The DJ who has two kids from his marriage to the pop star may have to go to court to resolve his issues. He and Britney have been at odds since their breakup, with the former blasting her in a tell-all book last year.
Kevin Federline is facing a lawsuit over alleged unpaid credit card debt
Kevin’s spending habits are coming back to bite him. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, K-Fed was sued by Bank of America in February over the debt he’d accumulated on his credit card. The bank claims that he owes them $12,186.64.
Kevin allegedly opened that bank account in December 2024, one month after Britney made the last child support payment to him. He had earned custody of their sons, and the pop star was ordered to pay child support for years. That amounted to around $20,000 a month.
He and Britney haven’t exactly been super kind to one another since the split. Britney previously blasted Kevin’s memoir, calling it exhausting while accusing him of constant gaslighting. Kevin accused her of punching their son Sean in the face in his novel. He also alleged that she was doing coke while breastfeeding the kids.
While it’s been a rough week for both Kevin and Britney, their two kids are likely feeling the brunt of this. Sean and Jayden are reportedly going to be with their mom while she recovers following her arrest. Britney’s loved ones are said to be planning to support her throughout this process. Britney and her kids have had a complicated relationship. The pop singer is trying to reconnect with both of them. Britney is due to appear in court for her recent arrest in May.
