Authorities may be a step closer to finding Nancy Guthrie’s suspected kidnapper or kidnappers. A series of ransom notes previously went out to news outlets. The mother of TV host Savannah Guthrie went missing officially on February 1, one demanding a Bitcoin payment.

There’s apparently been activity on a Bitcoin account. It could be in connection with the note and the alleged kidnapper, as police seem very interested in it. The belief is that they are a step closer to finding out who may have done this.

There’s genuine hope that police may soon have a specific location for Nancy’s supposed abductor. Multiple sources involved in the investigation told TMZ that the ransom notes provide clues as to where the suspect might be. The first ransom letter was sent to a pair of Tucson TV stations and TMZ. The second note went to just one of those two previous Tucson news outlets.

Law enforcement sources believe that whoever wrote the note knew the two local stations well. That leads them to believe they reside somewhere in Tucson. There had reportedly been a promise to return Nancy within 12 hours of receiving a $6 million ransom demand.

One arrest had previously been made in connection to this matter, but that person has since been released. Savannah and her family have been desperate to track down the 84-year-old. She reportedly requires her heart medication.

FBI Director Kash Patel posted photographs yesterday. One showed an apparent suspect in a ski mask nearby Nancy’s front door. Several investigative experts have shared their thoughts on the matter. Former FBI deputy director Dan Bongino believes this was either an intended ransom kidnapping, a botched burglary or a medical emergency.

TELL US – DO YOU BELIEVE THE RANSOM NOTES WILL LEAD AUTHORITIES TO THE ALLEGED KIDNAPPER?
