Harvey Weinstein recently denied Gwyneth Paltrow’s allegations of massage and sexual harassment, dragging Brad Pitt into the conversation. The “Pulp Fiction” producer said to The Hollywood Reporter, “I walked out of a nice meeting with her and said, ‘How about a massage?’” and claimed, “And she just went, ‘No, I don’t think so.’ I got the message.”
Weinstein further claimed that a 22-year-old Paltrow told Pitt, who was dating her at the time, and that the “Troy” actor confronted him. He said, “Brad Pitt came to me and said, ‘Don’t do anything like that with my girl,’” to which the producer reportedly answered, “Don’t worry, Brad. I got it.”
From there, Weinstein criticized Paltrow for later speaking publicly about the incident. He accused the actor of making “such a big deal over nothing,” and insisted, “I never put my hands on her.” Additionally, he said, “I won’t forgive her for that.”
Weinstein made the comments while discussing his life in custody and his legal situation, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter from a medical unit at Rikers Island and repeating his broader claim that he did not commit any crime. Meanwhile, he still acknowledged the past behavior he described elsewhere in the interview as “embarrassing and pathetic.”
Paltrow became one of the most famous women to speak out with her massage story after the 2017 report that helped expose sexual harassment allegations against Weinstein.
