Bones star David Boreanaz recently recounted his first meeting with late acting legend Betty White. He described how she made an unusual impression on him via a lewd comment during their first interaction. Fans have since reacted to White’s comment. In the series, she essayed Dr. Beth Mayer, a forensic anthropologist who aided the eponymous protagonist, played by Emily Deschanel. The character appeared in two episodes of the investigative drama.

The Angel actor recently appeared on the Bones: 20th Anniversary Retrospective Panel, alongside his fellow cast members from the series. The panel, which celebrated the series’ 20th anniversary, was held at the inaugural Televerse Festival on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

During the panel, David Boreanaz recounted a story detailing his first interaction with Betty White. He noted that she told him something suggestive and direct, which he simply laughed at.

Boreanaz recalled, “And Emily [Deschanel] and I are waiting for her. And she’s like, ‘Good to see you. Oh, good to see you. You’re so nice. You’re so pretty.’ She goes up to Emily — ‘Oh, you’re so pretty.’ She looks at me, she goes, ‘Holy s—, I want to f— you. I want to f— you!’ I just started laughing.” (via People)

In response, Boreanaz’s co-star Tamara Taylor called White a “legendary potty mouth.” Meanwhile, Emily Deschanel, whom White called “pretty,” according to Boreanaz, shared that she didn’t remember her interaction with the late actress. However, she called his story “amazing.”

Meanwhile, fans online were surprised to learn about this story and shared their reactions. “She was Savage love her miss her !!!!” one user wrote in the comments section of Entertainment Tonight’s YouTube video discussing the topic.

Meanwhile, another fan shared that they didn’t blame the late actress for wanting to do it due to Boreanaz’s attractiveness. They commented, “I don’t blame her.” Additionally, a third fan added, “Good for her!”

However, one fan disapproved of Betty White’s comment on David Boreanaz. They wrote, “I don’t care how old you are…That’s extremely ugly and vulgar.”

Nevertheless, most netizens and the Bones cast reminisced about White’s legendary humor and her legacy.

The episode has become insanely successful on YouTube and has garnered over 19 million views so far.

Xavier Worthy addresses Taylor Swift’s shout-out

The “False God” singer gave a shout-out to a Kansas City Chiefs star in the recent episode New Heights podcast, apart from her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

In the clip that was shared by the NFL team on their Instagram and TikTok, Xavier Worthy can be seen visibly joyful after learning that the “biggest pop star of the generation” has name-dropped him on the podcast.

In footage from the podcast, Taylor Swift can be seen expressing her reaction to Worthy getting drafted by the Chiefs in the clip. She also conveyed how she turned into a die-hard NFL fan and stated, “I fell in love with it. I became like a person who was running through the halls of my house screaming, ‘We drafted Xavier Worthy!’ And my friends are like, ‘Who body snatched you? What do you mean we drafted Xavier Worthy?'”

Kelce chimed in, saying, “I forget where I was, but you were the first person to tell me that we drafted the fastest man in the draft.” Swift then added, “No, I was screeching. I couldn’t believe it. Freaking out.”

Furthermore, the Chiefs’ tight end further revealed that the news was a shocker for him too and said, “I couldn’t believe it either. I’m like, wait, is she right? I had to look this up. I’m like, did she get the wrong information here? But, yeah, we traded up.”

Meanwhile, Xavier Worthy, after seeing the clip, stated, “It’s crazy to have somebody running around the house screaming, ‘We drafted you.’ That’s tight though, that’s what’s up.”

Recently, the latter, along with Ken Jennings, appeared on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, hosted by Kimmel. They appeared in the episode that aired on July 30, 2025, where they won $1 million for Damon’s charity Water.org.

Jimmy Kimmel recently appeared on an interview where he discussed a wide range of topics, such as his friendship with fellow late-night show hosts. During the discussion, the comedian was asked about an untold story revolving around Matt Damon. In response, Kimmel recounted the time Damon came to his house for dinner.

“Matt Damon was over at my house one night for dinner. I made pork ribs,” Kimmel told Variety. “He came late, was very hungry, and started eating fast.”

The three-time Primetime Emmy Awards host stated that Damon ended up “choking on a pork rib.” He noted that it was stuck in his throat for half an hour. Further, Kimmel recalled that the Oscar winner’s brother, Kyle, was present for the incident.

“I said, ‘We have got to get him to the hospital,’ because if he dies in my house, I’m going to prison for the rest of my life,” Kimmel added. “I will never be able to explain this as anything other than a murder.”

The Boss Baby actor said that he and Kyle Damon watched a lot of YouTube videos on how to save Matt Damon from choking. They concluded from their research that the Good Will Hunting actor had to eat small pieces of bread to ensure the pork rib worked “its way down into his stomach.”

“We tried the Heimlich many times,” Kimmel further stated. “It was too far down.”
