After a long and complicated fight, 90 Day Fiancé stars Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi are now officially divorced. Angela and Michael got married in Nigeria after his K1 visa application was denied. After Michael finally made it to America on a spousal visa, things between him and Angela took a turn for the worse. Michael only lived with Angela in Georgia for a few months before fleeing. The two have been separated ever since, and are now divorced.
The former couple have come to terms on their split
Angela and Michael had a messy road to their divorce, with lots of fighting and accusations. At one point, Angela claimed Michael had used her for a green card. She threatened to try to deport him, although nothing came of it.
TMZ has reported on Angela and Michael’s official divorce agreement, which contains several key clauses. One thing at issue in the split was property division, specifically cars. Angela and Michael agreed that they will each hold on to the cars in their own names. Furthermore, they will also each be accountable for their own debts and not one another’s.
Additionally, neither Angela nor Michael will make alimony payments to one another. In terms of property division, the couple seems to agree to walk away with what they each brought into the marriage.
The final clause of the agreement prohibits both Angela and Michael from defaming one another publicly through false statements. Angela and Michael have a history of this, so this section of the agreement isn’t a surprise. Ultimately, it seems that Angela and Michael were able to agree on a settlement that mutually benefits them both.
