When Bravo fans discuss which Housewives should appear on the next season of The Traitors, Sonja Morgan’s name often comes up.
The Real Housewives of New York alum seems like the perfect fit with her quick wit and fiery personality. There is no doubt she would keep the roundtables interesting. Unfortunately for fans, our dream of Sonja entering the castle may never come to fruition.
Reality Tea recently caught up with Sonja, and she revealed the real reason she turned down The Traitors. Here’s what you need to know.
Sonja Morgan says Cameo keeps her too busy to appear on The Traitors
In our interview, Sonja shared that her busy work schedule kept her from accepting a spot on The Traitors.
“They’ve been asking me to do it, but the thing is I’m number one on Cameo worldwide … How can I go there? You only get your phone, I think, for 15 minutes,” she said.
However, she left the door open for a future appearance, saying she is “working out” a way to fit it in her schedule.
In the meantime, she is enjoying the Peacock show from the comfort of her home. Stars, they’re just like us. She told us she is rooting for her RHONY pal Dorinda Medley to take home the prize pot.
“When I found out Dorinda was on [The Traitors], I watched,” she said. “I would love [it] if she wins. Everyone loves a comeback … She’s being really quiet, very calm. She’s not bringing attention to herself. She could win it.”
While Sonja does not have plans to star on The Traitors, she does have her eye on another reality show.
“I want to do Dancing with the Stars,” she said. “I’m in shape, and I can do it. I have the moves.”
