Shahs of Sunset Recap: It’s Almost MJ and Tommy’s Wedding Day, But They Need a Blessing First!
On tonight’s episode of Shahs of Sunset, we’re getting closer to the wedding of Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Tommy Feight, but first, they need some time with their therapist.
MJ talks about her mom, who is becoming much more nurturing since her father’s death, but MJ doesn’t know how to handle it. Tommy also explains to the therapist how MJ has gone so far on the other side of not wanting to be a bridezilla that she hasn’t stuck up herself about the fact that she doesn’t like her dress. MJ also explains that it hurts that she hasn’t received a blessing from her mother for getting married to Tommy. The therapist wants her to ask her mom directly about the blessing.
Destiney Rose and Reza Farahan meet with Monique, a private investigator, to go over what she has learned about Destiney’s quest to find her dad. Last week, we thought that they found one of Destiney’s uncles, but it wasn’t her uncle. Monique also tells her that her father is not in the United States. Destiney is clearly upset: “To all the guys who have other wives and families, you suck.” She doesn’t understand how you can have a family and not want to keep in contact with them. Reza tells her that not every guy is like her dad. She says that she’s become her dad, leaving relationships. Reza points out that she’s not happy doing that and that she needs to open up. She thanks Reza and says she can’t do this without him. He says he loves her.
Mike Shouhed and Sue (Mike’s Mother) arrive at LePetit Paris and he tells her about the property that he wants to develop and that they are going to move forward with the plans. She tells him how nobody has time to work on a two-year project. As a mother, she’s proud of him, and whatever he does she’ll back him up, but you can tell she’s reluctant. Mike wants to win back his mom’s trust and build a relationship with his brothers.
Adam Neely, Sheree, and Dan (Reza’s business partners) all get together to introduce the new shampoo product to Reza’s friends and family. Reza talks about how his dad would come home and “make it rain,” but that he’s conservative about money. He claims that Adam is slowly getting on board with what Reza is doing so he hopes it works or he won’t hear the end of it.
MJ, Tommy, Destiney, Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi and Mike show up and Reza shares the information about the shampoo business. Mike talks about getting the product into the stores or nothing is going to happen. The lady in the bubble in the pool is more exciting than the shampoo if you ask me.
Adam, Tommy and Reza head to the bakery for a wedding cake tasting. Yum! Reza is wondering what MJ would be in cake form and that it needs to be big and attractive and filled with flavor. Nice! They decide on salted caramel and lemon berry cakes. A little side note that Vanilla Bake Shop cake artist Joshua John Russell in this episode is the extremely popular “Man About Cake” on YouTube!
In a less appetizing situation, for some weird reason MJ decides to get a ‘blood facial’ before her wedding. Destiney shows up and MJ tells her she’s nervous because she’s never tried something like this before. Which begs the question — why would you try it before your wedding?! MJ says her mother tells her about not trying anything new before a major event. I agree with your mom! Destiney, who doesn’t like needles or blood, has a hard time watching and when MJ gets the plasma injected into her face, Destiney calls it golden showers for your face — can someone please tell her that’s not what that means? Mj’s face ends up being red and puffy and she’s afraid to go out in public.
At the Greenstone Warehouse, GG and Fatima, her mother, show up for the commercial shoot. GG talks about how she never really had a career or a job where she had to clock in or get dressed up. She struggles a bit saying her lines because trains and planes are going by. After multiple takes she gets it, but GG talks about how she’s never been so attached to anything and she randonly cries at the end of the night. GG seems literally afraid of success.
Nema calls MJ, he’s on his way to find his first piece of real gold ever. Reza shows up and explains that every year he was given a Pahlavi — gold coin and it became something that was part of his life. Reza talks about how Nema wants this now because he missed out on it growing up. Nema thinks everything is meant for a reason including his marriage and divorce, which connected him back to the culture. He says that Reza and Shervin have been influential in terms of his growth and connecting to his culture than anyone.
MJ’s childhood friend, Kerry, flies in for the wedding which takes place tomorrow (next week in our time) and runs errands with MJ. MJ gets misty because these errands she would’ve run with her dad. The room isn’t really ready yet and it’s only one day away and it’s making MJ nervous, but she decides to just spend money and let the stress go.
It’s rehearsal dinner time and they are skipping the rehearsal and just going to dinner. MJ meets Tommy’s adoptive family and finally confronts her mother about the blessing for marrying Tommy. MJ says she’s 100 percent sure without a shadow of a doubt that she loves him. She tells her mother that she’s supportive, loving, and nurturing. MJ asks “Do you give me your blessing to marry Tommy?” “Yes, I do, I really do,” she responds. She also says that her father would give his blessing too. MJ is happy that she’s finally coming around 40 years later and being a supportive mom. Reza comes over and she tells him and he’s happy for her. MJ tells everyone to get the blessing of the mom before the wedding so you can hold it over her head in case anything goes wrong. LOL
MJ’s speech at the rehearsal dinner doesn’t go over well because she didn’t practice and just starts naming everyone in the room. Tommy starts yelling at her during the speech to name the fork and the knife too — really Tommy? He thinks he’s funny, but I found it obnoxious. Now she thinks she’s not prepared for the wedding.
But it’s here and it’s now its only 9 hours until the wedding. MJ calls Adam and he asks her if she’s seen the final dress yet and she hasn’t. She hasn’t even written her vows yet! MJ heads back to the pool to jump into the pool to feel better. MJ asks the best man if he can stop Tommy from being drunk at the wedding. Tommy says he’s going to be drunk.
Next week it’s the wedding! We see that MJ is already 15 minutes late, her makeup isn’t very good and her mother is complaining. Does she actually show up?

Vicki Gunvalson Thinks The Jamaica Trip Brought The Orange County Housewives Together
If anyone knows what it’s like to be on the outs with the Real Housewives of Orange County cast, it’s Vicki Gunvalson. Now it’s Shannon Beador’s turn to be at odds with everyone in the cast. She had a meltdown during the cast trip in Jamaica and got into it with every single cast member before she disappeared for a day.
To make matters worse, this all went down when they were suffering in sweltering heat devoid of air conditioning. It felt vicariously awkward to watch, so I cannot imagine actually being a part of that situation.
Since Vicki, Tamra Judge, and Shannon hugged it out at the Season 12 reunion, Vicki is doing whatever she can to avoid being the cast pariah again. She claimed to be a “Switzerland” among the cast and that is definitely reflected in her last Bravo blog post. She could not be any more neutral with the commentary. No shade here- not even directed at Vicki’s latest foe Kelly Dodd.
Vicki wrote, “I was genuinely worried about Shannon and wanted to make sure that she was ok. Depression and other emotions mixed with any form of alcohol can be a very red flag, and my mothering instincts kicked in. When we didn’t hear from Shannon, who I was trying to reach for a whole day for any reason, I started to get really worried.” Wasn’t Shannon just chilling with the production team? Was she actually alone?

She continued, “Shannon hasn’t acted perfectly, but I knew that the way we handled it was not the most effective means of trying to help our friend. I can empathize with her reaction and emotions, and I want to help her move past this.” To say “Shannon hasn’t acted perfectly” is the understatement of the century.
Even with all that drama, Vicki concluded, “I think this trip really did help bring the group together. I wish we didn’t need the drama to get there, but sometimes people need to get their emotions out to really be heard and make a change in their life.” Does that mean the season returns to being boring from this point on?
Vicki wrapped it all up with cheesy conclusions a summary of the Jamaica drama: “Shannon needed to hear how her behavior is affecting her friends and also know how much we care about her. I think all of us needed to hear Gina [Kirschenheiter] talk about her divorce, so we can better understand and support her. We needed to hear about Emily [Simpson]’s issues with her mother to understand where she is coming from in pushing Shane to have another child. It was important for Shannon to know how she can make Tamra feel sometimes, and I do believe Tamra loves her very much and for some reason wasn’t able to communicate her frustrations for a while now. Friendships don’t happen overnight. Real friendships grow over the years and after really understanding the other person.”
Thank you, Dr. Gunvalson for that analysis. I miss the days when Vicki spent vacations taking shots and dancing on the bar. This was a great psycho analysis of the cast, but I’m not watching this show for a therapy session. Let’s make Real Housewives of Orange County fun again. Please?

90 Day Fiance Anfisa Nava Shares Her Plastic Surgery History And Reveals She And Jorge Will Not Be Returning Next Season
Anfisa Nava has been keeping herself busy during husband Jorge’s incarceration. The 90 Day Fiance star has been concentrating on her studies, staying committed to going to the gym, and keeping up with social media. Over the weekend, Anfisa recorded a vlog for her youtube channel recounting her plastic surgery experiences.
Anfisa says she never felt self conscious about her body until she was bullied by other girls in her middle school, specifically about the size and shape of her nose. She only got “fixated on the idea that I wanted a nose job,” at the age of 16 when she needed medical advice due to breathing issues. Anfisa got a diagnosis of a deviated septum, but at the time didn’t pursue the surgery needed to fix it.
When she started university, she had a professor return from break with a fantastic and noticeably smaller nose. After speaking with her teacher and getting a consultation with the plastic surgeon she had used, Anfisa was finally inspired to get the surgery she wanted. She got that initial surgery in Russia in January of 2015, the same year she met her husband Jorge Nava.
It was Jorge that paid for her to get breast implants the next year in February of 2016. Anfisa underwent the surgery and recovery process, and moved to America shortly thereafter.
Once in the plastic surgery mecca of the world, L.A., Anfisa wanted another nose job. The result of her first one wasn’t drastic enough, so Anfisa wanted to get her nose redone and scheduled consultations with six different doctors. One advised her to get a chin implant to balance out the shape of her face, so she went for that adjustment instead.
The final cosmetic procedure was a second nose job that she underwent in October of 2017. Like the first one, once the swelling went down, Anfisa didn’t feel happy with the results. However, she stressed that getting another surgery is currently not in the works due to circumstances with her husband.
Anfisa has also noticeably changed in her figure. This is not the result of plastic surgery but time spent at the gym. Over the weekend, she posted a video to Instagram posing in workout clothes. One fan wrote, “oh wow your transition from first seeing you on 90days has been phenomenal…I hope they bring you and Jorge back next season.” Anfisa then confirms that her time on TLC is over by responding, “nope we are done.”

Dolores Catania Says It Would Be “World War III” If Caroline Manzo & Jacqueline Laurita Return To Real Housewives Of New Jersey For Season 10
Real Housewives of New Jersey has always had a strong emphasis on family. The relationships between the early cast members of this show run deep and there is a lot of genuine animosity along with some strong love. At the beginning of the series, Teresa Giudice was considered family by Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo, and their sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita.
Teresa and Dina are still close, but she has made it very clear that she cannot stand OG cast members Jacqueline and Caroline. Even Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga has issues with Jacqueline, although she is open to a Caroline comeback. Someone else who wants Caroline to return to the reality TV show is Dolores Catania. Not only that, but she wants Jacqueline back in the picture as well. Season 9 has already wrapped up filming, but bringing back the two OG’s sounds like a guarantee for drama for Season 10.
During an episode of the Kickin Back With Kelly podcast, Dolores couldn’t divulge much about Season 9, but she did tease, “It’s going to be a very good season.” Of course, pretty much every reality TV star says this about her own show, but Dolores insisted, “Let me tell you, Bravo is very happy with the season.” Let’s hope that the viewers will feel the same way. She promised, “There’s a lot of everything.” She could not be more vague, but it truthfully doesn’t matter. I will faithfully tune into this show no matter what.
Podcast host Kelly Dillon asked Dolores, “Are you still tight with Caroline and Jacqueline?” Without hesitation, Dolores answered, “Yes.” She elaborated, “I’ve known Caroline my whole entire life, even before Teresa.”
Just imagine if Caroline and Jacqueline return to the show, fighting with Melissa, Teresa, Danielle Staub, and whoever else while Dolores “Loyalty” Catania is stuck in the middle. That sounds like some premium content to me.

Dolores declared, “If they show up season ten, everybody is going to need a diaper because this is going to be crazy shit. It will be World War III.” She added, “Let me tell you. Shit is on. It’s going down.” That sounds like a show I would love to watch. Of course, I need to see how Season 9 plays out, but I’m always down for a Real Housewife comeback, especially when it can stir up some drama.
One OG who is very unlikely to return is Dina. When asked if they were still close, Dolores said “We were” without elaborating on the current state of their relationship. Even so, she did open up about their past, “We would go on vacations together. Her husband was always working and I was always single. When I met Dina she was crying in church after her divorce. Her sister Caroline said ‘You guys are a lot alike. You should hang out together.’” Dolores revealed, “I signed her marriage certificate.” That sounds like it was a very close relationship to me. Now I can’t help wondering how they feel about each other these days.
Dolores’ ex-husband Frank Catania appears on Real Housewives of New Jersey a lot and the fans love seeing the two of them together, but she actually does have a camera shy boyfriend, Dr. David Principe, who she’s been dating for a while. So is a proposal coming up? Dolores said, “We’ll see,” but it wasn’t necessarily in a hopeful or positive tone.
Not only that, but Dolores followed up with “He has a problem with people in his life. They’re very jealous and it’s a really big control in this relationship. After two years, you’d really think they’d let up. It’s like a dog with a bone.” She concluded, “Essentially it will be his decision, but I don’t have time to waste.” Will this play out on Season 9? Or will Dolores continue to keep her love life private?

Tamra Judge Puts Blame On Gina Kirschenheiter For Conflict With Shannon Beador In Jamaica
Just hand Tamra Judge a spoon and she will have no problem stirring the pot. Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson voiced (several times) that they are having a tough time befriending Shannon Beador, so Tamra told them about Shannon not checking in while her husband was in the hospital. She complained about Shannon’s complaints. She told them that Eddie Judge think she “enables” Shannon. She admitted that she puts up with Shannon because she “feels sorry for her.”
How would you feel if someone’s close friend described them in those terms? Would it make you think that she’s a good friend or someone you actually want to be friends with? Probably not. During a cast dinner, Shannon claimed “I’m never not fun.” That is a statement that many viewers can disagree with. Tamra picked up her metaphorical spoon and stirred things up when she pointed to Gina and declared with “You might want to ask this one.” And then Gina called out Shannon for being a bad friend to Tamra. Then Tamra did not speak up after Shannon claimed to be such a good friend. She said nothing and silence speaks volumes, doesn’t it?
Now that the episodes have aired, Tamra is trying to redirect the narrative in a Bravo blog post.
Tamra explained, “Shannon tends to close people out when she is upset. That is why it’s difficult for me to always let her know how I feel, because I always have that fear of her icing me out. It was difficult to have Shannon shut us out. We were coming from a place of concern (not gossip), AND nobody wants their friend to be alone in a foreign country. But that concern became frustration and anger when she wouldn’t respond to any of us.”
Before getting into the conversation that instigated Shannon’s meltdown in Jamaica, she took a little stroll down memory lane to the Bali trip, i.e. the trip where Tamra literally ran away when the conversation at dinner was not in her favor. She wrote, “Trust me I know exactly what it’s like, does Bali ring a bell?” Pretty much no one had sympathy for Tamra in that moment, so it really isn’t the best anecdote to bring up, but go ahead, Tamra.
Tamra wrote, “Not only was I alone after that dinner in Bali, but I also flew home by myself, and NO ONE CARED! I was going through the hardest time of my life. My ex-husband was trying to take away my kids, and I was devastated and scared. I wish I had a friend like ME to chase after me and make sure I was OK and let me know what I was doing to cause them concern.” Tamra wishes she had a friend like Tamra? She is very patient with Shannon. No one can deny that, but personally, I could do without the instigation of drama.
Tamra began her damage control: “I was upset that she treated me like that, just because I didn’t respond to Gina’s stupid untrue statement.” She continued, “To be honest, I was kind of in shock that Gina even went there! It was extremely mean of Gina to say Shannon was not a good friend to me. I wish I would have spoken up sooner!” What is so extreme about that? She was basing her claim on Tamra’s own words. Was it a very harsh conclusion to draw? Yes, but Tamra gave her those bullets and Gina just pulled the trigger.

Tamra explained why she didn’t defend Shannon… or even say anything at all: “My hesitation had nothing to do with what kind of friend Shannon is to me. Just pure shock of being put on the spot and that Gina would say something like that after I’ve been trying to help her become better friends with Shannon.” Tamra was trying to help Gina become friends with Shannon? Tamra’s description of a friendship with Shannon was not at all appealing. How is that “helpful to facilitating a friendship between Gina and Shannon? It’s just not the best marketing tactic.
Tamra continued, “The whole fight never had to happen. The discussion was supposed to be about Shannon not warming up to the new girls. Shannon apologized to both of them at that dinner for not having the time to get to know them, which should’ve been the end of it.” Then why did Tamra bring Gina into that conversation? Tamra is the one who put Gina on the spot, which set off the whole argument.
Tamra concluded, “I have learned a big lesson from all of this. I will NEVER vent to another friend just because I have a hard time communicating with another. You never know when it will be thrown in your face or used against you. The best part of this show is watching yourself from the outside and fixing the things you don’t like about yourself.”

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Recap: You Can’t Turn a Hamster Into a Housewife
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before — on tonight’s episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, it’s a Jersey Shore party house, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and a whole mess of alcohol. You know what’s about to happen? I knew you’ve heard this scenario before. Well, keep reading anyway.
The show starts off with the remnants of DJ Pauly D’s birthday party — the last party with everyone and a whole mess of alcohol. Pauly D called it a success even with the Jen Harley/Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Chris Larangeira/Angelina Pivarnick dramas. It’s the next morning and Pauly D is on his way to his next gig, but everyone else is eating breakfast and nursing their hangovers. Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley and Vinny Guadagnino leave first and Jenni talks about getting a house for everyone at the Shore for vacation.
Ronnie is obviously still upset because Jen bounced on him at the party — you can tell he’s upset when his hair is all mussed up — and is leaving, but he considered it a great party too. He recognizes that he’s the one in more control in his relationship and he’s hoping that he and Jen can work everything out. He may be more in control, but he’s also more in denial than anyone. Wake up Ronnie!
Three weeks later, Snooki texts everyone that she has found a house at the Shore for the summer. Jenni and Snooki stop by to see Deena Cortese because she is on bedrest. Deena talks about her pregnancy scare when she started bleeding. Deena says that the baby is fine, but she needed to go on bedrest because she’s still spotting (bleeding a little). She doesn’t want to go to the house with everyone, but if she gets better she may stop by. Snooki — or selfish Snooki as she calls herself — good name girl — is hoping that she still comes.
Jenni, Snooki and Deena talk about the triangle of Angelina, Vinny and Chris — and the idea of them wanting to have a threesome. Jenni says that Vinny’s penis is just like six degrees of Kevin Bacon. Snooki doesn’t get the joke. Raise your hand if you’re not surprised. Basically, it means anyone you name can be traced back to Vinny sleeping with them.
At their dinner date, Angelina and Chris are, not surprisingly, talking about Vinny again. Chris asks Angelina if they can stop talking about him. It lasts for just a few minutes when the conversation comes back to Vinny. Chris asks Angelina if she loves him. Of course, she says no and who knows if she is, but raise your hand if you think that Angelina is at least obsessed with Vinny.
Snooki is talking to Ronnie about the house that she rented, sight unseen. When she arrives on her own, she’s absolutely thrilled with the way the house looks, but there’s no beach anywhere even close.
Nicole lies to Ronnie about the beach, but he loves the house.
Ronnie and Nicole decide to get drunk while waiting for the others to show up. Ronnie makes them both drinks and the music keeps repeating ‘oh no’ as Snooki guzzles. She already feels drunk and they haven’t gone out yet. They decide to go out to eat, where Snooki confronts Ronnie on Jen and he tells her that everything is going well. “Is that before or after she dragged you in the car?” she said. Oh snap. She wants to know why he stays with her when Jen tried to kill him. Ronnie claims it wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to be — he claims he just fell outside the car and Jen didn’t know that he was holding on.
Nicole thinks that for the baby’s sake they need therapy and need to get better. She hopes that they are never in the news like that again — oops they were just recently! Snooki wants to dance so they go to the bar. She keeps talking about the spiral squad being back and she calls Angelina. Angelina is heading the house with her suitcases, but Snooki gets her to come to the club.
Angelina talks about how she and Chris need to talk because they aren’t in a good place right now — they are always arguing. Maybe that’s because she can’t stop talking about Vinny! She meets Snooki and Ronnie at a bar and by the time she drags her suitcase up the stairs Snooki said she’s ready to leave and passes out in the cab back to the mansion.
Back at the house, Chris calls Angelina and he sounds sleepy, but she thinks he’s pissed at her. The conversation doesn’t last long and Chris tells her to call him tomorrow.
Vinny and Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino are on their way to the shore and Mike says that the prodigal son has returned to the land.
Back to Angelina, who tells Snooki and Ronnie that she loves Chris, but that they fight all the time. She said he talks nasty and that he has been getting too comfortable about what he says. Ronnie starts giving Angelina relationship advice — screeeech, wait, what?! Read that again. Ronnie is giving Angelina relationship advice! Ronnie gets it right though when he says, “If I’m telling you what to do with your relationship, it means that your relationship is really messed up!” So true.
In the car, Vinny asks Mike if he’s looking forward to seeing Angelina and he said he thinks she’s fun. The conversation always seems to go back to Angelina and Vinny.
Angelina thinks that Vinny is in love with him. Snooki thinks that the two of them should just have sex and get it over with. When it comes to Angelina, Ronnie makes the comment that you can’t turn a hamster into a housewife. Wow.
Jenni finally shows up and they all get ready to go to dinner at Char.
Let’s see if this part of the recap sounds familiar:
Vinny asks Angelina, “How is your night going dear,” and Angelina thinks he’s flirting.
Nicole is getting drunk again. Asks for her favorite food while drinking, asparagus. Really?! Once she’s drunk, her alter ego Dren comes out and the rest of the squad wants to hurry up and pay the bill before someone gets hurt. Nope, it’s not 2009, but it seems like it.
In next week’s teaser, we see Vinny screaming at Angelina to stop talking about him.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Season 11 Taglines Are Here!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies are known for throwing the best shade and unleashing the most clever insults. With that said, the expectations for the Season 11 taglines are pretty high. The fandom is expecting a clever play on words, witty remarks, and an indication of what we can expect from them this season.
After many seasons of this show and the Real Housewives shows in other locations, there have been so many taglines. It’s tough to make a mark these days, but the Season 11 cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta sure tried. Which lady has the best tagline this year?
Entertainment Weekly shared the Season 11 taglines. The only remaining OG cast member NeNe Leakes has a tagline that’s both humorous and touching : “I am the glue for my wig and my family!” NeNe is known for switching it up with her wigs. Last season her bun started to unravel while she was yelling at Porsha Williams during a cast dinner. On a more serious note, NeNe’s husband Gregg Leakes is battling cancer, so it makes sense for her to mention her family in the tagline as well.
If I see or hear “50 Cynt” again it will be too soon. Sure, it’s a very clever play on words and her 2017 50 Cynt Halloween costume was beyond epic, but hearing about Cynthia Bailey’s fiftieth birthday for an entire year was just too much. Nevertheless, here we are and Cynthia has a tagline referencing her age: “I age like fine wine, and now, I am ready to chill.” At least it’s clever. Now we just have to hope she chills when it comes to the constant age references.

Kandi Burruss is all about getting that coin. She launches a new business (or three) every season. Of course her tagline is about money: “I count my blessings — and my checks!”
Eva Marcille’s tagline combined her America’s Next Top Model past with her new life as a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and a newlywed: “I live a model life, now I’m ready to be a top wife.”
Considering that Porsha Williams just got engaged and has a baby on the way, she could have given us a lot more with her tagline. Instead we have a thinly veiled reference to those rumors she spread about Kandi during Season 9: “I took a left turn but now, things are just right.”
The newest Housewife Shamari DeVoe may have the best tagline of them all: “I may be an open book, but that does not mean I am easily read.” Now I am very excited to “meet” Shamari when she makes her first appearance this season.
