The time has finally come for Jen Shah to face the noise. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum was released from her prison sentence a few months ago. For those who forgot, she was sentenced to over six years in the slammer for a telemarketing scheme.
Since her early release in December 2025, she’s been radio silent on social media. In fact, the only time she’s publicly commented since regaining her freedom was through her team’s statement when Emma Stone revealed she showed up in-person to watch her leave prison. But now, Jen is speaking out on her own terms, and she has a lot to say.
The former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star is “deeply remorseful”
For the very first time since being released, Jen has publicly reflected on the venture that put her behind bars.
“I made wrong decisions. I should have done things differently, I should have been more diligent. And I’m deeply remorseful and sorry for my actions and for my part. I take full responsibility,” she told PEOPLE.
Jen doubled down on her involvement, adding that having a clouded judgement led to her downfall.
“It’s a long and a very complex journey that brought me to this point. And without re-litigating it, I became involved in the case because I made horrible business decisions and I disregarded huge red flags.”
Now that she’s owned up to her past, the question remains on her reality TV future. Is there a place for her in Season 7 of RHOSLC? Well, since Andy Cohen he not-so calmly remarked that she’s someone he would “never want to see again”, it’s safe to say that’s a no.
