After years of sharing her desire to remarry and become a mother, Tinsley Mortimer is engaged to Scott Kluth. Real Housewives of New York viewers saw Tinsley’s many failed attempts to rebound after their split last season.
RHONY is currently filming, so we don’t know everything about their reconciliation, but we do know that Scott has been pretty adamant about staying in Chicago. It is safe to assume that Tinsley’s time on RHONY is coming to a close sooner rather than later.
E! News was the first to report the news. A source told the website that Scott proposed on Sunday while Christmas carolers sang on the steps of the Chicago Water Tower. A random person nearby captured a video of the moment. But, what about the RHONY cameras? Will this be a part of the season? We all remember that Scott didn’t even want to appear via phone call last season, so it seems unlikely that he would film the proposal for the show. But, we shall see!
A different source told Page Six, “Scott’s apartment is close to where the carollers were. They were walking to dinner to and they saw these carollers, and they broke into Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years,’ which is their song. It took Tinsley a few seconds to figure out what was going on, but then Scott got down on one knee. He’d organized the whole thing with the carollers in advance.” That sounds super cute. Hopefully, the fans will get to see the moment on the show.
That same person told Page Six, “She was totally surprised. Her friends sort of knew something was coming, but it really did take her by surprise. Scott asked her mom’s [Dale Mercer’s] permission, so their families knew, but it was a surprise to her friends.” I know I keep saying this, but I really hope this is on the show. I live for any scene with Dale.
I would love to know what the other Housewives think about this. Most of them were pretty anti-Scott last season.

Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd hosted the Vanderpump Dogs Gala last week in Los Angeles. “Coincidentally” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members are currently on their cast trip in Rome. Try to convince me that timing is an accident. Now, everyone has a perfectly acceptable excuse for not attending the event/supporting the cause.
Nevertheless, there were some RHOBH alums in the house. Get ready for this one: Kim Richards was there… wearing what looked like the choker she had on from the Season 1 finale. You know, the necklace from that infamous scene where she accused Kyle Richards of stealing her goddamned house in the back of a limo. I would love to know how Kyle felt about Kim attending the event. Could Kim be trying to pull a Parent Trap and unite Lisa and Kyle? She does want them to make up, after all. RHOBH OG and eternal shit-stirrer Camille Grammer attended. I guess that bad blood with LVP was short-lived.
Real Housewives of Orange County cast members Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Shannon Beador made the trek from the OC to be there.
Lala Kent brought her man (and soon-to-be cast member on Vanderpump Rules) Randall Emmett to the gala. Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix brought served up some premium looks, as per usual. James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss turned the event into a date night as well. Brittany Cartwright, Scheana Marie, and Kristen Doute all attended the gala solo. Yes, Kristen was actually there, even though Lisa has blocked her phone number and her Twitter account.
New Pump Rules cast members Max Boyens, Brett Caprioni, and Dayna Kathan were there. Ah, the calm before the storm. And by “storm,” I’m referring to the dramatic season ahead.
Leona Lewis and Fifth Harmony alum and current Dancing With the Stars contestant Ally Brooke performed that night. I am just bummed that Lucy Lucy Apple Juice didn’t make a cameo appearance on the red carpet.

Ugh – I’m already tied of Rhylee Gerber and she hasn’t even been in one episode of this season’s Below Deck, but sadly for us all that is about to change! Literally even the preview has me drained of her drama.
As Brian de Saint Per is dealing with his knee injury Captain Lee Rosbach calls Rhylee in just in time. Instead of rescuing the deckhands Rhylee proves to be an immediately toxic presence that pushes Ashton Pienaar almost to his breaking point.
Which is not what anyone needs with these already troublesome charter guests and Simone Mashile barely able to mix a mimosa! Simone is also constantly distracted by her raging crush on Tanner Sterback!
The crew is required to wear pirate gear while speaking like a pirate. Um, this season is really going to far in the producer-manipulated antics. Just me?
Anyway, as Kate Chastain tries to coach Simone to feel more confident with service, she is also forced to deal with Kevin Dobson‘s constant meddling in service as he wrangles for control of the interior. Then the primary charter guest is so completely inappropriate with Simone that Kate must intervene and confront the situation!
Lastly, the crew night out turns explosive when Rhylee butts heads with Kevin leaving Ashton to calm things down before things explode. Seriously WHY WHY WHY is Rhylee back?! And why is she instantly provoking?! We know she was told to amp up the drama and it is so fake and preposterous. Super disappointed! I’d rather listen to Abbi Murphy complain for an hour while eating Oreos and her own hair.

And all the congregation said, DUH! Camille Grammer Meyer is having a moment, y’all. But, isn’t that the idea? When Real Housewives of Beverly Hills started getting slammed for the alleged boring season currently being filmed, instead of crawling on their hands and knees to Lisa Vanderpump, Bravo crawled to Camille. But she wasn’t the only one brought in to liven up the snoozefest ladies, Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards got the call as well.
Apparently the red carpet was not rolled out for Camille’s return. That isn’t surprising because handlers carry it exclusively for Kyle Richards so her tiny sacred feet never directly touch the ground. Kidding! Kind of. Technically Camille isn’t supposed to be back at all. She famously tried to bust #puppygate and Dorit Kemsley’s financial embarrassment wide open last season. That didn’t exactly make her popular with the rest of the gang. But “the gang” proved to be failing on their own, so heeeeeeeeere’s Cammy! Now that she is back at work, is she getting the job done? All signs point to yes because Camille says the drama is falling on her shoulders. Get that check, girl.
Is it 2020 yet? I know MANY people are not looking forward to the new season of RHOBH, but I am! I cannot wait to see how the ladies try to cover their court cases manage being down one essential diva. I have a feeling LVP will be the phantom cast member that no one sees, but she is sure to be talked about.
There will be some new alliances for viewers to mull over. Supposedly Bangs Kyle and Brandi are besties now. I’m sure that happened organically and not because of their mutual hatred of British people who rescue dogs. Other things will surely remain the same, like Camille being responsible for calling people out. According to Us Weekly, the party has officially started.
Last week Camille attended LVP’s 4th annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala and shared some very telling info. “What I’ve seen, there’s drama targeted at me. I show up and they kind of, you know, how do I say it the right way? I feel that I show up somewhere and I felt targeted,” she said. Yes, we know Camille. But there is quite a large following waiting for her to pull out the 007 and avenge us Red Dawn style to make up for last year’s smack in the face.
Camille also shared, “But there are things that need to be discussed, so maybe that was the right time to do so. There you go, there’s a carrot. I just dangled!” Certainly many old school RHOBH watchers like the carrot, but what we really want is a cream-filled chocolate donut. MENTION IT ALL, CAMILLE! We need to know things! Like, is Mauricio Umansky allowed inside the Malibu city limits? Has Dorit magically unfrozen her checking account? Does Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave know more than 100 words? And really the most important question of all, who decided to cut Kyle’s bangs?
We’ll have to tune in, secretly or otherwise to find out what Camille uncovers. We already know the cast attempted to freeze Camille out and reportedly Kyle tried to make sure she would take a long vacation in the Niagara Falls area, but duty and Bravo calls. Maybe viewers will get the closure needed to move on from the canine debacle. Perhaps fans will finally gain some insight on why the ladies’ husbands will never hold careers in the banking industry. Go to work, Camille!

When Tom Schwartz isn’t in the hot seat for blacking out and kissing women who aren’t Katie Maloney, he’s usually stuck in the middle of his two best friends. It’s no secret that there is a sort of hierarchy (in the guy’s heads) among Tom 2, Tom Sandoval, and Jax Taylor. Tom 1 and Jax are often at odds over who gets to be the “number one guy” in the group. The tension between those two is definitely going to be at the forefront of Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules. January 7 cannot come fast enough!
We’re also going to see a lot of things we never thought we’d see on Pump Rules this season. First, Jax gets married – to Kentucky sweetheart Brittany Cartwright. Then Stassi Schroeder gets engaged to Beau Clark. And rumor has it we will actually see Randall Emmett, Lala Kent’s fiancé on camera. As much as things change though, they also stay the same.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Tom 2 teased that he “can’t talk too much about it,” but the fight between his two best friends put him, “in the middle and it was very stressful.”
Schwartz also told Us Weekly that he’s “a moderator by nature. I don’t like when they fight.” No doubt he was in the middle, but it might be good for Tom if he acted less like a moderator and grew a pair. Even though I don’t usually agree with Katie, as her husband, he could be less of a neutral party and more of an advocate for his wife.
Tom also shared that Jax’s bachelor party was “very bizarre,” but “in the best way possible.” He even said, “friendships that you never thought you would ever see are forged and there’s lots of highs and milestones.”
Most importantly, he maintains that Pump Rules remains the most authentic show on Bravo, saying its authenticity is “unrivaled,” and, “if the show was fake or soft scripted it would’ve came out [by now].” Stop teasing and just show us this new season already!

Is there something in the water in the ATL? Real Housewives of Atlanta is experiencing a peach baby boom! In November of 2018, Kenya Moore gave birth to her daughter, Brooklyn Daly. RHOA star Porsha Williams and cheater fiancé Dennis McKinley welcomed a daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley, on March 22.
On September 27, Eva Marcille and her husband Michael Sterling celebrated the birth of their son, Maverick. Now we can add Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker to that happy list of new parents.
The couple struggled to conceive again, and they revealed that they had two girl embryos left from when the couple had Ace. According to Page Six, Kandi decided to go the surrogate route because she had a high-risk pregnancy with her son. She also suffers from fibroids, which are noncancerous growths located in the uterus. Sadly, fans also learned during the Season 12 premiere that their surrogate was pregnant with female twins, but one of the embryos didn’t survive.
Both Kandi and Todd have daughters from previous relationships. Kandi has a 17-year-old daughter, Riley Burruss, and Todd has a 22-year-old daughter, Kaela. Kandi and Todd share son Ace Tucker, who is an adorable three-year-old.
Now Kandi and Todd have another reason to celebrate. US Weekly is reporting that they welcomed their daughter, Blaze Tucker, on November 22. Kandi posted a photo on Instagram of Blaze holding her older brother’s finger, with Todd’s hand in the background. “Our little angel is doing well! She was born yesterday 11-22-19 at 6:54pm. 8lbs & 1oz! Her name is Blaze Tucker. Thank you to everyone for the love & well wishes! She’s gonna Blaze a path to greatness! @blazetucker is our newest heartbeat,” Kandi wrote.
We know that Blaze already has a strong social media with presence, with over 20,000 followers on her new Instagram account. Wow! Does that make anyone else feel like their social media accounts are pitiful? Asking for a friend.
In an interview with US Weekly on November 5, 2018 Kandi revealed that she was anxious about the surrogate process. “Like, I don’t have anybody who can tell me [about it]. When we were going through the IVF process, I did have a couple of friends who had done it, so, you know, I could talk to them, but this is a situation where I don’t have anybody I can talk to,” Kandi shared.
But there was someone who did give Kandi some support–Bravo icon Andy Cohen. According to US Weekly, Kandi shared a conversation that she had with Andy on the February 18, 2019 episode of Busy Tonight. “I had made a comment. I said something like, ‘I guess I’m gonna have a baby mama,’” Kandi remarked. “And he said to me, ‘Don’t you ever say that because you are the mother. And to say she’s your baby’s mom is taking away from you.’ It made me feel better,” Kandi stated.
“At the time I didn’t know that he was doing [surrogacy] too. And then when he announced it, he hit me up immediately and said, ‘Now you see why I felt so strongly,’” Kandi added. Andy welcomed a son, Benjamin Allen Cohen via surrogate in February.
Congratulations to Kandi and Todd and their entire family on their newest addition, baby Blaze.

Simone Mashile lurked in the laundry room for most of the season on Below Deck. Clearly, her service experience leaves much to be desired and Third Stew Courtney Skippon picked up the slack. Since expressing a desire to better her skills, Chief Stew Kate Chastain gave Simone more services opportunities.
It’s not clear what inspired Simone to metaphorically leave the laundry room. Perhaps it was the sexual allure of a certain deckhand named Tanner Sterback. Maybe Simone is really thinking big picture about her career, though it’s clear that she is not ready to put in the work.
Captain Lee Rosbach commented on Simone’s lack of focus in his blog. He summed up the issue saying, “Simone, you ask for more service duties, but when given, you fall short.”
During the episode, Kate suggested that Simone needs to take more initiative to serve the guests. Captain Lee agreed, “you just can’t go out and look and say, Oh, no one needs or wants anything. You check with each individual to make sure that they have what they want.”
Then there was the incident when the guests overhead the very overdrawn conversation between Tanner and Simone. It does bring to light that Simone should be spending time shadowing Kate and learning service skills. Captain Lee wrote, “you don’t have a conversation with the guy you’re crushing on within earshot of the guests, while your boss is doing your job. You are there to learn and work, your social life is a far distant second place to that, if it plays a part at all.”
If Simone doesn’t step up, Kate certainly won’t bother trying to teach her anything and it’ll be back to the laundry room for this Cinderella. Captain Lee is optimistic that Simone will turn things around. He concluded, “be careful what you ask for, you wanted service, now act like you can handle it. Not being able to open a bottle of wine isn’t a good start. But I do still have hope for you. Just apply your talents and you will be fine.”

It is difficult to believe that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is filming season 10 without Lisa Vanderpump. Her decision to leave the show shocked fans–and probably her co-stars as well. Even though Lisa didn’t interact much with the other ladies for most of season 9, she was still the main storyline. Whether she liked it or not. The Puppy Gate scandal courtesy of Dorit Kemsley’s inability to follow the simple rules of her dog adoption contract was a drama that was unseemly on many levels and changed the dynamics of the show forever.
Kyle Richards, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Dorit all probably underestimated Lisa’s potential reactions to assaults on her character. Especially in matters related to her honesty and her love of dogs. Vanderpump Rules star Lisa is committed to the welfare of animals and she recently spoke out on what she would like to be remembered for. And you can probably guess it is not for being a Housewife. Or Kyle’s former BFF.
Not surprisingly, Lisa shared with People that she would want to be known for her work to protect dogs through the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation. She stated, “I hope that will be my legacy.”
“It’s been a slow gradual awareness, but thanks to the vehicle of a reality show, and Bravo so kindly gave us the airtime, it’s been wonderful,” Lisa went on to explain.
Many reality stars use their newfound fame to promote themselves and their businesses. But how many have used their platform to also support a cause in the way that Lisa has? The Vanderpump Dogs Foundation is committed to spreading awareness of dog mistreatment and encouraging humane treatment of dogs around the world. 100% of the profits at the Vandpump Dog Center go to support the cause. Since the foundation was started in 2016, 1,300 dogs have been rescued via the foundation.
Lisa continues to be committed to animals. She declared, “I’ve worked really hard. I just want to keep drawing attention to [the cause] and to rescue dogs. They are so grateful for a chance at a second life.” Dogs are given a chance at a second life at the Vanderpump Dogs Center in Los Angeles, which offers dogs for adoption.
We all know that some Housewives can turn a simple “hello” into verbal warfare. But, who could argue with the wonderful work Lisa and her foundation are doing? Think about it–1,300 dogs have found new homes because of Lisa’s commitment to animal welfare. With her equally committed husband, Ken Todd by her side, of course.
After the death of Lisa’s brother last year and her co-star drama, things changed for her. She revealed, “Everything shifted in my brain. All the things that I was involved with became more important. The foundation is of the utmost importance to me.” Sometimes it takes life-changing events to put everything into clear focus.
Lisa’s foundation has also made strides in decreasing participation at the barbaric Yulin Festival. They’re also involved in congressional legislation protecting animals.
“To have success, that excited me,” Lisa admitted. “But to have success in a philanthropic way, that excites me even more. I never thought I’d be speaking in Congress. So I really don’t know what’s around the corner.”
One thing that might be coming up for Lisa is a show centered around the Vanderpump Dogs Center. She teased at BravoCon that such a show could be on the horizon. I, for one, will be watching if the show comes to fruition. If it in any way supports Lisa and her amazing cause, I’m in.
