During Season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, the stakes were high. The family business was in the red, and the patriarch of the family, Steve McBee Sr., was in legal trouble and facing prison time. And he handed over the reins of the business to his son, Steven McBee, Jr.
On December 1, 2025, Steve reported to prison to begin serving his 24-month sentence. He pleaded guilty to federal crop insurance fraud. It was an emotional time for the entire family. Now, Steven has decided to move in a new direction with one business endeavor: the McBee podcast.
Steven McBee Jr. has some big plans for his career
When Season 3 of the series premieres soon, Steven will also be debuting his new girlfriend, influencer Allie Eklund. The couple announced their relationship in November, and they seem to be smitten kittens. In fact, Allie is going to be co-hosting the rebranded podcast with her beau.
The podcast, formerly known as Meet the McBees, is getting a makeover. Steven recently posted some photos of the podcast studio on his Instagram Story. The new set showcased white chairs, wooden panels for the walls, and a hanging piece of art.
Steven captioned the Story, “Podcast / live-selling studio coming together. Just wait until I have electricity in here. Ain’t bad for a farm boy.” In another Story, he hinted about what he had in store for McBee fans. “The volume of content we’re going to pump out in 2026… going all out with it,” he wrote.
The new podcast will be called More Than McBee. In an interview on the Like a Farmer podcast, posted via Instagram, Steven discussed the new podcast. “I’m more of the side piece of the podcast at this point,” Steven explained. “It was like, hey, we’ve got so much alignment here beyond just the physical attraction, and there’s so much business potential, and it just makes sense for us to come into this podcast, rebranded.”
