Summer House newbie Bailey Taylor has had a huge crush on costar Ben Waddell. However, as much as she’d tried, and failed, to flirt with him, Ben was not reciprocating any interest. Well, Bailey finally caught his attention, but not in a good way. During Amanda Batula’s birthday dinner, Bailey claimed something about Ben that sent shockwaves through the group. Did Ben want to sleep with Amanda?
Ben Waddell wasn’t impressed by Bailey Taylor’s Summer House outburst
Everyone in the house knew that Bailey liked Ben, except for … Ben. Amanda encouraged her to flirt with him and even had her practice with West Wilson first. But Bailey just couldn’t hit the mark.
However, when Bailey tried again during Season 10, Episode 6, it was even more of an epic fail. Everyone was going around the table saying something nice about Amanda for her birthday. When Ben talked about Amanda’s smile and eyes, Bailey dropped a bomb.
She interjected, “I was gonna say, Ben’s gonna talk about how he definitely wants to sleep with you.” While most thought it was a joke, Ben wasn’t laughing.
After Ben confronted her later, she told him, “I was just joking cause you guys tell that story about how you met, you were both naked skinny dipping. And you always joke about how like you would if you could.” Ben retorted, “I never joked about ‘I would if I could.’ I just think it was rude.”
In her confessional Bailey shared, “I didn’t make it up. I didn’t actually think like, ‘Oh my God, they’re having an affair.’ But like he does flirt with her. Obviously there’s the story of them swimming naked in a pool.”
She continued, “He makes her coffee when she wakes up in the morning. Where’s my Goddamn coffee? She’s getting out of the pool; he’s making sure she has a towel. Her husband could be doing all these things. She should be being picked up and spun around by Kyle [Cooke]. Just saying. It’s weird.”
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It can be streamed on Peacock the next day.
