fell in love with the widowed contractor. As we know, the rest is history. After a slap in the face to Kody and a Sister Wives wedding special, fans are finally able to see their relationship play out in the newest season. But the most recent episode had fans doing a double-take when it came to David.

David Woolley performed a labor of love

Listen, I like David and Christine together. Do I think they moved extremely fast? Yes. Do I think they should tone down their PDA? God, yes! But I have always been rooting for Christine to find her prince charming and forever love. However, this week’s episode of Sister Wives really made Christine look thirsty. Like, get this woman some water, thirsty. While still very much in their honeymoon phase, the couple went out to visit a wedding venue in Moab, Utah. I had to pause the show for a second and double-check my facts because, at this point and time, the couple was not engaged. Honestly, it was a bit much to take, and I felt just as uncomfortable as Ysabel Brown and Truely Brown looked.

It was clear David was testing his future wife. He had been out to this venue plenty of times and with other women. In his TLC confessional, he noted, “I like Moab. I like climbing. What I like about Moab is you’re going like 200 million years ago when the dinosaurs roamed.” I mean, the venue was gorgeous! But everything seemed to be moving so quickly. David added, “I wanted to share it with somebody. In fact, I’ve gone down there and taken a few ladies, and they never want to go back. So I said, ‘The one who will love Moab like I do, that’s the one I’ll marry.’”

Christine Brown is the early bird, and she’s getting the worm

I didn’t love the fact that David was clearly setting Christine up. The tour and motive felt incredibly cringey, and I wish producers had cast the situation in a better light. But all I can assume is the pair had a private conversation off-camera that led to the venue hunt. Even though the Brown children may be hesitant to run their mother down the aisle, for a couple over 50, this timeline does add up. Christine and David didn’t want to waste time. Frankly, Christine has been insufferable when it comes to David. She and her now husband have posted obnoxious social media posts, usually aimed at Kody.

But it looks like David and Christine are smitten with one another. David shared that no one took care of him like Christine had. And even though his kids also balked at the idea of marriage, David joked, “Why wait? We have a lot of vacations to go on.” It turns out David might have been the aggressor who rushed the marriage since he asked about looking for rings relatively quickly.

Christine Brown purposefully left Meri Brown off the invite list

As we know, Christine and David ended up tying the knot on October 7, 2023. And even though their wedding had over 200 guests, three people were noticeably excluded. Naturally, Robyn Brown and Kody did not have an invitation. But Meri Brown was shunned, too. Christine shared during the most recent Sister Wives episode, “We’ll invite Janelle to our wedding, Janelle’s kids. Leon Brown, for sure, Meri’s child. I am not ready to be around Meri and Robyn and Kody yet.”

But Kody was not unaware of Christine’s movements. In a confessional, he shared, “I’ve heard rumors about Christine dating. I’ve heard rumors that he’s Christine’s soulmate. She’s very excited about the relationship. I’m offended for her on the idea that she’d be stuck with me for eternity when her soulmate was out there to be found.” As her one-year wedding anniversary just passed, Christine seemed happier than ever and undeterred by David’s no-so-secret plan to weed her out.

Why 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 Was the Spinoff’s Best

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way S6

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 is almost complete. Season 6 had a good run that featured six couples with a variety of backstories. Shekinah Garner and Sarper Guven ended the season on a high, after getting engaged in Turkey. The Tell All revealed that Sarper is currently in the US with Shekinah. On the other hand, Statler Riley and Dempsey Wilkinson’s relationship unfortunately didn’t work out. Neither woman was invited to the Tell All.

James Solis and Meitalia Tantri Solis were one of four new couples this season. The two attempted to move to Meitalia’s home country of Indonesia but later decided a life in the US made more sense. Joanne DiGesu intended to move to Ireland to be with her husband Sean, although this later fell through when her children expressed doubts about the plan. On the other hand, Josh moved to China, where he joined his wife, Lily. Finally, Corona Blakey returned home to Philadelphia following her failed efforts to move to Iceland for Ingi Hilmar

The Other Way Season 6 was much more interesting to watch than previous seasons of the spin-off. Here’s why it’s our favorite season so far!

In previous seasons of The Other Way, some storylines were repetitive or overall, just not enjoyable. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case with Season 6. While not all the relationships worked out this season, every couple brought something to the table.

Shekinah and Sarper were an enjoyable watch all season. Though their relationship was overshadowed by jealousy at times, the two have a unique dynamic and are without a doubt in love. On the other hand, while Statler and Dempsey might not have worked out, it was fascinating to see their van journey through Europe. James and Meitalia were another fun watch, as it was interesting to learn more about the rich culture of Indonesia through their segments.

Joanne and Sean’s segments were equally entertaining, as they didn’t have as much drama as the other couples. It was also intriguing to see more of Ireland, which hasn’t been shown on The Other Way before. By the same token, it was cool to see the different sides of Iceland through Corona and Ingi’s story. Finally, Josh and Lily’s segments explored Chinese culture, which also hasn’t had much exposure in the franchise. New countries are key for successful seasons of The Other Way!

The Americans on Season 6 made genuine efforts to move abroad

On previous seasons of The Other Way, the Americans haven’t always been entirely dedicated to moving abroad. Given the premise of the spin-off, that has been frustrating to watch. However, during Season 6, all six Americans truly intended to make living abroad work. While most of them weren’t able to do so long-term, they did put their best foot forward.

Shekinah lived in Turkey with Sarper for months, which shows she tried her best to do so. Similarly, Statler sold her car and many belongings to relocate to Europe permanently. James and Josh quit their jobs and did their best to adjust to life in Indonesia and China respectively. Corona also intended to live in Iceland permanently and considered giving up midwifery school. Finally, Joanne fully planned on moving to Ireland until her sons told her they were worried about it.

The Other Way Season 6 highlighted the real struggles of moving abroad

Another area where Season 6 excelled was showing genuine struggles of moving abroad. During previous seasons of The Other Way, some segments have felt more like vacations instead of moving abroad. Season 6, however, did a great job showing the realities the six Americans faced.

Shekinah had a hard time not speaking the language Turkish in Turkey, which is an obstacle with moving to non-English speaking countries. Similarly, Corona was surprised to learn that midwifery school in Iceland would only be taught in Icelandic. Josh and James both struggled with not working, due to language barriers and visa issues. Statler was surprised to learn about the currency conversions from dollars to euros, which is also a very real problem.
