Who would have ever thought that Kate Chastain was actually capable of upsetting Captain Lee Rosbach? Hell has frozen over on tonight’s Below Deck episode. Kate irks almost every crew member and the captain himself. She takes forever to get ready for a pool day during the cast’s day off. Who takes that long to put on a bikini and sunglasses? At least Kate has Rhylee Gerber on her side, even though she’s loathed by most of the crew members and probably isn’t the best ally.
After a crew night out, Brian de Saint Pern tells Kate that he feels the term “yachtie” is disrespectful. He nicely asks her not to describe him with that word, but Kate didn’t seem to care and kept saying it anyway. This prompted Brian to tell Kate that she’s “kind of a bitch.”
Ashton Pienaar is so over Kate’s shit. He cannot handle the diva attitude and her blatant disrespect for Captain Lee. Tanner Sterback is over Kate too, but he has some drama of his own.
Word gets back to Simone Mashile that Tanner has been sharing details of their hookup with the entire crew. Obviously, Simone is upset by this, but is she annoyed enough to stop sleeping in Tanner’s bed? I doubt it, but we shall see.
A hookup that has received way less attention (because Brian is way more respectful than Tanner) is the pairing of Brian and Courtney Skippon. Their sleepover sessions have been completely glossed over in the editing…and by Rhylee. Rhylee has her set sights on Brian and his abs, a sentiment that she shared in front of Courtney. Will Brian stick with Courtney? Or will he go for Rhylee?

Someone is having a boo-hoo moment on Real Housewives of Orange County and for once it isn’t Tamra Judge. The subject, however, is her son Ryan Vieth. It’s been kind of a Ryan-heavy season thus far on RHOC. Tamra’s eldest kid has been struggling with being a dick personal issues for quite some time.
During a recent episode, we saw Ryan visit a life coach at his mother’s suggestion. Naturally, the intimate moment was filmed and Tamra’s storyline Ryan’s perceived vulnerability was put on display. Unfortunately, the angle they were going for might not have been reached. Viewers were rubbed the wrong way by Ryan blaming his upbringing for his unemployment lack of structure. One person stuck up for Ryan, that being kiss-ass Tamra’s buddy Gina Kirschenheiter. After saying Ryan “gets a bad rap” and complimenting his parenting, Ryan had a response for Gina.
No good deed goes unpunished. Poor Gina is learning the hard way this season. When it seemed no one was on Ryan’s side, Gina stuck up for the guy. During an interview with Tamra, Ryan’s name came up and Tamra addressed his issues. Gina added to Tamra’s comments about Ryan being misunderstood, “I think [Ryan] gets a bad rap,” Gina explained. “I don’t know Ryan very well but I have hung out with him a handful of times and he’s like a really nice, sweet, polite guy… a very good dad.” Seems nice, right? Not to Ryan, he had a total meltdown and pretty much negates everything Gina said. Well, she tried.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Ryan wrote, “I see these bullsh*t articles floating around where [Gina Kirschenheiter] says that she’s hung out with me. I’ve never hung out with her ever in my life.” Oh look, it’s our old pal red flag. Ryan said, “The only times I’ve ever seen or been around her has been at parties while filming and I’ve maybe said hi or hello, that’s it.” Yes dear, and Gina suggested nothing more than that.
Now the pièce de résistance from Ryan, “Why the f**k do these cast members continue to talk about me?” ASK YOUR MOM. Or better yet, ask Sidney Barney. He also shared, “It’s childish that I have to deal with my daughter’s mother [Sarah Rodriguez] now telling me how I am a liar, a piece of sh*t and I’ve had some sort of relationship with this woman because of some stupid f**king article these idiot bloggers put out.” Sorry dude but if the ex thinks you’re a lying piece of shit, it isn’t Gina’s fault.
Ryan rambled went on to request a retraction to Gina’s comments. That red flag is a-wavin’… “Someone needs to make a public statement and correct this bullshit because I don’t get paid enough for this f**cking sh*t!” Jan, are you okay? Is the guy with no job now complaining about getting money to stand in the background at mommy’s parties?
All of the red flags are blowing directly in Gina’s face because Ryan messaged her. “So I see there’s a bunch of articles out there saying that you and I have hung out together,” he wrote. “When have I ever [been] around you besides the few times while filming at parties? Now I have Sarah going off on me calling me a liar and that [I’ve] hung out with you because you put out some stories about us hanging out.”
I’m sure Gina is feeling very secure right about now… He took a screenshot of the message and posted that with the caption, “Someone get [Gina’s] attention and get this bullsh*t corrected because [I’ve] never hung out with this girl ever in my life and now she’s caused bullsh*t between Sarah and I,” he demanded. Tamra, come get your child.
This seems to warrant the words, “yikes” or “go to the panic room”, certainly far from echoing the “really nice, polite, sweet guy” sentiment Gina originally shared. She has not commented on the exchange and hopefully, she won’t. Gina might not be the best judge of character, but Ryan’s vitriolic response to her flattering remarks certainly guarantee she won’t make the same mistake again.

The Real Housewives of Dallas Season 4 reunion is approaching. Andy Cohen and the ladies gathered to relive the major moments from the season in New York City last week. The network hasn’t released one frame of footage, but they did share one super important detail: the seating chart.
We all expected LeeAnne Locken and D’Andra Simmons to be on opposite couches. They have been feuding for two seasons at this point, wearing us all out in the process. However, they did not wind up with the chairs next to Andy this year. My guess is that he was just sparing his ears from the inevitable shouting by sitting next to people who are more soft-spoken. Or maybe, just maybe, another feud eclipses the LeeAnne vs. D’Andra drama as the rest of Season 4 plays out.
Get ready for this one: Stephanie Hollman and Kameron Westcott secured the highly coveted “hot seat” spots next to Andy. For years, Real Housewives fans have viewed these positions as indications of importance and seniority. However, it does usually mean that these people will get the toughest questions and get into the most arguments. You win some, you lose some, right?
Honestly, I just don’t think the Kameron vs. Stephanie drama is truly that deep. They just don’t communicate in a way that works for the other one. They just weren’t meant to be friends and it should be that simple, but, of course, it is not. I am just surprised by all of their back and forth on social media and in the press. I wonder if Stephanie regrets using the phrase “surface-level friend” at this point? This just seems like way too much drama over something that just doesn’t seem to be a huge deal in the grand scheme of things.
Sitting next to Stephanie is LeeAnne, who is probably livid to give up that seat beside Andy. Next to LeeAnne, is Brandi Redmond, who had a great season with very little arguing and regrettable decisions. I expect her to coast through that reunion, defending Stephanie when she can.
On the other couch, we have Kary Brittingham in that second chair right next to Kameron. Are the Bravo execs just trying to serve LeeAnne and D’Andra slices of humble pie by relegating them to lesser seats than they had in previous reunions? Yes, D’Andra is at the very end of the couch, instead of a rookie Housewife. Ouch. Not only that, but D’Andra’s mother Momma Dee Simmons is probably making an appearance… and pushing D’Andra’s spot further down the couch.
As far as I know, Cary Deuber doesn’t get a seat on either couch. Yes, she is a “Friend of the Housewives” this season, but she had zero drama. She didn’t bring the storylines the way Vicki Gunvalson and Marlo Hampton do in that same role.

LeeAnne Locken is the perfect Housewife villain. The Real Housewives of Dallas star has been stirring things up on the show for four seasons. LeeAnne can go from to sticky sweet to stick you in the back with an emotional knife in three seconds. You never quite know what is going to set her off–which is part of the fun–and part of the terrifying carnival thrill ride that is LeeAnne.
This year, newbie Housewife Kary Brittingham has raised LeeAnne’s ire for some reason. The relationship between the two started turning sour during the casts’ trip to Kary’s beautiful family home in Mexico, with LeeAnne seemingly ungrateful at every turn. On the current cast trip to Thailand, things have gone from bad to worse, with Kary and D’Andra Simmons’ cruel ribbing of LeeAnne’s L’Infinity dress at dinner. And in response, LeeAnne demonstrated some very unseemly behavior–taking ugly digs at Kary’s cultural background behind her back.
So, what does LeeAnne think about her behavior in retrospect? In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, LeeAnne defended her track record in inclusiveness. She stated, “Everything I do in my life, anybody who knows me anywhere around the country — from WeHo to Dallas — knows that I believe in inclusion and equality, and I will fight and die for making that happen.”
Was LeeAnne fighting for inclusion and equality when she angrily called out Kary for being “Mexican and strong” after the dress incident? It was pretty clear that LeeAnne used the words in a derogatory way in her conversation with Stephanie Hollman after she had left the group dinner.
Thailand is not the first time LeeAnne has made statements that seem to belie her belief in inclusion and equality. During season 2, LeeAnne made allegations that Cary Deuber’s husband Mark Deuber was engaging in sexual activity at a Dallas gay bar, the Round Up. LeeAnne later apologized, but the damage was already done.
Surprisingly, LeeAnne seems tone-deaf in her understanding of the ugly comments she made about Kary. She went on to say, “I don’t know how you can have that label [racist] and an ‘ally’ label. And I tell you what, I love my ally label and I’ll never lose it.”
Clearly, LeeAnne has a passion for charity work and genuinely seems to want to help others. However, she doesn’t appear to understand that you can be an ally–and also make insensitive comments. The two are not mutually exclusive, LeeAnne.
It is dismaying that LeeAnne does not seem to be taking any accountability for her comments and behavior. LeeAnne’s mocking of Kary’s accent in the cab ride with Stephanie on this week’s episode demonstrated her cultural insensitivity towards Kary wasn’t a one-time thing.
It has been difficult to like LeeAnne this season. At her wedding to Rich Emberlin, she appeared rude and dismissive to her mother. LeeAnne also brings up her horrible childhood at the drop of a hat–and has been operating in full victim mode all season. You have to wonder what gives. It will be interesting to see if her castmates hold her accountable at the reunion.

The Simone Mashile and Tanner Sterback hookup on Below Deck last week brings to mind lowered expectations and the smell of stale vomit. It was out of left field that Tanner would pursue Simone since previously said that he was wary of crushes. Perhaps after Chief Stew Kate Chastain turned him down, Tanner chose to act on the only willing participant in close proximity.
Interestingly, this hookup completely overshadowed the fact that Courtney Skippon and Brian de Saint Pern’s relationship has progressed to sharing a bunk for the night. But, Brian is not one to kiss and tell so it’s a complete non-story. In contrast, Tanner has no bones about sharing the details of his physical encounter with Simone.
Captain Lee Rosbach probably didn’t want to comment on this sloppy mess, but this 30 seconds of reality TV seemed to stand out the most from the last episode. In his blog, Captain Lee addressed Tanner about his disrespectful and unprofessional hookup debriefing with Ashton Pienaar and Rhylee Gerber.
Captain Lee wrote, “Well, lets get started, Tanner, I’m not sure how someone gets so drunk, puke their guts out and then keep going like nothing has happened. Must be the youth gene. I found your PDA rather tasteless with Simone, especially after you have been throwing up for quite sometime. I also found your comments on the back deck about your sexual exploits to fall in the same tasteless category.”
One notable detail about this amorous encounter was the alleged lack of reciprocity. Tanner claimed that he got a, “12 second hand-job” out of it all. Captain Lee pointed out that Simone may feel badly about Tanner sharing this info with the crew. Captain Lee opined, “I’m sure when Simone finds out about it she will be rather embarrassed about it as she should. You didn’t display much class there at all, and neither did the crew by sitting around and laughing about it, like it was a spectator sport, but perhaps thats just me being old school. Could be, but thats the way I roll. I have no issues with your work that you do, but your social skills could use some work and you are def not alone here at all.”
Captain Lee then sympathized with Simone. This will come home to roost next episode when Simone finds out what Tanner has been saying. She will probably not react positively. Captain Lee wrote, “Simone, I feel bad for you when you do find out that your sexual exploits are the topic of conversation for the rest of the deck crew including their supervisor Ashton. I don’t feel that he set the proper example for his crew by taking that conversation and letting it continue and in fact encouraging it at your expense.”
In the spirit of professionalism, Ashton should not have encouraged Tanner to reveal his sex-ploits at work. According to Captain Lee, Ashton has been managing the workload well, but lacks the insight to deal with such matters. He wrote, “Ashton, I don’t think you had a great week. I thought instead of encouraging that conversation on the aft deck, it could have been a teaching moment for Tanner. But for you to not do that and actually encourage him to repeat it to Rhylee was not a good look for anyone. You are getting the work done, but I feel that your leadership is a bit lacking this week and I think it will come back on you at some point.”
What makes for better reality TV than immature people with poor judgement going about their day? This amounted to about 30 seconds of airtime, and it was the moment of last week’s episode. Better yet, it will certainly lead to more drama!
Captain Lee concluded, “and in my opinion Tanner discussing his sexual exploits with a group of people without the knowledge or consent of the other person is in extremely poor taste and he should have been called on it by his superior, that would be you [Ashton]. Simone doesn’t deserve that type of treatment. Like I said I expected better from everyone.”

It’s obvious that Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd did not make amends filming the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 reunion. They’ve been shading each other left and right ever since.
Recently, Shannon (supposedly) claimed that Rick Leventhal proposed to Kelly with the ring that Jim Bellino gave to his ex-fiancée. Yeah, apparently Jim was engaged to someone other than Alexis Bellino.
A fan was at a live appearance with Shannon and former Bravolebrity/chronic thirst monster Jeff Lewis, that they’re both bound to get in trouble for, if they haven’t been reprimanded already. The fan posted about the event in a Bravo fan Facebook group. Shannon allegedly said that Jim sold the ring to Kelly.
This just makes zero sense. Jim and Kelly are barely even friends. They just have some common enemies (cough cough Shannon) and follow each other on social media. Why would Jim sell a ring to Kelly? Rick has that Fox News money. He doesn’t need some hand-me-down ring with bad juju from a complete stranger.
Someone in the Facebook group snitched to Kelly and sent her a screenshot from the fan’s posting. Kelly included that screenshot in a tweet and wrote “WTH is wrong with Shannon? My fiancé @rickleventhal bought my ring from Lana Neiman from the diamond district [in] NYC. You jealous moron!”
Kelly ended up deleting the tweet, of course. However, I don’t think it was out of any regret for insulting Shannon. She probably took it down because the screenshot included the full name of an innocent fan who attended a podcast taping (that is also why Reality Tea chose not to include the screenshot in our article).
Shannon needs to do less or try harder. Every time she tries to come for Kelly, she falls flat. The woman should just stop trying or at least do a better job when she comes for Kelly.

Real Housewives of Orange County’s Kelly Dodd is joining a long list of other Bravolebrities who have tax problems. The problem is they aren’t paying their taxes. Has Teresa Giudice taught her nothing?
I wonder who is the most hated? The IRS or Vicki Gunvalson? Either way both are on a mission to get what they want from Kelly. Vicki wants relevancy. The IRS wants their money. However, Vicki and Kelly just made up, but will it last?
I think the federal government might be the biggest fan of the Real Housewives franchise. All they need to do is sit down and watch the shows to see what the women, and their families, are spending their money on.
RHOBH alum Kim Richards owed money to the IRS. Then there was RHOA OG Sheree Whitfield and her money woes. Oh, and NeNe Leakes also experienced some problems. Then Real Housewives of New JerseyalumJaqueline Laurita was selling her home to settle a tax lien. And we know all about Teresa Giudice’s tax evasion. Margaret Josephs was also hit with a tax lien. And the list goes on.
Well, Kelly is the next housewife to get in the IRS cross hairs because according to court documents obtained by The Blast, the IRS has filed a lien against Kelly and her ex-husband Michael Dodd. Allegedly, Kelly and her ex owe taxes to the tune of $23,386.62 for 2015 and 2016. The lien was filed against the former couple’s home. And if the amount is not paid, the IRS can start to seize assets.
I wonder how long it will take before the Tres Amigas start to tweet gleefully over Kelly’s troubles? Don’t worry though. Vicki would probably claim it was a “rumor” she heard and passed along. It wasn’t really HER fault.
Then Kelly will lash out against Vicki’s looks. Vicki will start crying. Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador, aka The Three Stooges, will band together over wine and a cheese platter and talk about how horrid it all is. Meanwhile, Tamra will be live tweeting the entire conversation. I think I have mapped out the next story line for them.

We’ve all heard the rumors that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is “boring” without Lisa Vanderpump on the show. This is a surprise to no one because, let’s be honest, the show was “boring” for a few seasons after Brandi Glanville left. And, until it got dragged out for far too long, puppygate was actually the most excitement on the show in a while.
Now, LVP’s frienemy Lisa Rinna is strongly implying that Vanderpump was responsible for leaking the rumors. Lisa Vanderpump, leaking a story to the press? She has never done that…
Rinna was a guest on Brad Goreski’s podcast called Brad Behavior. Brad asked, “Do you think that [rumor is] coming from a specific source?” In response, Rinna asked, “What do you think Brad? What I’m going to say is you should tune in.” This was right after they discussed LVP’s exit, so it did seem like Rinna and Brad were hinting that LVP was the leak.
Rinna commented, “What I can say is everything you’re hearing about nothing going on and it is a boring season, I’m going to say that’s not true.”
She also seemingly shaded the puppygate and pantygate storylines. Rinna said, “There’s a lot of different things going on. The show is great because we’ve moved forward and new stories are being told and you’re getting to know new cast members. That’s always fresh and exciting.” Let’s hope so. I have no idea what to expect from Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke.
But, I do know that Brandi, Kim Richards, and Eileen Davidson have filmed cameo appearances. Were they just upholding the annual tradition of showing up? Or are they just around to amp up the drama?
Camille Grammer is even back on board after she got fired and ranted about how RHOBH has become Kyle Richards‘ show. After the past few seasons, the bar is low for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, I am hoping for the best. Regardless of how good it is, I’m still going to watch.
Ultimately, Rinna said, “Let’s face it. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the star of the show. We are all interchangeable.” Something tells me that the Lisa Vanderpump Stans are not gonna be happy about that remark.
