Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Is Rich, But Chooses Not To Flaunt It

On last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, newcomer Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave tried to get her co-stars to relax and let their guards down a bit by having a low-key get together at her beach house. She says the ladies were to bring a dish to pass, but instead of food, they brought plates piled with drama.

Teddi shared in her newest blog, “I love that Dorit and I could joke about being late and stemless glasses. But soon, we were in a situation with Kyle, Dorit, and Lisa Vanderpump, which I found out had to do with Kyle “defending” me. I was so wrapped up in unpacking groceries and saving those brown Whole Foods bags (those bitches cost me ten cents!) that I missed a lot of the conversation. I really appreciated Kyle trying to help me out on the boat, so I was baffled at why Dorit was so upset that Kyle “butted in” on our conversation when Lisa Vanderpump did the same thing first.”

She continued, “I knew I’d get mocked for the idea of a potluck (everybody knows the jello with the pretzels on the bottom is the way to go, Erika), but I wanted to keep it real and see if any of these women would partake and just be easygoing about it. Little did I know that their idea of a potluck was for each to bring a plate of drama.”

Teddi isn’t pretending that she’s poor, but she wants us to see the REAL her. She shares in her blog, “I know what you’re thinking: ‘I didn’t realize Teddi was so down-to-earth. Man, if only she would have told us in previous episodes how laid back she is.’ I just want to be clear: I’m not saying I don’t have money—I’m just saying I’m frugal. And I don’t flaunt things because I don’t care. This is The REAL Housewives of Beverly Hills, so I’m just being me. Five bedroom beach house/cottage/whatever and all.”

Tonight is an all new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “Teddi’s beach house weekend ends abruptly—and disastrously—when Dorit reveals to Erika what was said about her after her unexpected departure. The ladies descend upon New York for Fashion Week. Lisa Rinna helps her daughter, Delilah, get settled in New York City. Private information about Lisa Vanderpump is revealed publicly—and some of the ladies worry how she’ll react once she finds out.”

Cynthia Bailey And Kandi Burruss Sum Up This Week’s Real Housewives of Atlanta

Cynthia Bailey reflects on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She breaks down her thoughts on Porsha’s vegan dinner, her lunch with Peter Thomas and reveals if she was shocked over Kim Zolciak ditching the girls trip. Kandi Burruss also weighs in on Mama Joyce‘s meeting with Porsha Williams.

Cynthia feels bad that what was supposed to be a party all about celebrating Kandi, became dominated by the drama over Will. “I was very surprised when Porsha approached me about Will. She had expressed to me before that her friend knows Will and that he is a nice guy. From being approached by Eva about Will, being on my first date publicly with Will, Will meeting all the girls, me not expecting Peter to be at the party, and Peter and I not speaking at the party, it was a lot of me when the evening was supposed to be about Kandi! After Porsha’s bomb, I was done. I just fell apart.”

On that vegan dinner party at Porsha‘s, she shared “My arrival was a little awkward at first, because clearly I was the appetizer of choice being served up on a silver platter, and I’m not even vegan. LOL!”

Cynthia doesn’t see eye-to-eye with Peter, who thinks they shouldn’t speak to each other if they’re out with other people. “Peter and I are still friends, and he gave me some great relationship advice. However, I do disagree about us not speaking if we’re out with someone else. I refuse to not speak to my ex-husband of almost 10 years if we’re in the same room. I don’t care who we’re out with, that’s crazy!”

Cynthia is among the cast members who weren’t shocked at all that Kim Zolciak didn’t attend the girls trip, as per her usual. “I was surprised that Kenya didn’t come on the trip, because she never misses a girls’ trip. I know that she’s been dealing with a lot with the recent passing of her mother/grandmother, trying to get pregnant, and adjusting to being a newlywed. I really missed her not being there. But no, I wasn’t surprised that Kim didn’t come.”

In other RHOA opinions, Kandi Burruss shared her thoughts on Mama Joyce meeting up with Kandi’s nemesis Porsha. “I didn’t like that she went to meet with Porsha behind my back, but more than that, I was disappointed that my mom said negative things about Todd while she was there.”

Kandi also revealed that she doesn’t find it unusual if Cynthia still has feelings for her ex-husband. And on the subject of Kenya and Kim skipping the trip, Kandi is asked if she was surprised. Her simple answer, “No.”

Stassi Schroeder Thinks Jax Taylor Cheated On Brittany Cartwright More Than Once; Wishes She Didn’t Storm Out Of Her Own Birthday

As much as I loved Stassi Schroeder’s commitment to the murder theme of her birthday party, it was tough not to develop second hand embarrassment watching her storm out of her own event, yelling at her best friends, and leaving them all with the bill.

Thankfully for Stassi, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live on the same night that episode aired, to clear some things up. She didn’t really have an excuse for her behavior, but at least she owned up to it.

Before discussing the latest Vanderpump Rules episode, Andy Cohen couldn’t help asking Stassi about Bravolebrity hookup rumor. Andy said, “When Kristen [Doute] was here, she said Scheana [Marie] and Carl [Radke] from Summer House hooked up. Is that true?” Stassi answered, “I know what she knows and what all the rest of us know.”

Andy pushed, “What is that?” Stassi shared, “We’ve all had some sort of confirmation of that. I was not there to witness it, but I have heard all the same things.” Can we get Carl in the clubhouse for some clarification. He doesn’t even have to be an actual guest on the show. He can be a bartender. He can “ring the doorbell” and pop in just to admit (or deny) the Scheana hookup. He can even just sit in the audience with a microphone. Oh wait, he WILL be there soon – next Monday with Lala Kent as his co-guest.

Jumping back into the Vanderpump Rules drama, Stassi explained her latest birthday meltdown by saying, “It was like a confluence of a billion of a million different things with a lot of alcohol and I am embarrassed.” Then Andy played a clip of Kristen saying, “With every boyfriend, Stassi has ever dated, she’s the conductor. With Patrick, she is the second fiddle.” Andy asked Stassi, “Agree?” Stassi was visibly flustered, but she admitted, “Yeah.”

Andy referenced that infamous “pasta” argument between James Kennedy and Lala Kent. He asked Stassi, “Was it about the pasta or was it about something else?” Stassi claimed, “Listen. I was there with the pasta and I wanted to eat the pasta and I’m thankful I didn’t. I would have felt the wrath.” He still wanted to know, “And it was pasta?” Stassi confirmed, “It was pasta. It really was pasta. It was the angel hair checca from SUR.”

Later in the episode, Stassi shared, “I am in a relationship right now.” Andy asked her how long that’s been going on and she just admitted, “I feel bashful right now.” He wondered, “Is it for over two months?” She started to say, “I’ve known him for…” And then she shared, “Kristen and Katie [Maloney] introduced us.”

Stassi had a lot to address during her clubhouse appearance. Andy said, “Why are you always stepping in it on your podcast and on social media? I feel like you can’t open your mouth without offending the universe.” She swallowed her pride and said, “Because I’m an idiot. Seriously. I am.”

Andy wondered, “Do you think maybe you should think before you speak or think?” Surprisingly enough, Stassi said, “I’m not taking that in a negative way at all. I’m learning that. I’m learning that the hard way. It’s something that I need to learn anyway.” Still, Andy wasn’t that tough on her. He did (sort of) compliment her when he said, “I like how outspoken you are, so don’t cut your tongue out.”

A caller asked Stassi, “Do you think that Jax [Taylor] cheated on Brittany [Cartwright] more than once?” She admitted, “Yes. I believe it was more than once.” Andy seemed pretty shocked by her answer and added a question of his own: “With Faith [Stowers], you believe it was more than once?” Jax’s Season 1 girlfriend explained, “I just feel like a leopard doesn’t change its spots.”

When Stassi was asked if she had any regrets from this season, she had nothing to say- at first. Then Andy prompted her with, “What about running out of your party like a lunatic?” She said, “Shoot. I forgot about that.” He reminded her, “It just happened an hour ago on Bravo.” Then she admitted, “Yep, I would take that back. Sorry Katie and Kristen. I apologize.” Andy told her, “It was fun to watch though.” Stassi responded with, “Great.”

Andy finished the interview by asking, “That was tequila you were drinking?” Stassi confessed, “It was a lot of things.”

Jill Zarin Says That A Medium Helped Bobby Zarin Pass Away Peacefully

Usually psychics and mediums are nothing but bad news for the Housewives, but Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin actually found a lot of peace thanks to a medium who helped her work through and cope with her husband Bobby Zarin’s death.

Jill brought a medium into the hospital during her husband’s final days and she recently explained how that experience helped her.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Jill shared,  “When Bobby was in the hospital the last week of his life, I had a medium there and I had her do reiki on Bobby and energy work. When people die it’s often said the color blue, the color of energy, is seen around the person. She took pictures, when we looked at them on the phone, there’s blue all over him and all over me. Energy, all over him, all over me.”

The story took an interesting turn after Bobby passed away. Jill revealed, “When I was in a hotel in Morocco, one of my friends took a picture of me and a friend. There’s no blue light in the room and no flash and there was a gigantic bright blue light on my shirt.”

Jill shared, “And I sent the picture to my medium and she said that means Bobby was there because his energy is on you. It’s energy.” Jill concluded, “[The medium] really helped Bobby pass peacefully and also help the family cope with deal with all the feelings they were experiencing about loss, like a therapist. She really knows things about death.”  That sounds a lot more beneficial than the last time the New York Housewives interacted with a psychic in Morocco.

Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant Premiering In March – See The Trailer

This week MTV announced that a new Teen Mom reality series is heading our way next month and we can’t wait! Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant is set to debut on Monday, March 12. The show will feature not just moms-to-be who are 16 and pregnant, but this will highlight a group who range in age from 17 to 20. The show will introduce us to five new Teen Moms: Lexi & Briana (17), Kayla (18), and Jade & Ashley (20).

I know Teen Mom takes a lot of heat for “glorifying” teen pregnancy, but the opposite is true. The show is great birth control for many by showing the horrifying reality, pressure, and struggle of having babies at a young age. The stats to prove it are below in MTV’s press release.

NEW YORK, NY (February 12, 2018) – Since its inception, “Teen Mom” has consistently been a top performer for MTV while making an indelible mark on culture.  The franchise is credited with helping to lower the teen birth rate by one-third in the 18 months post launch and, most recent data from the CDC cites a 46% teen birth rate decline since the series premiered.

Beginning Monday, March 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, the network will continue the show’s legacy with “Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant.” The 14-episode docu-series will introduce the diverse stories and backgrounds of five new young women as they navigate the complexities of being a Gen Z mother. This announcement comes on the heels of MTV’s second consecutive quarter of YoY growth – its best streak in six years.

The series will begin premiering internationally in April across Viacom’s international network of MTV channels in nearly 180 countries.

To also support the influence of TV on teen pregnancy, a study conducted by Power to Decide,  the campaign to prevent unplanned pregnancy, found that 53% of teen girls age 13-16 say their parents have talked with them about a real-life situation relating to relationships, love or sex because of something that happened on a TV show that they watch together.  Additionally, 36% say they had that conversation because of something that happened on a TV show that they watched separately.

ABOUT THE MOMS

Ashley (20)       
Ashley was the typical party girl in Las Vegas, but her life was turned upside down when she and her boyfriend, Bariki (Bar), found out they were having a baby. Ashley and Bar’s mom are constantly at odds which not only causes issues within their relationship, but palpable friction between Bar and Ashley’s mom.

Brianna (17)  
Brianna and her transgender boyfriend Danae have always had a tumultuous relationship and during one breakup, Brianna hooked up with an old friend and got pregnant.  Now Danae is back in the picture and has promised to raise the baby as his own, but Brianna’s mom questions Danae’s ability to support her daughter with their on- and off-again relationship.

Jade (20)          
From an unstable relationship with her parents to her boyfriend Sean, Jade has always taken care of others. Now that she’s expecting her first child, she knows that she’ll need her parents support more than ever and is concerned that she won’t be able to rely on them.

Kayla (18)        
Kayla, the girl-next-door, had a rude awakening when she found out she was expecting.  Raised by a single mother, Kayla understood the sacrifices and struggles a single parent would face. While the pregnancy wasn’t planned, she was excited to have a baby with Stephan, her boyfriend of three years. But Kayla is grappling with the decision to stay in the relationship for the sake of her baby or raise the little one on her own.

Lexi (17)              
Lexi is a small town girl who seemingly had it all going for her – head cheerleader, a supportive and loving family – and then she got pregnant by her boyfriend of four years, Kyler.  Isolated by her closest friends, the former “it” girl now feels alone and like she is the subject of her small, conservative town’s gossip.  Will she be able to recover her reputation, or will she forever be known as the good girl gone bad?

Porsha Williams Shares What Wasn’t Shown During The Last Real Housewives Of Atlanta Episode

It looks like things really start heating up on Real Housewives of Atlanta during the next episode when Kim Zolciak goes off on NeNe Leakes about roaches and handicap parking. Other than Kim’s explosive guest appearances, this has been a slow-moving season so far.

Porsha Williams revealed that there was a lot more that went down during her vegan dinner than was shown in this week’s episode.

In an interview with E! News, Porsha joked, “When I tell you it was a no beef dinner, but it was beef all around that table.” She continued, “The audience didn’t even get to see a majority of it because, as you can tell, we were on fire that night. The dinner was long. They had to edit it down to what you saw, and it still was on fire. It was fun. And you know what I liked about it? It was kind of back to how it used to be on Housewives to where we way disagree and it may get a little heated and we may read or whatever, but then five minutes later, when we walked inside, we were better again. It was just a good time. I liked it.” It wasn’t iconic by any means. There weren’t any GIFs or memes created in response to that dinner conversation, but there’s nothing wrong with some lighthearted television.

Porsha discussed some of the drama that didn’t make the episode. She shared, “Cynthia [Bailey] and I definitely went more into how she felt about everybody discussing Will [Jones] and, you know, that I added to what the other girls were saying and basically saying the same things that everybody was saying.” Porsha also did this at the beginning of the episode, so unless she added some very specific information, it’s just the same old story: Will might be using Cynthia for fame. No one has any concrete proof. Cynthia is still into him and nothing has changed.

During the episode, Kim said that she wouldn’t go to Spain without her husband Kroy Biermann, which did not sit well with the cast. Porsha shared,  “Kim, with the whole table, when she said she was bringing Kroy, set the table on fire because everybody was ‘Oh no, don’t bring him!’ So that lasted way longer than what people saw. I was voicing my opinion about it. As long as he was able to be separated and we were able to do our girl things at night. I’m not going to go in her room anyway, so what does it matter?”

Porsha felt like the dinner got out of hand because the women weren’t used to turning up after eating a vegan meal. She admitted, “We were all lit. Think about it, they didn’t have what they normally have in their bellies. They didn’t have meat, they didn’t have the breads they would normally have. They had strictly a whole plant-based meal, so they weren’t really used to that. So whatever I was giving them—which was shots—had them lit.”

Vanderpump Rules Recap: The Dead Queens Of Dignity

I almost have no words for the dysfunction of last night’s Vanderpump Rules. Maybe Stassi Schroeder is aging in reverse. Not in that ‘she looks fabulous way’ of Lisa Vanderpump, but of the OMG – is she really throwing a toddler temper tantrum at her own birthday party. I think I read a Berenstain Bears book about that called “Too Much Birthday.”

Could Stassi and Ariana Madix buy a 2-for-1 therapy session on Groupon? Or maybe Jax Taylor‘s reiki healer can mend the hole in Stassi’s forehead by using her calming touch to transforms it into a halo of happiness. Is that medically possible? Jax and Stassi can skip off into the sunset together happy, at peace, alive! Kristen Doute would lose her soulmate.

So, Stassi and Ariana share a birthday. It seems like this weird astrological coincidence should be the only thing they have in common, but it turns out that they also share a love of sulky petulance. Of course two queen bees can’t also share birthday parties. So, Ariana threw party celebrating her queenly presence here on her earth, and Stassi had a party rejoicing over all the souls she’s killed with her tyranny. Oh, and Patrick. Stassi’s “dead woman walking” party was actually because Stassi is turning 29 and celebrating the death of her 20’s. I’ll give her points for being inventive!

Except Stassi thought she was playing queen of the dead, but really she’s queen of the damned.

What Stassi really wants – demands – for her birthday is for everyone to bow down and kiss her decaying toes while reassuring her that yes, she is still the queen of their hearts – even if half her guts have been eroded by alcohol and are now hanging out of her princess-y tunic tops. Meanwhile Ariana is fine with knowing that she is the unequivocal queen – certainly of Tom 1‘s heart at least.

Does anyone else just not really get what is going on between Ariana and Tom? Whatever it was, it took approximately one costume party and a couple shots to sort through. Oh, and one effective therapist – unlike the ones Jax seems to find! Ariana is so not into sex and the word “vagina” gives her the vapors like this is 1900. She blames her own body insecurities and previously being in an emotionally abusive relationship with a partner who also exploited her dependence on him. She thought she was hooking up with this guy but he wanted more, and offered to help support her, but it became incredibly toxic. She escaped into Tom’s arms, but after an initial hot period she is once again disgusted by her body and by sex. Yet she is not turned off by Tom. She is still supremely attracted to his effervescent beauty routine!

This is all very confusing, because the very next scene featured Ariana wearing a plunging thong swimsuit and seeming not self-critical or insecure in the least! BUT (literally) at least she is seeking help! Ariana sees a therapist and is raw and honest. She also praises Tom for being so supportive.

Taking a break from all this emotional baggage. Well, kinda. It’s once again time for World Dog Day, the defining event of James Kennedy‘s career. Who can forget the lost Mickey Mouse key which he miraculously reunited with its owner using the power of his microphone?!

Lisa and Ken have everyone over for a planning session and since he has nothing better to do, Tom 2 is there. Maybe he’s on pooper scooper duty? Lisa wants to make sure everyone is involved… everyone except Jax! Lisa pulls Brittany Cartwright aside to lecture her on Jax’s reprehensible selfishness in being late to last week’s Beverly Hills Lifestyle party. It seems ridiculous that Lisa would be telling Brittany all of this? Why? Can’t she send Jax a text like ‘Yo Dude, so sick of your disrespectful, trifling ways so you’re banned from World Dog Day!” Essentially Jax is banned until he grovels for forgiveness. Well, now Jax finally has time to schedule those haircuts. Or get more reiki treatments…

Does anyone actually believe Jax is sad to be missing a dog party? Maybe – after all he’s a dirty dog and there will be plenty of bitches. (I’ll be here all weeks folks!).

While Ariana is trying to fix her self-esteem, Stassi is dead inside and doesn’t care. She has descended down a deep dark hole in which Patrick’s douchey opinion of her is everything. I’m just gonna go ahead and say it: Stassi depressed me last night. Not even in a snarky way, but legitimate I feel sorry for her. There she was going on and on about her ‘Day of the dead’ party, but it was really a party for Patrick’s approval. Most recently in their dead/alive relationship Patrick blocked Stassi the entire time he was in Amsterdam. Supposedly traveling alone.

Stassi explains that Patrick rejected her sexting overtures which resulted in a fight and she threatened to go sleep with someone else, so he blocked her. Maybe he was too cheap to pay for the international phone plan? Because once he was back on domestic soil they are tentatively back on.

Ariana’s birthday begins with Tom cooking a delicious breakfast (seriously – I’d sleep with Tom for that spread! #Call me). Their serious relationship talk turns gorier than a Bloody Mary when Ariana tries to describe why she’s no longer interested in sex and Tom counters that he’s not buying that she’s lost the ability to have orgasms. What it all really comes down to is that Ariana feels disconnected from Tom because he’s too busy doing other things. Like lurking around strip clubs and abandoned buildings with Tom 2, or dressing triplets. Ariana’s love language is time spent. Tom 1’s is ummm… Tom 2?

Tom 1 also shows his love with costumes! Very elaborate costumes. If turning into a different person is what it takes for Tom 1 to love his lady, maybe his buddies should take heed?

Tom and Ariana’s talk was certainly more productive than Stassi’s drunken warbling to Patrick. Likewise Ariana’s party is much more alive. Stassi’s party is pretty much dead on arrival. She was so worried about Patrick, she couldn’t have fun. Even with her sexy corpse makeup and sparkly party dress. Stassi’s look was just died 5 minutes ago. Or like she was taxidermied.)

Patrick and Stassi do not come to the party together. She actually worries he might not show up. But he finally arrives wearing what looks like a one of Kyle Richard‘s kaftans – some long slouchy burka-looking t-shirt with tails. And no thematic makeup. It was still better than Katie’s grandma at the funeral dress!

While Stassi skitters around making sure everyone is properly idolizing Patrick, Katie makes friends with a stripper. More precisely Stassi ‘randomly’ ran into the stripper they had for Katie’s bachelorette party and invited her to the party. Katie didn’t get the memo that Arielle was there as a guest, not hired entertainment and tried reviving Stassi’s dying event with butt shots and splits on the bar. And Stassi spazzed.

Strippers are not Stassi’s thing! Having fun in front of Patrick is not Stassi’s thing! Being alive in the world behaving like a functioning adult is not Stassi’s thing! Stassi literally runs out of the party whining and shrieking that Katie and Kristen are ruining her party and they chase after her. On a street corner Stassi berates them for their trashy behavior. Oh, and for talking to Patrick apparently. Stassi literally screams, “It’s my birthday!” Which is a scene we’ve seen before. Many times. When Katie and Kristen can’t properly assuage her ego, Stassi takes of running down the street alone. Stiffing her friends with an almost $2k bar tab! Which Katie paid. Girl… this is why she’s still your friend, because you continuously let her use and abuse you!

Stassi can’t have fun when Patrick isn’t there, and she can’t have fun when he is there. She’s seized by crippling anxiety that someone will do something embarrassing in his presence; only cured, apparently, by mixing tons of booze with Aderall. Stassi blames her princess tantrum on getting “really f–ked up” mixing the two. You know, I just don’t find it endearing or funny to brag about abusing prescription drugs. It’s just gross.

Patrick also spent the entire evening subtly mocking Stassi and their so-called relationship. He enjoys keeping her pinned under his man bun or something. I do not see the appeal of him (or her), but his calculatingly rude comments and the way she constantly defends him and obsesses over him makes me feel genuinely sad for her. I hope she gets some therapy – and not just unregulated therapeutic drugs. (Hint: Adderall is supposed to make you more in control of your behaviors — if you need it…).

Meanwhile at Ariana’s party everyone came dressed to the nines and in great spirits. Seriously everybody looked great, and had fun. Ariana and Tom had a tipsy heart-to-heart about how crowns are the ultimate aphrodisiac and how they both need and love each other. It was very sweet. They go home to have royal sexy times. Let’s hope Ariana didn’t run screaming at the sight of her own vagina, following Stassi into the night.

Well, Billie Lee prayed for Ariana to get laid, and it appears her wish was granted! She must have the magic healing touch – so badly needed around these parts!

The next day at World Dog Day, Ariana and Tom are reconnected and cuddly, but Stassi is nowhere to be seen. She, like Jax, is absent – and no one really minds! Is it a requirement to own a dog if you are on this show? Does James have one or is that too much responsibility to take-on with his constantly in-demand luminous DJ career?

After Brittany’s dog wins the puppy pageant, Lisa sits her down to find out if Jax is planning to apologize. He’s not. Brittany is withholding sandwiches until he does, though! Yep, she’s really putting her foot down and keeping him on a tight leash now.

Jill Zarin Is Contemplating Moving To Florida While She Processes Bobby Zarin’s Passing

Even though Jill Zarin is reportedly doing what she can to return as a cast member on Real Housewives of New York, she actually wants to spend time in another state following the death of her husband Bobby Zarin.

Jill has opened up about her desire to relocate to Boca Raton, Florida where she has a house or to her apartment in Miami.

In an interview with People, Jill shared, “I am thinking about it,” when asked about the possibility of relocating to the Sunshine State.

Jill continued, “I need some time alone without the pressure of a fast pace right now. I need to slow down and follow my heart. That’s what Bobby would want for me. The former Real Housewife added, “Playing tennis and golf, being with my parents and very close friends is what brings me the most happiness right now. One day at a time.”

Jill admitted that she is “trying to keep busy to keep her mind off losing Bobby.” She confessed, “It’s hard for me to be alone right now and I need to be with close friends and family.”
