Robyn Brown has been the puppeteer behind the Brown family for years, turning the head of Kody Brown with her sinful desire to conquer the unsuspecting family. The Sister Wives villain has never been well-received, mainly due to her nickname, Sobbin’ Robyn. Since joining the polygamous family in 2010, Robyn has often claimed she wanted nothing more than to grow old with her fellow sister wives on a porch together out on Coyote Pass. However, the mother of five may be rethinking her union with Kody, who recently fell off the polygamy wagon and is about to lose their land in Arizona. Robyn might divorce Kody if he keeps going down the path of monogamy.
Kody Is a Loner Now
After losing three of his four wives, Kody has “no interest” in marrying again. At least, that’s what he claimed in Season 18 of Sister Wives. Kody once prided himself on the fact that he could please four women, though we doubt he ever actually spiritually or physically did.
For years, Kody denied the fact that he only ever truly loved Robyn as he forced his first three wives further and further away from him. Kody has finally started to admit that plural marriage is difficult, but the revelation also leaves Robyn in quite a predicament.
Robyn Wanted a Family
From day one, Robyn has claimed she only ever wanted to be part of a large family unit. While courting Kody, she often bragged about being able to enter the family as the youngest wife. Although most of the older kids never took to her, she was able to have her own children with Kody, which she had hoped would solidify her as a bona fide spouse.
However, Robyn’s actions often tell a different tale. In reality, Robyn never really lived a polygamous lifestyle. She often had Kody at her beck and call to help raise the children. During the pandemic, the father of 18 chose to hunker down with her, leaving the rest of his family out in the cold. Evidently, Robyn was never one to help the group, only herself. Interesting but not surprising.
Kody Gave up Courting
During the summer, there were rumors that Kody had found a new woman to court who lived in Mexico. The situation became dire after he was dumped by the woman, via The Sun, while filming the newest season.
However, the woman “wanted zero to do with Kody and Robyn. She was pretty much wanting to get out of the situation immediately.” It turns out that “she was very uncomfortable with the whole situation. She said she didn’t like their energy.” After being denied, Kody’s ego was once again left bruised as Robyn had to witness another woman who didn’t want to sleep with her husband.
Naturally, Kody felt more than humiliated as he was forced to relive his first three wives leaving him. Kody was said to have gone as far as to argue that the footage not be shown. Imagine Robyn’s dismay as she watched Kody be turned down again. I’d be getting those divorce papers ready if I was her.
Kody Won’t Accept Another Wife
One major red flag for Robyn is the fact that Kody isn’t willing to accept another spouse even if Robyn hand-picked her out of a crowd. If Robyn always imagined sharing her husband, then she is most certainly turned off by Kody’s recent answer. He shared on the tell-all that he “wouldn’t be interested because I would have to tell that woman, ‘I will never love you as much as I love her,’ because now I know better.”
For most, hearing their husband say they were their one true love would be an aphrodisiac, but it could be the nail in the coffin for Robyn. Kody’s fourth wife has already dealt with his bitterness and anger, and he is on her last nerve. Honestly, if Kody chooses to stay monogamous, he may lose his last and final wife to another divorce. However, if Robyn did decide to sign on the dotted line, it would be interesting to see who she had lined up in the wings to break her fall from grace.
