Holly Madison won a portion of the late Hugh Hefner’s heart back in the day, as seen on The Girls Next Door. After she left the Playboy mansion, Holly went on to star in a few other programs. However, as Holly just revealed, there was one major reality TV series that she actually passed on. And it’s all because Holly misunderstood why she was even cast for this show in the first place.

While chatting with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Holly revealed that someone actually approached her to appear in the inaugural season of The Traitors. However, since this was a new series, Holly had no idea what it was all about. So, she just assumed that these producers were trying to shade her.
“I thought they were picking me to be on ‘Traitors’ because they thought I was a traitor for writing a book about Hef,” Holly laughed. “And I’m like, ‘Well, I’m not falling for this.’ So I turned it down.”
Fans might recall that in 2015, Holly wrote a memoir, aptly titled Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny. It ended up becoming a bestseller. Holly was pretty candid about this “cult-like” environment. She also bashed Hugh a few times, so it’s understandable why she might have thought as she did, when only a few years later, producers on The Traitors sought her out.
But, now that she’s aware, would Holly ever reconsider starring on this series? “Yes, I would,” she exclaimed. However, she does have one request. She would like to appear “on the same season” as Trisha Paytas. “That would be my favorite thing ever.”
