90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After: Pedro Vs. The Family Chantel

Another Sunday night, another 2-hour installment of everyone’s favorite cautionary tale: 90 Day Fiancé Happily Ever After. Tonight’s show takes us on a journey from Nicole’s roach-infested hovel to David’s firehouse apartment (where I’m convinced he’s currently seeking squatter’s rights to avoid paying rent).

Nicole’s parents try to bang some sense into their daughter’s very dense head, but she refuses to budge about her plans to marry Azan in Morocco. Somewhere in Casablanca, windows are being boarded up and locks are being changed as this conversation occurs…

Meanwhile, David faces off with his daughter, Ashley, who has LOTSA questions for Annie and him. Like, do they plan to work – ever? Or will they just pawn borrowed jewelry until the gold runs out? Perhaps those “Thai massages by the pool” that Chris was so curious about will come to fruition? Endless possibilities.

Paola and Russ continue their tour of Colombia, this week forcing Russ to actually share breathing space with that idiotic toolbag, Juan. During their face off at dinner, Paola once again shows how disloyal she is to Russ by not punching Juan square in the face herself. Because his behavior is atrocious.

Anfisa and Jorge go to counseling (apologies to the therapist in advance/retroactively), after which Jorge just shrugs his shoulders and claims that he doesn’t need to change at all. He’s perfect, ya’ll! Anfisa is rightfully disgusted with Jorge, as are we all.

Chantel tries to prove she’s not being “harvested” by Pedro. Or body snatched. Or whatever it is that the Family Chantel is accusing Pedro of. But her family – and by family, I mean River – pushes things to the boiling point when they won’t let up on their suspicions. Yo – this isolated cabin idea was excellent thinking, Mother and Father Chantel! Two snaps in a circle to you.

Lastly, Molly has FINALLY had it with the smirking, smarmy, sulky manchild of a husband she picked up at an all-inclusive bar in the Dominican Republic. Yup. It’s time for Luis’s karma to come calling. And I think I speak for all of us when I say: It’s about damn time.

Robyn Dixon Calls Karen Huger A Liar

Is it a coincidence that Robyn Dixon and Monique Samuels planned events for the same night so soon after their scuffle at Karen Huger’s scent event? Maybe. Most likely not, but maybe. So of course, Robyn and Monique are taking their costars RSVP’s very personally. It’s not just choosing an event. It is choosing Monique over Robyn and vice versa.

Even though Monique joined Real Housewives of Potomac as a friend of Charrisse Jackson-Jordan’s, Robyn has been friend with Charrisse for 14 years. Needless to say, it did not sit well with Robyn when Charrisse said she was going to Monique’s event over Robyn’s.

Robyn reflected on the dueling events in a Bravo blog post. Robyn joked, “Isn’t it funny how things happen? Just the week before Monique and I are having a showdown on a sidewalk in DC and the next week we are testing everyone’s friendship and loyalty with conflicting events. It’s so coincidental, I wouldn’t have been able to script that myself.”

Robyn wrote, “I understand Charrisse had already agreed to escort Monique to that event before I invited her to attend my event, however, there are certain things that good friends make exceptions for and should change plans for and a first meaningful event conceived, planned and organized by a good friend should be one of them.” If only Robyn and Monique actually communicated with each other. They could have avoided this whole situation.

Robyn admitted, “Charrisse’s decision to stick with Monique’s event surely hurt and stung and made me question the strength of our friendship. Sure, Charrisse and Monique became fast friends and spend a lot of time together but there should be some type of value placed on a long-standing 14-year friendship and clearly, Charrisse does not value our friendship the same way that I do.” Does missing one event really say that much?

Karen initially said she would go to Robyn’s event, but backtracked and blamed her RSVP on a Siri miscommunication. Robyn wasn’t buying that excuse. She wrote, “Karen is a liar, plain and simple.  We all heard her say it herself at Gizelle Bryant’s party, she told me ‘yes’ she would attend my event. I don’t understand her need to lie about something that simple. All she had to say was that she changed her mind and would rather escort Monique to her event. I would have been able to respect that. But what I can’t respect is a liar. I have a very hard time being phony and giving Karen a hug at that moment would have been extremely phony.”

Tonight is an all new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. “Having one extra ticket to her gala, Monique decides to invite an unlikely guest to sit at her table. Baby talk puts another roadblock in Ashley and Michael’s relationship, while the pressure of finding a wedding venue creates tension between Candiace and Chris. Upset that Karen chose to not come to Robyn’s event, Gizelle and Robyn decide to confront her, but are caught off guard by her shocking response.”

Ashley Darby Discusses The Possibility Of Children With Husband Michael Darby

The main storyline during the last episode of Real Housewives of Potomac was the Robyn Dixon and Monique Samuels planning events for the same day. Of course, that split up the group and was the main topic of conversation.

Nevertheless, more significant things were discussed during that same episode. Ashley Darby and her husband Michael Darby discussed their prenup and the possibility of having children together.

Ashley discussed Robyn’s accusation that Charrisse Jackson-Jordan “chose Monique over Robyn” in a Bravo blog post. Ashley admitted, “Sha was in a very difficult position. She always aims to love and support her friends, so when it came to these two strong relationships I see how she felt torn. Ultimately, she did choose Monique over Robyn.”

Ashley shared, “In my opinion, Monique had been spending a lot of time with Charrisse since they live in the same area, so it may have felt more familiar to attend the gala. That was a tough call and Charrisse chose the event that she felt most compelled to attend.”

Ashley explained her own decision to attend Robyn’s event: “Hearing the way Robyn described her passion for this powerful panel actually inspired me, so it was no question to me that I wanted to experience it in person. The gala was an event I’d previously been invited to but decided not to attend because I am not familiar with the organization. It’s understandable for Monique to attend if she has a personal attachment and I commend her for going.”

Ashley continued, “Ultimately there are many worthwhile happenings that go on year-round here in DC, and in this instance, Robyn’s most appealed to me. My friendship with Monique will not be mended by sequins and champagne – it’ll take actual time and effort to potentially come back stronger.”

Ashley also discussed her husband’s revelation that he is ready to have kids with her. She admitted, “Let me tell you – my mind literally drew a blank when Michael uttered those words. I mean, if bowling has this much influence do we need to install a bowling alley in the condo? We’d start a league of little Darbys! I felt a shimmer of hope about how much our marriage can actually blossom. While I wasn’t asking to get the babies popping right then, I needed to hear the possibility. As of now, we are in gardening season and Michael is constantly planting seeds. Hopefully, a little joey will be in my pouch soon ;).”

Maybe Ashley will show up to the Season 3 reunion taping with a baby bump.
