The internet is buzzing about Meghan Markle’s ties to a club consultant. The Duchess of Sussex has posted her share of photographs with Markus Anderson through the years. He reportedly works for Soho House and has a longstanding friendship with the Suits actress.
While Meghan’s life has been in the spotlight constantly since meeting and marrying Prince Harry, Markus has managed to be relatively low-key. Many had speculated about who he was and his relationship with Meghan over the years.
Markus Anderson and Meghan Markle have been close friends for some time
The history between Meghan and Markus apparently dates back years ago. The two have once again become a trending topic online. In October, Marie Claire reported that Markus was a part of Meghan’s orbit before she even met her future husband. She and Markus reportedly met in Toronto, navigating the city’s social scene.
This was during her time on the show Suits. He was said to be the gatekeeper to the world, which Meghan was set to enter. Reports suggest that he was, in fact, the person who introduced Meghan to Harry.
To this day, he’s reportedly still her close confidant, having been so for seven years. He’s still seen with her for charity galas, public appearances and personal trips. Meghan reportedly returned to acting in November for financial reasons.
Online people are still a little puzzled by Markus’ constant appearances in Meghan’s pictures. One person wondered why he and where Meghan’s husband is? Another noted that the Prince looks like an intruder in photos between his wife, himself and Markus. Another person alleges that Markus is the one who keeps Harry in line.
At the end of the day, it’s believed that Markus and Meghan’s friendship is one of the few that has stood the test of time with the actress. She’s estranged from her father and many in her family since marrying Harry.
