Welcome to The Valley Season 3 Episode 1 recap. These chaotic friends and frenemies are back in action. At the Season 2 reunion, reality vet Jax Taylor continued to play the victim ahead of his exit. Meanwhile, Jasmine told Danny that she didn’t feel that his apology was authentic. Here’s what happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 1: “You Can’t Sip With Us.”
What happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 1?

Kristen and Luke struggled with intimacy issues following the birth of their daughter, Kaia. Meanwhile, Tom was flirty with Michelle. And Michelle was shocked when Jesse brought his girlfriend, socialite Lacy Nicole, to an event.
Brittany is sparkling in The Valley

Brittany proclaimed that “things are so much better” than when we saw her last season. “I am paying for everything. I’m there for my son every single day,” Brittany said. However, there is one fly in the ointment. Jax has failed to submit all the paperwork to finalize their divorce. Of course.
Meanwhile, Brittany FaceTimed her friend, Brandon. She met him in Kentucky when she was 22 years old. It turned into a romantic connection, but it wasn’t the right time. Now Brittany has her “sparkle back” and has reunited with Brandon. He lives three hours away in California, and Brittany said they are “actually best friends.” She added that he “just makes me feel really good.”
And Zack is still living in his apartment in West Hollywood. His roommate is moving out, and his boyfriend, Benji, is moving in. In addition, Zack injected his GLP1 on-camera. There is zero shame in his game.
As for Jasmine and Melissa? They are living in Sherman Oaks in a new apartment. The couple is in wedding planning mode. And, of course, Jesse wants to officiate the wedding.
Plus, Michelle has a new house in West Hollywood. She is single once again after Aaron Nosler dumped her. “Have you ever been broken up with before?” a producer asked her. “Actually, it’s the first time anyone has ever broken up with me,” Michelle responded.
Meanwhile, Michelle and her ex, Jesse, “switch weekends” with their daughter, Isabella. Their divorce still isn’t finalized, and Michelle is frustrated. “He just always has an excuse of why he can’t sign the paperwork,” she explained in her confessional.
Parenting struggles in The Valley

Danny and Nia are living in Santa Clarita. Plus, they welcomed a daughter named Adelaide, who is now three months old. While Nia misses “being closer to everything,” Danny loves his Santa Clarita lifestyle.
Meanwhile, Kristen and Luke are settling in as first-time parents to baby Kaia, who is also three months old. “Kaia is our whole world,” Kristen admitted in her confessional. “We don’t have time for ourselves, and we definitely don’t have time for each other.” However, Luke misses “having sex” with the love of his life. So, Kristen and Nia decided to throw a Sip n’ See for their daughters, who were born days apart.
Meanwhile, Lala and Janet shopped for a gift for Kristen’s daughter. Lala admitted in her confessional that Kristen “fights hard. She loves hard. She’s very much my type of chick.” As for Janet, she wasn’t invited to the Sip n’ See.
“Nia blocked me on everything,” Janet told Lala. “I also feel like Nia would rather paint me as a liar when she knows I’m not than to recognize the truth about what’s happening with her husband.” According to Janet, she has been in therapy, working on bettering herself after last summer’s drama.
However, the feud between Kristen and Janet rolled on. Brittany had a pool party for all the kids, and it went south between Janet and Kristen. In her confessional, Kristen said that Brittany was pretty sure that Janet wasn’t attending. Then Janet told Lala how Kristen went off on Brittany when Janet arrived. “Why is she here?” Kristen reportedly screamed at Brittany. “She doesn’t deserve to be here!” So, Janet left. She texted Brittany and confronted her for not defending her. “Why did you tell me to come over if she was going to do that? In front of Cameron?” Janet texted.
Luke and Kristen have intimacy issues

Nina and Kristen met up for lunch. Leaving the house is stressful for Kristen since she became a mom. As far as intimacy with Luke, Kristen admitted to Nia, “I also hate my body right now. I just need time.”
Meanwhile, Jesse hung out with Luke. It turns out that Luke went out the night before, and Kristen wasn’t happy. However, Jesse’s relationship with Lacy, who lives in Orange County, is going well. “She’s incredibly intelligent, incredibly passionate. Our kids are really close,” Jesse explained in his confessional. “And it’s been incredible.”
However, Michelle doesn’t want to be in contact with Lacy. Last summer, Jesse asked his ex to call Lacy and “put your cards on the table.” However, Michelle refused to make that call. According to Jesse, when Lacy reached out to Michelle asking about boundaries, Michelle “didn’t take it the right way.”
Jesse added, in his talking head, “Michelle has made no effort, and she wants nothing to do with this woman that spends half the week with her daughter.” Meanwhile, Luke is upset that his “relationship is completely lacking intimacy.” Jesse recommended that he talk to Kristen about his feelings.
Janet confronted Brittany about Kristen

Michelle, Janet, Brittany, and Lala met for lunch. Of course, Janet asked if Brandon was Brittany’s official boyfriend, which gave Brittany the giggles. “No, he’s not,” Brittany said. “I won’t say yes yet.” Brittany added that since she is “used to chaos and trauma,” she is afraid that she will get “bored.”
The topic of the Sip n’ See came up, and Janet mentioned Kristen’s behavior at Brittany’s pool party. “And how Kristen behaved at your house was … gross,” Janet said. “What made you not say something?” Lala asked Brittany.
“Because I was shook,” Brittany remarked. In her confessional, Brittany sang Janet’s praises, calling her a “great friend.” However, Brittany is hesitant to dive into the middle of a conflict.
“I left in tears,” Janet said, noting that her son, Cameron, was upset that they left the pool. “I cried all night, too,” Brittany replied. However, Janet wasn’t done holding Brittany’s feet to the fire. “You could have said, ‘Kristen, this isn’t the right time or place. Not at my house,’” Janet said. She added that she hadn’t “felt like that since seventh grade,” when “she felt bullied.” Yikes!
Sip and stir up drama in The Valley
Tom was busy flirting with Michelle at the bar, calling her “gorgeous.” While Brittany thinks they could have fun as a couple, Kristen was horrified. “Michelle is a fine French wine. Tom’s a Jagerbomb at a sports bar,” Kristen noted in her confessional.
Meanwhile, Tom told Michelle, “I still believe in love,” and she agreed with his sentiment. This duo does have a spark. He added that he doesn’t think “he has a type” and goes off “chemistry.” Michelle stated they “will do something … anything spiritual.” However, when Jesse arrived hand-in-hand with Lacy, all hell broke loose.
“What the f*ck is she doing here?” Michelle remarked. “Nobody told me she was coming, because she was like, ‘I would never in my life film,’” Michelle told Lala. Plus, Michelle was shady in her confessional, “Oh, are we allowed to say her name this year? Lacy, her and I have had a very difficult relationship. This is the same woman who had her lawyer send me a cease and desist.”
Meanwhile, in a hilarious moment, Lala commented on how her daughter, Sosa, has Luke’s blue eyes. “When you were reading the profile, I was like, ‘That could be me,’” Luke said. And yes, he donated sperm to the same cryo bank that Lala used. Zack and Lala’s jaws dropped. “Now Kristen is Sosa’s step-mom. Oh, f*ck no!” Lala exclaimed in her talking head.
Michelle and Lacy discuss Jesse

Lacy walked up to greet Michelle, and it was AWKWARD. When Michelle mentioned that she didn’t know that Lacy was coming, Jesse’s new gal pal remarked, “At least it’s like a nice ambiance with babies.” Lacy added, “Well, I’m happy to see you. You do seem happy, and like healthy and in a good place.”
However, when Michelle asked Lacy if she was divorced, Lacy seemed surprised. “I don’t know anything about you,” Michelle stated. Then, Michelle slipped in a dig about still waiting for her divorce. “So, ask him to sign. I made it very easy for him,” Michelle stated. “I walk away with nothing.”
When Michelle joined Lala, she said, “I don’t trust her. I’ve seen her be super nice. And I’ve also seen her be super rude to me.”
In her confessional, Michelle said, “So, this girl, who said she would never film, shows up to my Zen party when there’s cameras everywhere.” In a flashback to last summer, Lacy popped up, telling Jesse, “You guys are almost done. I’ll wait five minutes.” Then she added, “I didn’t sign a release.”
In unaired footage, a producer named Jeremiah asked Jesse, “Why did she come here?” When Jesse replied, “Because we wrap at 10:30,” the producer responded, “We’re not wrapped. We’re still filming!” In return, Jesse snapped, “Jeremiah, not f*cking cool.”
Michelle added, “Don’t fall for Lacy’s bullsh*t. In front of your face, she’ll be super nice and sweet. But behind closed doors, she’s a b*tch.” She called both Lacy and Jesse “chaotic,” adding, “The two of them together are just insanity.”
The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
