Sonja Morgan and Jill Zarin, along with Kelly Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, and Ramona Singer, have nabbed a new docuseries on E!.
The show, which has a working title of The Golden Life, will follow the ladies as they live it up in Palm Beach. E! stated, “With their signature humor and non-stop hijinks, the series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones.” However, one cast member’s recent outburst about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was jaw-dropping.

Jill’s rant about Bad Bunny’s halftime performance was not a good look. “It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish,” Jill said in an Instagram post that has since been taken down. She added that she viewed the show as a “political statement” and stated it was a “shame.” Then Jill commented, “I think it was an ICE thing.” The backlash against Jill’s remarks was swift.
Meanwhile, on Sonja’s X account, she reposted a fan’s video clip from RHONY. It was of Luann, welcoming the ladies to Colombia. The video was captioned, “Lady Gaga coming out during the Benito Bowl.” Sonja posted, “So good” with a smiley face emoji.
However, the comments were alive, and fans were eager to share their feelings with Sonja. “Jill just ruined your show. Hope you pick the right side because Jill is not on it,” one user wrote. Meanwhile, another follower posted, “Your racist co star Jill just ruined any chance at success your new show had.” It remains to be seen what effect, if any, Jill’s comments about the Super Bowl halftime show will have on The Golden Life.
