Over the years, Luann de Lesseps has frequently shaded her former Real Housewives of New York costar, Bethenny Frankel. And vice-versa. Now that Bethenny has just been spotted filming in Paris alongside Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer, Lu’s shade has returned.

Select members of the OG cast of RHONY are filming a spin-off for E! down in Palm Beach, Florida. It’s The Golden Life, and it features Lu, Sonja, and Ramona, but not Bethenny. However, on Instagram, the @mrhousewives account just posted an image of Bethenny with Sonja and Ramona in Paris. So, what is that all about?
In the comments, this blogger explained, “Ramona and Sonja both posted IG Stories showing off bouquets they received from Bethenny—with a card inviting them to France. In the videos, they both seemed genuinely surprised … but I’m side-eyeing this a little. Is this for the new RHONY spin-off, The Golden Life?”
Well, it’s not related to this spin-off, for the record. At least as far as we know.
Nevertheless, in the comments, one fan wrote, “I thought she wanted to protect her peace. Bethenny has an agenda.” And this is where Lu finally entered the chat. In direct response to this fan, Lu penned one short but sassy word, “Always,” followed by the clapping hands emoji.
Meanwhile, Lu’s comment is already making the rounds over on Reddit. Here, one Redditor wrote, “She’s not wrong.”
As another Redditor suggested, “Luann would be pulling the same stunt if she hadn’t been invited to join the reunion of racists show too.” That said, is Bethenny (also) trying to hang onto the old days despite her claims otherwise?
