The last person I would ever go to for advice is Eden Sassoon. She looked like an absolute fool during her short-lived time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Anyone who is that easily manipulated by Lisa Rinna, is a person that I have trouble taking seriously. Nevertheless, we all know that Eden loves talking about situations that she has nothing to do with, so it’s really not a shock that she gave her two cents about Abby Lee Miller’s prison sentence.
And of course, she continues to talk about Lisa Vanderpump, who completely owned her and will always be a million times more relevant. Eden is backtracking on the tweets she wrote about Lisa – arguably the most genuinely philanthropic Real Housewife – not being charitable. This, after she was kicked off the show, she’s definitely grasping for relevancy.

While guest hosting The Tomorrow Show, Eden had a lot to say about shit she has nothing to do with…. as per usual. Yes, I get that she was a co-host and she was expected to comment on a variety of topics, but I cannot help laughing whenever Eden acts like she is an expert in anything.
About Abby Lee Miller planning to pretend she’s just filming a movie while in prison, Eden claimed, “Obviously the team at home is like ‘Oh, OK, we’re just going away for a year. We’re pretending we’re on set.’ She’s psychologically psyching herself out. It’s literally like the matrix. That’s a liar. That’s a thief. That’s not something people should do.” I can’t argue with Eden on that one: Abby sure is delusional. But come on, pot meet kettle.
It got weird when Eden mused, “And the punishment, I think, should be served. She [Abby Lee Miller] needs to go to Tony Robbins. Tony could knock her into shape. She’ll be like, ‘What the hell just happened to me?’ Hundred percent. Tony should visit people in jail and heal them before they come out. Tony – go visit Abby and get her on track.”
Getting back into Eden’s wheel house, she defended her blatant shit talking on Lisa Vanderpump. Eden claimed, “It was a really simple conversation and it was something I was saying in truth and obviously someone picked it up and ran wild with it. If you go back and you really look, which obviously press doesn’t do, I have never once said anything about Lisa Vanderpump but kind, nice, endearing, she’s this, she supports, I love, I support her, everything.” Did she not read her own tweets? She was intentional shit stirring.

Eden continued to defend herself: “All I said was that she didn’t want to be a part of this organization that I was hosting at my salon. And they took it, and she took it, and she ran with it, and she was coming at me telling me like, ‘Oh that’s one thing you can’t say is that I’m not a philanthropist,’ and she was tweeting at me and then in one of her tweets she said, ‘Pick up the damn phone and call me.’ Um, I’m sorry, you have my number, call me. You started this.”
No, YOU started this. You’re the one who used Lisa’s name to get publicity.
Eden wasn’t done talking though. She alleged, “I would never say anything bad about her, and I never ever ever did once from up until this happened last week where she threw a bunch of stuff at me. And I sort of just posted a picture of my father and the queen and I said, ‘I’m pretty sure this is the real queen,’ just to sort of you know undermine the whole…like you’re not the queen we’re human. You are an incredible woman, and you give a lot, and I never said anything bad about you Lisa Vanderpump.”
Right. That is “nice” and “endearing.” I totally see what you’re saying. Not.

We are now down to just six players left in the game on Survivor: Game Changers, as two more unfortunate souls were added to the ever-growing jury this week. You know you’re close to the finale when there are more jurors than there are remaining contestants, and speaking of the finale, it is now just one episode away (it’s next week: May 24th…mark your calendars!).

Two strong, feisty women were sent to the jury this week, with Andrea Boehlke and Michaela Bradshaw both getting their torches snuffed during the penultimate episode of this season. They join the jury as the sixth and seventh members and will vote on the winner of Survivor: Game Changers next week.
Andrea Boehlke – a three-time player who was seemingly in control headed into this week – was the first #blindside victim of the night, getting betrayed by her close ally Cirie (who she tried to tickle on her way out…), after trying to target Sarah, whom apparently was more important to Cirie’s game. She has now joined the illustrious club of Survivor players that have played the game for over 100 days…she is the seventh person to do so (joining Amanda Kimmel, Parvati Shallow, Rupert Boneham, Rob Mariano, Ozzy Lusth, and Cirie Fields)…and she is the only one of these players to have debuted after Season 20, Heroes vs. Villains. As one of the most recognizable faces in the game’s history, Andrea is no stranger to the spotlight. After her original appearance on Survivor, she went on to earn several hosting jobs and acting gigs and currently is the host of the People Magazine’s online entertainment news-based show “People Now.”
Michaela Bradshaw on the other hand, was not recognizable at all, at least to the other contestants (save Zeke) this season. That’s because nobody else out there ever saw her play Survivor. Her previous season, Millennials vs. Gen-X, had not yet aired when she went out for this season, so no one else other than Zeke had a chance to see what she was capable of. She fought an uphill battle the entire game, and was generally dismissed by many of the others, despite once again being a challenge beast this season (she also kicked a record number of said challenges, in frustration). Michaela broke down and cried when Zeke was voted out of the game and had seemed to form a real bond along-side Cirie late in the game. Heading into this week’s episode, she seemed safe, mainly because most of the other players saw her as a good candidate to sit next to at the end. But she was the victim of that crazy Tribal, and it might have been her relationship with Cirie that ultimately did her in.
I had a chance to chat with both Andrea and Michaela today, and you can find the full audio of each interview on my Podcast at the bottom of this article. For those that prefer the written word, here are some highlights for you from both interviews:
ANDREA INTERVIEW HIGHLIGHTS:
On why she was aligned with Cirie, and if she had plans to blindside her before Final Three:
Andrea Boehlke: I wasn’t planning on sitting in the Final Three with Cirie, because I didn’t want to lose a million dollars (laughs). So it was a case of her getting to me first, however, I don’t think anyone there was going to go to the end with Cirie, if they had it their way. So, like Sarah doesn’t want to go to the end with Cirie, at least I don’t think so. I am surprised that Cirie turned on me then, but you can look at it two ways. Was I going to take her out eventually? Yeah, I was hoping to. But I definitely wasn’t going to go for her anytime soon.
On her relationship with Aubry and why we’re not seeing a lot from Aubry on the show:
Andrea: I’m really surprised that we’re not seeing more of Aubry. I really don’t have an answer. I got really close to Aubry, especially at the end. I think that’s another reason that Cirie and Sarah took me out and didn’t tell Aubry, because they figured for sure Aubry was going to tell me. I’m actually curious to know if Aubry would have told me…but either way, me and Aubry were hanging out more than we should have, we were being super-obvious about it. I was obsessed with her. I don’t know why she’s not getting more credit.
On her legacy in the game, and on becoming just the seventh person in Survivor history to play for over 100 days in the game:
Andrea: I’m very proud of that. Well, Jeff (Probst) says I’m under-rated, and I think I might be a little under-rated. It seems like every time my name comes up, that I don’t belong in a “legend” status, and I mean, I don’t consider myself a legend. Maybe I under-rate myself. But the fact that I made 100 days, I think that’s pretty great. So I didn’t get to win the million, but I got to 100 days, and I got to see my mom out there, so at least I can be proud of something.
MICHAELA INTERVIEW HIGHLIGHTS:
On last night’s insane, confusing Tribal Council:
Michaela Bradshaw: What the heck just happened? (Laughs) Basically we had a case of someone trying to do too much. That someone was Cirie, she just had it out for Tai and she found the most elaborate scheme to get rid of a person. Instead of just collecting the votes, she wanted to just go over the top and do way too much. And as you saw, that plan completely backfired and so what ended up happening was, I ended up being guilty by association.
On why Sarah voted her out instead of Cirie, who had just appeared to betray Sarah (from Sarah’s point-of-view):
Michaela: Sarah probably wanted to vote for Cirie at that point, because she felt like Cirie was trying to send her home, which was not what Cirie was trying to do. But what would you think if someone took your advantage and tried to use it steal your vote? Clearly, Cirie didn’t think this through.
On playing back-to-back seasons and how that may or may not have affected her game:
Michaela: I just didn’t understand why there was so much animosity towards me. But I think had they seen my past season, I might have had a shot of being embraced by more people, or they may have just looked at me as more of a threat. I don’t know. At the end of the day, I think that it was a better thing that no one saw my season, because I think that someone would have found a way to spin that into a negative. I’m not mad that my season wasn’t aired, but I do wonder if I would have had more head-room socially in this game, had everyone known that I’m not a malicious person.

It’s hard for me to remember Real Housewives of New York before Dorinda Medley joined the cast and I never want to go back to that era. She manages to keep it real, deliver hilarious one-liners, and check anyone who goes against her – all while managing to be extremely lovable.
Dorinda is someone who has an opinion on everything and everyone and this even includes reality stars who are on other Bravo shows. I have no idea how Dorinda wasn’t a Real Housewife sooner, but I (naively) hope she stays on this show forever, especially since she and Sonja Morgan seem to be cool again.

Dorinda stopped by my new favorite morning show/podcast The Morning Breath to discuss RHONY and other Bravolebrities. Dorinda told the hosts (and sisters) Claudia and Jackie Oshry, “The thing that I love about Real Housewives of New York is the way you see the women on TV is the way they are in real life. I think that’s very unique [compared] to a lot of the other Housewives.”
Cough, cough, Phaedra Parks. Actually, Dorinda wasn’t alluding to Phaedra at all, but that is just the first person who came to my mind when it comes to lying on reality TV.
Dorinda continued, “You can’t make it your vocation – the Housewives – it’s got to be real and seamless. I think the audience feels that with the kind of people who become a character.” Who is she talking about? I assumed it was Sonja and I was right, but she actually had a lot of nice things to say about her.
“I think you all know I’ve had this ongoing thing with Sonja. This whole ‘Grey gardens, crazy woman in a townhouse’ thing is not really Sonja. Sonja is actually a very smart, accomplished, interesting person. Sometimes I feel like role she’s playing on the Housewives – or not the role, but just who she is portraying – is not really who she is. She’s actually a very smart, clever woman. When you see Sonja off-camera, she’s actually well-read, has had incredible experiences, and is very intelligent.”
Dorinda also talked about what it’s like to be a reality TV star on the network. Dorinda shared, “It’s like a Bravo family. We’re in it together. We’re in it to win it. We know what we’re doing and it makes you sort of a special group of people.” She continued, “It’s so funny, when I see the girls from Vanderpump Rules, they always refer to me as ‘Mrs. Medley’ and I’m like ‘Stassi [Schroeder], I’m not that old.'”

Claudia asked which Bravo show she would want to join or make a guest appearance on. Dorinda revealed, “I would love to be on Southern Charm.” I can’t see that, but I would love to see her in a “fish out of water” situation. She would straighten them all out. That’s for sure. Her other response, which made a lot more sense to me, was, “I like the Real Housewives of New Jersey. I like a little gangster and Gucci. I think I would be good on it.” Yes, she would. I feel like Dorinda is the hero that the New Jersey series desperately needs.
Of course, Dorinda was asked about her iconic one-liners and whether or not she knows that she is delivering great material in the moment. “No. I have no idea until I see them on TV. Who would have thought that ‘not well, bitch’ would have been iconic?” Everyone. I loved it (and rewound and replayed) that moment in the trailer before I ever had any idea of the context she said it in.
What else do we have to look forward to this season?
Dorinda revealed, “There’s sort of a gangster lunch coming up. In the Bronx. The setting is perfect.” Claudia asked, “Do you throw it down?” Dorinda admitted, “I go gangster. I think it’s the environment.” I don’t care what it is. I live for all of the scenes that involve Dorinda getting angry. As a fan, I feel bad that she’s upset, but I also can’t help being entertained by her rage.
She also talked about an upcoming cast trip to Mexico. She didn’t say a lot, but she did say, “What doesn’t go down in Mexico? We have so much fun.” I hope that vacation includes the scene of Luann de Lesseps taking that pitcher away from Sonja – another scene I loved before knowing any related context.
TELL US – IF YOU COULD SEE DORINDA ON ANY OTHER BRAVO SHOW, WHAT WOULD IT BE? DO YOU THINK SONJA IS MORE TOGETHER THAN SHE COMES ACROSS ON RHONY?

I love it when we’re able to share a positive story about Real Housewives – in this case, Lisa Vanderpump‘s crusade to get China to stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival has paid off with the government issuing a temporary ban against the disgusting practice.
There is a way to go before the practice is outlawed entirely. “It’s not over yet,” cautions the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star, “but apparently they are going to enforce fines of up to $900 and possibly arrest violators starting on June 15 so it’s a huge step in the right direction.”

When she learned of China’s decision to take action, Lisa cried for 10 minutes. This small victory encourages her to fight even harder.
Lisa has been an outspoken advocate against the festival, hosting marches and dog days, appearing before congress, and working on a documentary about the barbaric practice which has taken her to Hong Kong. Lisa and Ken both thank Bravo and RHOBH for helping them raise awareness. Lisa refused to return to RHOBH last season unless Bravo agreed to highlight her advocacy against Yulin. Well, broadcasting from that enormous platform has worked.

“I think they have felt the pressure from the West and certainly with the help of Bravo and Evolution Media in showcasing our marches and our gala. All the press they have helped us garner has been instrumental in this fight and in spreading the word all over the world,” Lisa tells The Daily Mail. “It is definitely China saying, ‘We hear you.’ We are kind of moving in the right direction.”
Lisa also thanks Ken for his support and determination. He has been with her every step of the way, saying from the beginning, “We will do everything we can.”

“I just think it’s incredible if we have managed to make change,” acknowledges Lisa. “Any torture against any animal is a crime against humanity.”
Next will be the release of Lisa’s documentary, which is “not just about Yulin, it’s about the fight for the humane treatment of dogs worldwide.”
Lisa recently visited Capital Hill again – even meeting with Speaker Ryan – to continue legislation pressuring China to make the ban permanent through House Resolution 30. So, if you support it, call your representatives about the matter. Or maybe Lisa should just run for office?!

Whenever Dina Manzo and Caroline Manzo are brought up in conversation, my mind immediately moves to the mysterious feud between the former Real Housewives of New Jersey stars. With that said, I couldn’t help wondering if Dina and Caroline were in touch after Dina and her boyfriend David Cantin were beaten and burglarized over the weekend.
As of now, there’s no confirmation on whether or not the estranged siblings have interacted, but Caroline and her brother Chris Laurita did speak out about the tragedy and they have nothing but kind words for Dina.

Both siblings talked to E! News about the incident. Caroline said, “I hope the police get to the bottom of this and whoever is responsible for this gets what’s coming to them.”
No word on whether not she actually spoke with Dina herself, but I doubt that considering their tumultuous relationship. But you never know. Sometimes tragedy can bring people together and remind them of what’s important in life.

Chris said he spoke to his sister Dina two days after the crime. He shared, “She is obviously shaken by the whole thing. She’s back in California now and seems to be okay. It’s unfortunate what happened. Hopefully they’ll get to the bottom of it.”
The whole story is absolutely horrible. Poor Dina. Poor David. Hopefully they are both resting and that the perpetrators are identified and punished.

Confession: We always kind of assumed that the ridiculous job descriptions on The Bachelor and Bachelorette--ones like "chicken enthusiast," "whiskey enthusiast," "free...Even though I barely “know” Tinsley Mortimer, I like her so far based on what I’ve seen on Real Housewives of New York. I was excited for her to open up during her first Watch What Happens Live appearance. Unfortunately for me, that isn’t exactly what happened.
Tinsley was a delight, but I was really anticipating Andy Cohen asking a bunch of questions about living with Sonja Morgan and her brown ice. But that did not happen. Weirdly enough, there were zero Sonja-related questions, and I learned pretty much nothing about Tinsley. It was a forgettable episode in all honesty, but I watched so you don’t have to. I’ll share the (very) few interesting parts.

In what easily could have been the biggest landslide in the history of WWHL polls, the audience was asked who was more mature: Ramona Singer or her daughter Avery Singer. That was a pretty obvious answer and Avery one with ninety percent of voters on her side.
Tinsley echoed the sentiments of the audience and said, “Avery forever. I love Ramona, but come on.” Avery has always been the voice of reason on this show.
Andy asked Tinsley about her (younger) date Chad from the last episode. All Tinsley had to say was, “Chad is a great guy. We’re friends.” Andy had no qualms calling her out when he replied, “He makes another appearance or two this season.” I’m all for that. As Andy (repeatedly) said, “Chad could really get it.”

Still, Tinsley maintained that there was nothing serious going on and claimed, “I’m trying to listen to the list a little bit” in reference to the husband requirements that she and Sonja (of all people) put together during Tinsley’s first episode as a Housewife.
The only (kind of) interesting question asked Tinsley what she thought about Bethenny Frankel. There’s no beef here though. “I actually really like Bethenny. I don’t have a problem with her.” She explained, “When you’re new to any situation and a new friend, I mean it takes a little time to warm up. She’s been a little and hot cold to me, but I think she’s incredibly smart, witty, funny, and I think she’s a great girl.” Plus, Tinsley could never handle going up against Bethenny.
It wasn’t the most exciting or informative episode of Watch What Happens Live, but I still like Tinsley so I guess that’s good. Hopefully she comes back later in the season to gossip and throw some shade.

It's the end of an era for Bobby Moynihan and Saturday Night Live. The longtime not ready for primetime player is, well, going primetime with his new CBS comedy Me, Myself and I and leaving...
Bobby Giancola sure has a lot to say about his epic display of immaturity on Below Deck Mediterranean lately! He has taken his fight to twitter to defend his honor – or lack thereof. After facing off with Hannah Ferrier on land and on sea (otherwise known as the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse and a yacht, respectively), Bobby is a wee bit irate with people not knowing “the full story.” Which would make him look less like a horse’s a$$, one presumes? Tell us more about this “full story,” Bob!
After Lauren Cohen wouldn’t come to Bobby’s defense this week in backing up his claims that Hannah “c*ck blocks” him, twitter peeps wondered why Bobby has to be so aggressively sexual with everyone in his path? Bobby fired back online, claiming, “It’s a figure of speech. I chose a poor group of words in the moment. What I meant was that she consistently tells women to back away from me.”

“I really don’t,” responded Hannah. “I have better things to do with my time and HONESTLY don’t care who you hook up with!”
“Then why go out of your way to pull Lauren aside to tell her to stay away from me?” demanded Bobby.
Still smarting from Hannah commenting on the three extra women Bobby brought along on a date with Lauren in NYC before filming, Bobby has made it clear that he’s the innocent victim here. The good guy, if you will. (Snort!)
When Bobby continued poking Hannah for answers online after the episode aired, Lauren got into the mix to clear things up. “Your [sic] jumping to conclusions. 1) I went up to her 2) She said it was wrong for u to bring 3 dates 3) I decided to stay away on my own,” she tweeted.

Yes, Bobby is his very own special brand of female repellent. But he fails to see this, continuing his twitter attack – now on both Hannah and Lauren!
Ah, but the plot thickened when Lauren threatened to unveil some incriminating intel on Bobby – until Hannah warned them both to simmer down before things got out of hand.
After Lauren swore “the amount of dirt I too have is outrageous and u know what I’m talking about” to Bobby, Hannah cautioned that they all chill out before more mud was slung. She tweeted, “Let’s all chill,” warning that posting DMs about one another online is “very de-classe.”
Of course, Bobby took Lauren’s bait, goading her to post anything she wanted. (And I second that motion! Post away, Lauren!)
Indeed, things got so ugly that Malia White (Bobby’s on-board obsession of the moment) tweeted a plea for help to exit the convo ASAP! The poor thing became collateral damage in a twitter war more immature than a middle school food fight.
So, bottom line: There’s obviously no love lost between Bobby and…just about everyone else. He’s basically persona non grata on the boat – and now, online! Good work, deck hand!

In the mean time, Bethenny Frankel tries to apologize to him at Dorinda Medley‘s charity event. It goes over about as well as a karaoke solo at an office party. In the daytime. Meanwhile, Sonja Morgan continues to bring the hammer down on Tinsley Mortimer‘s life choices – this time in the bedroom!
Dorinda is throwing a charity event for Beauty for Freedom, so she enlists Bethenny’s help – or at least, her commentary – in the effort. They meet out shopping, where Bethenny is more concerned with the “gigantic apartment” in SoHo she’s just purchased, which is 2,000 square feet larger than her current pad. She’s good at flipping properties, she says. And she’d like you to watch her real estate spinoff, please. She’s not good at forgiving Ramona, however, and has no plans of doing so. Though she does vow to be cordial when they’re forced together at social functions.

Across town, Ramona Singer is shopping with Avery, who plays world weary therapist to Ramona’s psychotic delusions. When Ramona basically bemoans Why doesn’t Bethenny liiiiiiike me? I tried to ask her weird backhanded questions about friendship!?!? Avery’s like, uh – talk like a normal person, maybe? But Ramona just looks confused (and weirdly disheveled). If Avery doesn’t know by now that common sense and rational logic do not compute in Mama Singer’s addled brain, she’s in for a lifetime of struggle.
Luann and Sonja are at lunch also discussing The Ramona Problem. Ramona still doesn’t understand why bringing Bethenny’s daughter into a sneak attack shaming session is an issue. Both women decide the basic assessment is as follows: Ramona has no clue. And I must say, when Sonja Morgan is “getting it” more than you – well, it’s time to take a deep seat and reflect on your insight capabilities. The maven of thong bidet laundering on camera is calling your mental ice brown, dear. And that’s just tragic.
Speaking of tragic, Tinsley has decided that going to Beautique with Ramona and Sonja will be good for her social image. Immediately upon sidling up to the bar, Ramona orders three separate drinks for herself – which shall hereby be dubbed boilermaker, troublemaker, and instigator in honor of the three single gals on the prowl. Tinsley is all positive vibes and free love, sidling up to a 23-year old baby-man and taking an instant shine to him. So. Let the sh*tshow begin!
Ramona’s role: Love coach, circa 1959, who advises Tinsley to suck from a straw whilst smiling and batting her eyelashes at the young gentlemen. Also, the opening line of “Hey, how’s your life goin?” seems to do the trick, according to Ramona. Sonja’s role: Being a jealous raving lunatic who keeps shouting “He’s not on your LIST!” to discourage Tinsley from snagging her a young buck for the night. (Is Sonja just trying to stop Tinsley from making her signature move? SHE’s the straw that stirs the underage drink!)
Ramona has the good sense to back off of Tinsley’s boy toy once she senses real interest (however misguided), while Sonja inserts herself smack in the middle of it, eventually urging Tinsley to just get in the car and GO! But Tinsley’s not having it. Tonight, she is having Chad – right here in Beautique, it looks like! But not in Sonja’s daughter’s bedroom, at least.
The next morning at Morgan Manor is awkward, mostly because Sonja accuses Tinsley of turning her precious heat on, but also because Tinsley came home suspiciously late last night. Sonja knows a girl has to blow off a little steam now and then, but she reminds Tinsley that the list – THE LIST! – is king. Plus, she stands before Tinsley as a living, breathing cautionary tale every damn day. So, take heed girl, or you too may be stealing Equal packets out of plastic diner bins well into your dotage.
Bethenny is attending a Dress For Success annual breakfast as a spokesperson, where she gives us a glimpse of then-boyfriend, Dennis Shields. Bethenny met Dennis years ago as her friend’s boyfriend, then got together with him after he broke up with his wife (though there’s much debate about that timing among this group – and online). Carole shows up – on time – to support her friend, who gives an emotional speech about the charity’s mission for women in crisis. Carole thinks the drama with Bethenny’s ex comes to the surface during times like these, but she’s glad to see Bethenny putting her name to worthwhile causes as a way to move through the pain.
At a local indoor rock climbing joint, Adam and Carole test their courage among Hipsters Who Hike. Adam is one of these hipsters, while Carole seems more concerned about breaking a hip. Screaming the entire way up the wall, Carole counts the moments until Adam moves out. She needs her space!!! But the apartment Adam was looking at is no longer available, so she’s got to make some room on that shredded couch for two. For now.
It looks like Chad of Beautique fame is not a one night wonder after all! Nay, he’s graduated to bowling buddy. But has he graduated college? As Tinsley and Chad knock down the pins – after Chad gets ID’d at the door! LOL! – Tinsley muses that she knows he’s not husband material. He does rock a good high school make out session, though. So, she’s down for the cause. But if she wants to bring Chad home for a grown girl sleepover, she’ll have to sneak him through the hole in Sonja’s drywall.
Meanwhile, Ramona’s on the prowl again, this time with a group of more age appropriate friends than Tinsley. Ramona complains about her “other” friends to the group, who are simply not good wing-women. But when she brings up Tom accidentally-on-purpose, Ramona’s friend Missy (who ALSO dated Tom) brings up some shady vague dirt that is still floating out there. She also confesses that Tom cheated on her WITH LUANN while she was dating Tom, insinuating that a leopard doesn’t change its spots.
I’m not sure whether this news is more disturbing because 1) It adds to Luann’s delusion that Tom is a changed man or 2) Ramona obviously orchestrated this entire scene to throw more shade on Tom. Things that make you go hmmmm…
Luann doesn’t care what anyone thinks though, for she is busy tittering on about her wedding to her daughter, Victoria! As far as she’s concerned, Ramona can take her new face all around town and say whatever she wants. She’ll be Mrs. D’Agostino in a month, come hell or high Pinot!
Dorinda is at her charity event Beauty for Freedom, which supports the fight against human trafficking. She and John greet Carole, who’s helped Dorinda wrangle donation items from all of the ladies and contributed some sweet swag herself. The auction looks great and Dorinda is excited about the money she hopes to raise. But it’s the drama that will take center stage when Bethenny and Tom come face to face – followed by Carole’s brush with a “friend” who has a few choice words about Luann’s man.
As Sonja berates Tinsley for not paying enough attention to her, Bethenny and Carole make small talk with randoms – until Tom and Luann simply cannot be avoided. Ramona, however, can be avoided, and is! Bethenny has no desire to jump on the Ramonacoaster tonight, so she stays firmly planted on the ground.
After Luann thanks Bethenny for sticking up for her against Ramona’s wedding invite rant last week, Bethenny introduces herself to Tom and apologizes for causing him “any drama.” His response is, “So, what are you doing for the holidays?” And just like that, Tom shows how he and Luann are perfect partners in brushing things under the rug. A very tasteful and wildly expensive rug, one would assume.
After Dorinda gets the bidding started, Bethenny and Carole decide to become “charity whores” for the cause, flirting with as many men as possible to get their wallets out for a good cause. But there’s more than charity whoring going on here tonight, for a woman named Barbara has a lot to say about the man, the myth, the legend: Tom.
On a mic off camera (Carole’s), Barbara tells Carole that she’ll be attending Luann’s wedding, but is not very excited about it. Barbara claim Luann “has something to prove” and would “rather go through with it and get divorced” than call off the wedding. She also says there’s a groundswell of current rumors that Tom still slinks around the Regency in dark corners doing dark deeds like this one…
When Carole asks if Barbara has told Luann any of this sh*t about the Regency rumors, she says yes, but Luann doesn’t care! “I think she’s making the biggest mistake of her life,” cautions Barbara. It’s worth noting that several news outlets posted stories of Barbara suing to have her comments on this episode suppressed, as she claims she didn’t know she was being recorded. The suit was denied, however. And here we are. Back in the toilet bowl.
Carole thinks Luann is “the great pretender,” and likely doesn’t care what the hell Tom does – as long as she gets to that altar with him. But when Luann sees this footage, one has to wonder how that might change things, as least in the public perception of Tom’s recent redemption tour? For example, a mysterious lawsuit might pop up out of nowhere. Just a thought.
