Chris Pratt says exploring Tokyo with teen son has been ‘really special’
While speaking to “Extra” during a double-decker bus tour in Tokyo, Chris Pratt reflected on the trip alongside co-stars Donald Glover and Charlie Day. He explained that bringing Jack, whom he shares with Anna Faris, made the visit far more personal.
“It’s surreal. It’s special for me because I brought my son,” Pratt said. He added that Jack loves Japanese food, sushi, and the culture, which made exploring Tokyo together even more meaningful. As a result, the trip became more than just a work commitment. It turned into a shared experience.
At the same time, the actor made sure to send love to his family back home. He gave a shoutout to his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, along with their three children, Lyla, Eloise, and Ford. “Daddy loves you. Daddy misses you, and I’ll see you home soon,” he said during the interview.
Earlier this month, Pratt also spoke about his kids during an appearance on “Today”. He revealed that only Jack has watched his films so far. Meanwhile, his younger children have not seen any movies yet, as his wife prefers a more traditional approach to screen time.
Still, Pratt hinted that things may change soon. He shared that he looks forward to the day his younger kids realize what he does. “There’s gonna be a season,” he said, adding that they will eventually see him as “really cool.” Overall, Pratt balanced work and family seamlessly, turning a press trip into a memorable father-son moment.
