On tonight’s Southern Charm, Kathryn Dennis got a chance to sit down with Craig Conover to explain the changes in her custody arrangement. Up until now, fans have heard ad nauseam that Thomas has full custody, and Kathryn has no access to Kensie (Kensington Calhoun Ravenel) and Saint (St. Julien Rembert Ravenel). But tonight, we learned that all of that changed back in the early fall, despite quotes in the press to the contrary about Kathryn not having any custody of the children.
And even Thomas admitted, albeit just to Whitney Sudler-Smith, that Kathryn indeed had passed her test, and was seeing the kids once again. But for all of his claims that he wants Kathryn back in the lives of the kids, it sure doesn’t seem that way. Episode one of Southern Charm, season 4 featured Thomas Ravenel telling everyone that Kathryn was refusing to take a drug test because she knew she would fail, yet when she passes, and gets the kids back, he only tells Whitney, who seems as if he could care less about Kathryn and the kids. Truthfully, Whitney seems as if he would rather not be on Southern Charm at all.

So, for all of you keeping Southern Charm score at home, this is the way things go. Filming started at the end of August, near Labor Day, when Kathryn had just returned from Malibu rehab, and according to Kathryn, she came home clean, and stayed that way. Filming wrapped before Christmas, and through most of February, Kathryn had visitation every other weekend with both kids.
Southern Charm season 4 did not start airing until April, so what fans are seeing now, happened over six months ago, and obviously a lot has changed, as is being seen on social media. On Bravo reality shows, I’m told that whether you are a real housewife or a charmer, you get to see the episode in advance of it showing on its given night, so that is what likely gets Southern Charm cast members ranting on social media in advance (though they are told not to.

Though Thomas seemed to want to keep the change in custody, and the information that Kathryn had passed her drug test hush-hush, Kathryn got the chance to sit down with Craig, who, let’s face it, is the voice of Charleston, and tell him the news that she would be able to see the kids “for two weekends a month.”
Unlike most get-togethers on Southern Charm, Kathryn asks for water, and Craig has a Coke. But of course, Craig could not help himself from reporting that in his opinion, Thomas’ parenting at the polo match left something to be desired, as “the help” had the kids, and Thomas could not be bothered to greet the kids. While it seemed that Craig totally believed that Thomas should have done things differently, it seemed that it was also Craig’s way of endearing himself to Kathryn

And it seems that we will find out that the same is true for Shep’s birthday party at sea. As the Southern Charm faithful know, last year Shep was furious that Landon didn’t invite Kathryn to his birthday party roller-rink disaster. But this year Kathryn opted out, as a booze cruise, trapped at sea with Thomas and Landon seemed, well, like it could end up being an episode of CSI Charleston.
But in other news, the previews for next week show fans that they will finally get to see that confrontation between Kathryn and Jennifer Snowden, as what seemed like a friendship of convenience is officially over, and word is that there will be tears. Naomie finally seems to take Shep and Cameran’s advice, as she asks Craig if he really wants to be a lawyer, and Thomas is feeling nostalgia for a time when he could walk into a Charleston bar, in his tight white jeans, and get everyone’s attention. He tells Whitney he has lost his mojo, but if social media has anything to say, he won’t find it in white jeans.

Now that Naomie Olindo and Craig Conover are such a solid couple, she is bigger part of Southern Charm and I’m into it. So far, she’s not involved in the drama, but she provides some interesting perspective.
Naomie explained why the cast targets Craig and the disconnect between Craig and Shep Rose. She defended Kathryn Dennis as a parent. She also tried to make sense of Landon Clements… which is quite the task.

Naomie shared her thoughts with Stassi Schroeder during an interview on her Straight Up With Stassi podcast. Stassi asked about Craig’s gardening and his other hobbies. Naomie clarified, “During that time he was finishing his thesis.” She explained, “When he was filming, they’re not gonna film him sitting at his desk all day. So they’re like ‘Go do what else you would be doing if you weren’t writing or reading.'” And I guess that’s where the gardening and carpentry comes in.
Naomie theorized, “I think Craig is kind of an easy target for them- maybe. It’s kind of a double standard. Craig doesn’t have the goose egg that a lot of his cast mates have. So I think that’s just like a point that they have that they feel like they could be harder on him.” They’re also just desperate for a story line. So many of them contribute nothing to this show- all they have to offer is hating on Craig.

Before the scary weekend spent in the hospital with her son, Kim Zolciak was a guest on The Real, which aired today. Kim sets the record straight on the rumors of daughter Brielle Biermann getting butt implants and also addresses her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta – it’s not a done deal just yet, despite reports stating otherwise! She also shares what we can expect this season on Don’t Be Tardy – she teases there’s something big going on!
On returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kim explains, “I’m in talks, but I don’t want to come back full time. I have Don’t Be Tardy, so why would I want to do that? I would do both.” She explains that full time would mean “the whole season, reunion. No.”
When asked if she’d like to just do guest appearances here and there, she says, “a few of them. Listen, they pay, so…. I got six kids to feed, honey. I’m not dumb.”
She says that doing both shows was a lot when she did RHOA and the wedding spinoff, but now the kids are older so she believes she can do both. “Money motivates me, honey.”
When asked why she thinks they want her back on the show, “I just really call people as they are, I think. I see right through you. I’m very psychic, very intuitive, so I feel that, too and I just say it like it is.”
Kim then throws a little nasty dig at the other cast members, “No one has really grown in five years, except for Kandi. She had a baby, she got married, but I feel like when I left five years ago, they’re all kind of still in the same place. I’ve had a few babies since then, we’re on season 6 of Don’t Be Tardy, whatchyou doin’?”
They play a promo clip of her upcoming season of Don’t Be Tardy and Kim shares, “this season is so fun, there’s something really big that’s going on. I’m currently filming. You’ll see Brielle and the love of her life. She’s kind of growing up which makes me a little sad. She’s 20. She in love, in love, like FOR REAL and he is, too, so I’m a little bit nervous about that because she is only 20. Ariana is a handful at 15 and she’s changed.”
She says that in their family “Kroy is definitely the disciplinarian. He spends a lot of time talking to them. Me, it’s like ‘Ariana! Please listen to me, I’ve been there!’ Kroy definitely enforces like the grounding and I’m the ‘here’s your phone, you’re breaking my heart!'”
The ladies of The Real ask how the kids deal with Kim‘s fame and popularity? “Ariana has a hard time with that. She’s more of a follower versus Brielle being a leader, so I monitor all the social media. She doesn’t have it on her phone, it’s on my phone. People say some horrible things and it affects her. ‘You’re fat, you’re this.’ It’s crazy!”
They broach the subject of Brielle supposedly having plastic surgery and some comments that were made by Joseline Hernandez insuating that Brielle had her butt done. Kim says Brielle is tiny (5’3″) and takes after her mom and is very proud of her booty. She admits to taking Brielle to get her lips done. Kim says she won’t be taking her for boob implants, butt implants or anything similar until after Brielle has babies and then they’ll revisit the conversation.

If I was on Vanderpump Rules, I would go on vacation as soon as the last reunion episode aired (and it seems most of the cast HAS done just that). It has to be so exhausting to turn up and argue with your friends (and frienemies), rehash all of the drama when the episodes air, and discuss it all again at the reunion. That’s why I don’t blame Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright for escaping West Hollywood and visiting his family in Florida.
I know that Jax and Brittany filmed their spin-off series in Kentucky with her family, but I really wish there were some cameras around when they were with Jax’s family. I cannot be the only one who wants to see what it’s like to be Jax’s parents and sister. I would love to see how they deal with him being such an infamous reality star.

Jax and Brittany took this trip in between filming reality TV shows so we will not get to witness any arguments about turkey sandwiches or watch Jax and Brittany get matching tattoos- which did happen. Thankfully, Jax did not channel his Season 2 self and get a tattoo with Brittany’s name on it. So he has at least learned one lesson over the years- that and he got a tattoo to honor someone he is currently dating instead of an ex this time around.
From swimming with manatees, to drinking on the water, to getting those tattoos, Jax and Brittany documented plenty of the highlights from the Florida trip. Check out their photos!

Even though Tom Sandoval and James Kennedy both dated Kristen Doute and hated each other for a season and a half of Vanderpump Rules, they are way past that now and they are actually boys. I stopped trying to figure out the boundaries within this cast because that’s just a lot easier.
These two united to defend Lala Kent against the “mean girls” in the cast. And of course, they both had some comments to make about Kristen. Tom revealed which moment at the reunion made him tear up and James admits (again) that he used Kristen.

James and Tom stopped by the Pump Rules Podcast to break down the last season. At the reunion, Tom stepped in to defend Lala when she was arguing with Katie Maloney and Stassi Schroeder, but he still admits, “I didn’t feel like Lala didn’t do anything wrong. She definitely did, but Lala took responsibility for things and she tried to apologize. She knew she screwed up.”
What really bothered Tom was that “Those girls hadn’t really taken any accountability. They were playing the victim. They were like ‘Oh my god. Out of nowhere Lala is saying these really mean and hurtful things.’ And I’m like ‘Guys, let’s be f***ing real here. You started it.'”
Apparently the epic hate against Lala all stems back to when she interrupted Stassi and Kristen’s awkward speech at the engagement party they weren’t even permitted to attend at Lisa Vanderpump’s house. Tom recalled, “I think that was probably the most wasted I’ve ever seen LaLa. The funny thing was that the things that she was saying- and I get it, it was definitely rude- but she was taking the words right out of my mouth. She was telling Kristen and Stassi to wrap it up because they were literally rambling on and on and on and on and on.” And they weren’t even supposed to be there. I feel like if I was going to an event at someone’s home and I wasn’t cool with the host, I would try to politely blend in with the wallpaper instead of jumping up on stage.
Tom complained, “One of the things that irked me was Kristen up here doing this big speech about how she’s pretty much responsible for Tom [Schwartz] and Katie being together and I’m like ‘bitch, you f***ing tried to break them up.’ I don’t need to hear a f***ing ten minute long speech about how you’re the matchmaker, they owe you.” She did introduce them though.
James said that Ken Todd was behind him laughing and Tom alleged, “I heard Ken kind of provoking Lala to say something.” I doubt that Ken even cared, but then again, I wasn’t there… unfortunately. Because of that interruption and I assume the part when Lala pushed Kristen at the after party Tom declared, “From then it was a shit talk fest back and forth. Lala said some pretty f**ked up things.” Yep. No better way to rekindle a friendship than by hating on the same person together.
Never in a million years did I expect Katie to apologize to Lala during the reunion and neither did Tom since he admitted, “I thought it was amazing. I was starting to well up at that moment. I was very touched by that. I thought it was a really good move.” If only he had a dog on hand to wipe his tears on.
Still, Tom isn’t the captain of #TeamLala. He recalled, “Obviously I kind of tore hard into Katie about the accountability, but also I tore into Lala a lot about her shit. We put ourselves out there. We all put ourselves out there and it’s not fair for you to be doing this and Stassi said the same thing. I agree with her.”
Tom continued, “Even when Kristen and I were at our worst, I would never want her off the show because at least she puts herself out there. My biggest thing is if somebody is going try and come in, f**k with our lives, and not give any of her own, that’s the issue.”
He also revealed that something he said to Lala at the reunion got cut out: “If you decide to come back on here our f***ing show, you don’t start playing for the team and quit two weeks later or ghost and stop showing up for the f***ing games when we’re all showing. You have to show up, commit, and put yourself out there the way we do. Otherwise, don’t f***ing come back.” Now that is something I wish made the cut.
Even though Lala tends to distance herself from James and reel him back in whenever it’s convenient, James tried to back her up. He said, “She signed up for the show, whoever she’s with didn’t.” But still, he admitted that her flakiness took a toll on him. He revealed, “Obviously her walking away from the show upset me a lot because she was my only friend and ally that I could have lunch with. When me and Tom hang out it’s because we can’t go to lunch with everybody because I’m not invited.”
Tom mentioned he is relatively cool with Kristen– at least enough to be civil at a group event- but James had a totally different story. He said, “I’m not cool with Kristen. Kristen’s not cool with me. It’s not like I give a shit really.” Eh, it kind of sounds like he gives a shit since he immediately followed up with this anecdote: “After the reunion- the first time I saw her in a long time- she walked into Pump, goes to Lisa’s table and sits directly across from. It’s like I’m f***ing invisible James and she’ll ting everyone’s glass except mine. She’s f***ing nuts.” Tom interjected, “I’m glad that’s the case, she took her cross hairs off me and Ariana [Madix].” That’s not how the phrase “cross hairs” is used, but I get his point: Kristen coming for James takes time away from hating on Tom and Ariana.
Tom told James, “You and Kristen’s relationship was by far the most toxic relationship I’ve ever seen.” And then James told an unflattering anecdote: “I would be at Topshop, just pick out what I want and hand it to her and be like ‘Go sort this out darling, and I’ll be downstairs.'” And Tom had no choice but to respond with, “Are you serious? Then she did kind of take care of you then.” And James just admitted, “Yeah. I don’t give a shit.” Clearly.
After the obligatory discussion about their mutual ex, they got back to talking about the “mean girls” of the cast: Stassi and Katie. James declared Stassi “always made herself leader of the crew,” but Tom disagreed. Tom said, “I think Katie was more of the ringleader this past season.”
Tom (sort of) gave Stassi some compliments: “I’ve seen a change in Stassi. She’s become a little bit more self-aware. She’s a little less egotistical.” And then he added, “This past season she definitely inherited Katie’s grudges,” which is kind of weird since “she never really talked to Lala, but she went out of her way to go against LaLa, attack LaLa, try to sabotage her and it was strictly because of Katie.” James agreed and said, “The more she hated Lala, the happier it made Katie I think.” That’s definitely how it was “edited.” This season was definitely a rough look for Katie and that’s putting it mildly.

It sounds like Jessica Lange loved playing Joan Crawford as much as fans loved watching her on Feud: Bette and Joan. "I certainly learned a lot about Joan Crawford that I never knew...There’s no word yet if Real Housewives of Potomac will be around for a third season, but Ashley Darby is doing whatever she can to make sure that she’s a part of the cast if the show does return. She has no trouble putting Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and Robyn Dixon’s complicated relationships on blast.
That’s why Andy Cohen had no choice but to poll the Watch What Happens Live viewers last night to ask “Is Ashley stirring the pot or is she being a concerned friend?” It didn’t really seem like she was “concerned” when she pushed Charrisse to introduce her to Eddie Jordan at their daughter’s sweet sixteen even though they weren’t on speaking terms. It also didn’t come across as “concern” when Ashley brought up Eddie’s presence at the party during a group hang at the hookah bar, but Ashley has a different view on her behavior.

Ashley told Andy, “These women love to talk about themselves all the time, so why can’t I have my questions? If you’re going to be someone who’s always like ‘my husband this, my husband that,’ why can’t I ask the question? It’s literally like Big Foot and I spotted him in the Himalayas.”
A viewer asked, “Do you shade the other ladies’ marriages to hide the flaws in yours?” Ashley said, “Well everyone knows that marriage is not perfect” and I thought she was going to leave it at that politically correct and pleasant answer, but that was far from the case. She went on, “One of the things I will say is that I’m learning along the way, but at the same time if I were in a relationship that was going on for twenty years and it wasn’t happy and I would not be with someone for five years if I wasn’t sleeping in the same bed.”
Obviously she was throwing shade at Charrisse and Robyn with that one. And of course the camera panned to Ashley’s husband Michael Darby nodding in the audience in agreement- obviously a “we are still together” confirmation that happened multiple times throughout the episode.
Ashley was asked about the possibility of having a baby soon and she said, “Michael and I are still practicing, but the restaurant is the first baby. So once that actually gets on it’s feet, we are going to wait for a little bit. The pull out method does work. I will say.”
I have no idea why anyone would ask this, but Ashley was asked if she talked to Eddie? Now that would be the ultimate shit stirrer move if she did. Thankfully Ashley said, “I have never talked to Eddie,” and then she got a little shady again and declared, “I’m not allowed to go within like ten feet of him.”
Andy read a tweet from Charrisse with a message for Ashley: “Have a couple of kids before you judge my life.” And Ashley clapped right back with “I’m only twenty eight. Thank you.” This one didn’t make the episode, but Charrisse tweeted another response at Andy and Ashley that said, “Focus on your marriage truths. You know nothing about mine.” If that’s what Charrisse is tweeting at Ashley publicly, I would love to see what she’s sending to her privately. You know she’s blowing up her phone with messages.
A viewer asked Ashley is she thought Robyn and Juan [Dixon] will remarry and she answered, “No, I don’t foresee that. I actually don’t want them to. I think that they had their time and now it’s time to move on.” And I’m sure Robyn is blowing up Ashley’s phone as well.

When all of New Orleans is in trouble, there's apparently only one young witch who can save the day. Danielle Campbell is returning to The Originals for one episode, E! News can...This Real Housewives of New York season has been a tough one for me to watch. All of the nastiness between my two favorites Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley made me uncomfortable. These are the two funniest ladies on the show. It has been killing me to see them talking shit about each other and arguing in the previews for upcoming episodes.
Thankfully there is some light at the end of the tunnel: these two are on speaking terms again and are back to getting along well. They actually did a joint interview together. Even if this season continues to be rough between them, I have some hope. Yet, at the same time, I’m hoping that some footage doesn’t air to reignite their feud. Typically, I don’t mind the Real Housewives drama, but these are two people that I want to see getting along. I need them bringing the comic relief and the meme-worthy quotes.

I’m still not over the fact that Sonja and Dorinda were sitting on the same couch and getting along for their Facebook Live interview with Entertainment Tonight. After I got over that initial shock, I was ready to see what they had to say and I just wish I could binge watch the whole season right now to know what happens. I am that into it.
At the start of the interview, the two funniest Housewives (at least in my opinion) addressed the elephant in the room: their onscreen (and occasionally off screen) feud. Sonja said, “I’m so glad about where we are now” and Dorinda revealed that Season 9 “ended on a very positive note.” Sonja even admitted, “I didn’t ever want to see you again. You texted me ‘Come to the Berkshires. and I was like What?'”
Still Sonja warned, “The viewers are going to go through some pain though with us. It was hard. It was tough.”
Dorinda declared, “It was necessary” and explained “We had to go through it in order to get past it.” Yikes, but at least this season should be interesting. Sonja added, “We’re better people for it.”
Dorinda and Sonja were asked if they thought “Bethenny [Frankel] is too obsessed with herself? Luann [de Lesseps] seems to” and they both immediately said “No.” Dorinda elaborated, “I think Bethenny has a very, very, intense life and doesn’t have a lot of room for foolishness. She’s all about keeping it real and moving it forward. Who cares? Bethenny is her most honest candidate. She is the most honest about herself. She doesn’t need people to tell her about herself.” Sonja agreed and said, “She has a bull shit monitor built in. When you’re bull shitting her, she knows.” Dorinda explained, “It just doesn’t work because she’s the first one to call bull shit on herself.”
Sonja revealed that new girl Tinsley Mortimer becomes closest to Carole Radziwill which seems kind of random to me since I always forget that Carole is a full-time cast member on this show. When asked who Tinsley gets along with best on the show, Sonja said, “Carole and her funny enough. Carole was feeling like she was in the shadow of Bethenny.” Which is one hundred percent accurate. If it wasn’t for people hating on Carole for her allegiance to Bethenny last year, she would have had zero story line- even though that doesn’t actually count as a story line.
One best friendships that I still miss is Ramonja. I loved when Sonja and Ramona Singer were turning up and supporting each other unconditionally. It killed me to watch Ramona throw her under the bus- repeatedly. Sonja recalled, “I didn’t know what I wanted to do with Ramona because I did not talk to her all summer. She was saying all these terrible things about me last year. She can’t be seen with me because she’s dating? I’ve been embarrassed by her for thirty years.”
Another relationship that I miss is Sonja’s interaction with her inexplicable army of interns. I never really understood how an accredited university was on board with this scenario, but I was always entertained by it. Sonja explained, “I really enjoyed my experiences with the interns. It as very gratifying. I needed them and they needed me. Once I was after the Chapter 11 reorganization I had the bank accounts back- I can’t. It’s a lot of work. It’s exhausting to be side by side with a student all day. You have to check their work and critique.”
For the record, it was also mentioned that Sonja now has an assistant who hasn’t appeared on camera and I assume this person is paid. Or at least I hope so. Then again, I would be in Sonja Morgan’s presence for free so I’m really the wrong person to comment on this.
