Through one of the hardest times of his life, Jonathan Majors had one person always by his side. The actor from shows like Lovecraft Country is opening up about his assault and harassment trial, which made huge headlines. In 2023, he was on trial on charges of assault and harassment of his ex-girlfriend.
As a result, the Unites States Army suspended recruiting commercials starring him. Management company Entertainment 360 and a public relations firm called The Lede Company also ditched him. Jonathan had one loyal soldier with him every step of the way. That loyalty is not lost upon the actor years later.

While it felt like the whole world was against him throughout his trial, Meagan Good stood by her man. On Tuesday’s episode of the talk show For The Fellas, Jonathan couldn’t hold back how grateful he was for her support. “That’s my everything,” said a teary-eyed Jonathan about her.
In the end, a jury found him guilty of one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment. He did not go to jail, though, instead completing a year of counselling as punishment.
Jonathan and Meagan began dating in May 2023 and confirmed their engagement the following year. The two tied the knot in 2025, with only four people in attendance, according to reports.
Jonathan has one child from a previous relationship, a girl named Ella. He hasn’t featured in anything on the big screen since playing the former friend turned boxing foe of Adonis Creed in the third instalment of the Creed franchise. Previously, Jonathan earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Lovecraft Country.
In 2024, Jonathan’s ex, Grace Jabbari, sued him for alleged defamation, assault and battery. In November of that year, the case was dismissed with prejudice.
