Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

Woohoo! I hope you fastened your seat belts, because the fun part of the roller coaster ride that has been Survivor: HHH apparently has started. There have been ups and downs, for sure, and as recently as last week I had finally came to terms with myself and declared this season a bust…well, a bust by Survivor standards, in which the worst season of Survivor is still better than any other reality competition show out there. I had written that the potential for a great season had been there, but at almost every turn, the game has swerved away from its best path forward.

But tonight’s double episode though! Just when I thought the ride was slowing down and easing me towards the exit, the show went and threw me for a loop de loop. Let’s get into it, shall we?  Please remember that this recap assumes that you have already seen this week’s double Episodes 10 and 11 of Survivor: HHH, so if you have not and don’t want to be spoiled, please come back later! It’s important to add too that while we WILL hit on all of the important developments of the episode, this is not a linear “blow-by-blow” recap, and is more of a discussion and reaction of what we just witnessed together.

Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

Wow, so much to get to this week! First off, thanks to those of you who waited until this past Monday for last week’s exit interview and Podcast. If you missed that interview and would like to hear from Cole Medders, click here. Of course, that episode last week ended with a head-scratcher of a Tribal Council, with Dr. Mike inexplicably playing his Idol and then having Joe follow his lead to vote out fellow Healer, Cole, much to the bewilderment of the rest of the players and the audience. This week we got to witness the reaction back at camp – which mainly consisted of Joe laughing at how terrible a move it was – and we did get some sort of explanation from Mike…as he describes it, he wanted to ensure that he kept Joe in the game, because he wanted to have a voting block of two, as opposed to if Cole stayed in the game, those two did not see eye to eye. But as we’re learning, just because it makes sense in Dr. Mike’s head, it doesn’t mean it makes sense…getting people to hate you and then wasting a hidden Idol may not have been worth just keeping Joe in the game.

But the real fireworks began after this. The double-ep began with nine players still in the game, and by the end we were down to seven. What came in-between was, without a doubt, two GREAT episodes of Survivor, back-to-back. This was some expert-level Survivor stuff people, and for the first time all season, the game actually went in the direction of the most exciting outcome.

Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

Let’s face it: I don’t think anybody is crying over the fact that JP was voted out. He seems like a nice, likable guy for sure, and was well-placed on a tribe full of “heroes.” But the dude obviously didn’t have much strategy, because we had barely seen or heard from him the entire season. When he did talk, he didn’t seem to have much personality, at least not in the way that we’re used to watching these real-life characters on TV. Due to time limitations on his end, CBS has only allowed us to email him three questions to answer…which is fitting, because I’m not sure how I would have filled a 15-minute interview with him.  Again, nice guy, but there just isn’t much to talk about there.

Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

On the other end of the spectrum, we lost Joe Mena tonight, who definitely supplied tons of spunk and personality into this season (his face is one that should absolutely grace the DVD release of Survivor: HHH). For me, he was sort of the likable scoundrel, a villain that I found myself rooting for from the get-go. The game just got away from him, and can pretty much be traced back to one distinct moment: When he incorrectly played his second hidden Idol on himself, and Jessica was sent home. It would have been a God-like move to have sniffed out the Jessica vote and played the Idol on her, but it was at that moment where Joe’s footing really was lost. He kept sliding on through these past few votes, but in the end it really was the best move to vote him out tonight. Why you ask?

Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

Ashley‘s last-minute plan to possibly blindside Ben would have been soul-crushingly epic, after everything he had just done for his newfound alliance (becoming a secret agent and putting on an Oscar-caliber performance, and whatnot). But I don’t think it was in that alliance’s best interest to do this to Ben at this time. In doing so, they would have first-and-foremost created a bitter jury member who would not only NOT vote for any of them if given a choice, but that sort of dirty blindside might have even tainted the rest of the jury pool. That would have also left Joe in the game along with his fellow #Coconut, Dr. Mike…a voting bloc of two. Chrissy and Ryan are another voting bloc of two, and if these two pairs would have decided to team up, they’d hold a 4-3 advantage all of a sudden. Yes, Lauren has her extra vote advantage, but even then it would create a scary 4-4 tie-vote in this scenario. I do think that if any of them would have known that Ben now has a hidden Idol, I feel like that might have been the tipping point that might have made them turn on Ben and vote him out with his Idol, so kudos to Ben for keeping this close to his chest. Yes, by voting out Joe, that alliance now has a solid 4-3 majority, and they now have the option to use Lauren’s advantage to get out a bigger target, like Ben should they so choose, down the road.

The formation of the powerful four-person alliance of Ashley, Devon, Ben and Lauren really was the big strategic development of the evening, but as we saw by episode’s end, there is no such thing as a full-proof, rock-solid alliance. Devon showed that he is an absolute beast in coming up with the whole Ben “double agent” thing (what a great idea), and Ashley too, is seizing this opportunity. None of this mentions Lauren, who is playing one hell of a game and can reasonably be named as the creator of this new alliance.

Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

This leads me to the most exciting point about the rest of this season: I still love this cast…I’ve said that from the beginning. I think there are several great players remaining, all of whom are just savvy enough to win it all. At this point in the game, I usually find myself examining a player and asking, “Would he/she be considered a great or even a good winner should he/she go on to win the game?” “Can I see this person winning Survivor?” Now with JP gone, is there really anybody left that you would answer “no” to these questions? I think Ashley still has some proving to do, and I think it’s clear that if Ryan were to somehow win, you’d have to admit that it wasn’t a dominant, “complete” game. But ANY of the others, including Dr. Mike? I think we’ve got a lot of great things ahead of us (and yes, it’s obvious that this season has gotten its hooks back into me)…and there is still much more game-play to come.

Episode Take-Away: A pair of strong eps has me suddenly leaning forward into what the rest of this season has to offer. Did you know that Finale night is on December 20th? That means only two (gasp!) episodes left leading up to that two-hour Finale. It’s crunch-time, and I like the way the game and these players are setting up for it.

Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

Strategic Move of the Week: This, hands down, goes to Devon, for his great plan to keep Ben “on the inside” of the enemy alliance. It worked good – almost too good as it almost led to Ben’s exit! – and really shows us how dangerous Devon is in this game…will any of the others realize it before it’s too late?

Voted out this week: JP and Joe

Won Immunity: Ashley and Chrissy

Vote #1: No Idols or advantages played. 5 – JP (Lauren, Devon, Joe, Mike, Ashley), 3 – Mike (Ryan, Chrissy, Ben), 1 – Joe (JP)

Vote #2: Ryan played Idol on himself. 4 – Joe (Lauren, Devon, Ashley, Ben), 2 – Ashley (Ryan, Chrissy), 2 – Ryan, negated by Idol (Joe, Mike)

Survivor: HHH Episodes 10 And 11 Recap: Buy One Get One Free

Next Week’s Episode: It’s the loved ones episode everybody! Bring your tissues! And the game looks to get even more interesting when it appears that Ben is catching on to the idea that maybe he is at the bottom of his new four-person alliance. Is it time for Ben to jump back on-board with Chrissy? His hidden Idol sure is looking important right about now.

Quick Note! Remember to return right here to Reality Tea for my FilmSurvivor Podcast Thursday, where you can listen to my full exit interview with Joe, and hopefully read my transcribed “three questions” with JP (if his responses don’t arrive in time, I’ll include them next week). Last but not least, I encourage you to check out my weekly movie reviews. And as always, the easiest way to get all of my Survivor coverage and movie reviews is to follow me on Twitter – @tomsantilli – or on Facebook.

Margaret Josephs Can’t Wrap Her Head Around Siggy Flicker’s Theatrics; Gets Candid On Family Heartbreak

Margaret Josephs

This week in her blog entry, The Real Housewives of New Jersey newcomer Margaret Josephs gives us a look at her family’s ups and downs. She also weighs in on the ridiculous over-the-top behavior of Siggy Flicker, most specifically her trying to make the cake drama seem equal to Margaret’s family heartache. Same, right? #sarcasm

She starts off her blog talking about her complicated relationship with Margaret Sr. “Family is sometimes hard work, and it’s definitely always a work in progress. Life’s journey doesn’t come with a road map, and there are pitfalls at every turn that no one can plan for.” “I love my mom so very much (even though she makes me nuts on a daily basis), and I’m so happy you are getting to know her better, too. As usual, Marge Sr. made an entrance, en pointe, in all her #bitchstolemylook glory…She’s the original glamour girl, and you can’t imagine how “interesting” it was to grow up with this one.”  She adds, “We have a great relationship now, but sometimes it was a bit One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. She’s only 20 years older than me, and it wasn’t always clear just who was raising who. Let me just say this: the dynamics never changed! Parents are a beautiful thing, and I really can’t say it enough—Marge Sr. is a piece of work, and a lot of work, but a beautiful blessing.”

Margaret touches on the agony of losing her relationship with her stepkids. She opens up in her blog, “I never called my kids my stepkids. To me they are my children. Being a stepmother was so wonderful and came so naturally to me. It was the most amazing love I had ever felt that was only crowned by the addition of my own son to the mix. Jan and I had a great family but, like happens to so many couples, not a great marriage. We were separated for some time but continuing to live together gave some a lot to talk about, and once we agreed to divorce, the public news of our separation was shocking to so many. That’s why I can appreciate how easy it is to look at couples, families, relationships from the outside and judge what you see. It might look like peaches and cream, but even on a good day, it could be a bowl of sour cherries. That’s why I don’t judge others’ relationships or compare other people’s lives to either mine or anyone else’s.”

RELATED: SIGGY CALLS MARGARET CRASS

She then shares that she was happy to connect with Dolores Catania but is disappointed in Siggy‘s reaction to it. “I was glad I was heard by Dolores that day. I empathized with her, and I realize that she’s not had the most fabulous life with the most fabulous relationships—she’s been a resilient, amazing mother, and has been a strong friend to many. I’m glad Dolores and I bonded that day, and I’m thankful we connected and established a mutual respect. It was a little disappointing to see Siggy struggle with seeing Dolores show some compassion to her arch nemesis, The Marge. Turns out I have a few layers and some dimension after all and she wasn’t happy to see Dolores, of all people, break the news.” She then snarks, “Of course, Siggy the Narcissist had to turn it around into something reflective about her—comparing me feeling heartbroken over a broken family to her falling apart over a flying cake. I mean…sadly, it seems that no matter what, Siggy’s disdain for me runs very deep. I could understand this kind of hatred if I had maliciously attacked her or truly come for her in some meaningful way. As I see it, I weighed in on a topic she brought to the table; I coined a pet name that most would find hilarious, “Soggy Flicker;” and I called her out on some boorish behavior I would want brought to my attention if I was the one making a fool of myself.”

Margaret says she’s shocked, and a little amused, over the dramatics. “It all just seems so irrational, doesn’t it? It’s baffling to me and, I’ll admit, a little entertaining, because I can’t honestly believe it’s all real. It’s so theatrical and so obsessive and absolute, it almost feels like a prank at times. I mean, I’ve moved on with many relationships that have endured way worse than this nonsense. From cheeky nicknames and poking fun, to me breaking down and showing the deep pain I feel from having a strained relationship with my children, she somehow always manages to bring it back to her.”

Margaret admits it’s all pretty exhausting, “Like I said at Gorga’s: it’s draining—insanely draining. The tears I shed are from real issues that have caused real pain. I’ve never met a pastry chef worth a faceful of tears. And as you may have guessed, I’ve never cried over a cake. I’ve cried over a mushroom risotto because it was surreal but never met a pastry that’s brought me to the brink of ocular meltdown or heartbreak. My heart is quite simply broken, and no amount of time can heal that. Those are years lost, memories missed, and moments passed I won’t ever get back. Every day I continue to work on those relationships with the clear intent to heal the wounds and get to a good place again. Thankfully, it’s a work in progress.”

Tonight is an all new episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey at 9/8 C. Join us in the comments for the snarky goodness.

The summary for tonight’s shitshow episode: While at Siggy’s retreat, the girls delve deep into their personal issues: Margaret opens up about her relationship with her step-kids and Teresa talks about her resentment towards Joe. Later, back in Jersey, Dolores plans a charity event and Teresa seeks advice from Siggy about her book. Meanwhile, Melissa and Margaret plan a fun surprise for all the ladies but tensions flare when Siggy and Dolores confront Teresa with a rumor they heard from Kim D.

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kenya Moore Has Some Scathing Things To Say About Kim Zolciak

Kenya Moore fires back at Kim Z

Kenya Moore fires back at Kim Z

It’s been obvious for a long time now that Kim Zolciak and Kenya Moore will never be friends and we’ll be treated to the boiling point of this contentious relationship on next week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In the meantime, Kenya is sharing her no-holds-barred opinions on her arch enemy in her latest blog. She reflects on this past week’s episode, letting go of her issues with Sheree Whitfield and much more, but mostly she’s got a LOT to say about her feelings on Kim.

On her and Sheree moving past their petty issues, “I don’t hold grudges. Sheree and I were primarily bickering over the status of the construction of our houses. That is so small and petty that it’s not worth holding on to. I defended her when it came to her issues with Bob, so it was never that serious for me. I’m definitely open to starting over.”

Kenya shares what popped into her head first when Kim Z arrived at NeNe‘s party, “I just noticed it got a lot colder and dark clouds appeared out of nowhere.”

She admits that she does not understand why Kim hates her so much. “No one understands why Kim has such hatred in her heart for me. She is the very reason I felt compelled to protect my husband from the Kims of the world. The ones who say I don’t deserve LOVE. Everyone deserves love including me.”

Kenya claims she’s been nothing but good to Kim in the past, “I’ve always been nice to Kim in the past. Yet Kim has attacked me since Sheree’s housewarming. I’ve been called a bitch, evil, ugly, dumb, fake, not a good person, soul-less. She spews relentless negative commentary regarding my husband, family, and my marriage. Kim is seen bashing my husband calling him a “fan” and going as far as to say I shouldn’t have children with my own eggs. What kind of person makes fun of a woman’s journey to have a baby of her own? An evil, cruel and heartless one! This is the behavior of a bad, mean-spirited person. By the way, my husband Marc is a former investment banker and now successful entrepreneur and restaurateur (IG: @socobk). YES, he is a fan of his wife and my biggest supporter – that’s why he married me.”

RELATED: CYNTHIA IS CONFUSED BY KIM’S ISSUE WITH KENYA

Kenya firmly believes that Kim was the aggressor at the party. She blogs, “She came for me at the party. As soon as she walked in she ignored me yet started taunting me about my new husband and new family, but I ignored her. She continued to provoke me by calling me a “bitch,” cursing at me, cursing my family, and being rude and obnoxious – and still, I ignored her trying to be the bigger person. I have always ignored Brielle’s nonsense, but my husband IS my family and Brielle is a grown “woman.” I am a mother. I am a wife. My marriage and husband have nothing to do with her.”

She also believes that Kim is actually very insecure as a person and can’t cover up that she’s still trash. “Everyone can see Kim is obsessed with and intimidated by me. Kim portrays herself to be confident, secure and happy in her marriage. Clearly, that is all a lie just like her overdone new face and body. You can put trailer park trash in designer clothes and a wig, but it’s still just #trash.”

Yikes! This rivalry isn’t going away anytime soon, but the good news is that it’ll likely make for really good reality TV!

NeNe Leakes Thinks Kim Zolciak Was “Looking For Some Sh*t To Start” At Her Party

NeNe Leakes Thinks Kim Zolciak Was “Looking For Some Sh*t To Start” At Her Party

Love her or hate her, you have to admit the the drama on this Real Housewives of Atlanta season went up a notch as soon as Kim Zolciak showed up at NeNe Leakes’ party.

Kim picked up right where she left off last season: coming for her newfound nemesis Kenya Moore.

But before discussing the Kim and Kenya drama, NeNe dished on other parts of the last episode in her Bravo blog.

It has been so confusing to keep up with NeNe’s relationship with Marlo Hampton over the past few years. They have been best friends, bitter enemies, and everything in between. So it was both surprising and expected to see the two of them hitting it off these days.

NeNe wrote, “Marlo and I have totally wiped the slate clean. I really do love Marlo like a sister — always have, always will.” Will the peace between NeNe and Marlo last this time around?

From what we saw on the last episode, NeNe was also getting along with Kim. Anyone who keeps up with the Housewives drama in between seasons is well-aware that these two are at odds these days.

Kim’s main conflict was with Kenya, but she did some make some remarks to irritate NeNe as well. Kim shared, “I went out of my way to be nice and accommodate Kim. I wanted nothing more than for us to elevate our friendship, but for some reason, I wasn’t receiving the same energy.”

NeNe continued, “She turned her nose up at my house! Never gave me one compliment. She talked about how hot it was the whole time, how she wouldn’t drink out of my glasses, and just generally complaining about everything!” The Housewives really love talking shit about each other’s homes and glassware, as if if there aren’t any exciting topics to beef about.

Now that NeNe and Kenya are cool, it makes sense that NeNe was on her side during the screaming match with Kim. NeNe recalled, “Then she started talking about Kenya and her husband, and everything went south from there. My mouth was hanging open in shock. Let’s be very clear: the way Kim carried on in my home, I could have NEVER done such a thing in her home, or else I would be called the lowest scum on Earth!” To say that things got out of hand would be a total understatement.

NeNe admitted, “I wasn’t surprised at all by Kim and Kenya’s argument, because Kim definitely came in the door looking for some s— to start!” Of course she did – people were eating up her argument with Kenya during the last season finale. Continuing her feud is the perfect way to mark her return to the show.

NeNe also remarked, “I was so excited seeing all the OGs at the White Party! I wish we could all get together more often and have fun.” ALL of the OGs? Was Deshawn Snow there and I just missed it?

Below Deck Recap: See No Evil, Speak No Evil

Kate Chastain

Kate Chastain

I hope Jen Howell is getting extra gratuities from Bravo, because Jen may be a terrible stewardess, but she’s basically the only interesting thing happening this season on Below Deck.

Let’s see: Jen has generally sucked at her job, publicly called her boss, Kate Chastain, a whore, gotten sloppy drunk once, or twice, maybe thrice, entered the book of world records for slowest latte making, was sexually harassed, but NOT sexually satisfied as she so desperately wants – instead Yachterella constantly bemoaned that she never gets taken to any balling, luckily Jen also gave herself an orgasm over dinner! She’s also thrown her chief stew under the propellor to guests, fought with Brianna Adekeye, resurrected the Jan Brady hairstyle one flowby at a time, and most recently scratched Bruno Duarte. A small part of me feels like Jen and Tom Cruise are soulmates – now that she’s officially too slut shaming for Kyle Dixon.

Sheesh guys, where is Jen’s fairy godmother?!

Bruno and Jen fighting on Below Deck

We pick up this week where last weeks’ episode left off – with a raging out of control Jen screaming in Bruno’s face while he tries in vain to ‘control’ this woman. Why was Bruno even involved? Apparently he decided that after Jen called Baker Manning a whore, he needed to protect Baker, then he got mad that Jen was directing her rage at him and decided Jen deserved to be punished by being LOCKED in the bathroom! Like solitary confinement. Except, despite his arrogance, Bruno is not the Valor decorum police.

I have SO many thoughts on this scenario. Like why was BRUNO complaining to everyone that Jen scratched him as if it was unprovoked! He put his hands on her and was literally manhandling her! I’d scratch his ass too! Yes, she was yelling but Kyle and Bruno got themselves involved when Baker was warning everyone to just let it go. Yet, everyone is behaving as if Jen needed to be restrained and Bruno was saving them from this wild SheHulkian creature. Why wasn’t anyone telling Bruno know how unacceptable it is for him to grab his co-worker like that? Also, if Jen is truly so out of control, why did no one get Kate, or Lee?

Jen Howell

The next morning, Kate did in fact ‘get’ Jen. In an emergency stew meeting, she informs Jen that she’s lucky she wasn’t fired and is no longer allowed to speak in anyway except to say, “How can I help” and “Copy, Kate,” while she officially becomes the boat’s bitch. Just like Jen imagine she’s been all along! Kate warns that if there’s even the teeniest of incidents she’ll be kicked off Valor. Basically, Jen is grounded. And she can’t leave her room without permission.

Kate lectures Jen

This charter season has been such an education for Kate – she’s gone from parenting an infant, to a toddler, to a small child asserting her independence, and now a surly back talking teen who needs a firm hand. Who says Kate asks Jesus for permanent birth control this Christmas?!

Nico checks in with deck crew

Meanwhile, a brown-nosing Bri is rewarded with her stew stripes! Nico also checks in with his deck crew, all of whom were victimized by Jen, to make sure they’re all recovering OK. Poor Bruno – he was most abused of all! That scratch! I hope he’s up to date with his tetanus and rabies shots.

Kate would actually love to fire Jen for insubordination and incompetence, but there’s one charter remaining and she can’t justify the extra hassle especially when extremely demanding primary charter Timothy is returning. Hey – he loves craziness, so maybe he’ll adore Jen? So in addition to micromanaging Jen, Kate is also micromanaging Matt Burns, who better wow these wannabe foodies with some super out of the box cuisine!

Unfortunately, despite all Kate’s threats and lectures, Jen is STILL not staying in line. She rolls her eyes, complains that she’s being denied food, calls Kate a bitch behind her back, spends eons fixing her hair and uniform (without permission) while she should be unloading food, mumbles under her breath, and then sticks her fingers in the serving bowl for the crew lunch and munches from it. Don’t tell Kyle – or maybe Jen did it just to torment him? I hope! HAHAHA

At least Jen apologized to Baker who, of course, graciously accepted; and Bruno, who acted as if he deserved the apology when he did not. Poor Jen – does no one understand that she just needs love and acceptance, like the Velveteen Rabbit!

Then it’s Timothy Time! A man Kate describes as revenge of the nerds and desperate to be cool. Last time he came aboard from a helicopter, this time P. Duddy is arriving via “alternative watercraft”.  I don’t know about y’all, but I was envisioning hot air balloons landing onto rafts, or perhaps a surfboard pulled by a dolphin? But nope – it was just plain old jet skis! With that pretension, Kate has feelings she’s about to take a baaaad trip (with bad company).

Kate’s other problem is Kyle. After he insulted Kate’s management of the stewardesses, he’s following her around the boat asking if she’s OK. Kyle may have been directing his original criticism at Jen, but Kate feels insulted nonetheless. Especially by someone who has NO idea the lengths she has gone to dealing with Jen! Poor Kyle is missing the point, though, and wants to know if they’re still friends, but Kate is mean girling him into submission. No, they aren’t friends because friends blindly obey. So, if he wants to get back in her good graces, he’ll have to be her bitch first. Later, Kate finds Kyle SLEEPING in the crew mess while on duty. Who is shirking responsibility now? I mean Jen still is, but Kyle, the hypocrite, also is (Kylocrite?)!

Timothy is the same as ever – arrogant, insufferable, and demanding. He comments that Valor is a step-up and a much more modern than the “floating Holiday Inn” he chartered last time. He immediately wonders where the internet is. Back on shore, bro! Timothy also has two more charter guest arriving later, but instead of waiting for them so they could all partake in alternative watercraft arrivals, Captain Lee has to pick them up the tender and they miss lunch. Timothy relishes that they’ll get soaked while he’s enjoying Caribbean-spiced fish.

Matt finally gets it together in the kitchen

Yes, Matt has FINALLY turned up the heat. No more salads! He’s grilling the whole fish complete with crispy eyes staring the guests down, surrounded by vegetables. Seeing the plates Kate feels like Big Brother Trout is watching her. She’s being judged and it’s not by Jen, this time! But Timorthy and crew love it.

And just when he was congratulating himself on all the improvements he’s made and how he’s a real-live yachtie now, Bruno injures himself while lowering the slide with Nico. In his cockiness, his leg was pinned to the boat by the slide rope. Bruno is blessed with some super nasty rope burn to add to his terrible scratch. Captain Lee considers them battle scars and lessons. Somewhere Jen’s crazy eyes glinted “KARMA BITCH” – maybe she put a curse on him. Next he’ll get fat and lose his 9-pack! But at least Bruno pulled it together and worked through his pain – unlike Nico who took a three-day staycation in his cabin being waited on hand and foot by Bri.

Bruno is injured

While Bruno nurses his wounds, Nico transports Timothy to a nearby island for WiFi access. While waiting for the guests, poor Baker is trapped on the tender with Nico as he pours his heart about what’s going to happen with Bri. Post-charter, they’re supposed to spend a couple days in St. Martin together, but suddenly Nico is missing Melissa and has doubts. CORRECTION: Suddenly Bri is having doubts and, feeling rebuffed and rejected, Nico is running back to Melissa, pretending he knew all along that she was the one. Sadly, Melissa forgives him.

Apparently, Nico ‘realizes’ what he gave up for his raunchy on-board fling, and misses his committed relationship with Melissa. Oh really? Isn’t that convenient. Suddenly, Nico and Bri are sleeping in separate bunks and he’s using his break time to call Melissa to make plans after charter season. Does Melissa have no self-respect? She was dumped, via text, like 10 minutes before Nico wanted to f–k another girl then started making out with her, yet she’s willing to give him another chance?! Nico is disgusting. He deserves rope burn on his peen.

Bri admits to Matt that she’s wishy-washy about letting things continue post-charter. She just wants Nico to understand that she doesn’t want commitment of any kind, even though he dumped his girlfriend for her. These people are soulless. Yet everyone hates Jen?! She’s only nuts.

Well, at least Matt killed it with dinner. His chef’s tasting meal was such a success, Timothy demanded the last minute addition of a 7th course. Apparently Kate literally has to do everything – even coach the chef through his nervous breakdown and into his zen place of good cooking.

Since Timothy has demanded an all-seafood/all the time menu, the next morning, Matt wows them again with lobster omelets. Hopefully he can continue his streak for the final circus-themed dinner.

As Timothy and his boys decamp to another island for wifi, Kate is left organizing this circus. And Valor is a literal circus! Each crew member is given a a role, Bri as the sexy clown, and Jen, mercifully, as a mime – no talking! Kyle is supposed to make balloon animals, but this suddenly seems an insurmountable task for the perma-clown. He can’t seem to get his assignment straight and repeatedly asks Kate when he’s supposed to do it and how. She pulls him in for a mental health evaluation.

Kyle

Kate realizes this is just another way of Kyle ‘checking in’ that they’re ‘OK’ – so she tells him straight out that they’re NOT. After treating him distantly and extra-bitchily all charter, she informs him that insulting her work ethic and blaming the stewardesses for issues on the Valor is unacceptable. Then she demands he get out of her face because the queen has a champagne tower to construct and no more time for peons.

Kate

Kate reminds everyone that for all his lavish spending on spraying champagne, 5-star meals, and extra demands, Timothy is still extra stingy with the gratuities. What a douche!

Next week is the season finale – and we find out if Timothy is impressed enough with the crew to hand out the big money tip, and things between Jen, Bri, and Kate explode!

Cynthia Bailey Is Confused By Kim Zolciak’s Issue With Kenya Moore

Cynthia Bailey's date with Will

Cynthia Bailey's date with Will

So far this has been a pretty enjoyable season of Real Housewives of Atlanta for Cynthia Bailey. She threw a Cynthia-themed birthday party for herself and she has been going on dates with her new man Will – and the chemistry is undeniable between the two of them.

There’s been zero drama for Cynthia other than what she’s witnessed from the other ladies. Seeing the back and forth between Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak in person without the bleeps censoring the curse words had to be unreal entertainment. Or at least that’s how I would have felt if I was there.

Cynthia talked about the last episode in her Bravo blog which included that perfect frozen yogurt date she had with Will. Well it WAS perfect until he brought up the blogs drawing attention to his “relationship” with Cynthia even though they were only on date two. Then again, he was dating her in front of reality TV cameras, so he couldn’t have expected it to remain “private” for long.

Cynthia wrote, “I was totally shocked to see the blogs talking about my new relationship/friendship with Will so soon. We had only recently met (at my 50 Shades of Cynthia birthday party) and had only gone out on our first date when a mutual friend posted a picture of us with her and her husband on her social media.”

She continued, “Two days later, it was a hot topic on The Wendy Williams Show and all over the blogs. I was like, ‘Wait, we just met!’ I wasn’t ready to go public, so we were both caught off guard.” Oh, well. Will seems super into Cynthia so she probably doesn’t have anything to worry about.

Getting to the major drama of the episode, Cynthia admitted, “I was trying to figure out Kim’s issue with Kenya.” The “issue” is most likely rooted in securing a story line.

Cynthia said, “I know they had words at Sheree’s [Whitfield] housewarming party because Kenya (and Kandi) went into Sheree’s unfinished basement. However, that was a while ago, and Kenya and Sheree have moved on since then and are cool now. I was very confused.” Again, it is most likely rooted in securing a story line. From that point on, insults were exchanged, the shade got darker, and no one truly knows what they’re fighting about.
