If you’ve been following the Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers divorce, then you know that this man has been dealing with a myriad of financial issues. Unfortunately for him, they just got worse. The estranged husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star just got hit with a massive, six-figure judgment. It all stems back to his “wellness center” and a cancer patient he allegedly promised to treat.

Remember on RHOBH, how Aaron ran that wellness center, and he blabbed about how he had access to new cancer treatments. He said that his treatments were so groundbreaking that Big Pharma was chasing him down in the streets. Well, unsurprisingly, that business is at the center of a lawsuit, even though it closed its doors years ago.

According to court documents reviewed by TMZ, a man named Rupert Perry filed a lawsuit against Aaron over a failed treatment plan for his wife, Elina Katsioula-Beall. She died from scarcoma in May 2024.

In the lawsuit, Rupert claims that Aaron offered Elina cancer treatments at his facility in 2023 when her traditional treatments weren’t working. Similar to the claims we heard on RHOBH, Aaron allegedly told this woman that his stem cell treatments offered a 98% sucess rate. Per the court documents, Aaron promised a 50% refund if the treatment didn’t work.

Ultimately, the treatments didn’t work, and Rupert asked for a 50% refund, which came to $63,000. That’s when things started to get messy.

In the lawsuit, Rupert claimed that Aaron gave him the run-around and never returned the money. An insider said that Aaron’s business was actually the middleman in the agreement, and he wasn’t personally liable for the money.

Either way, Rupert sued Aaron for fraud and breach of contract. Aaron failed to respond to the lawsuit, so a judge just issued a default judgment of $160,000 against him. Whether or not he has that kind of money to blow is a different story.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. You can stream it the next day on Peacock.
