For the most part, LeeAnne Locken has made some great strides this season on Real Housewives of Dallas. Then she referred to Brandi Redmond as an “alcoholic” in conversation Cary Deuber and Kameron Westcott…. That is a definite misstep, but at least she admitted to that and owned up to her mistake in a Bravo blog post after the last episode.
Hopefully she does the same thing at some point during this season. Nevertheless, LeeAnne is bound to argue with both Brandi and her best-friend-turned-enemy D’Andra Simmons about her “concerns” over their drinking habits during the Season 3 reunion.
Even though LeeAnne has been a Housewife for three seasons, she really is an all star Housewife. She provides with some shocking moments (her infamous hands monologue from Season 2), but she also owns up to her mistakes and apologize. She’s a polarizing character for sure, but she definitely is the reason Real Housewives of Dallas even got to a Season 3.
In her Bravo blog post, LeeAnne demonstrated just how self-aware she is by writing, “Several weeks ago I called Cary and said… “If this (D’andra and Brandi attacking my relationship) is my karma, I am 100% willing to accept it and deal with it.” So, no Cary, the irony was never lost on me! And BOY is Cary right! Concerning myself with D’Andra’s life is only CAUSING PROBLEMS for me. Chalk this is up to other lesson learned!” Nevertheless, concerning yourself with other people’s lives is an essential part of being a Real Housewife, so this isn’t the last time that a cast member’s person life will become a hot topic of conversation.
LeeAnne admitted, “And at Elizabeth W grand opening is where I make my FIRST MISTEP this season! I should have never allowed myself to get so worked up that I used the word ‘alcoholic’ to Cary. It was out of bounds, and I was wrong. Here I am OWNING IT, and soon I will be APOLOGIZING for it!”
Even though LeeAnne did apologize and own that mistake, she still explained just why she ended up saying that: “I am a human who has been PUSHED and PUSHED to go off for 11 weeks now! After hearing the word ‘alcoholic’ come out of D’Andras mouth a million times, I finally fell in the hole!”
She continued, “GIRLS ARE MEAN! Brandi and D’Andra have purposely antagonized me for WEEKS, and to be honest, I was getting more than a little tired of it! I should have gone home and meditated rather than express myself to Cary and Kameron in a public place.”
LeeAnne discussed the charity event that D’Andra brought Brandi to a couple episodes ago: “D’Andra doesn’t remember how Brandi was swaying because she was holding on to me so she wouldn’t sway! They were both WASTED at the kickoff party and everyone there knew it!”
LeeAnne wrote, “I find it interesting how D’Andra tells Kameron and Jimmy that it’s OK for her to ‘play silly drinking games during the day’ because she doesn’t have children to go home and take care of. Uhh, what? Who are you drinking with??? I’m gonna stick my neck out on the line here for a hot second and say what Jimmy is saying is EXACTLY what I was saying in the very beginning!” Is she taking a dig at Brandi for “playing silly drinking games during the day”? It sure seems like it.
LeeAnne wondered, “Oh Brandi, can you ever have a confessional where you don’t feel the need to try and TRASH ME? I can’t get to one year in a relationship? I am at 9 1/2 years, sweetheart! Keep believing your own bullsh–!” This LeeAnne and Brandi feud has become the foundation of the show. Of course they’re both going to shade each other, insult each other, and cross the line. They’ve both being doing this since Season 1 and it’s probably not going to change.
LeeAnne called out D’Andra for including her mother Dee in the drama: “OMG! Did D’Andra just say, ‘I don’t bring my mother to the dog fight! I fight the fight myself!’? Are you kidding me? You LITERALLY brought your mother in to the ‘dog fight’ with me, and you literally brought her to the unveiling!” I have no problem with D’Andra bringing her mother to anything. Sure, she’s not a Housewife, but her mother is reality TV gold and she even managed to get her own confessional interview during episodes. Do any other family members have that? No. This woman is a welcomed addition to the show in my eyes. She throws amazing shade (even at her own daughter) and has iconic fashion sense.

LeeAnne insisted, “Kameron didn’t have a ‘problem’ with you, she was being a friend! D’Andra’s twisting and turning of things that happen are becoming RIDICULOUS! I’m gonna have to start calling her DELUSIONAL D’Andra! OMG! Now she is telling Kameron that they ATTACKED her?!! Did we all just see the same peaceful conversation?” Does telling D’Andra that her reputation is ruined in Dallas really constitute “being a friend”? I don’t know about that one, Kameron.
LeeAnne seemingly took a dig at D’Andra’s marriage with this remark: “You will always be judged differently because you call yourself a Simmons! Maybe start using your married name, and it will actually not bother you anymore.” Ouch.
She concluded, “Now I am going to address the tease for next week: I DID NOT tell Dee that I thought Brandi was an alcoholic! THAT IS A LIE! I recorded that conversation and will happily play it back for her anytime! When are these fools going to STOP putting words in my mouth!” But she did tell Cary and Kameron that she thinks Brandi is an alcoholic, so it really worth clearing up one conversation when she actually did say that to other people in a conversation that aired in the episode?
TELL US- DID BRANDI & D’ANDRA ANTAGONIZE LEEANNE? OR ARE ALL THREE OF THEM AT FAULT FOR THEIR DRAMA?
