Bravo producer and host, Andy Cohen, is seemingly pleased that Jill Zarin and Taylor Armstrong are no longer his problem. The two Real Housewives OGs have been heavily criticized on social media over their response to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. Now, Andy has waded in.
Andy Cohen said those complaining about Jill Zarin should “call E!”
To recap, after Bad Bunny’s history-making Super Bowl Halftime Show, both Jill and Taylor went on social media rants. Jill said it was inappropriate to “have it in Spanish,” and added that it “looked like it was a political statement because there were no white people in the entire thing.”
Meanwhile, Taylor posted an Instagram Story that said: “I am embarrassed for the @NFL and Apple for the Super Bowl halftime show totally in Spanish with a Cuban flag!!”
Unsurprisingly, the Real Housewives of New York star and the Real Housewives of Orange County alum have found themselves in hot water as a result. Several Bravolebs have called them out, and some fellow housewives have even unfollowed them.
As for Andy’s response? Speaking on his Radio Andy show on February 9, he referred to Jill and Taylor as “two people who are not employed by Bravo anymore.” Next, Andy nodded to the new E! show that Jill has signed up for alongside her RHONY OG cast mates. “In terms of Jill, just … I don’t know. You know, call E!” he said.
“He’s like, ‘Not my circus, not my monkeys’,” someone said on Instagram in response to the clip. “Andy said what he said!!!!” added another person.
Not everyone was Team Andy, however. “Yes, but he brought Vicki [Gunvalson] back … so can we call you about that? Literally [the] same!”
