Big Brother 20 Episode 16 Recap: Will Queen Bay’s Target Stay?
Queen Bay’s (Bayleigh Dayton) reign as Head of Household in the Big Brother 20 house has almost come to an end…thankfully. Unfortunately for her, this week in power has pretty much been a train wreck in the Big Brother world as far as rating Queen Bay’s ability to shine in the spotlight. She has been a tyrant to everyone, including her own alliance and allies. Most importantly, she gave up game-changing and very pertinent information to one of her own block nominees and members of the opposing alliance in the house. Oh Bay, what have you done?
Tonight’s episode will feature the Power of Veto competition where block nominees Brett Robinson and Rachel Swindler will have the opportunity to take themselves off the block for eviction. The Big Brother house is still heavily divided right down the middle and each and every vote will certainly count. Bayleigh’s target has clearly been set this week as Brett, but with the way the HOH has spilled the beans, so-to-speak, will her plan still come to fruition?
Deals and Dealings
At some point, Bayleigh decided it was a good idea to tell Rachel about her Power App, Identity Theft, and all of the details surrounding the reward. Now that Rachel has this extremely important nugget, will she share this info with her own alliance changing game plans for the houseguests “in the know”?

Vicki Gunvalson Says Brook Ayers Cancer Scam Haunts Her Daily
Even though Vicki Gunvalson is in a happy relationship with Steve Lodge, Real Housewives of Orange County viewers will never forget her scandalous relationship with Brooks Ayers. Even before that infamous cancer scam, the fans and Vicki’s costars were very turned off by him.
The guy was just a total user. Vicki even bought him new teeth. Sure, Brooks brought some iconic story lines to this show, but it was definitely at Vicki’s expense. Unfortunately for her, that relationship is something she will always be associated with.
In an interview with Too Fab, Vicki said that the Brooks cancer scam haunts her “daily.” She admitted, “That is something that I’ve had to recover from.” And so have the viewers. To this day there still so many unanswered questions about Vicki’s involvement in this scandal.

Vicki blamed everyone else for bringing this story line to a show that she willingly appears on (and gets paid to be a part of). She said, “I feel like the truth always prevails. I can’t change what the network did and what Bravo did and what the evolution of my production company wanted to film because I kept saying, ‘Stop talking about it.’ The girls were talking about it — ‘Stop talking about it.’ I couldn’t get the train to stop rolling.” Right. It’s the network’s fault that Brooks faked cancer documents….
Vicki confessed, “That was super hard on me. Super, super hard on me.” No matter how involved Vicki was in that whole mess she said. She also revealed, “I mean, I went into a major depression. Major, major. It was horrible because it felt like I was in quicksand and didn’t know how to get out of it.”
Get ready for this one: she actually spoke to Andy Cohen and “flew out to New York several times” to talk to him and other showrunners to convey her issues with this story line. She told TooFab that she was essentially told,”We’re following the reality of what the girls are feeling.” Well, yes. This is a reality TV show, after all. What was she expecting?

New Real Housewives Of New York Tonight: The Traumatic Boat Ride From Hell
After months of build up, the time has finally come: the Real Housewives of New York boat trip from hell. As of this moment, there has been a lot of speculation about what happened and finally it is going to be addressed.
There’s no word on how much will actually be shown, but it’s definitely going to be hot topic of conversation on tonight’s episode even the upcoming reunion episodes.
Aside from an actual sinking ship, there are plenty of sinking friendships within the Real Housewives of New York cast. The ladies are back with a new episode tonight at 9PM and the episode starts out where we left off: Luann de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley are still at odds while Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel continue run their former best friendship into the ground.

Real Housewives Of Orange County Alums Gather For Nobleman Magazine Party- Photos
I’ve always wondered what happens to the Real Housewives who get booted from their shows before they’re ready. In my head, there’s some sort of former Housewives support group that they all attend. Maybe there’s a group chat where they talk shit about the current cast members.
Even though Lydia McLaughlin is not on Real Housewives of Orange County anymore, she and her husband Doug McLaughlin are still promoting Nobleman Magazine. This time they are bringing many former Housewives together for this event.
Recently departed Housewife Peggy Sulahian and her husband Diko Sulahian were there, of course. Even the original Peggy- Peggy Tanous was in attendance. Now that’s a name we haven’t heard in a minute. Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek also showed up.

Big Brother 20 Week 5 Power Ranking-The Fall of the Mighty
Yet another dramatic week in the Big Brother 20 house has come and gone. With the fifth eviction on the horizon, it’s that time again where we see where everyone stacks up going into the next week of the Big Brother 2018 game.
We’re almost half way through the season, so it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to evaluate everyone’s position. From week-to-week, everything changes so fast. But, I’ll give it a shot anyways. Here goes nothing. This week’s Big Brother 20 week 5 power ranking.
12. Rachel
Sigh. Just a short week ago, Rachel Swindler was set up pretty well in this game. She was pushing for Kaitlyn Herman to stay, and it was probably the right call for her game. And now look at Rachel’s position in the house. That said, it’s almost entirely her own doing. Her paranoia this week has made her allies okay with abandoning her, whether or not it is good for them, and Rachel will most likely be shown the door Thursday evening.
11. Bayleigh
What an awful week for Bayleigh Dayton. She didn’t need Head of Househould in the first place, and it’s completely overtaken her to the point where she’s nearly wrecked her Big Brother game. It’s not completely unsalvagable but with Bayleigh’s power exposed, and she has really shown her cards this week, it’s not looking great. And with the blindside coming on Thursday, things aren’t look good for Bayleigh. If possible, she needs to settle back into where she was before this week.
10. Scottie
It’s tricky to evaluate Scottie Salton‘s game. While I think he has done a good job of flying under the radar, the Level Six side of the house has been throwing his name out a lot. Most of it may be because they thought it was their best chance to get Bayleigh to go after her own side. Scottie might actually be alright if he can stop both sides from seeing him as a sneaky player. Good on him for solidifying his spot with FOUTTE though by creating The Hive. Hopefully this can better insulate him for the next few weeks.
09. Brett
Brett Robinson continues to escape eviction, which is good, but he’ll continue to be a target, especially if they think his social game is threatening. He’s a glaring target, and honestly The Hive needs to put him against Tyler Crispen if they want him out for sure. And even then, Tyler is probably the better person to target. I think Brett’s continuous survival will only make the FOUTTE remnants want him out more, especially if he has another dramatic speech.
08. Faysal
Every week, I say Faysal Shafaat is in a precarious position, yet he hasn’t even been nominated yet. If Level Six winds up in power, he is certainly at risk of being backdoored. They have been mentioning Scottie and Bayleigh quite a bit, but I think they are coming around to the realization that Faysal is the biggest threat in competitions to Level Six. And besides Tyler’s victories, the other remaining Level Six players haven’t won squat so far. Perhaps Faysal can continue to skate by without a nomination, but it’s not likely unless his side wins power again.
07. Angela
I think it’s foolish of Angela Rummans to give up Rachel, and it will make the fake girls alliance really come crashing down too. The only upside for her is that she and Rachel were seen as a pair, so it might alleviate some of the target on her. But Angela will still seen as threatening and she hasn’t made enough social bonds to carry her far in the game. I wish she’d reconsider this vote, but Angela seems to be pretty locked in, and is ready to leave her closest ally in the dust. If Angela is willing to do that, everyone else should watch out.
06. Rockstar
Just a week ago Angie “Rockstar” Lantry was in one of the worst positions, but it’s amazing what everyone else has done to tank their games. And Rockstar has sort of been quieter this week and moved down the target list for Level Six. She still could easily go up on the block but I have a hard time seeing her being the one to go home if Level Six has control; they’ll have bigger targets, like Bayleigh, Faysal and Scottie, on their list. Let’s just hope for her sake that Angie doesn’t lose it when Brett stays, again.
05. JC
JC Mounduix in an interesting spot. While I think he is playing a somewhat dangerous game by continuing to play the middle and lying to several people, I think he still will be seen as a lesser target than many other houseguests. JC was potentially at risk this week, and if Bayleigh had nominated him instead of Rachel, he’d probably be going home. But if he can let the bloodbath of Level Six versus The Hive really take off, JC will be in a good spot to go deep.
04. Sam
Sam Bledsoe and JC are in similar spots except Sam is staying out of the middle of things. Nobody is really after her, with the exception of maybe Haleigh Broucher, and I still think she might end up seeing that there are bigger fish to fry. She is playing the game but in her own Sam way, and it’s probably going to keep her in the house for a long time. Kaycee Clark and Tyler are interested in protecting her, but I’m not sure how important Sam is to the rest of them. For now, she seems fairly secure in her position.
03. Tyler
Winning competitions is giving Tyler a high profile, but he continues to keep them all liking him enough to not want to target him, except for Rockstar. I think the split vote this week could be troublesome for Tyler but he’s escaped blame for these votes so far. I’m not sure I have faith in The Hive to finally piece it together. Bayleigh did mention wanting to use her power against him, but that may have changed. If Tyler is even nominated, he’d probably stay against most of them.
02. Haleigh
Despite the petty arguments and nonsense with Faysal, Haleigh is in a pretty good spot. Out of The Hive, she’s probably the last one that Level Six would come after. Watch, Haleigh will win Head of Household now and put a big target on her back like Bayleigh. That said, she’s in a good spot and is playing one of the better social games in there, so I expect her to be there towards the end of this.
01. Kaycee
Once again, I don’t see anyone in a better spot than Kaycee. She’s well liked by her fellow houseguests, and while her name has been brought up to be a person nominated beside Angela, I don’t think Kaycee goes home in almost any scenario. I actually think she’s the one person that maybe Tyler would be evicted against. She has a good look at a deep run in this, but in my eyes she’ll need to ditch Tyler at some point. Let’s see if Kaycee has it in her to play this game for herself.

Hannah Ferrier Says She & Captain Sandy Yawn Have Worked Through Their Issues; Kasey Cohen Dishes On Love Triangle With Joao Franco & Brooke Laughton
That last episode of Below Deck Mediterranean made it seem like Hannah Ferrier and Captain Sandy Yawn’s working relationship was done for good. They’ve had tension all season long and then all hell broke loose when Hannah went off with the charter guests to sip a soda without keeping her boss in the loop.
On last night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Hannah dished on where she and Captain Sandy stand these days. Kasey Cohen shared her side of that love triangle with Joao Franco and Brooke Laughton. Jamie Jason was there- just staying out of the drama like she has been all season long on Below Deck Med.
Kasey told Andy Cohen, “I kind of want to reiterate what Brooke said. He was telling us one thing. Like I knew one thing. She knew another thing. I think we didn’t really realize that he was kind of trying.. not trying, but playing both a bit, you know? And I don’t even know if he realized, to be honest with you.”
Andy asked Kasey, “What first attracted you to Joao?” She explained, “You know when I was seasick, I didn’t really have too many people trying to be my friend and try to be there for me.” She added, “Joao was actually very there for me. He was a very good friend to me and he took care of me. Unfortunately, you guys did not get to see that, but he took really good care of me.”
Brooke Laughton Says Hannah Ferrier Is The Laziest On Below Deck Med & Captain Sandy Yawn Is Too Hard On Hannah & Conrad Empson
Andy wondered, “Did you worry that part of his interest in you was his obsession with breaking your no sex streak?” After a long pause, Kasey answered, “No. I mean I think it was a challenge to him.” Did she not watch the show? Joao was so into the idea of breaking that no sex streak?
Once Andy asked Kasey all of those Joao-centered questions, he asked about the other person in that love triangle: Brooke. Specifically, he referenced a comment that Colin Macy-O’Toole made about Brooke when he was a guest in the Bravo Clubhouse. Andy said, “When Colin was on Watch What Happens Live, he said ‘A pencil could say something to Brooke and she would date that pencil.’ Do you agree?”
Kasey said, “I wouldn’t say it so harshly. I think that she’s just so obsessed… She loves love, you know? Who doesn’t? I think it’s nice that she’s hopeful.” So she does agree? Or she doesn’t? That answer backtracked halfway through, didn’t it?
Then Andy turned his attention to the other romance on the yacht- the one between Hannah and Conrad Empson. Hannah flipped out at Conrad when he told her that she owed him 50 Euros. For the record, I checked and this is about $58.39 in US dollars, Andy polled the audience “Did Hannah overreact about the 50 Euros? Or was she in the right?”
Hannah didn’t even wait for the poll results. She took ownership over her behavior and admitted, “I one hundred percent overreacted.” She justified her overreaction by saying, “I think sometimes when you’re going through stress, anxiety, and things like that you tend to take it out on the person that’s closest to you.”
Then Andy asked Jamie, “Does Captain Sandy play favorites in an unfair way? She has it out for Hannah and Conrad a little bit.” She answered, “There was definitely favoritism there.”
Joao says things were smoother when Hannah was sick
Andy commented, “It seemed like you started being a little nastier to Brooke when she started dating Joao.” Hannah refused to admit that and told him, “No. We always see that in interview and you don’t actually see that happening on the boat. So I feel like there was definitely a bit of a disconnect with our relationship, but you know these things happen.”
The episode took a random, yet exciting, turn when Andy pointed out that Kasey has a bunch of photos with Ariana Grande on her Instagram page because they are actually close friends. Kasey revealed, “I started out as a fan and then I ended up having mutual friends with her and then we became friendly.” Andy should have pushed her for some Pete Davidson engagement scoop, but there was just so much Below Deck Med drama to cover and not enough time.
All three cast members were asked to name their biggest regret from the season. Jamie answered, “Getting sick” which was not at all her fault, but then again she hasn’t really had much screen time to actually “regret” anything at this point in the season. Kasey cited “lying on my CV” as her biggest regret which is completely understandable. That was a major mistake.
The most surprising answer was Hannah’s. She admitted that her biggest regret from the season was “probably not communicating with Sandy. That was my bad there. I should have let her know about what was going on.” She also revealed, “Sandy and I have actually sat down. [We] had a chat. We hashed through our issues. We both apologized so we’re in a really good place now, so that’s a good thing.”

Tamra Judge Is On Kelly Dodd’s Side In Argument With Vicki Gunvalson
For two seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County, Kelly Dodd was the only Housewife who was loyal to Vicki Gunvalson. After Vicki hugged it out with Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador during the last reunion, she forgot about her friendship with Kelly. Or at least that’s how it comes across.
Vicki introduced Kelly’s ex-husband Michael Dodd to one of her friends, went on double dates with them, and she purposely hid it from Kelly. Of course, Kelly is upset with her. Vicki still doesn’t get why, but pretty much everyone is #TeamKelly on this one- even Tamra.
Tamra reflected on the last episode in a Bravo blog post. She admitted, “I agree with Kelly on this one!” Pretty much everyone does.
Tamra declared, “Vicki, you can’t go on double dates with Kelly’s ex husband and NOT tell her…NO, NO, NO!” She explained the reasoning in the same way that Kelly did on the show: “It’s not about Kelly NOT wanting Michael to date or if she left Michael or if Kelly is still in love with Michael. Kelly said herself that she wants Michael to find a girlfriend. It’s about Vicki NOT telling Kelly that she introduced Michael to her friend then going on double dates with them.” How is Vicki so confused about this?
Vicki Gunvalson Wonders If Kelly Dodd Still Has Feelings For Her Ex-Husband; Questions Emily Simpson’s Husband’s Job
Tamra emphasized, “Her loyalty is to Kelly not Michael. She should have told her. ” 100%.
The other Vicki-focused plotline of that last episode was Tamra and Shannon’s theory that Vicki’s man Steve Lodge was not filling her love tank. Months after filming those scenes, Tamra changed her mind. She wrote, “Let’s get one thing straight: I really like Steve and think he is great for Vicki. Since this episode, I have spent more time with them, and you can see Vicki loves him. I’m hoping and praying that this is her forever!”
She explained her thoughts during filming: “At the time I just didn’t see that passion that comes with a new relationship. Seemed more like she’s really trying to change who she is to make this relationship work. Vicki has a long history of whooping it up in Mexico, and she was not being herself. Usually, she’s driving the fun bus.” This was not the Vicki “let’s whoop it up” Gunvalson that the viewers are used to seeing in Mexico. We miss that Vicki.

Ashley Darby Denies Lying About Karen Huger Rumors
Yes, the women on Real Housewives of Potomac are stepping it up this year, but it’s Karen Huger and her mysterious finances that is elevating the show to a whole other level. This woman never has a straight answer about anything and it is endlessly entertaining- or at least it is to me.
One person who is not amused by Karen’s shady finances is her costar, Ashley Darby. Ashley is all about stirring the pot and calling Karen out for everything possible.
Ashley claimed that Karen’s go-to man Matt was telling people in Potomac that Karen does not actually live in her mansion and that she actually resides in a townhouse. Obviously, Karen denied that. She also tried to take a dig at Ashley’s credibility, saying she would believe anyone else but Ashley and that Ashley is just “jealous.”
In a post for her Bravo blog, Ashley addressed those jealousy claims: “Say what now? It’s understandable that Karen has trust issues and puts up a wall when it comes to outsiders. Not sure how I’m still considered an ‘outsider,’ but telling lies about Karen doesn’t serve me financially or spiritually – so why would I do it?” For a storyline?
Karen Huger Thinks Gizelle Bryant & Ashley Darby Are “Failed, Comical Liars”
Ashley continued, “This is why it’s hard to forge a deeper friendship with her because it seems as though she only listens to people tooting her horn. I’d be happy to support and uplift Karen if she ever knew how to be authentic. Who’s truth is she really living in? Jealousy is preposterous – if anything, I’m jealous of whoever gave her a new face. Karen looks good for 50 something, but we know it wasn’t all Maybelline.” In Karen’s defense, it isn’t “all Maybelline” for most of the Housewives.
The last episode ended with a Karen-centered cliffhanger, yet again. Ashley, Gizelle Bryant, and Robyn Dixon showed up at Karen’s mansion unannounced with a “pizza to deliver” so they could see if she really lived there. The episode ended with Robyn ringing the doorbell. Will Karen open up the door? Does she pull her go-to move and call security to remove them from the property? Does Karen really live there? And that’s exactly how a cliffhanger works: it leaves us wanting answers to our questions.
Gizelle Bryant thinks Karen Huger has a lot to hide
Ashley remarked, “In all seriousness, this pizza delivery was meant to be jokingly fun. While it was born from a shady moment, we were ultimately hoping Karen would open the door and we’d all share a laugh – even if Karen threw the pizza in Robyn’s face! It was all in jest about a question that no one firmly knows the answer to. All jokes aside, no harm was meant by the joke. If anyone would like to drive by my house with some cheese-free pizza, I’ll gladly accept!” Yeah, it’s “jokingly fun” to call out someone for lying about her home on a national television show… Then again, why would someone lie about her home on a national television show? I guess we will find out the truth next episode. Hopefully…

Below Deck Mediterranean Recap: I Ain’t Saying Eur(o) Goldigger
The ship pretty much hit the fan on last night’s Below Deck Mediterranean. I think y’all would agree that A YACHT happened. So sorry. The show started where last week’s episode ended. The chief stewardess and the bosun were in hot water with the captain.
Following Hannah Ferrier’s banishment to her cabin, Captain Sandy Yawn shrieks for Conrad Empson so she can lay into him about indirectly overworking Brooke Laughton. Sandy gave Hannah explicit instructions to return to the yacht after one quick Diet Coke. Given they were gone three hours, that must have been a massive Polar Pop of the D.C. (with that amazing pellet ice, obviously).
Sandy ticks off Conrad’s horrific mistakes on each finger, and when she runs out of fingers, she switches to bulging forehead veins. Conrad desperately tries to hold his own, arguing that he was just doing his job. Weren’t his orders to keep the guests happy at any cost? Well, it clearly cost Sandy three hours…but merely 79 cents for that Polar Pop. They are truly a deal! It’s a battle royale between Sandy’s forehead veins and Conrad’s hives, and finally Sandy hurls the accusation that triggers Conrad’s a-ha moment. Hannah never relayed to him that Sandy gave her a curfew. He isn’t throwing his girlfriend under the bus to save his skin, he’s just adamant to prove he was doing what he thought was a good job. Sandy softens. If he insists he had no clue about Hannah’s Sandy imposed restrictions, Sandy will believe him. This time. And this time ONLY. Conrad is dismissed after promising to take a deckhand instead of Hannah any stew whatsoever on the next tinder excursion.
Kenny and Amber are still having the best time folks can have without shallots, but Brooke and Kasey Cohen are stewing (literally and figuratively) about how much time they spend covering for their chief. Below deck, Conrad slams into his bunk with Hannah fast on his heels. Is it okay to chat? Absolutely not. He needs to be on his best behavior, but in his head, he’s repeating his failed “don’t screw the crew” mantra. Brooke is grateful for her new bond with Kasey in light of the douchebag triangle they were in together with Joao Franco as the obtuse angle, and Colin Macy-O’Toole keeps rolling out the jokes.
Hannah is summoned to the bridge. Hannah pouts sullenly as Sandy lectures her about traipsing around the Amalfi Coast with guests after Brooke covered for her with a 21-hour shift. Steaming, Hannah can’t hold her tongue. She doesn’t think she did anything wrong. Besides, who else could have poured tequila shots for Kenny and crew? At the end of the tiff, Sandy doesn’t the Bravo producers refuse to fire Hannah, and instead warns her to keep her distance.
Adam Glick knows he has to keep the focus on his onion-free food in hopes of distracting them from all the crew drama. Hannah tries to corner Conrad to schedule a time to dissect Sandy’s hazing, but he’s on his way back up to the bridge so Sandy can issue her signature noble-apology-hug-it-out move she’s perfected over the years. Conrad is relieved, but in the galley, Adam is peeved. Hannah was smoking her way through the charter guests’ booze cruise when she should have been organizing a scallion-y scavenger hunt. Hannah plans to redeem herself by delegating the onion hiding to Joao while pretending to do it herself. Kasey is relishing in her new role as Hannah’s kid sister…not because she needs her boss’ acceptance, but because it’s easier than the constant nagging she was used to getting. Plus, she gets all the dirt…and Hannah’s Chanel. Hannah offers her coveted face cream to Kasey with the caveat that she NEVER shares her Chanel…but the offer is made to point out how badly Kasey’s forehead needs exfoliating. Coco would never be so gauche as to endorse a backhanded favor.
Brooke is extremely creeped out by Hannah’s ability to overcompensate for her slackness. She is kissing ass and taking names, politely asking Brooke to prepare for the champagne toast before Brooke points out that it’s all set. Adam can’t believe how well she’s finally doing her job, and the guests are clueless as they revel in the chief stew’s bottle popping and onion parlor tricks. Kenny sits idly as his cohorts scramble to bag as many onions as possible to score the prize of throwing the chef overboard. The following morning, Hannah documents Adam’s splash as Joao questions Kasey’s silver service. She keeps her cool as she relays the guests’ observations about the coupling with Hannah, Brooke, and an eavesdropping Sandy. The captain turns her attention to Jamie Jason, urging the sickly desk hand to be responsible enough to recognize when she needs to rest so as not to cough up her other lung.
Conrad rehashes Sandy’s verbal lashing to Adam before the guests depart. Kenny has high compliments for Adam, Joao, Brooke, and Conrad. Sandy calls Hannah in for a less intense dressing down which Hannah responds to with aggressive eye rolls. Sandy’s low expectations hope that Hannah will just do her job and keep her boyfriend drama to a minimum. At the tip meeting, Sandy addresses the messiness of emotions and crew hook-ups before doling out the cash. She sings the praises of Adam’s menu and Brooke’s beach service before rewarding the guys with the biggest tip ever received. Kasey finds it hilarious that the greatest tip came without any help from Hannah, who considers herself to be the most essential crew member on the ship. As the Deckers prepare for a night out on the town, Colin can’t help but look forward to the end of the charter. He’s tired of watching his d-bag cabin-mate make out with the girl of his dreams. Conrad makes the ill-fated mistake of asking Hannah to repay him the money she owes him. Rookie move, Conrad.
On the way into town, Hannah is bragging about all the expensive cars she’s owned in the past, and Conrad teases he’ll never buy one for her. Oh, she knows. He won’t even lend her the cash to buy her a carton of cigarettes without charging interest. Hannah chastises Conrad for his penny-pinching while Jamie sits awkwardly in the cloud of awkwardness. A chief stew deserves to be spoiled so perhaps she missed the mark by dating a preteen bosun. Hannah spews the same to Brooke upon arrival to the restaurant, and Conrad chases her down when he hears she may head back to the boat. He comes upon Hannah blasting him to Adam and gets an earful before realizing her boyfriend is standing behind her. Conrad tries to speak with her rationally, but she can’t get over the fact he can’t get over fifty euros. She needs a provider. Everyone finally sits down, and Kasey and Brooke have a heart-to-heart. Kasey needs Brooke to know that if Joao was ever inappropriate with her, she’d immediately let Brooke know. She doesn’t want Brooke to be hurt and urges her to be careful with the guy who was openly hitting on both of them a few short days ago. Joao listens with a very smug, Patrick Bateman-ish look on his face which can’t be a good thing.
After explaining his issues with money and friendships, Conrad can’t wrap his head around Hannah wanting to be with someone rich more than she wants to be with someone who makes her happy. She insists he is wrong. It’s simply that Hannah isn’t willing to adjust her extremely lavish lifestyle to one his poor ass can afford. In what I believe is an effort to diffuse Conrad’s anger, Hannah admits her over-the-top statements were a successful attempt to bait him as punishment for not treating her to endless Marlboro Lights. Conrad seethes at her spitefulness and storms away from the table despite her efforts to stop him. Conrad joins his friends to unwind, and Hannah follows a few minutes behind him. When she finds him dancing, she asks him to return Adam’s shirt she was wearing. He wants to hash out the argument and not go to bed angry, but Hannah retorts that he clearly isn’t angry. In fact, he seems to enjoy having fun without her. Conrad, my friend, you can’t win this one.
Meanwhile, back in the club, Joao corners Kasey and cusses her out regarding her earlier conversation with Brooke. She handles herself like a pro while he just keeps moving higher on the douchebag totem pole of life. Outside, Hannah refuses to answer Conrad as to if she’d rather be poor and happy and rich and miserable. There is definitely trouble in paradise with this duo…although I’ll be curious to see if this breakup sticks for the remainder of the season!
