Austen Kroll told his Southern Charm costars that he had broken up with Audrey Pratt on Season 11, Episode 10. Needless to say, Salley Carson was absolutely delighted at the news. So much so, that Madison LeCroy had to tell her to tone down her enthusiasm. This comes after Salley’s declaration that she would happily hook up with Austen as soon as he was single again.
None of this could be comfortable for Audrey to see now. She admitted to Andy Cohen that his ex-girlfriend reached out with some choice words in light of the recent episodes.
Austen and Audrey “certainly talked” when the Southern Charm Season 11 trailer dropped
Austen appeared on Watch What Happens Live on February 4. She told Andy that he still speaks to his ex-girlfriend of two years, “but not as often.” He continued, “I mean we certainly talked when the trailer dropped, and then again a couple of months later. And then she just saw some things and was like, ‘WTF.'”
“It’s heartbreaking for me to kind of see it back and for her to kind of be like, ‘I didn’t know that these thoughts were going through your head.’ So that definitely is very sad,” Austen explained. “Because I care about her still, a lot.”
Salley’s relentless pursuit of Austen came to a head for Audrey at Rodrigo Reyes and Tyler Dugas’ engagement party.
“She had words with Shep because she and Shep had a friendship,” Austen said of the conflicts that night. “Because Shep actually made an effort to be friends, and you know, Craig has never done that. So she was just talking to me about probably Salley and probably a little bit about Shep.”
Ultimately Austen believes that he made the right decision. He added, “I think that she did lose herself a little bit. That’s why I was like, you need to man up and, like, speak to her and tell her exactly what’s going on.”
