Zack Bryan takes a jab at Kid Rock’s halftime show. Bad Bunny headlined the Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8. Rock headlined the All-American Halftime Show performance hosted by Turning Point USA as an alternative to Bunny’s Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show.

Zach Bryan calls Kid Rock’s halftime show “embarrassing” in a since-deleted Instagram Stories post. Bryan did not hold back against Rock’s All-American Halftime Show. Bryan wrote his comment over a photo of someone watching Rock’s show on their phone while blocking Benito’s performance with their hand. He wrote, “What kid rock actually thinks is happening across America.”

In a since-deleted follow-up post, the 29-year-old country singer shared a DM from a social media user that accused him of turning “into a Hollywood sell out b***h quick.” The anonymous poster wrote in the DM, “WTF happens to you? Boy you turned into a Hollywood sell out b***h quick. You were my favourite artist. Now you are nothing but another dumba** out of touch elitist. Happens quick homie.”

Bryan shared the screenshot on his Instagram Stories and replied, “I don’t care what side you’re on, a bunch of adults throwing temper tantrums and their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most cringe s*** on the planet.”

Turning Point USA previously announced their decision to boycott the Benito-led Super Bowl halftime and have their own halftime show. They advertised the alternative show as a “family-friendly, values-driven” event. Rock, an ardent Donald Trump supporter, performed alongside country singers Lee Brice, Brantley Gilbert, and Gabby Barrett (via PEOPLE).

A certain section of fans accused Ritchie (real name) of lip-syncing while singing “Bawitdaba” from his Devil Without a Cause album. Rock addressed the criticism two days later on the February 10 broadcast of Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle. The 55-year-old stated, “It was out of sync. It would’ve been super easy to sync it up if it was prerecorded. Plus, it was just a syncing issue that they had, and I know they tried to get it right. It was very difficult.”
