It is desperate times for Savannah Guthrie and her family as they continue to search for their missing mother. Nancy Guthrie has not been seen since January 31st, and concern is growing about her whereabouts. It’s believed she may have been kidnapped, with a ransom note previously being sent to a pair of news outlets.
The FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office are using as many resources as possible to track her down. The Today host recently sent out a second video telling the public, “We need your help.” There are still no suspects or persons of interest in the case.

Savannah is urging anyone with information about her mother to report it immediately. On her Instagram account, the TV host begged those who might know something about this matter to step forward. “We believe our mom is still out there.” She says, “If you see anything. If you hear anything. Anything at all that seems strange to you that you report to law enforcement.”
The Guthrie family have tried to establish a line of communication with the alleged perpetrators in Nancy’s disappearance. Savannah released a video while beside her brother and sister last week, asking for proof of life. She added that they are ready to talk. Her brother Cameron sent a similar video message days later.
On Friday, Arizona’s news station KOLD reportedly received a second message regarding Nancy’s disappearance. The second note reportedly had a deadline of 5pm on Monday, seeking an estimated $6 million. The station had gotten an initial ransom note at the start of last week, which a local reporter believed might be real.
The roof camera on Nancy’s home could hold a key piece of evidence, according to a security expert. A former NYPD detective, meanwhile, thinks that those who allegedly took her may be playing games. The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information that may lead to finding Nancy.
