Big Brother 20 Episode 9 Recap: Revenge Is in the Air
There is a new sheriff in the Big Brother 20 house and an unlikely one at that. Scottie Salton won the third Head of Household competition of the summer on the heels of the second vote flip this season. Not only did Scottie flip his vote to evict on Swaggy C WIlliams, but Scottie did so while wearing one of Swaggy’s very own infamous shirts broadcasting his swagger.
Now that Scottie has the HOH power in the Big Brother house, will he look to seek revenge for the early departure of his “ride or die”, Steve Arienta“? Scottie made it clear once he won the HOH that he was looking to stir things up inside the Big Brother house. Based on his surprising vote to evict Swaggy just a few days ago, Scottie seems likely to be on a path to bring the Big Brother fans some excitement during his reign as HOH this week.
Live Eviction Fallout
Ever since Scottie lost his closest ally in the Big Brother house at the first live eviction, Scottie has been a loner with no one to really confide in. He flipped his vote during the last eviction and voted out Swaggy C, and as far as we know, none of the Big Brother houseguests are privy to this information. WIll Scottie reveal he flipped his vote against Swaggy or will the houseguests come to their own conclusion based on the process of elimination?

Ashley Darby Discusses The Rumors About Karen Huger’s Living Situation
It is so difficult to figure out what is truthful when Karen Huger is involved. Nevertheless, her confusing antics make Real Housewives of Potomac worth watching- even if it can be frustrating at times.
I’m not even a part of this friend group, but I can understand why Ashley Darby would be frustrated by Karen. Ashley is really letting it all hang out there with her marriage issues and everything else she’s going through with her husband Michael Darby. And then there’s Karen who seems less than truthful most of the time.
Ashley discussed the last episode in a Bravo blog post. After writing and performing that original song in Michael’s honor she expected a sweet reaction. Instead she basically got no reaction from her own husband and it was both embarrassing and hurtful.
Ashley admitted, “Things between Michael and I had been incredibly stiff. We were walking on eggshells with each other because we were making progress steadily toward getting to a good place – the last thing either of us wanted to do was rock the boat.”
She explained, “When I decided to write a song for Michael it was in an effort to reiterate the commitment I’ve made to our marriage. It was an out of the box idea to make him feel like the special human being he is. When I didn’t get the reaction I expected it was hurtful – mainly because my ego was bruised. A song is certainly not the defining pendant of our relationship, but the representation of our love in a creative expression was important to me. I felt like if that wouldn’t bring Mickey back into my arms I don’t know what will – how much is too much to keep trying?” That’s a great question, girl.
Ashley is being so open about her life and there’s Karen– who may or may not be living in a townhouse. Ashley revealed that Karen’s right hand Matt was spilling some tea in the club during the last episode. Ashley wrote, “I had my suspicions about Matt and his Houdini appearing act from the very beginning. So when this news came to me, there were two thoughts. First, it’s not cool for someone to take advantage of Karen during this time in her life. Secondly, there were already rumors whirling around the DMV, and hearing this from someone close to the source herself was confirming.”
She continued, “It was only right to ask Karen what’s reallllllly going on, and give her a chance to set the record straight.” Right- like Karen is ever going to do that. That will be the day. Personally, I think it’s reality TV gold to watch Karen navigate from own lie to another, but I can see why it would be tough to be her friend- let alone a costar who is actually sharing real problems in her life.
Ashley wasn’t the only one who upset Karen during the last episode. Gizelle Bryant claimed that Karen’s husband Ray Huger was crushing on Gizelle’s business partner Erika. Ashley wrote, “As for what transpired between Gizelle and Karen, I was very intrigued! I also attended said Christmas party and distinctly remember seeing Ray and Karen, as well as Gizelle and Erika. While I didn’t witness the interaction between Ray and Erika, Karen’s previous comments about her husband deem it’s not implausible.”
Tonight is an all new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. “While the ladies enjoy a fabulous day on the French Riviera, Candiace begins feeling detached from the group. After noticing Karen without her wedding ring, suspicion mounts about the state of her marriage. Super-sized 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After Finale Tonight! Join Us For A Live Viewing Party In The Comments Section
After last week’s epic throwdown between Pedro, Nicole, and THE ENTIRE FAMILY CHANTEL, we deserve to see the horrific aftermath – including the table of food that Pedro karate kicked. Mother Chantel waving around Nicole’s hair extensions while she decries Pedro and his sister as “very bad people!” is just the beginning of what’s to come. Will Chantel threaten to leave Pedro? Will River attack another innocent light fixture? It’s anybody’s guess, really.
Tonight’s three-hour finale will be the last we see of our couples from 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After until the two-part Tell All Reunion begins airing next Sunday. Annie must also decide whether she’ll degrade herself one step further by moving into a warehouse with David, who still refuses to harvest the American dollar by actually getting an effing job.
Paola and Russ drum up some mild drama to justify their existence on the show, while Molly continues to research legal action against Luis, even after she hears unexpected news from him.

And last but not least, Jorge is called out on his web of lies as well. Contact is made with his baby mama, ya’ll! And she is serving up some truth, it seems. Will Anfisa run away or keep collecting those reality TV checks? Will she at least give Jorge a classic retro-verbal beatdown for being the world’s biggest liar? Hmm. We’ll have to tune in to see…

Big Brother Ep. 9 Preview: 4 Things to Expect from Tonight’s Episode
Thursday’s Big Brother 20 episode concluded with Scottie Salton becoming the new Head of Household. This happened right after he flipped his vote to evict Chris “Swaggy C” Williams instead of Winston Hines.
This Sunday’s episode should be an eventful one with nominations, the Big Brother App Store opening for one last time, and reactions to Swaggy’s eviction. Before tonight’s episode, here’s a rundown of what else to expect on this one.
Scottie’s Vote Explained
Scottie’s vote came as a shock to many Big Brother 20 viewers. He–sort-of–explained his reasoning behind evicting Swaggy, but we should get a better explanation via the Diary Room on this episode. We’ll get a better view of the “evil genius” within Scottie.
Scottie’s Target
Now that Scottie has power, we’ll get to see who has his loyalty this week. We’ll also see his reasoning behind making his nominations, and setting up this week’s target.
Steve’s Presence
If you thought the Summer of Steve 2018 was over, you were wrong. Scottie uses Steve Arienta‘s eviction as the main focal point with this week’s nominations. He tells Tyler Crispen that he’s using the Steve vendetta as the foundation for this week’s targets. We should see a lot of mentions of Steve tonight.
The App Store Opens and Closes
Host Julie Chen announced that tonight would be the last time the App store opens. We’ll see one final player receive the app, and another receive the crap app. We’ll also get more details on what each reward and punishment entails.

Big Brother 20 Spoilers: Live Feeds Day 25 Highlights: Scottie Seals Someone’s Fate
Yesterday, Scottie Salton finalized his mission for this Big Brother 20 week: he won the Power of Veto. This means his nominations–probably–will stay the same. This means either Winston Hines or Brett Robinson will walk out the Big Brother 2018 doors on Thursday night.
Most of the action yesterday revolved around which bro to evict. Brett is more popular and well liked in the Big Brother house. Winston isn’t really socializing well with the other houseguests. He also seems more of a loose canon. Scottie knows that Brett is a way better player than Wnston, and therefore needs to go this week.
The road to getting out Brett may not go that smooth. Rachel Swindler, Kaycee Clark, and Angela Rummans want to keep Brett over Winston. Tyler Crispen, JC Mounduix, Faysal Shafaat, Angie “Rockstar” Lantry, Haleigh Broucher, and Bayleigh Dayton all want Brett out of the game.
Kaitlyn Herman has also said she wants Brett out. Sam Bledsoe will go with what Scottie wants. The majority of the votes are in favor of a Brett eviction, but Tyler needs to get the rest of Level 6 on board with voting out Brett, otherwise, this could make them not trust Tyler.
JC has already started working on turning them against keeping Brett. Meanwhile, Tyler was also starting to put a target on Kaitlyn to get her out before jury. He spoke with his Level 6 alliance about targeting Angie and Kaitlyn before jury.
Many of his Level 6 alliance wanted to target Scottie and Faysal next, but Tyler is already trying to make Kaitlyn the next target. Tyler may have forgotten that whoever gets evicted next week is likely coming back into the game.
Hell hath no hury like a Kaitlyn scorned. Strangely, Kaitlyn was also telling F.O.U.T.T.E that Tyler needs to go soon. Bayleigh and Faysal also discussed using her power next week to keep them safe, and also take out Tyler.
It’s almost guaranteed that Tyler won’t leave next week with his and Sam’s power in play. We may see all three powers used and eliminated from the game next week. The late night activity involved celebrating Rachel’s birthday with freeing the Have-Nots, the men giving her special attention, and a few games.
After everyone went to bed, Winston and Brett wanted to expose Kaitlyn’s lying ways to save themselves. Brett and Winston did pitch the idea of a secret final three to Scottie, but it doesn’t seem to help their case to stay this week. He just tells them he’ll sleep on it.
