Welcome to the recap for Vanderpump Rules Season 12, Episode 11. Last week, Venus opened up to Lisa about the struggles he had growing up gay. Kim and Marcus were going strong (at least that day) and talked marriage and babies. And Audrey decided to put herself first and end things with Chris. However, Chris pushed for a second chance. Was Audrey up for round two? Here’s exactly what went down in Vanderpump Rules Season 12, Episode 11: “Back Alley Betrayals.”
What happened in Vanderpump Rules Season 12, Episode 11?
Although Chris had promised Audrey he wanted to be her boyfriend, he was now having second thoughts. And he had yet to share those with her. Meanwhile, Jason thought he and Natalie were inching closer towards coupledom. That was until he found out Shayne had hit on her. But Natalie burst their bubble when she announced she had no intentions of being with either of them. And finally, Angelica and Audrey were in a good place, until Audrey read her for filth during her stand-up comedy routine.
Natalie and Jason had different agendas
Angelica was back from Texas and was ready to show off her new boobs to the group. But first she had to find out what she had missed while she was gone. Kim called her and gave her the tea that Chris and Audrey had broken up. This left Angelica surprised, but even more surprising was that she wanted to be there for Audrey if she needed her.
Jason continued to think Natalie was the “love of my life” and met up with her for a “date” at Shot of Art. The only problem? Natalie just thought they were besties.
She said in her confessional, “Having friendships with straight men is not always easy. There’s always that moment where the guy develops feelings, and then the friendship becomes complicated. But Jason has been the sweetest guy friend I could have asked for coming out of a breakup.” Welp, that moment was now.
Meanwhile, Venus met up with Audrey at her place for a “tea sesh.” And Audrey spilled the tea that there was a new stand-up comedy queen in town. She was prepping for her show (taking her comedy “very seriously”) and planned to call out Angelica. Audrey joked, “Have you ever met someone with a neuroscience degree but is actually stupid?” Ouch.
She also spilled the tea that after she friend-zoned Chris, she went back to his place that night. Audrey dished it was “PG,” but Venus gave her side-eye. He said in his confessional, “In Texas people are raised with traditional values of finding your significant other and starting a family. And Chris ain’t that.”
Chris was having second thoughts about Audrey
Venus was prepping for SUR’s Gay Pride event with Angelica. She had brought her swimsuits for the group to try on, but really she just wanted to show off her new boobs. Demy said in her confessional, “Angelica’s boobs enter the room before she does. They look insane, like in the best way possible.”
As everyone strutted their stuff in barely there bikinis, Demy killed it with another one-liner. Where is her comedy special? She said in her confessional, “I don’t know how we’re going to work in these. We’re going to be serving people food … not vagina.”
Natalie was going to sing for the event and met up with Chris and Jason so they could learn some dance moves. Chris noted it was his time to shine as a backup dancer. They’ve been doing Magic Mike moves for years, so how hard could it be?
Well, it was pretty hard. They couldn’t bust a move to save their life. But after hours and hours, the two finally got it down. Afterwards, they left and caught up on their dating lives.
Chris told Jason that he was having second thoughts about being Audrey’s boyfriend. In his confessional he shared, “I’m definitely stuck in between opposite ends. One day I’m confident that I want to be with her. And the next day I overthink … and I’m like, ‘Okay, maybe this isn’t the right decision.’”
Jason knew Chris’ MO, and he was always a flip-flopper even if things were going right. He encouraged Chris to tell Audrey the truth because he had Audrey thinking he was ready to be serious. Chris knew what he had to do, but he wanted to have his cake and eat it too. And that was not going to fly with Audrey.
Jason called Shayne “two-faced”
In order to prep for her show, Audrey met up with comedian Sarah Colonna to get some tips. Audrey admitted she had big plans to roast her friends. Sarah advised her to keep things light and fun. Audrey nodded her head in agreement, but she seemed to have other plans in mind.
Across town, Angelica and Natalie met up for sandwiches at Something About Her. Angelica dished she had already moved on to a new dude and was picking him up at the airport later. Natalie was shocked she moved on from Shayne so fast, but when she shared Shayne had hit on her, Angelica short-circuited. She picked up her sandwich toothpick and asked, “Do I need to, like, stab you?”
Angelica wondered how Jason felt about this, and Natalie said they were just friends. Besides, according to Natalie, Shayne had asked Jason for his blessing. Angelica then tried to put Natalie down by sharing that Shayne told her that Natalie didn’t “intellectually stimulate” him. However, Natalie remained unbothered and chomped away on her BLT.
Later on at SUR, Shayne arrived and couldn’t stop staring at Angelica’s chest. But Angelica tilted his head upwards and wanted to clear the air about Natalie. Shayne said it was nothing and then tried to hit on her. Angelica said, “Too bad, so sad,” she was already off the market.
Jason had beef with Shayne next. Audrey decided to get messy and told Jason she heard Shayne asked for his “blessing” to get back with Natalie. In his confessional, Jason noted that Shayne had told him it was okay to hang with Natalie, and this felt very “two-faced.”
So, he met Shayne in the back alley. Shayne sighed, “Oh no, not an ambush.”
Audrey roasted Angelica to a crisp on Vanderpump Rules
Jason confronted Shayne and said that he’s swooped in on every girl he’s dated so far. Before Shayne could explain himself, Audrey and Natalie came outside to join them.
Natalie didn’t understand why anyone would be upset if she went out with Shayne. Audrey said it’s because she and Jason had gone on a date. Natalie was baffled. In her mind, they were just hanging out.
Jason saved face well, though. He told Natalie, “I was like starting to feel you, and then I was just like, ‘I see where your energy’s at; it’s cool. I’m down to be friends.’” Shayne then told Jason to “Go after it, bro.” Which set Natalie off. She scoffed, “What am I, a dog?”
In her confessional, Natalie stated, “At this point I’m not interested in either one. And you know who gets to decide who I’m going to give my intention to? Me.”
It was finally time for Audrey to make her stand-up comedy debut. As promised, she roasted the cast, and quite well, I might add. But Sarah’s prediction that it would all be in good fun did not turn out to be true.
Audrey not only roasted Angelica, but she chewed her up and spit her out. She went hard about the penis pump debacle and Angelica still living with her ex-boyfriend.
While everyone awkwardly laughed, Angelica stormed out. Natalie concluded, “I feel bad, but I think Audrey f*cking killed it and told no lies.”
