Dancing with the Stars pro Gleb Savchenko has been a staple in the ballroom. However, his participation in Season 34 of DWTS was allegedly up in the air. Thankfully, he was part of the cast. Gleb was paired with Hilaria Baldwin, who is married to actor Alec Baldwin.
Of course, Hilaria’s stint on the show was overshadowed by controversy and rumors. Some fans felt that her past ballroom experience gave her an unfair advantage. Still, the pair struggled to get votes, and Hilaria and Gleb were the fourth duo sent home. Now, it seems that Gleb is pursuing a new passion.
The Bold and the Beautiful saw Gleb Savchenko make a guest appearance
Now, Gleb has danced his way onto the daytime soap, The Bold and the Beautiful. He recently portrayed Alexei, while fellow dancer Marcquet Hill played the role of Davis. And the gig hits pretty close to home. In the episode, the two men danced at a character’s bridal shower.
“Marcquet and I built the choreography on the spot. We were feeding off the energy in the room, and everyone was fully committed,” Gleb told US Weekly. He called the scene “a fun, high-energy disco vibe inspired by Saturday Night Fever.”
He continued, “The reveal of the waiters turning into dancers really sealed the moment, especially because the cast didn’t see it coming. I would absolutely be open to coming back in that capacity.” Gleb added, “I would be thrilled to return to The Bold and the Beautiful and continue acting while further developing a character within the show’s world.”
Meanwhile, Gleb previously shared his desire to work as an actor, even taking acting classes. However, he is also still feuding with his ex-girlfriend, and Season 33 DWTS partner, Brooks Nader, in the press. Their messy split seemed like a soap storyline.
