Amanda Frances isn’t faring well on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s her first season, but rumors are already swirling that it might be her last. But as Amanda recently stressed, some of her costars “didn’t take the time” to even get to know her. And maybe if they had, things might’ve gone a lot differently in her first season.
Amanda Frances says her RHOBH co-stars “made assumptions”
First, Amanda is not leaving filming. She’s already put that rumor to bed. As she laughed, “This [rumor] is not true. I have my final interview, WWHL [Watch What Happens Live], and the reunion all on my calendar.”
That said, Amanda still has a bone to pick with certain members of her cast. In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Amanda mentioned that these ladies might have “misunderstood” who she was. And yes, she was definitely referring to Dorit Kemsely, among others.
“I think it’s pretty clear that there were a few women who didn’t take the time to get to know me at all,” Amanda explained. “They made assumptions, didn’t ask questions, and treated me as though I was somehow less than them,” she said. But “That says more about them than me. I’m not someone who feels the need to chase understanding where there’s no interest in it.”
But on the flipside, Kyle Richards was great. In fact, Amanda revealed, Kyle was “the first person who genuinely took the time to get to know me. She asked questions, she was warm, and she made me feel welcome early on,” she said. And Amanda “appreciated that a lot, especially in an environment where not everyone is the same on and off camera, where things change quickly, and people can flip in a moment.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams the next day on Peacock.
