House of Villains Season 2, Episode 7 Recap: Kandy Is Out for Blood

You’ll need a hazmat suit for this week’s House of Villains recap. Things got extra messy in this episode, and literally, no one made it out without getting their hands dirty. After all, they’re villains.

House of Villains Season 2, Episode 7 had blood, sweat, tears, and of course, a little bit of glitter thanks to Kandy Muse. By the end, three more villains got added to the Hit List, meaning they’ll have to fight to stay alive for the $200,000 prize.

After Camilla’s elimination, the villains regrouped and entered a bloody Battle Royale Challenge to determine a new Supervillain of the Week. Meanwhile, Wes devised a game-changing strategy that might be the craziest thing we’ve ever seen in a competition show. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

As if that’s not enough for one episode, Victoria and Larsa’s bickering reached new levels of toxicity. It got so wild that even Joel seemed a little bewildered. Keep on reading to get the details on everything that went down this week.

Kandy wants revenge

So far on House of Villains, Kandy’s alliance has been taking hit after hit. First, it was Larissa, then Richard, and most recently, Camilla. Realizing that the numbers were completely against her, Kandy came out of the Bashiment Ceremony making it known that she wasn’t going to be backing down.

Plus, there’s a lingering question about that vote against Camilla. The votes came to 4-2, so someone in the house is lying about how they’re playing. Either way, Kandy vowed to get revenge and loosen Wes’ grip over the house. Every cult crumbles eventually.

Elsewhere in the lair, Larsa hilariously tried to broker peace between Teresa and Tiffany. After their wild blowup in the previous episode, the two still had some lingering tension.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey probably weren’t surprised to hear that Teresa still felt hung up on the fact that New York accused Luis Ruelas of cheating. That’s a line you should not cross. However, thanks to Larsa, they were quickly able to squash their beef. Tiffany didn’t realize that Teresa couldn’t take that kind of heat.

“Sometimes I do get your show mixed up with Mob Wives,” Tiffany said in an attempt to smooth things over. “And I love Goodfellas. That’s one of my favorite movies!”

A bloody Battle Royale Challenge

For this week’s Battle Royale Challenge, Joel brought the villains into the Stronghold. Instead of its usual grey walls, they wrapped everything in plastic and put the villains in hazmat suits. Then, they learned that the name of this week’s challenge was “Blood On Your Hands.”

When Joel initially explained the rules of the game, it felt like he was explaining rocket science. Seriously, he made it sound so complicated, and you know they had to explain it really slowly for some of those villains.

In a nutshell, the villains had to trick each other into opening bags filled with fake blood. They’d face off in pairs, and the last person standing with no blood would win Supervillain of the Week. It’s a game of deception, which seems perfect for a Real Housewife, right? Wrong. Larsa and Tre got covered in blood, and it wound up coming down to Victoria and Kandy. That’s a lose-lose situation for Larsa.

In the end, Kandy wound up winning Supervillain of the Week. It came just in the nick of time because otherwise, she probably would have ended up on the Hit List. For the Supervillain reward, Kandy chose Jessie and New York to accompany her. She said she felt like she could trust Jessie. New York on the other hand, she’s just a wild card with a penchant for psychic visions. Why wouldn’t you want her in your corner?

Wes has an ace up his sleeve

When Wes came into House of Villains Season 2, he claimed that he was a MENSA-level genius. That might not be the case, but he is certainly a genius at being a reality TV competitor. Those skills were on full display this week once Kandy won Supervillain of the Week.

Although Kandy’s allies have mostly been eliminated, Wes realizes that she might be setting herself up to win the whole thing. If all of her friends have been eliminated, they’ll serve on the jury to decide who wins the whole thing. Those positive relationships are what helped the Season 1 winner. With that in mind, Wes decided to reveal his secret weapon: a fake prop promising immunity to a player who “discovers” it.

In a prerecorded video, we see Wes pulling out his best arts and crafts skills to make a note. It read, “Congrats, Villain! You have discovered a hidden immunity pass.”

Seriously, this thing was pretty convincing, and all of a sudden, it started to make sense why Victoria found that random Knock Blocker at the beginning of the season. The producers probably knew Wes was planning this trick and wanted to help make his lie seem more believable.

Where Wes messed up with this plan was that he lied and told Kandy that the immunity letter was actually a perk that would allow him to hijack her Supervillain of the Week status. That’s a big lie on top of an even bigger lie, and it proved to be a bit too much. After talking it over with New York and Jessie, Kandy realized something was suspicious about what Wes was trying to sell her.

Decisions, decisions

Ahead of the Banishment Ceremony, Kandy the Supervillain had a lot to consider. First, she had to figure out the look — she settled on an oversized blazer and black pumps. Then, she had to figure out how to handle the Wes situation. Does she take a chance and go after him, even if it evokes some type of “secret immunity pass?” Or, does she go after his alliances to weaken their group and even the playing field?

Ultimately, Kandy went for Option B. She sought to handicap the Wes cult and get some revenge for people who screwed her over earlier in the game. She decided to nominate Safaree, Victoria, and Larsa.

Those nominations should have been plenty of drama for one episode, but of course, Larsa and Victoria took it as another opportunity to rip each other to shreds. If they’re next to each other, they’re fighting, and at this point, the fact that Vicotria was ever even invited to Larsa’s dog’s birthday party is shocking.

As the villains walked out of the Stronghold, Larsa told her fellow villains that her beef with Victoria was getting “toxic.” She desperately wants her out of the game. Meanwhile, Victoria had her own thoughts on the drama.

“Dude, I seriously want to punch her in the f-cking face.”

Season 2 of House of Villains continues on Thursday nights at 10/9c on E!.

Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Episode 19 Recap: The Attacks Continue in the OC

Welcome to the recap for Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Episode 19, “Reunion Part 2.” Last week the women gathered for Part 1 of the reunion. Katie was put in the hot seat. And Jenn was forced to defend her relationship, again. One thing was for certain, Tamra and Shannon were not going to be friends in the near future.

The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, Part 2, kept fans entertained. The tell-all picked up with Jenn questioning her friendship with Tamra. For two seasons, the women have been on shaky ground as Tamra has constantly come for Ryan. Once again, Emily brings up the fashion show faux pas to Heather. Fancy Pants continues to interrogate Katie. The cherry on top this week is that Alexis joined the ladies on the couch.

Jenn deals with being cornered by her concerned friends at the RHOC reunion

The episode picks up with Jenn once again being placed in the hot seat. As Katie tried to defend her friend, the women piled on. Heather tried to explain that most of them were coming from a place of concern, but the Yogi seemed unphased as she dug her head deeper into the sand when it came to the topic of Ryan. However, Tammy Sue did apologize for mispeaking about Ryan’s home being raided by the FBI. Jenn, who was almost in tears, noted, “These things have a real effect in people’s lives when you make these kinds of statements.” This segment was wrapped up pretty quickly because, let’s be honest, there was no drama.

Is Tamra a ‘historical friend?’

The tides quickly changed as Tamra was finally held to the fire. Jenn called out Heather for saying Tamra was a “historical friend.” The connotation is that the actress wouldn’t be friends with Tamra if it wasn’t for the show’s history. Jenn might have been on to something because Heather lit up like fireworks on the Fourth of July. “By the way, I do not talk like that,” Heather quipped and included a finger wag.

I loved Jenn’s passion as she doubled down on Tamra, sharing, “There is a common thread that no one is speaking of.” Immediately, viewers know what she is talking about. Tamra has a way of being a bit coarse and aggressive when it comes to anyone who questions her line of thinking. When asked if she feels she takes things low, Tamra noted that everyone does. But Shannon piped up to share, “I think you take it lower.” I guess Tamra never learned Michelle Obama’s quote, “When they go low, we go high.”

Someone needed to get Jenn a calculator on the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion

Jenn had a fleeting moment to relax, but it was gone in a blink of an eye. Production put together a montage of her spending, and it was not pretty. As a lawyer, Emily felt it wasn’t morally right to sign a contract to pay $12,000 in rent a month when she couldn’t afford it. I mean, the math adds up. Jenn shared that her ex was still living in the home at the time. But she opened up about being more in control of her finances. She told the cast she now knows when her car payment is due and how much is owed. This feels like a weird, humble brag coming from a 47-year-old. However, it seems like “Malibu Broke Barbie” is on her way to being a little more self-sufficient.

Alexis has been resurrected

RHOC Season 18 Heather Dubrow and Alexis Bellino

Let’s get to the meat of this episode, shall we? Andy asked a pretty interesting opening question regarding how religious Alexis was when she first appeared in the series. Alexis once noted, “God was first. Our marriage was second. And our children were third.” Alexis revealed she still believes in those values, but the rest of the women seemed uncomfortable with her line of jargon. Honestly, I wanted to fast-forward this part but, for obvious reasons, couldn’t.

Before walking out onto the stage, Alexis claimed, “Honest to god, I don’t want to fight. I just want to speak my truth.” But the moment she stepped out onto the stage, all she could do was be Johnny J’s voice. When arguing about the blackmail videos verbatim, she repeated John as she told Shannon, “You have a strange relationship with the truth.” Come on, girl! Let’s come up with your own remarks!

The women don’t agree much, but everyone wants Alexis to stop being John’s mouthpiece.

The Real Housewives of Orange County continues on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 9 Recap: This is Not the Brat Summer I Thought We Were Headed For

RHOSLC Season 5

Welcome to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 9 recap. Last week, Bronwyn and Todd hosted a couples’ weekend in Palm Springs, but Todd said he wouldn’t tolerate any bullsh*t. Bronwyn was hurt that Meredith and Lisa took Heather’s side in their fight without listening to Bronwyn’s account of what happened. When Lisa decided to call Heather while they were in the hot tub, a fight ensued. Todd told John that either Lisa had to stop the fighting or they would have to leave. Keep reading to see exactly what went down in the RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 9: “Revenge is Best Served in Coach.”

What happened on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 9?

RHOSLC title card

In this week’s Super Sized episode, more arguing makes lunch very uncomfortable, until Seth breaks the ice with an asparagus joke. Things get heated at Todd and Bronwyn’s anniversary party, but the night ends well. Angie asks about Bronwyn’s daughter Gwen “reconnecting with her grandparents” and gets shot down immediately. The couple enjoy a day at the Thermal IndyCar Race Track before flying commercial back to Salt Lake City, and Lisa has a tantrum about having to fly coach. Here are some of the highlights from RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 9.

More fighting over lunch in Thermal/Palm Springs

As they sit down for lunch, Bronwyn interviews, “There’s just nothing else we can do next after a contentious morning than just sit down and break bread together. Bon Appétit!”

Things are definitely tense. Suddenly Lisa decides to speak up. Wait, what happened to sitting down one-on-one?

“We didn’t get to finish our conversation,” she starts. But Lisa can’t stick to the subject at hand and drags Whitney into it.

“I could have sworn I was about to get an apology from Lisa,” Bronwyn says in a confessional. “I still want that apology, but it takes Lisa so long to get to an apology that by the time we almost get there, someone else is mad at her about something totally different.”

Todd’s had enough of the bickering and tells Bronwyn he’ll be in the other room. But his wife urges him to stay.

Meanwhile, John thinks Lisa is being persecuted unfairly. “Whose turn is it next to yell at Lisa?” The man must love her because he can’t see how crazy she is.

After John steps in and seemingly settles the fight between his wife and Whitney, Bronwyn confesses, “All we needed was the men to come and solve our silly little women’s problems. The end!”

A voiceover announces, “Next time on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” Just kidding!

As everyone’s starting to settle down, Shawn says, “Did you call my wife a f*cking bitch?” And we’re off again.

Suddenly, Seth asks, “How many people here, when you eat asparagus, can smell it in your urine?” And just like that, the tension is broken.

Todd and Bronwyn’s Excellent 10th Anniversary Party on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

“I would go to the opening of a can of tuna fish,” Bronwyn proudly proclaims. Girl loves herself a party, and she’s certainly going to throw a big one for her and Todd’s 10th wedding anniversary. “This is a big deal!”

Looks like Todd sprung for the $4 million diamond necklace after all. The caption says, “Bronwyn’s anniversary present,” as he fastens it around her neck. Wow. It’s gorgeous, but what I could do with even a fraction of that amount?

So this is an actual party. Other people are invited, and there’s a mariachi band. I love me some mariachis and margaritas!

During dinner, Angie brings out whiteboards and Sharpies. Apparently, in honor of Todd and Bronwyn’s anniversary, they’re going to play The Newlywed Game. Do we have to? This is so overdone.

When the question is, “Who apologizes first?” Seth’s answer is, “Sorry, good morning.” Meredith laughs, “He’s got more to apologize for.” There’s obviously some tension in that marriage.

Next question is, “What’s your favorite sexual position?” I would be tempted to answer, “None of your f*cking business,” but I wouldn’t be playing this stupid game in the first place.

Next question, “Who is your wife’s least favorite person at this table?” Now I see how Angie got that center snowflake. This is not going to cause trouble at all. Angie’s got her own spoon, apparently.

Are we all just “beating a dead horse?”

The conversation shifts. Lisa still thinks Justin owes her an apology, but Lisa says she was just “frustrated” with Justin because what he was saying was a lie. Oh, we’re back to this now. Can’t we just play nice at the dinner table?

“I am so over this argument about who started the Alibaba rumor,” Bronwyn says in a confessional. Bronwyn says she’s almost to the point where she wants to confess that it was her just so they can move on. In fact, she jokes that she might use Todd’s phone later to start a new Twitter rumor so they can finally “talk about something else.”

Justin finally acknowledges that his reaction to Lisa calling his wife a liar was probably stronger than he meant it to be, and he apologizes. In return, Lisa apologizes for putting him in that position. Yay! Are we done now?

In the spirit of bringing up things we all thought were settled, Meredith tells Shawn that her feelings were still hurt that he never apologized for commenting on her son Brooks. Shawn thought they were good, and in fact, doesn’t even remember saying anything about her son. But Seth pulls up a headline on his phone that says, “Shawn Trujillo Accuses Meredith Marks of Using Her Son Brooks After Gay Rumors.” Look at Seth with his good taste in entertainment websites.

“Proof, biotch!” Seth yells triumphantly. What happened to the men staying out of the women’s business?

“A headline from a random blog proves nothing,” Angie says in a confessional. Hey, Reality Tea is not some “random blog.” Puhleeze. Show some respect, Angie!

At last Shawn says, “If I said anything demeaning against Brooks, I’ll certainly apologize, but I haven’t done that.”

Finally, Meredith realizes she’s “beating a dead horse,” and she’s moving on.

Angie unknowingly steps into a minefield on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Attempting to change the subject, Angie brings up what she thinks is a happier topic and asks about Bronwyn’s daughter Gwen “reconnecting with her grandparents.”

“No, Gwen is not reconnecting with her grandparents,” Todd says sternly. “We are not going there … That’s worse than what you’ve just been through.”

“It was a surprise when that came up with Lisa and I,” Bronwyn explains. “Not all surprises are happy in the moment.”

Todd acknowledges that Lisa’s intentions were good. “Lisa didn’t mean to step on a minefield,” Bronwyn adds. “I’m the one who showed her the picture. It was an accident.”

“This is over,” Todd says. “It’s not a minefield. It’s not even a field we’re walking into. This is not gonna happen. This is over.” Todd is very protective of Bronwyn’s daughter. He’s helped raise her for the past 10 years, so he doesn’t want to see her hurt.

“It’s done,” he announces. Subject over. How was that minefield, Angie?

In a confessional, Todd sums up: “It’s a personal issue for Gwen and Bronwyn … It’s no one’s business to discuss at a dinner table.” I totally understand his feelings on the matter.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are off to the races at the Thermal Club IndyCar Race Track

Apparently, the rest of the night went well. There was a drone show with hearts in the sky (does anybody else get the feeling that Todd is stinking rich?), they played pool, and the ladies all sat in the hot tub without screaming at each other.

“Waking up this morning,” says Whitney, “aside from a slight hangover, I think we’re all in a better place.”

And they’re off to the races. Literally. Their destination is the Thermal Club IndyCar Race Track. It’s very exclusive (I Googled it).

“Bringing the girls to a race would be one thing,” Bronwyn explains. “But this is super VVIP … Indy is important to Todd and I in that it was one of our first dates.” Todd is very close friends with retired Indy driver Davey Hamilton. Bronwyn contacted him and had him create an exciting experience for the group.

They get to meet Indy 500 Winner Josef “Ken” Newgarden, who’s racing today. He’s very cute. Seth asks “for a friend” if he’s single, but he is not. “Sorry, Heather,” he says.

They also get to visit the pit, where all the cars are serviced during the race, before retiring to their private suite to watch the race.

Bronwyn asks Lisa, “When you’re done taking selfies, can we chat?” Bronwyn wants to finish “whatever happened” yesterday.

But the racetrack is not the best place to have a heart-to-heart. It’s very, very noisy. Finally, Bronwyn gives up trying to talk above the engines, and they agree to pick it up back at the house.

Bronwyn and Lisa finally talk without resolving anything

Bronwyn and Lisa dip their feet in the pool. “I think me being friends with your friends has changed things between us,” Bronwyn tells Lisa. “And I don’t totally know why?”

“I felt like Heather was upset,” Lisa explains.

“I don’t know what Heather did when she left,” Bronwyn says. “But I sat in my house in tears. I know you’re saying that Heather was … explaining her side, but Heather also dropped some bombs in there, like, I’m two-faced, and I’m conniving, and I’m mean, and that’s nasty, Lisa.”

“Lisa’s unwillingness to [defend me] tells me that she feels a way about me that I didn’t know she felt,” she adds in a confessional.

“I felt like I was in a hard place,” Lisa says. She didn’t like being in between her two friends.

Bronwyn feels like Lisa’s more concerned about Heather’s feelings than hers. “I don’t need you to be worried about my feelings,” she says. “But I was crying that day, and I’m on the verge of tears right now … Do you think it’s fair for her to say I’m terrifying?”

Realizing who she’s talking to, Bronwyn says, “I’m gonna put the bar all the way on the floor so you can trip over it. Is your experience of me that I am two-faced?”

Rather than just answering the question, Lisa repeats it back to her, which infuriates Bronwyn.

But in a confessional, Lisa admits, “It’s hard for me to answer this question because I do think [Bronwyn is] two-faced sometimes. I don’t feel like I can trust [her] 100%.”

Finally, Lisa admits to feeling bad that Heather left Bronwyn in tears. She agrees that there’s a huge misunderstanding between them.

Bronwyn just needs a little more balance. She needs her friend to support her.

Is anyone surprised that Lisa Barlow is too good to fly coach?

I guess they’re not taking the private jet back to Salt Lake City, cause Bronwyn’s booked them all on a commercial flight. As everyone’s checking their seats, Lisa has a mini meltdown.

“I don’t carry Coach, and I don’t fly coach,” she says. “No one wants to be the last one to get off the plane.” It’s no wonder Lisa’s friends all seem to turn on her when she acts like this.

She tells Angie that she needs to get to the airport so she can “fix” her ticket. Lisa needs an upgrade, stat!

“It’s a small plane,” Angie tells her. “You’re never going to get first class in this plane.”

Bronwyn explains there are only four seats in first class, so she puts herself and Todd in first class and the rest of them next to their husbands in the best seats available. She’s paying for everything, after all. Pay for your own PJ if you’re not happy, Lisa.

“Lisa losing her mind about a 47-minute flight in coach is not the brat summer I had hoped we were headed toward,” Bronwyn interviews. I had to Google #bratsummer. I had never heard that expression before. I’m officially old.

“I have already gotten Lisa a private plane,” she adds. “I have gotten her a gift; I have gotten John a gift; I have gotten them a rental house. She can sit in coach for 47 minutes. She’s gonna be fine.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Erika Jayne Gives Dating Life Update: ‘I’m Very to the Point, and Men Don’t Like That’

I think we can all agree that dating can be frustrating. But dating as reality TV star Erika Jayne takes it to the next level.

The controversial Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate split from her disgraced husband Tom Girardi four years ago. Since then, she’s openly admitted that she’s had her fun. That doesn’t mean she’s off the market.

Erika recently explained why she’s raised her standards and stayed single.

Erika Jayne is doing fine on her own

On a recent episode of Two T’s in a Pod, the How Many F–ks singer shared that she’s not even on the celebrity dating app Raya. “I probably should be on there, but I’m not,” Erika said. “Does anyone know how to get me on? I have no [idea].”

Erika noted she could benefit from the dating app because of her approach when talking to men out in the wild. “I’m very direct, I’m very to the point, and men don’t like that,” she explained.

Even so, the 53-year-old bombshell has a good reason for wanting to meet someone in person. “I never look at men and find them attractive,” she told host Teddi Mellencamp. “I always say this. I’m never looking at the way someone looks, necessarily. I’m always looking at the feeling I get from them.”

During an August appearance on the pod, Erika declared she is “never going back” to dating again. She also revealed that marriage is off the table for now. “I don’t feel that that’s where I’m at,” Erika stated.

She continued, “I have a lot of work to do and I really just want to be successful on my own. I have, for my first time, my own thing. For real, for real. And being a grown-up, you know? Like this isn’t being 20 being married to your husband, and having a child. This is Erika out on her own, doing it, and it feels good.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 premieres on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
