Tom Schwartz on Whether Jo Wenberg Knew About Tom Sandoval’s Affair

There was always an air of mystery regarding Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz and his relationship with Jo Wenberg. Were the two roommates or a couple? The latest season of VPR confirmed the duo were in a situationship fresh off Tom’s divorce from Katie Maloney. This leads to another mystery… did Jo know about Tom Sandoval’s affair before everyone else? Tom was finally ready to spill the tea.  

Tom did not cover for Jo

Tom and Jo seemed thick as thieves on Pump Rules. The two went everywhere together, from boating in the park, attending dating events, and going on a trip with Sandoval and Rachel Leviss. So it was only natural for the cast to question if Jo knew about Scandoval before everyone else. That being Sandoval’s affair with Rachel after his decade-long relationship with Ariana Madix. 

When Lala Kent met up for hotdogs with Jo, she straight up asked her if she had known about the affair. Jo denied any knowledge as she only had eyes for Tom. Besides, she had assumed Sandoval and Ariana had already broken up. The whole situation seemed sus.  

Jo’s answers weren’t solid enough to persuade everyone she didn’t know. Leave it to Andy Cohen to crack the case! Andy had Tom and Kristen Doute on Watch What Happens Live, and Andy grilled Tom on the subject matter. 

During a segment called “Go Your Jo Way,” Andy asked Tom all things Jo. Tom admitted he loved Jo’s “zany” energy, and their relationship slash situationship was fun while it lasted. Then it got tense. Andy asked Tom if he stood by Jo not knowing about Sandoval and Rachel since they had all gone to Big Bear together. Drum roll, please!

Tom did not cover for Jo. He stated, “She knew what they told her.” Andy looked confused and Kristen interjected, “She knew.” Tom clarified, “As far as she was concerned, Tom and Ariana were breaking up.” Leave it to Kristen to come in for the assist. Mystery solved!

Marysol Patton Reacts to Todd and Alexia Nepola Divorce Filing

Marysol Patton has spoken up in the wake of Alexia Nepola’s oncoming divorce from Todd. As Alexia’s ride-or-die, it was only a matter of time before Marysol said something.

By her own report, Marysol was just as surprised as everyone else about news of the divorce. When Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 ended, Todd and Alexia seemed fine. That isn’t to say their relationship was problem-free.

Fans saw Todd let Alexia down in Season 6’s first episode. Then there was the matter of Todd doing nothing when it came time to find a new place to live. With all that in mind, perhaps Alexia is better off. But for now, the pain is most apparent.

Marysol was “completely taken by surprise” over Alexia’s divorce

On Alexia and Marysol’s podcast, Ay Por Favor, Marysol addressed the recent news, sans Alexia. “We’re all a little shocked and it’s not a good day for her to be here and participate,” she said. “What can I say? I am completely taken by surprise. I mean, I didn’t see this coming. It rips my heart apart because I can only put myself in her shoes and know how hard this must be for her.”

Many were taken by surprise at the news of Todd and Alexia’s reported marriage dissolution. Marysol tried to focus on Alexia’s pain. “We all have that dream of being in love and then we find a partner and we have the fantasy of the perfect life and then reality hits sometimes and it’s not what we thought it was going to be.”

Marysol continued, “Today we all got a big cold dose of reality. Things don’t always turn out the way we had planned. I’m very sad for her.” A dose of reality indeed. And despite all the drama that Alexia is capable of serving us, almost no one could’ve expected this. Perhaps that drama might be the silver lining for Alexia. But it’s hard to imagine that would outweigh the pain.

Tom Sandoval Spirals in Pump Rules Season 11 After Rachel Leviss’ Confession

Tom Sandoval is back to playing the victim. 

During this week’s Vanderpump Rules episode, Tom broke down after hearing Rachel Leviss reveal she “wasn’t in love” with him during their seven-month affair. Later, he told his complicit friend, Tom Schwartz, that he “made changes” to better himself for their future relationship. 

He continued, saying he wanted Rachel to “see the work that I’d done myself and [that she] would appreciate it.” Then, he started to put on the show he’s known for, adding, “I don’t understand how she said I was anything but somebody who just loved and cared about her. Like, I’ll do anything for her.”

As the scene continued, Tom said he wasn’t “ready to give up hope” on his relationship with Rachel until she declared there was nothing of substance there for her. “To go through all that and not even give it a shot, like what was it all for?” he said. 

Schwartz jumped in, telling his buddy that whatever he wanted to work out with Rachel was done. “It’s over, man. It’s been over.” 

DJ James Kennedy, who had a years-long relationship with Rachel, told Tom that his affair with Rachel was nothing more than a “f*ck fest for six months.” In fact, he declared the pair were “never in love.” 

Sandoval, who’s known for trying to defend the indefensible, fired back. “I would literally go over to her house and would spend like five, six hours together. If we had sex, it would be for a little bit; we would talk the whole time.” Oh, brother. Give me a break. 

Before the episode ended, Sandy also had a brief interaction with Scheana Shay, who revealed she wrote a song with lyrics that sounded like Tom and Rachel’s affair. The lyrics are: “From a Ferrari to a Jetta, thought you knew better / You went from something gold to something not and you could do better.” 

Sandoval, clearly upset, told his friends to “keep cashing on my misery” before doing the classic Tom walk-out. Don’t worry, pal — they will.
