In one of the episodes of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, the mother of four was reacting to toddlers saying goodbye to their pacifiers. After watching the video, she shared an incident, which was a funny yet not-so-good memory for her.
Kylie mentioned that when her and Jason Kelce’s firstborn came at an age when the toddler needed to wean off her pacifier, the parents came to a decision. They replaced the same with a fish named “Paci.” “It was irresponsible as a parent, because it only created — you guessed it — more responsibility for us as the parents,” Kylie said.
Controlling her laugh, the 33-year-old mentioned that she would “not recommend” this strategy to other parents. It was because their decision led to the “responsibility of taking care of a fish.” Claiming it to be a “bad confession” on her podcast, Kylie further narrated what happened to “Paci.”
“They were constantly trying to give the fish things, and it turns out that Paci actually couldn’t receive things because Paci was a fish — and I say ‘was’ because that marker took Paci to her grave,” she added.
Realizing their mistake, Jason and Kylie had to get into a serious conversation with Wyatt about “fish heaven.” In the end, she vowed not to repeat the same strategy with her two-year-old Bennett.
